"No. I've just realized I'm out of an herb and have to gather it. I know where a patch is, but I have to pack up so I don't get stolen from." Not that she didn't trust the other girl. Well, she didn't, but she didn't seem like the type of person to steal or lie. At least... not yet.

"I didn't mean to burn you, either. I just don't like going to places that sell alcohol unless I absolutely have to. People are rowdy, lewd, annoying, and tend to grab me. I even try to avoid inns that stay open all night." If they stayed open all night it meant rowdy men and their gross stories about hunting or whoever they bedded last and that's just not something she was about. "So I do apologize if you felt slighted in the least bit. I was just trying to politely decline...."

Now the Leaf girl looked a little worried. Had she insulted Ujana? She wasn't exactly great with her people skills, but she hadn't thought she was that bad...

The look San'thari wanted to give was flat and unamused. What happened was she flushed and ducked her head and looked back at the ingredients and the list before her. How could she respond to such flirtations when she was not sure what to do?

Then the other started talking again and San looked up. She opened her mouth and then closed it once she realized she didn't know what to say. Green eyes closed, her head shook and then in a resigned sort of way, she shrugged. "I suppose you're right," she stated after a minute. Asking for and accepting help wasn't something she did a lot. Independence was very important to her. However, even San'thari couldn't do everything alone.

"Just... get the herbs I point out, roots and all. The roots are important too."

San'thari shifted, starting to pack things up. "No, when it's all packed up it's just a blanket and herbs and jars that'll fit in my basket." And her hands were busy doing that. It was automatic work. A cover went over the pestle, jars went in their proper spaces, herbs went back in little bags. The blanket was the last thing and it went on top to protect everything. She carefully tucked the sides in and then dusted herself off.

With the basket firmly in the crook of her right arm, San'thari looked at Ujana and shrugged. "Let's go then."
