It is the year 201, the 11th of August

The fertility festival draws to a close without a hitch. The Duke of Phobos and the Lady with the Green eyes crowned as the Lord and Lady of the Festival this year. As the night changes slowly to day and the sun slowly starts to appear above the horizon the day starts out misty and with a slight chill, but it will quickly heat up though out the day, leading to a muggy and stuffy feeling. Eventually at its height the weather will reach 105 degrees.

In other news the people of Ethe have awoken to several tremors, and when they look toward the southeastern corner of the ruined half of their kingdom they can see a strange red smoke billowing up into the sky from a mountain that many thought was over 4201 years dead, Mt. Shaeila, as all the people of Ethe will start to hear a crying coming from the ruined land, a crying only those born with Ethe blood would hear, the strange sound of a child crying.

It is the year 201, NOV. 16th

The days begin getting colder, the last month of fall brings the most of the harvest and grainstorage rooms are filling in anticipation for the winter. It is a comfortable 70 degrees out with a soft Zephyr, the crisp smell of the trees fill the air as leaves of brown, orange, gold float down with a near ethereal quality.

Kingdom News:

Lionis: The Emperors illness has waned and he has taken his seat back, releasing his wife of her duties as regent

Phobos: A record number of soulshredders has congregated in the Badlands, numbers are at 130 according to the last scout.

Zalto: Construction for the church of Onera Continues, attacks on the trade caravans continue.

Bellris: Ethen refugees have began to make their way home from Bellris, No more fires dot the land, Bellris has stopped trade with all kingdoms and guard activity along its boarders has increased.

Ethe: The Barrier along the Ethe boarder continues prohibiting anyone without Ethen blood to enter the lands of Ethe, causing those who try to get violently sick. Ethe refugees are returning home and flooding the streets of Etherland, the sudden influx of population within the city has caused a violent rise in crime and scarcity of already stretched resources.

It is the year 201, NOV. 17th

"as the sun continues its journey across the sky, its body shining in the west as it runs from the appearing moon, as the god of the moon chases the radiant sun away from his sister the rays of the sun touch upon a horrifying sight.

It was first noticed in the ponds and lakes as dead frogs and fish floated to the surface of all the water ways of Ethe, the frogs and fishes eyes bulging out of their faces. A farmer in Etelan that was herding his flock of sheep that had only turned around for a moment turned back around to see his flock had keeled over without a sound as if the air from their lungs had been sucked from them.

The people in Etherland look up as birds start to fall from the sky midflight, children notice as the cricket's stop chirping, and butchers turn around to find their livestock was already dead.

Joy turns to horror as screams of surprise and fear fill the air from down in Kaishin to up in Etherland, from Titania all the way across Solidon as everything without Ethen blood is now dead from common mice to house pets, even farm animals, some animals having shown signs of sickness before the untimely demise.... other then the breathing of fearful citizens, the entirety of the Ethen kingdom is silent."

The land of Epsilon stays afloat for another year
We enter the year 202au
Second Year into the Reign of Emperor Azazel Drosselmeyer
We begin the year as Winter, January 3rd, just a little bit after the New Years

It is a fine winters day sporting the first snow of the year falling fresh in the night, covering the ground in a soft fresh fluffy powder the likes of confectioners sugar. A thin layer of ice lays flat above the rivers and lakes, not thick enough to skate on as the water flows underneath it in such a way that it makes it seem like magic is running below. Icicles form on the trees in the colder regions of Epsilon such as Ethe, Phobos and the eastern half of Bellris. Beautiful Lenten Roses and delicate snowdrops flowers open their petals just above the surface of the snow. The temperature remains a chilly -7 degrees farenheight so wearing multiple layers or furs is encouraged, but so long has you don't have to fly or walk to far you should be fine. Many Oni have appeared across Epsilon, though they are harmless engaging in any sort of contact with theses winter appearing phenomenon is both discouraged and frowned upon.

Lionis

It has been a fine year and Epsilon has managed to avoid war. Within the capital of the Drosselmeyer lead Empire it seems that things are starting to flip a better coin as the Emperor at request of his beloved Empress has began the construction of sick houses for the poor in preparation for the yearly influx of ailments that seem to appear in the Winter. The people of Lionis seem to have grown less talkative and more suspicious however as security has doubled in the capital, cracking down on crime and imposing stricter punishments for murder, theft, and brutality as it seems the people are looking over their shoulders more and the Underground starts seeping into the growing slums of Lionis and the population seems to slowly be on the decline. Though many openly praise the Ethe-born Empress Ambrosia's kindness and say nothing for fear of their lives about the emperor, many have began to whisper about the survival of the true claimant to the throne.


