Her attacks were meeting nothing but air as the General continued to teleport away from her, a bid to maintain distance as she went on the offensive. She was up every morning, at the a** crack of dawn, pounding the pavement. Endurance, stamina, speed. It wasn't just for her career. Not for herself alone, but for them. For those she protected. For those she sought to destroy or steal.

"I will not!" Was he crazy? He had to be. "Raise your weapon, defend yourself accordingly." Stop running away.. "Face the consequences of your actions."

He accused her of lapsed judgement, but it hadn't been her that had struck a dog that didn't belong to her. And for what? Little more than annoying barking. "Whatever your opinions of what we are, or what this organization stands for, let me make something painfully clear to you." Again she charged, pavement cracking beneath the toe of her boot with the force of it. He was mid range, and she would adjust accordingly. Come in low, from the side, a left handed blow aimed for the meat of his body.

"I will kill to protect my people," she sneaked it as she swung again, right fist this time, higher. "And not you." Again. MIndful of the polearm, ready. "Not even the b***h, will dissuade me.

"And that's more than I can say for you!" Did he even care that having her starseed ripped out by an inexperienced lieutenant could have killed his agent?

For a split second he kind of blacked out a bit. Everything hurt. It was bullshit the things they were saying, all of it sounded crazy. Natrolite was becoming more and more concerned about the choices he had made, which was rare for a man like him. Blues lifted to watch as Xenotime went after Leucite, they were certainly a sight to behold.

He wanted that power for himself.

But not the responsibility and work that came with it.

As Leucite teleported away he settled against the wall. A hand coming up to rub against his cheek slowly. To Xenotime a call came, "....can we go home now?" He felt like s**t and it was getting harder to stand without tearing up. But had no doubts he was about to get an earful on the way home if not hit again.
