Having held on as Aldon instructed her to, Athena remained on her horse as they arrived at the castle gates. Of course she would allow Aldon to speak up, since he was the crowned prince of Zalto and all. Plus she figured it would make things a little more official seeming if he gave their reasons for the sudden uninvited arrival to visit the emperor, not to mention the fact that she was simply too nervous to really talk at the moment. After all she had heard rumour that the emperor was taller than their father and held a rather wicked temper as well, though said rumours could very well be exaggerated too. Either way the thought was causing her to bite her lower lip in her usual nervous manner, even though she was currently sitting atop a horse with her eldest brother sitting right behind her.

Isara soon appeared with Kaiden and Ambrosia on her back while Crys lands on top of Isara's head. Kaiden tighten the reigns as he soon got off her then he extends his hand out for Ambrosia to help her get off Isara. Kaiden felt something very wrong here, maybe he was paranoid but he heard stories of the emperor, he heard that he was taller and more fearful then any other human being.
His eyes may not be normal but it looked like he was starting to loose it as he felt his heart beat faster and faster but he had to relax or everyone will worry but Isara nudges Kaiden in comfort as she sense his discomfort.
Aldon Slid off the horse, concealing his pain as he dismounted. He stood to his full height and addressed the castle guard, "I am the Crown Prince of Zalto, Aldon Adonis Llewellyn. I come with my two siblings, Princess Athena Bethany Llewellyn and Prince Kaiden Cross Llewellyn, along with our guest Ambrosia Aleksei. We've come to pay a visit to the Emperor and give him our respects and fealty. To show that Zalto truly stands with him. I do ask that we are seen by a doctor if he so generously allows, as some of us have unfortunately sustained some injuries along the journey here. Myself included." When he finished he waited till one of the guards bowed and excused himself to seek out the Emperor to tell him of their arrival, before he walked back to his sister and extended a hand to her to help her off if she wanted to get down. He could sense her unease and he gave her a soft smile, in a way of telling her that everything would be ok and that he'd never let anything happen to her or to Kaiden. He kept himself standing tap and proper no matter how much his left calve was hurting him. The two cuts on his face, one on his temple and the other across his cheek had sealed up, his left calve however still bled. He sighed, his attire was disheveled and he probably looked bad. He hoped his appearance would not offend the Emperor. He had no time to change nor did he want too till his calve was able to be sealed.
Ambrosia kept her eyes closed, trusting Kaiden to keep her safe. Her nerves were still high, but she was relaxed enough having her friend nearby that she did not upset Isara. Feeling the warmth of Kaiden at her back gone she slowly opened her eyes. She blinked they were in from of a castle and it was large and beautiful. She looked around and seeing Kaiden extend his hand to help her off the horse she smiled warmly and accepted his help, glad to not look so ungraceful getting off the horse. Once on the ground she straightened out her dress and her hair. Rascal slowly walked up beside them, choosing to sit down in front of the two as if he was claiming and guarding them, he paid no mind to the big horse or falcon above his head, only on those in front of him. Ambrosia paused hearing Aldon's grand introduction. Prince? Princess? Oh Goddess I hope I haven't offended them by my actions...although I'm sure they would've told me if I had....doesn't matter something's wrong with Kaiden. She looked at Kaiden and placed a gentling hand on his wrist. "What's wrong Kaiden? I'm sure we'll be alright. Besides, I'm here if you should decide you need the strength of a friend." She said softly to him so not to embarrass him or offend anyone nearby. She gave him a warm smile, even if he couldn't see it she felt he would know she was.
Kaiden snaps out of it as he felt Ambrosia's hand on his wrist then he sighs,"Y-Yeah, I am alright..I just I got a little nervous, usually I stay at our home when my family visits other kingdoms but I guess you can say I am nervous on what might happen in a way.."he chuckles nervously while Crys hops on his shoulder then she rests there to keep him company.
He heard Aldon speak to the guard then he clears his throat lightly,"Shall we then?"he gestures toward his siblings as he walks up next to his little sister as he places his hand on her shoulder then made a light squeeze, telling her that he was nervous as well but in his mind he so wished that his father was near by and same goes for his mother.

Athena remained atop her mare as Aldon made his introduction, but after he turned to her she sighed and let her brother help her down. Of course her nervousness remained even as she felt Kaiden's hand on her shoulder, which made her give him a small smile. "I...I think we need to wait f-for approval first." She whispered while trying to stand up a little straighter in a hope that she wouldn't look so scared despite her nervous habit, which was doing once again. Naturally being so short didn't really help her look intimidating, but at least if all else failed she'd be able to hide behind one of her brothers without really being noticed.

