Veronica Stevens Lucas frowned slightly as he stood aside and watched on as Veronica began messing with the kid again. He was the newest member of their group, hence why she had been so hard on him before. Deep down a part of him didn't believe she was right in bullying the other students, and especially not with how nice this kid seemed. He had heard all of the apologies he had given her, and the way he offered to help her up when he had accidentally caused her to fall over. Not to mention when he offered her some medical aid in case she had been hurt by the force he had used. And yet when she had caused him to bleed, she didn't even bat an eye. He was beginning to regret even joining the group. He didn't even share the same view they had about their race being superior. Lucas wished he could do something to stop her from bullying Brixos, but without risking his own safety, there really wasn't anything he could do about it. Even he stood no chance against her, especially not with the other vampires around. For some unknown reason they all seemed to be fiercely loyal and devoted to her.
Veronica frowned when she saw him look down. She preferred it when people made eye contact with her when they were talking, looking away like he did was just rude. Her mood quickly changed when she heard his response to her calling him Mutt, it actually made her chuckle. He really seemed insistent on getting her to say his name, which only said to her that he found her nickname for him annoying. "Mutt." She replied, while getting up and following him over to where his book was. His next comment made her chuckle yet again, but even louder the second time. "No? Really? You're so honest...How refreshing." She replied with a grin as she appeared in front of him and placed her foot firmly on top of his homework book, using her heel to push it into the dirt more. "Uh-uh, tell me what you were going to say first." Veronica demanded in a stern tone. She really hated it when people didn't finish what they were going to say, even if it was because they were afraid of upsetting her. She didn't care. She wasn't lying before when she said she found his honesty refreshing. It was a nice change from all the kissing up that people did to her. Sure, she liked being complimented just as much as the next girl, but not all the time, and especially not when people didn't really mean it. PonderingPenguin Alright. Well I shall wish you a goodnight then. Also I completely forgot about the whole sun thing, so cheers for that. Although I was thinking of Ronnie having a special necklace or something that keeps her protected outside of the school.

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC:Well me wanting to reply stopped me from going to sleep. Also she could probably have one but the school probably tries it's best to help out students weakness like they probably don't have any silver around or crosses)) The kid didn't really respond to him which left a awkward silence. Brixos just went back to doing his homework up until the point the girl from before showed up. He should probably get her name so he could stop referring to the girl as 'that girl' in his mind.
Apparently she was going to continue calling him mutt which was annoying. There really wasn't anyway for him to response to that. Even giving her a reaction was a bad way to go as she seemed to enjoy calling him mutt even more than before. "A pain....can you get your foot off my book. I don't see why you keep bothering me." Brixos finished his sentence from before seeing how she wanted him to. Should he attempt to move her leg probably not touching someone else isn't something he should do. "By the way what's your name? I never catched it don't want to be calling you anything derogatory by accident" Brixos couldn't help but saying he was a little annoyed she was messing up his homework that a snide remark left his mouth. Sort of making fun of the fact she was calling him mutt. "It seems you guys are going to be following me constantly so I would like to know all of your names" Brixos would say kindly with a small smile on his face. There was strange friendly aura Brixos always seem to send that made people want to make friends with him. That's how he was able to make good friends easily yet there were always people who would take advantage of his kindness so he learned to avoid those people as well. Even then he tried to be friends with them still in fact this wasn't the first time he was bullied. His first ever bully ended up becoming a dear friend maybe he could do the same with this one.

