- THWACK
He heard someone talking, the blueblood maybe? Someone who wasn't Autumn. The word "Superiours" rang in his ears, he felt his hand squeeze Autumn's hand, or had she squeezed his? And then the loud clatter as the broom hit the ground. Tears threatened to flow, but the brownblood put a hand up to keep them from flowing. He looked up at the blueblood, at all her hate and anger, and he heard a voice shout out.
- "NO"
The single word rang out, and the boy looked back and forth to find out where it had come from. His eyes fell on Autumn's face, and his heart seemed to freeze. He had just wanted to go out with her, show her a good time, get to know the amazing girl some more. His eyes locked onto hers, his head throbbed from where he was hit, and without fully realizing it, the boy stood up, butterflies materialized around the two lowbloods, as all of Caiden's admiration for the butterfly troll came forth. He pulled Autumn up into his arms, hand still grasping hers, the other hand holding her waist. The butterflies swarmed the room, making it almost impossible to see the troll next to you. The back door to the cafe slammed shut, and the butterflies dissipated, leaving a mess on the floor, next to a fallen broom, and no lowbloods.