Zalto

Zalto has welcomed a beautiful crown princess into the world whos bloodline cements the marriage alliance between the Drosselmeyer's and the Llewellyns, this daughter of the King of Zalto bears the name Princess Flora Elizabeth. Within the year Zalto has had primarily good news they have avoided any catastrophes so far and several explorers of Zalton lineage have began travelling into the desert in hopes of finding relics of the supposed Empire that preceded the Lionis founded empire that began 200 years ago. The boarder tension with Bellris has been resolved as a contract has been signed between the two nations that all objects of trade will stop at the boarder and be paid for and escorted the rest of the way into each nation by each respective party. The only bad news that comes from Zalto this following year comes from a growing religious divide, with the Grand Church of Onera having been finished being built a little before the New Year, many followers of the gods have been converting to the Church- and as the Church of Onera is seen as a Cult by thousands it has lead to outright malice and a growing divide between the two religions in Zalto.... However it is hoped that with the wedding of Princess Athena and Roland Bellris coming up soon that the tension will ease up.

Bellris

Bellris has had the most successful year out of perhaps all of the nations, thanks to structured planning- excess coin reserves- and a bunch of luck. A large deposit of Salsugoterrae was found near the edge of the world and the Bellrisians have it under constant guard as they attempt to extract it. Thanks to an abundance of resources and coin the younger generation of Bellrisian children have a better grasp and understanding of the common tongue as several former nobility set up salons and small school houses across the country, several closer to the Bellris-Ethe boarder have even offered made public their academic services to foreigners so long as they can manage the trip to and from the schools. The former Queen, Hysteria, has gained even more popularity amongst the Bellrisian and even Ethen Born citizens of Bellris for having brought thousands of jobs to the Bellrisian community this last year by commissioning sewage and water systems in all major Bellrisian cities and the building of an Aqueduct from the Bellrisian Highlands for fresh water, thousands of the Bellrisian and Ethen born Citizens that reside in Bellris have given her the title of "Unsere Bestieg Eine" or in the common tongue "Our ascended one", thanks to this the Bellris population is booming as it is said that the population in all major cities has tripled. The former Queen of Bellris' son has also turned one and she has also born a beautiful daughter, Salome Bellris... who's crying causes strange scars to appear all over her body and causes old scars to flare up upon the bodies of anyone in the room.

Phobos

Phobos has been having relative success as well, its infestation of Soulshredders has been dealt with and any remaining within its boarders are tracked down as fast as its possible to do so. King Herod has imposed a military regiment and draft system within Phobos, bulking up the Phobian military so successfully that several more encampments have had to be built for support. They have also attempted their hand at farming and with a few fails during the previous years they have found their soil is best suited for root vegetables and winter vegetables. Though Phobos has a ways to go to catch up with the other nations they are well on their way as crime has gone down by 10% and birthrates have gone up by 15%

Ethe

Despite Ethe's rocky start last year with the destruction of 3/4th of their kingdom, the death of their King William and Heir Cheza, the mas Exodus and then return of hundreds of survivors, The death of all their animals and the withdraw of their queen from public life, it was looking bleak for the Ethens. Though compared to the other Kingdoms they are still far behind (due to no fault of their own) for once in a very long time most of the Ethen people have started to have hope. Though crime is still very high compared to what it once was, and Ethe having a fraction of its population left it has made strides in its recovery. Having to go from a omnivore like palate to a Vegetarian one (since no animals have been able to be farmed or produced within Ethes boarders) a majority of the population has turned to vegetarianism, while meat is reserved as a luxury that only nobility and royalty can afford. Despite this the health of the Ethen people is being maintained as they have plenty of food to feel more than comfortable, the Ethen people have began having children again, causing a population spike by 30% just this last year. The Ethens good health is also in part to a small scale public welfare system that has been set up that tends to severe cases of illness and injury that cant be treated by home remedies. Homeless shelters and Orphanages have been set up in every major territory of Ethe and an attempt to form an Education system has began, though it has had mixed reception as more of the younger generation seem to be drawn toward manual labor while mid-aged adults to elders seem to be more interested in education, specifically toward this new thing called "Science". The people have began to look toward Stewardess Kai as their leader as they see their queen less and less, some more zealous folks going so far as to say she is the "true queen" in the castle. The true queen however, has brought into the world twin boys- Jerome and Julius.