Veronica Stevens Veronica gasped in an overly dramatic manner, while placing a hand to her chest, over where her heart would be, almost as if she were hurt by what he had called her. "Your words cut me deep Mutt..." She whimpered jokingly, before erupting into laughter with the rest of the vampires. Lucas laughed as well, but not as enthusiastically as the others. As if something like that would really get to her. If anything, it was probably the nicest thing anyone other than her friends had ever called her and meant it. "Well, let's see. I keep bothering you because...I can. Because it amuses me, and because I want to." She replied with a shrug, she had never really thought about why she liked to tease people, she just did. Although there was probably more to it then that deep down, but she would never admit that to anyone. Ronnie glanced down to the book as he asked if she would remove her foot from it, and much to the other vampires' surprise, she did as he asked. She had said she would if he finished his sentence, and bully or not she was a girl of her word. In fact, she even went so far as to pick it up and dust it off. Not so she could hand it back to him however, but so she could have a look through it herself.
What she saw in it was rather surprising. This kid was really smart, probably one of the smartest students in the school, which explained why he had been given homework on his first day. "Wow, you really are a nerd." She mumbled as she finished flicking through the last pages, before dropping it to the ground again. Sure, she was going to let him have it back, but she wasn't going to just hand it to him. "So, where are you from anyway, Mutt?" The vampire asked as she slowly circled around him, running her eyes up and down his form. She had to admit, he was pretty cute...for a wolf anyway. She had completely ignored his request for her name, and seeing as she didn't answer him, neither did the other vampires, all except for one. "Names Lucas." Hearing this Ronnie paused, and looked to the male with a fierce glare. Just what the hell was the idiot doing? Then he took it even further, and offered the kid his hand to shake in greeting. Before Brixos would have a chance to accept his offer, the redhead quickly stepped in between them, grabbing onto Lucas' wrist, and giving it a firm squeeze, with enough strength to make him wince slightly from the pain. "What are you doing? We aren't here to make friends." She warned him sternly. She didn't have much of a problem with him stating his name, because she had already made that public back in the hall earlier that morning, and really it was only her own name that she scared whether he knew or not. It was the offer of the handshake that she had a problem with. PonderingPenguin Yeah that probably would make sense, given the type of school it is.

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC smile ) Brixos started to get a little annoyed at the girl shenanigans. Even if she hadn't been over dramatic the wolf boy would have noticed instantly she was just doing it to mock the fact that he had tried to help her before. Maybe he was overthinking that part one way or another she was just messing with him. When she explained her reason why she bothered him he knew it was just a facade there was most likely something that caused it. Maybe bullying when she was younger that was often the case with a bullied kid becoming a bully later on in life. "I see...um a simple leave me alone won't stop you will it?" Brixos would say as he wanted to start making friends but having them following her around was scaring people away. With just a small glance around he saw that everyone who had been outside had gone in without the bell even ringing. Just like during the morning that meant the girl had a reputation and it wasn't a very good one.
Brixos was a little surprised she had done what she asked. Expecting her to just step it on it even more however when he reached over she just started to read it. Then she threw it to the ground. "I wouldn't use the word nerd but I guess I am" Brixos would say picking up his book from the floor and putting it in his back so she couldn't just snatch it away again. Now she was asking a personal question. Looking a little nervous he answered. "Just a small town called Grey Maple Leaf" The reason it was called that was there were many grey werewolves and maple trees around the town. Then she started to circle him which sent strong impulses for him to defend himself. Probably considering that's what wolves did when closing in on their prey so having it done on him made his instincts react. Brixos crouched slightly his body becoming tense. Then one of the vampires actually greeted himself which put a bigger smile on his face seeming a bit relaxed as he moved to shake his hand only to be stopped by the girl. Not only that she started to hurt her friend which made him growl. "He is your friend! Why are you hurting him?" Brixos seemed angry for the first time she had met him.

Veronica Stevens Veronica turned her head to look back at Brixos when she heard his growl. It was interesting to see that he would get mad over her hurting one of the vampires that had been apart of bullying him in the first place. Seeing this, for some reason, only made her want to hurt Lucas even more. She enjoyed seeing the Mutt get angry, and she wondered how far she could push him. "Well that's what I thought too, I thought he was my friend. But it seems he would rather be your friend instead." She replied while turning her gaze back to Lucas. "Is that true Lucas? Would you rather be this stinkin' Mutt's friend?!" She snapped, her voice getting progressively louder and more harsh as she spoke. Her hand squeezing even tighter around his wrist, causing the male vampire to wince even more, but he didn't try to pull away. He knew that would only cause him more pain. "I'm done being bossed around by you, I don't want to be a bully like you anymore, Ronnie. Why can't you just leave him alone!?" He cried out, the pain was becoming too much for him to handle. Hearing him speak her name, or nickname, did cause her to let go of his wrist, but only to end up kicking him square in the gut with the heel of her shoe, knocking him back into the waiting arms of two other vampires.
The redhead rolled her sleeves up and cracked her knuckles a couple of times, while pacing back and forth in front of the retrained vampire. Lucas knew what was coming to him, but he was prepared the take the beating. Even if he wasn't, he was practically defenseless with the other two vampires holding his arms so he couldn't move. "You know you brought this on yourself Lucas." She stated while stepping forward to take a shot at his face. The question was, would her fist connect, or would the werewolf intervene?

