Aaron stopped collecting food, and smiled at Anita, who happened to be in his area. "Would you like some wild strawberries?" he asked, trying not to sound threatening.

Steffychan19 Aaron smiled charmingly at the spirit. "Ahh, are these yours? I'm sorry, here. Allow me to take only a few, and I shall leave the rest with you." he said, trying to smooth talk his way out of trouble. (Sorry, I mustn't have made it very clear in the text. The overshoot meant that it was Aaron who looked like the spirit due to his over-eagerness. Anita's result meant she didn't panic when she saw the display, so I'd imagine Aaron would simply be a little flustered at his mistake)

(It's ok, it happens smile ) Aaron, slightly out of breath from overexertion, spoke way too fast to be understood properly. While he certainly didn't sound threatening, it was difficult to know what he was all about.

Anita blinked in surprised, "Eehhh. No thank you. I'd rather not accept strange fruit from strange men hiding in the grass." She waved her hands in front of her at him. "I'm not that kind of gal. Who are you though? Oh! Are you an adventurer?"

Anita...Overshoot!PhantomJavon "Eehhh. No thank you. I'd rather not accept strange fruit from strange men hiding in the grass." She waved her hands in front of her at him. "I'm not that kind of gal. Who are you though? Oh! Are you an adventurer?" (+1 to roll) Anita completely stonewalled Aaron as she spoke, giving the air of an utter lack of interest. Even more unfortunately, this worked to her disadvantage when she found an interest and seemed sarcastic as she asked questions of the mysterious man in front of her. Meanwhile...In the distance, there was a low rumble and the wind picked up menacingly.

Aaron blinked at the girl's reply, unsure of whether she was serious or sarcastic, then shrugged and smiled at her. "I am an adventurer, more or less. It runs in my family, really." he said.

Anita glanced around, kind of embarrassed about the way she expressed herself. Then she nodded at his reply, "Well that's cool, I've always wanted to be an adventurer. I guess that's why I'm out wandering around right now." While talking with him, she thought she felt something so she also tried to sense what was going on.

Aaron...Partial Success!Steffychan19 (I'm rolling to see if he notices the rumbling in the distance) Aaron's ears pricked up at a sound in the distance. It was a low rumbling noise. Could be...an explosion? Thunder? Monster attack? Ugh, if only he had another chance at hearing it... -1 to next roll!Anita...Perfect Success!PhantomJavon ...While talking with him, she thought she felt something so she also tried to sense what was going on. Anita heard the low rumbling in the distance very clearly. It was definitely thunder and, from the sound of it, it was getting closer. Though the sky was bright and relatively clear right now, it wouldn't be long until they were caught in the middle of a storm. +1 to next roll!Meanwhile...Anita's insight has granted this knowledge: Storm brewing in 3 rounds! 1/3

Aaron heard the rumble, but shrugged it off, unsure of what it was. "Ahh, well, being an adventurer isn't always what it's snuffed up to be. Especially since my father's explored most of the world, secret and not... And my mother has charted all of those areas." he said, sighing. "If only I inherited some of their greatness... Anyways, would you like some strawberries?" he asked.

Anita looked around in the sky, then looked back at Aaron again, "Yes, well, I think we should get out of the rain, don't you? It's better than braving it out and catching cold." Then she started to look around the field and edge of the forest, looking for a good enough place to take shelter from the impending storm, whether it be cave, tree cluster, or structure.

Anita...Success!PhantomJavon ...Then she started to look around the field and edge of the forest, looking for a good enough place to take shelter... (As you got a +1 to this roll) There wasn't much shelter in the field that Anita could see, but the nearby forest had plenty of branches, loose timber, etc and she realised she could easily and quickly make a quick lean-to if she had some help. It wouldn't be comfortable, but they could use it to ride out the storm. Meanwhile...The sky starts to get dark! 2/3

Anita looked back at Aaron and then rushed to the trees. She started to make a shelter out of the branches, leaves, and brush. She spoke back at him as the clouds made the sky dark, "Hey, wanna help make some shelter anyway? It seems like it might be pretty bad..."

Anita...Overshoot!PhantomJavon ...She started to make a shelter out of the branches, leaves, and brush... Anita set to work at a blinding pace, gathering resources and then putting them together. She built, rather than a lean-to, a tower! Actually, now that she looked at it, it looked more like a monument. How were they supposed to get in? Aaron...Epic Fail!Steffychan19 Aaron nodded and rushed over to her to help her build the shelter for the storm. "I'm sorry if I'm not that good at this.. It's been a while." he said. While Anita worked, Aaron was gathering his own resources to help out. He returned to find the monument and noticed immediately that there was no way in. Figuring his job would be to fix that, he began to tear at the makeshift structure to make a doorway. Crash! Aaron's teeth set on edge as he heard the noise. Looking up, he noticed that half the structure had collapsed. Meanwhile...The rain has begun! Prepare for the storm! 3/3
