Sunny Shore: 25/25, speaking to Chel Sunny reaches up and puts her hand over Chel's, leaving her mask on. "Yeah," she says, "so leave yours on, okay? Once it's off it won't go back on."

Chel | 25/25 | Talking to Sunny
"The ******** that mean? Like I become a ... a werewolf?" Chel's experience with Other Asdown was limited by what vague descriptions Shun gave, America's limited explanation of magic and her own personal power.
If you could call double pistol winky face-ing a power.
Regardless, the mask stayed on. For now.

Chel | 25/25 | Talking to Sunny
"Y'know, if y'all prissy fairy people started bein' more straightforward there'd be less problems on our end," she said, rolling her eyes with a good natured smile. "C'mon I know you know more than yer lettin' on. Ain't gonna help none if you don't tell us nothin'."

Sunny Shore: 25/25, speaking to Chel Sunny relents, a little. "It's not something that's talked about," she says, lowering her voice so only Chel can hear. "Those without masks are potential tithes. That's why no one comes without a mask."

Chel | 25/25 | Talking to Sunny
If Chel was being really honest, she had no clue what the ******** the word tithe meant.
But she also couldn't look stupid in front of a pretty lady. "Ah. Heard you loud an' clear. But why they gotta sack someone?"

"Bruh don't be actin' like you ain't hear the cat's be like someone's gonna be a victim oooh."
She added wiggly fingers for emphasis that came up to tap Sunny's cheek a few times in a playful way.
Having finally reached a place to sit down, Chel gestured that Sunny sit where she'd like. Lady's first after all. "But I get f'it's heavy t'talk about right off the bat. We all just came t'have a good time yeah?"

connor hill - 25/25 - speaking to the eldritch gentlemenConnor was getting nowhere, fast, which he felt was emphasized well by the way the guy he was talking to narrowed his eyes and looked down at him like he was digging himself a fine hole. Over his shoulder, he could hear Chel conversing with the bird's nest lady, but wasn't really paying close attention to their convo, and even less so once Chel began to steer Sunny away. "Right. No meddling. Got it." He replied, pretty much deciding to just drop the facade since it wasn't gaining him any ground. "I was just curious. Honest. I really don't know much about this whole ******** thing." With the drop in his facade came his more colorful language making a reappearance, though he was still holding back quite a bit. "If you could maybe just school me on what tonight is really all about, I'd really appreciate it, man."

Eldritch Gentleman | 25/25 | Judging Chel and speaking to ConnorThe gentleman paused for a moment, leveling his gaze across the room at Chel. His green eyes looked suddenly icy behind his death mask. "Ru҉d̕e͜," he pronounced, and then turned back to Connor. "T̕on̸i̵ght̀ ̢w̵ill̨ ̧d̵èt͘er̸m͠ine̴ t͘hȩ ͠m̧eth̵od ̧o͡f̸ t͢h͝e̢ E͏n͟em̷y's͏ v̡icto͏ry," he said, which was perhaps a more cosmic-scaled answer than Connor had been hoping for. Chiickadee Chel will receive -1 to all future rolls interacting with the Eldritch Gentleman due to rudeness.

connor hill - 25/25 - speaking to eldritch gentlemen Well that was certainly something. Or was it? Connor wasn't even sure he was hearing the gentlemen correctly, that voice having a weird way of just...he didn't even know how to describe it, but there was definite hardcore shudder suppression going on. "Enemy?" He asked, frowning, though if he was asking who that was or just clarifying that that was what he'd heard was up to interpretation. Finally, Connor's gaze slid down, noting the empty plate in the gentlemen's hands. "What's with the---Oh, uh, s**t. Am I keeping you from eating?" Observant he was, apparently, not.

The Eldritch Gentleman | 25/25 | Speaking to Connor The gentleman's eyes narrowed suspiciously behind his mask, and he said no more about the Enemy - perhaps, in his mind, he'd already said too much? It was impossible to know for certain, as inscrutable as he was. "I ͘a̡m ͝ẁa͞i̷t̡inģ for ͘my p̶la̧te͘ ́t́ǫ ͠be ҉f̢i͡l̶le̢d̶," he said. Seussi The Eldritch Gentleman has offered you a task! If you accept, please proceed to the Favor thread. It seems that you will be unlikely to pry further information from him at this time if you do not do something for him first...

Sunny Shore: 25/25, talking to Chel "I didn't. Technically. I've been here for hours." She sighs, she shrugs, and she takes a plate from the pile to pick at the food. "I'm here in case things go wrong," she says. "If one of you gets really badly hurt. Or if a lot of you do. Sort of a safety net. You should try the chocolate-dusted steak, it's really good."

Nathaniel Parrish - 25 / 25 - sidling up to the Eldritch Gentleman
At least he wasn't on fire.
Nathaniel carefully made his way across the room towards the gentleman in the red mask, making sure to avoid knocking into anyone. He didn't seem quite as intimidating as the man with all the flames, especially considering all of the pale greens - but there was no accounting for first impressions.
Maybe he was something other than a human.
Maybe he was actually a demon (did demons even exist?).
Maybe he was secretly a hipster.
Nathaniel politely decided not to inquire.
"Hello," he said instead, offering a friendly smile. "How are you this evening?"