Emperor Azazel was on his way to the throne room when the guard found him, explaining that guests from Zalto had arrived along with a guest. Azazel raised an eyebrow, confused for a moment before he nodded his head "lead me to them" he ordered and Azazel started walking toward the front of the castle.
When he arrived the guard opened the door and Azazel once again walked outside. He would look out from the top step at the four that had come to the castle "Crown Prince Aldon, Prince Kaiden, Princess Athena, and Guest" he said, having not been told that they had also brought along a guest, It was surprising and it was slightly irritating that the guard hadn't told him everything. The Emperor walked down the stairs and saw the injuries, he turned to a servant "Go order the royal physician here" he said as the servant ran off. Emperor Azazel looked at the four "I would offer you to come in and have drinks but my dining hall is currently in use by my family." he said to them "and the light outside is bright enough that the doctor can see your injuries easier" he told them.
The Emperor's eyes would fall upon the guest, she was very short compared to his height, but she was gorgeous with her ebony brown hair and hazel eyes. He would take a moment to stare at her in admiration of the way her clothing seemed to compliment her body before he turned to look once more at Aldon as the Physician started to come down the stairs, the old man taking one step at a time. The Emperor frowned "I am surprised to see you so soon, I was just talking with King Arthur and Queen Valeska just this morning" he said "Did you come to respond to my request?" he asked him.
Aldon nodded to his sister's comment, "us showing up unannounced is enough, if we were to walk in without permission would be blatantly stepping on toes." Just as he said this the Emperor walked out the doors. He bowed low in respect and greeting before attempting to stand at his full height. "Emperor Azazel I wish we were all in better shape than we are now. But we seemed to have had some difficulties on the journey over." When he mentioned having them in for drinks he smiled fondly, as appetizing as that sounded right now he didn't want to impose any more than they already were. "There's no need to waste such hospitality on us. I'm sorry we also came without sending prior notice. A mishap on my behalf that won't happen again. I thank you for being gracious enough to have your physician look us over and fix us up. Miss Aleksei has provided some poultices to help with Kaiden's and her wounds but I'd rather have all of our wounds dressed properly, if only to make the journey home easier and to calm mother...I'm sure you're aware of her temper." He said making light of his mother's temper that she rarely showed, but when she did boy did the maids gossip about it. Aldon's mouth twitched ever so slightly at the mention of him having spoken to his parents earlier in the day. You'd think that if they couldn't find their children that they would've at least sent Crys with a letter holding the details. That bird would go nowhere but straight to Kaiden. He mentally sighed and straightened himself. "I have heard nothing so far as for your request your majesty but I, as Crown Prince am sure I'd be happy to oblige. If not only to show fealty, respect, as well as to strengthen our kingdoms bond."
Ambrosia smiled warmly at Kaiden, her hand squeezing his wrist just slightly before letting go in a show of support. "You have nothing to fear my dear friend. You are stronger than you believe, and we shall all stand beside you and give you strength should you need it." As he walked away to join his siblings she waited a moment before following to stand beside them. She kept her mouth shut as they discussed going in or not. It wasn't long before the Emperor appeared. She curtsied low in respect and greeting as he made his way towards them. The man was huge and stood easily twice her size. This alone should have frightened her, but she felt no fear in her heart. He was her Emperor and she needed to have faith in him, not fear. He was handsome and had a great many dark features that would make him the classic cliche of 'tall, dark, and handsome' yet again this should send off another warning sign to her, but she ignored it, refusing to see bad in people. When Aldon made comment on her poultices she smiled brightly proud of her work. She couldn't help her eyebrow twitching slightly in annoyance at his undertone of disapproval or distrust of her poultices. She had studied a great many of years with her country's top herbalists to learn which mixes would be best and help best and his not trusting her or disapproving of her mixtures was disrespectful to not only her but her mentors. She shook it off and regained her composure as quickly as it had been broken. Opting to stand on the polar opposite side of him beside Kaiden. Noticing the Emperor watching her she smiled softly, dropping her eyes out of respect and curtsied once more. Rascal moved to sit in front of her as if guarding her from the newcomers. His massive size leaving his head right around her chest. She smiled fondly at him and pet him gently on his head.
Kaiden heard his older brother speak out his title along with his as he then bows his head toward the emperor as he then stood there straight, he can see the vibrations the sounds made as the ripples soon bounce off him to show is his shape form. The stories were true, he is much taller then his father which means he must be stronger buthan he still believes that his father has the same strength as the man standing before him.
Kaiden lifted his head up so the emperor can see his emotionless gaze but he slightly tilts his head to the side about this request the emperor spoke off but as Aldon spoke of Ambrosia, he felt eyes move in his direction as he move one foot back out of fear then he thougot to himself,"Relax Kaid..don't be afraid..show no fear.."