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC smile ) Brixos saw a look on the girls face that told him that she was going to continue especially since he showed some sort of reaction which he had been trying his best not to show. Seeing Veronica harming Lucas made him even more furious but he couldn't let himself get too mad or he might lose control. Then he would find himself hurting everyone which was the worst possible scenario. Then Lucas said he didn't want to be bully anymore which put a smile on his face, turning people good always made him feel happy. He also got the name of the girl Ronnie. The smile disappeared to see the boy who was trying to stand up for him get harm. This always happen except the kid had no chance unlike his old friends and he was just getting a straight up beating. "Please stop" Brixos would say whimpering a bit his anger turned fear for what would happen to the kid.
There was many actions he could have taken to stop the kid from being harmed. Push Ronnie down, grab Ronnie's hand, push Lucas away, or try to get the vampires off of Lucas so he can get away. Instead he body blocked the fist. While it looked like he had just ran in front of the fist he actually diverted the punch to the side to make sure the momentum didn't make him hit Lucas. Didn't stop him from being sent flying across the ground. Slowly standing up Brixos had a cut under his eye and probably a bruise as well. "I'm sorry Lucas...I shouldn't have got you in that position...just apologize you don't need a.....stinkin' mutt as a friend" Brixos looked down as he felt a few tears starting to run down his face. "Robbie don't hurt him....i'll do anything just don't hurt him" If he had gotten the vampire in that position it was his duty to get him out even if it meant harming himself.

Veronica Stevens Veronica felt her fist connect, but it wasn't with Lucas' face, it was the Mutt's! How interesting. So he had intervened, just like she expected, only not in the way she was expecting. She was honestly prepared to be thrown back, pushed down, or just being attacked in general. Otherwise she would have expected him to try and stop her by catching her fist, though doing that would still have hurt Lucas by having the wolf knocked back into him from the impact of the punch. Instead, Brixos had decided to take the punch himself. This pleased her greatly. True, she had been aiming for Lucas, but hitting either of them would be good enough for her. It seemed she had made him bleed again as well as the scent of blood filled the air once more. There was even some traces of blood on her knuckles. Ronnie gave a delighted hum as she licked the blood off of her clenched fingers. Even werewolf blood was satisfying to a vampire. "Ooh~ I do like the sound of your begging, Mutt." Veronica chuckled as she slowly stalked over to him. "Do it again. But on your knees, like the dog you are." She demanded, while taking one hand and cupping it under his chin to lift his face. Seeing the tears running down his face, fed her amusement even more. "If you do, then I promise, I won't lay another finger on him." She said in a sickly sweet tone, with an almost sincere smile on her face.
Meanwhile Lucas was straining to get free from the vampires that were restraining him. "Just get out of here kid. Don't worry about me, just run!" He pleaded, not wanting to see the boy get hurt either. "Aww, this is just so sweet. I swear this could almost break my heart...You two are just perfect for eachother." Veronica taunted while glancing between the two them. Using the hand that was cupping Brixos' face, she turned his head so he could see Lucas. "So what are you going to do, Mutt? Save yourself, or save this traitor?" PonderingPenguin I feel so bad playing this character. xD

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC:Yeah I kind of )) Brixos noticed her lick the blood on her knuckles it would be weird if it weren't for the fact she was a vampire....actually it was still weird. Footsteps headed his way as he didn't have time to look up to see who it was however when his face was cupped he saw Ronnie. She seemed to be happy about him crying and being in pain. When she gave a proposal of what to do so the other guy wouldn't be harmed he stayed quiet. His parents always told him to be proud about who he was and being on his knees begging undermined that.
Suddenly the guy told him to not and run away and Ronnie used that to mess with them both. Given the choice to save himself or the guy he got on his knees and said. "Please don't hurt Lucas I will do anything....I beg of you" Brixos said swallowing up his pride.

