Well that all made sense. He hadn't exactly sought her out after his first meeting with her, which led to finding that foot on the beach. Though, his expression darkened a bit as Jeremiah revealed a little extra about her. "If she is a piece of the Enemy, we will need to do something about her to fully defeat it, will we not?"

"In all honesty? Very possibly but she is infinitely powerful and capable of anything." Jeremiah raked a hand through his hair, leaning to take a sip of his cold drink. For a moment the cup shook until he wrapped both hands around it. "She is simply a girl who deserves more than what has happened to her but in the end she is still part of all of this. Like you, like myself- so be mindful." He took a sip of his drink.

Shun slowly nodded at that. Sunny seemed more dangerous to him right now, but he hadn't really seen or heard of her doing anything inherently bad. He hadn't really trusted her in the first place anyway, so not a whole lot changed here for him. At some point they were probably going to need to figure out what they had to do about her. "Is there anyone caught up in this whole thing that has actually asked for it?"

"It depends on what you mean by that." Jeremiah shook his head. "As I certainly did but I cannot say the same for others." Algie had in his own way as well, Zac as well- There were a handful of them that had gone looking and got themselves involved. Yet none that were quite like Jeremiah and had seen Sunny with her too many teeth and the blood red waters and still kept going. Blade Kuroda i mean you have seen his trouble, right, i signed up for this shite ...

"I found her on the beach, Kuroda, Sunny Shore." His head tilted towards the callalily that was on his piano once more as he was not dressed for work. It was still in perfect shape. "When the case first began. She had information and smile with too many teeth - as if she sometimes forget how many we have - and showed me the blood red waters and-" His shoulders lifted and shrugged. "I made my deal with her then and I'll have to pay my price sooner or later of breaking it but I did so knowing that things were not at all what they seemed. It's more than most get when they are simply pulled in without realizing what they're part of."

Shun furrowed his brow, drinking more of his tea as he listened. Actually, now that he thought about it, that sounded very much like a Jeremiah thing to do. "Myself included. I pretty much just fell headfirst into the deep end," he uttered. Though, he didn't really have any intentions of trying to climb out now that the was there, regardless if he could swim. Either he'd find a way to get through it, or drown trying. He shook his head. "So are the seizures the only thing that is ailing you right now?"

"Seizures, fainting, headaches ..." Jeremiah's shoulders rolled, another stretch to get rid of an ache that did not really ever leave. His fingers were tight around his cup, glancing towards Shun. "I have yet to go more than a handful of hours without collapsing and there's not been a guarantee that when I do I don't find myself in other ashdown while I'm unconscious." As even their dreams could lead there and it seemed because of the knowledge he had that he was pulled over more often than not. His lips twitched a bit. "... and that is not including that my throat was scorched and I cannot bring myself to drink anything remotely hot."

"Scorched? Was this a result of an encounter with the Burning Man?"Autumn had once said something about that guy burning her lungs. There weren't really many other fire entities that he could think of too. All in all, this was still fairly concerning. "Hopefully this will not be continuing for much longer," he stated, leaning back in his seat some, "Would not do for you to be out of commission in the long term..."

"Not him, not exactly," Jeremiah's eyes looked to the notebook again, the inky blots of his attempts at drawing out some of the things on the back of his eyelids. "Something-" he let out a breath. "It was all images, too much information at once that he gave me, but there was something else. A body protesting, the smell of smoke and flesh-" His head shook. "If you ask me, I believe I got a taste of something that happened to someone and I am thankful it was not much more than what I am dealing with."

There was a slow tilt of his head. Well that sounded incredibly unpleasant. It was slightly reminiscent of what had happened when he touched one of the glowy wisp things... except that left no lingering effect upon him. Maybe Jeremiah had just undergone a more intense version of that sort of thing. "Well then..." he trailed off. "I do not suppose there is anything else I can do for you in the meantime?"

"Not at the moment, though you can keep an eye out for things at work." The usual eye out for anything that was more of an other ashdown variety than normal. The bone ring on his finger was given a lingering look, though left untouched, before he raised his attention back to Shun. "I'm on sabbatical for at least a few weeks and hopefully that is enough time for this to fade. The scorched throat did after a few days and hopefully the other aspects will as well. Given that August is coming up, it is not advisable for me to be in a state that I'm easily subdued."

"Of course. I will let you know if anything out of the ordinary comes up," Shun nodded. He placed the empty cup of tea aside, listening. A few weeks... a lot could potentially happen within that time span, but hopefully nothing dire would come up. "Yes... that does remind me. Awhile back a group of us had been pulled to the theater. Faceless one tended to it, and there was a caged talking chipmunk that ended up getting released due to people feeling sorry for it. Turns out the chipmunk is the Destroyer. It is locked back up again," he muttered, shaking his head at the memory, "But aside from that, there were things in the theater... some things that pointed towards the incident where you lot first met Heliodora. That scene even played out on screen. There were also posters for Blackfriars. The third poster was too badly damage to really make out much... but what I could see were glittering masks."It wasn't much, but maybe it was something of a hint.

"... what?" Jeremiah blinked. "Faceless? ... a chipmunk?" He smoothed a hand across his forehead. "Not the most ... outlandish thing I've heard. There's something about that place that turns small things people think are cute into things that are the exact opposite." The clue was helpful, though he could not say why. "You saw what happened that night?" It was odd that there was even a place that could show things that had happened and had advertisements for situations they had been in.