Seeing Aldon nod, Athena smiled slightly glad to be the voice of reason in a way. Though as they waited for the emperor to arrive she began biting her lip again, and when the giant of a man appeared she ducked a little further behind her eldest brother. Though she made certain to curtsy in respect should he still take notice of her since her name had been announced to the guard. Upon hearing the emperor speak about visiting their parents already she furrowed her brow and wondered what could have been requested, but as she listened to Aldon speak up she couldn't help frowning. Dummy you don't say something like that without the details of a request... She thought, not wishing to bring attention to herself just yet. Although she did peek out from behind Aldon after her had straightened up again.

Emperor Azazel raised an eyebrow as he looked at the Crown Prince of Zalto "I see..." he said, a little disappointed "Sadly I can not allow this as I promised your father that I would allow you and your siblings to talk it over." he said to Aldon, pausing for a moment before continuing "To put a long story into short words, Prince Aldon. I spoke with your father and mother about a proposal that has long since been unable to come to pass. I told your father that I would like for you and your sister to marry one of my sons and one of my daughters, but that is only my preference, I will be satisfied if only one of the Zalto children married one of my children...though I would prefer that either you, Aldon, take one of my daughters to wife and become the queen of Zalto or Athena to marry the Crown prince and future Emperor of Lionis. I would prefer both to happen, as said, but you may talk it over before such things happen...I gave your father three months to settle this..." Azazel would pause for a moment "and I...attempted to make it clear to your mother that this was not a request, and that by will or way a royal marriage between Zalto and Lionis will happen..." Azazel said, grimacing slightly "...she is very...Maternal" he muttered before looking over at Athena and Kaiden as the Doctor started to tend to them.
Azazel would then look back at Ambrosia "Miss Aleksei...? he said, a slight question in his voice "I am shocked...that a beauty like you has yet to be claimed as some ones wife." he said to her "You must not be a Lionis native...as you would have already been married to someone of great statue and I would have not had this honor" he said to her, feeling a strange thump in his chest that he had not experienced in a very long time. He would then move his hand to hers as he would lower his head and kiss the top of her knuckles gently, looking up into her eyes as he moved his head back up.
Kaiden flinched from the sudden touch from the doctor as he closed one eye as the doctor checked his head then he felt the emperor get closer to Ambrosia as he remained where he was but his heart was beating rapidly as he felt trapped with the emperor near by. Crys flaps her wings as she felt Kaiden's heartbeat as his eyes scanned like he was looking for some help but he had to stand his ground as he places his hand on Ambrosia's shoulder to make sure that she was there.
Aldon remained poised, the sweat on his forehead being the only example of his pain and blood loss. He listened intently to the Emperor as he spoke of the proposition/order. He had figured it was something along those lines. Since his previous engagement had failed to unite the lines as Rose had disappeared before they could be married. He looked around him at his siblings, their fear of this man so obvious to him. That mixed with his memories of how it felt to have no control over who he married made up his mind. Even if he was to not speak it today as time was allotted to his parents to make a decision. He nodded to his Emperor, "I see, and yes we shall discuss this and get back to you as hasty as possible. And I do apologize for mother. She can be rather protective..especially after last time..." he let his words drift off, almost all had heard of the story of him and Rose by now. He had spent a great deal of time searching for her and rescued her, only to get injured badly himself, then she disappears once more and this time is unable to be found and is presumed dead. These facts hurt him but he held composure. He looked straight at the Emperor, "But I can assure you we heard your will very clear and shall reply with much haste." As the Emperor addressed Ambrosia he rolled his eyes, he found nothing too spectacular about her. She spoke out of turn and seemed not to have much care in the world except for taking care of others. She had been oblivious to them being royals. How magnificent could she be?
Ambrosia watched the exchange, her eyes occasionally would drift to Kaiden and Athena making sure they were ok. An arranged marriage? Oh, those were never fun. Father had just discussed her meeting her suitors before the great volcano had erupted destroying most of them. Since then he had let it go for now. She hated the idea of not picking the person you were to spend the rest of your life with yourself. Love was sacred and was to be cherished not forced. She wanted so badly to speak up against it, but she could see the need for a combining of the families, if not to strengthen the bonds of the kingdoms and create unbreakable alliances, and it wasn't her place to speak up for them, It was royal business and the fact that she was able to hear of it was more than she should be privileged with. So for the time being she bit her tongue. Maybe if they were lucky they could choose which of the Emperor's children they would wed.
Shaking herself from her thoughts she saw the Emperor turn towards her once more and this time he addressed her. A softly blush brushed across her cheeks at his flattery. "Oh sire you do flatter me. It is true I am unwed. All my possible suitors killed by the flames of the great volcano." She smiled sweetly, "You are correct to assume I am not a native to this land, as beautiful as it is...I was born in Ethe, my father is the Mayor. It is a great honor to meet you. I am sure my father would do a flip if he found out of our meeting...after of course he'd make sure I did not say anything unflattering.." she said laughing lightly. When he bent down and kissed her knuckles her face turned a bright shade of red, not having experienced anything of the sort. She could not help but hold his gaze with her own as he did so. Her heart pounded inside her chest and she could practically feel the heat bouncing off of her cheeks. She kept his gaze as he stood straight again, most would consider this impolite or flirting but she could not let go of his gaze for the life of her. There was something in the darkest parts of his eyes crying to be released to be found. The man she saw in his eyes was different from the rumors and from the man who stood before her now. His power alone should frighten anyone, but she could not muster enough resolve inside her to have any ounce of fear for the man she saw shining in those eyes.
Slowly drawing her eyes from his she looked down. Feeling Kaiden's hand on her should she smiled softly and patted it gently. "It's alright I'm still here. I told you I'd be your strength. I did not leave you. Fear not my friend." she spoke softly to him smiling warmly as Rascal wound himself around their legs. She laughed lightly at this. Gesturing down to her feet she smiled proudly up at the Emperor, "Pardon me for losing my manners. This here at our feet is my beloved wolf, Rascal. And I feel I must formally introduce myself. I am Ambrosia Rania Aleksei, mayoral daughter of Ethe. It is once again a pleasure to meet you." she said as he smile got even brighter.