Veronica Stevens Veronica took note of his hesitation, and began to wonder whether or not he would go through with her demand or not. "What's the matter? Do you need some more persuasion?" She asked, while signalling for one of her friends to take a swing at Lucas. Right before they were about to however, the werewolf got down on his knees and began to beg. Honestly, she hadn't expect it to happen, at least not that easily. She knew his kind could be quite proud creatures, which only made it more satisfying to watch. "That's a good boy~" She taunted in the same patronizing manner that she had done earlier that day, as well as giving him a pat on the head. "Now, as I promised, I won't lay another finger on him." Even though she had gotten what she wanted from him, she didn't stop the vampire from hitting Lucas. The promise she had made was that she wouldn't lay a finger on him, but she had never said anything about the others. The rest of the vampires in the gang each took a turn hitting or kicking Lucas at least once, before Ronnie finally signaled for them to stop and leave him be. He was free to go, but after the beating he had received, he wasn't in any condition to move. PonderingPenguin Wasn't really happy with my post, so I wanted to change it. Hope you don't mind.

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC:That's fine)) Brixos was glad he responded fast enough where the persuasion wasn't needed. Looking to see if Lucas was still fine when he notice the vampires starting to beat him up. Why? They were friends and he kept part of his deal feeling a patronizing pat on the head and being called a good boy made him continue looking down on the ground. A growl coming from him when heard Lucas groaning in pain. Slowly a wolf tail appeared as his wolf ears also appeared. Brixos had yet to learn how to control himself in his wolf form and angering him was an easy way to make him turn. Yet he stopped himself he had to keep calm fighting everyone won't make Lucas better he had to get his backpack and treat him.
Looking around slightly he saw his backpack it was hard to tell where exactly it was with the blood covering up part of his eye. It seemed like Ronnie wanted him to keep his end of the bargain even if she didn't keep hers. Well she did as she didn't harm him but she asked everyone to do so. However if he started to rebel even more that would make things worse for Lucas. "I am going to fix Lucas up first" Brixos said and walked grabbing his backpack bringing it over to Lucas. Fixing up his wounds bandaging his cut and putting some cream over his bruises. It seemed like the werewolf was very prepared for everything. Seeing his buddy all patched up made him happy his tail started to wag apparently it hadn't disappeared like his ears had when he calmed down.

Veronica Stevens Veronica tensed slightly when she heard the growl and saw a pair of ears and a tail appear. It looked like he was about to turn, which wouldn't be a very good thing. She was sure the group could handle it, but they had never actually come across an enraged werewolf before, so there was no way of guaranteeing it. Thankfully it appeared that he had managed to keep himself calm, and his ears disappeared again. That was close, perhaps a little too close. Ronnie would have to be careful next time. It was still pretty amusing to see how far she had pushed him though, and what was even more amusing was the fact that his tail was still hanging out. As soon as she saw it, she couldn't help but giggle at it, causing the rest of the group to look over to see what she was laughing at. As soon as they saw it, the other vampires began chuckling too as they watched him get up up to grab his backpack so he could go tend to Lucas' wounds.
It was a little odd for him to be carrying around so many medical supplies. It was almost like he was expecting to get bullied or something. Obviously he had been bullied before. So that's probably why he was a little more gutsy than her previous victims. The way he had answered her back before had really gotten on her nerves at first, but now she found that it actually made things more interesting. Ronnie loved a good challenge, and that's what Brixos gave her. Which is why she was so intent on targeting him. That probably wasn't such a great thing for him, and the more confident he got the more she was likely to go after him, just to prove how much tougher she was. The wimpy kids who cried and ran away, were only fun for a little while, and she got bored of them easily. Unfortunately for Brixos, that didn't seem like it was ever going to happen. PonderingPenguin Sorry for the re-quotes, and I know this post isn't exactly much better because it isn't very interactive, but I really have no idea what to post right now. >.<

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC smile ) Upon hearing the laughter of the vampires he tilted his head to the side to see them looking at him while laughing. It took a few seconds when he realized that his tail was still out. A blush spread across his face as he tried to cover his tail and blush. None were covered well the rosy cheeks were slightly covered by his dried up blood. If he wanted to he could just say it was a blood and not a blush which was what he would do seeing how they seemed to enjoy bothering him this would only make things worse.
Then the bell rang which meant he was free from the girl at least for a while until school was over and he had to do what she wanted. "I need to get my class" Brixos said as an excuse to grab his back pack and leave them. Taking a quick glance backwards to make sure that Lucas was fine by the time he went back inside. In a hurry he went off to his exercise class not bothering to bandage his eyes as he just wanted to get as far away as he could from Robbie. Never had he thought she was such a psycho/obsessive.
The stories of the teacher being extreme weren't a lie. The teacher didn't even care about his injury and only told him to make a mess in the gym. Giving a nod he felt a little unappreciated of cared for. Maybe he should try to make a friend. "Alright everyone listen up! Starting off this school year we are having a tournament to see which of you weaklings are the strongest. Every day we will be having fighting one on one and people who are eliminated get water thrown to their face does everyone have that clear!" When he got no response he yelled loudly. "IS THAT CLEAR!" This time everyone replied with a 'Yes sir'. "The brackets are on the basketball post"

PonderingPenguin On my phone at the moment. I will fix my post later. The laughter only got louder as Brixos tried to hide his tail. Veronica saw what she thought was a blush on his face, but with all the blood it was hard to tell. Either way, he was all flustered and embarrassed and it was fun to watch. The vampires continued laughing until he was gone from sight, all except for Lucas of course. Before Ronnie and her gang left to go to class, she made her way over to the beaten vampire and crouched down next to his head. "You're to stay away from the Mutt and stay out of my way. If you ever get involved again, you won't get away so lucky." She whispered before standing up to her full height again. Then she, along with the rest of the group started making their way back inside, leaving Lucas laying on the ground all alone. Veronica and her gang made it in class just in time to hear the teacher making an announcement about the fighting tournaments. Unlike most students, the redhead actually looked forward to this class. She had been the winner of the tournament for two years in a row, and she didn't plan on losing her champion title. "Oh, this is going to be fun..." She muttered with a chuckle when she laid eyes on the Mutt from across the room.

Brixos Bartholomew ((OCC:That's fine I'm going to sleep after this post)) Brixos wished his nose had been punched instead as the scent of Ronnie was in the air again. From left to right he made sure to remember everyone's face before seeing her across the room. Happy that they were a room apart but upset they weren't further apart. The smile on her face kind of told him she liked the fighting and why wouldn't she? She already enjoyed hurting others and hurting people tougher were probably a thrill to her. Funny enough Ronnie was still not the worst part of the tournament the worst part was the tournament itself. Brixos wasn't one to fight people even if it's joking around or for fun. Yet his grade was on the line also he didn't want water thrown at his face.
Everyone had to do their first round for today then they could go on doing whatever they wanted. Seeing the bracket he couldn't find the name Ronnie anywhere on the bracket so he couldn't tell how close she was. The first one wasn't her it a lamia who seemed very keen in fighting. Having everyone looking at him made him feel nervous yet the lamia was so filled with spirit just by being the center of attention. Maybe he could win without harming her. Subduing should be fine. A small bell would be rang and the lamia wasted no time as she slithered towards Brixos wrapping around his leg. His eyes widen as he quickly moved away. In a few seconds he was able to find out how to subdue her. When she slithered towards him he grabbed her by the tail and lifted her up. By holding her tail and lifting it up high she would lose any mobility she had and she wouldn't be able to constrict around him. Not that the girl stopped trying but Brixos dodged each attack for someone his size he was pretty strong as the lamia weighed at least 280 pounds.

Veronica and her enterauge made their way over to the brackets to see who she would be paired up with for her first fight. She was a little disappointed at who it was. Some shapeshifter, how exciting. Their only power was turning into some useless animal, they would be no match for her. Unfortunately she would have to wait a while for her fight, but at least she could amuse herself by watching the other contestants. First up was Brixos versus a lamia. She watched on with great interest as the serpent like creature tried to coil around him. It she could get a good grip on him then the match would be as good as over. This worried Ronnie slightly. She didnt want the Mutt to be taken out before she got a chance to fight him. The tables quickly shifted however, when Brixos made a quick escape before the lamia could finish it's coil and thinking fast grabbed a hold of its tail. By holding it up in the air, he made it practically impossible for it to get a hold of him again.