Athena breathed the softest of sighs as the emperor only glanced over her, slightly glad that he had practically ignored her. Though hearing that he wanted either herself or Aldon to marry one of his children had her heart sinking. Of course she knew they had time to discuss the matter with their parents, consider the emperor had just said as much, but it still didn't help the sting she had felt. Thankfully it seemed nothing more would be said on the matter as the giant of a man turned his attention to Ambrosia and finally addressed her. Though a quick glance at Kaiden had her wondering if he would be alright. Naturally the response she heard Aldon give had her rolling her eyes and temped to nudge him, but she refrained from it remembering her royal manners. "C-could you help me back on the horse Aldon? M-my ankle is hurting too much to stand at the moment." She whispered not wanting to speak out of turn, but speaking the truth about her ankle.

Emperor Azazel looked at Aldon and nodded his head "I am glad to hear that" he said to him before looking at Athena as he frowned "Lady Athena, I must insist that you take one of my houses healers with you on your journey back to Zalto, It seems as if you are all it bad shape and it would make me feel safer knowing that you had a physician to make sure none of you took ill along the way" he said to Athena before looking at Ambrosia once more and then down to her dog, Rascal "He is quite large for a dog. My daughter has one that is quite small, I've never known a girl to favor the larger breeds" he said to Ambrosia before looking back up at her eyes "Miss Aleksei, If I may ask as to how to came to travel with a company of Zalton Royalty? If you are to be somewhere I am sure I can help you to your destination" he said to her.
Kaiden felt he was being ignored even though he did not say anything nor was he addressed to speak but then he said,"Forgive me Emperor for speaking out of turn but I am sure it is not necessary to have one of your own house healers to accompany us, I have medical training so I am capable of taking care of Athena, its my brother that needs attention at the moment.." then he lightly grips Ambrosia's shoulder then he continues as he lifted his head up so the emperor can see his emotionless gaze,"I have accidentally stumble upon her as me, Athena and Aldon were on our way here.."
He then kept his mouth shut as he waited for his reply.
