Chrysocolla swallowed hard, forcibly schooled her shoulders down to a height that didn't look like she was drowning in her own anxiety, and decided to speak before everyone else did and she was the last one to introduce herself and she'd look awful.
"Eternal Sailor Chrysocolla," she smiled meekly from her place in the corner, and tried to look confident. "I think I could be a lot more useful to the Negaverse by being part of a branch, so...this is my first part of, um...trying that."

When the request was made, the first thought that came to Raspite's mind was 'School' s**t, this really was going to be like a normal class, glorious. He had a moment to think about the last time he had attended a class like this. It had been one of the reasons he had dropped out. Too much random fluffy bullshit and not enough stimulation for a growing mind. He had learned so very much more on the streets. He watched as the others stood and gave their little speeches, he chuckling now and then at the formality behind so many of them. Military, he could see it in some. As the attention turned to him, he slowly rose to his feet, his long, wavy, hair falling over his shoulder in a heavy mass. He turned his head to each gathered, giving a firm nod before speaking. He wanted them to know he saw them all as equals, and he would respect each by giving them his eyes. "Lieutenant Raspite, present and pleased to be here with so many other willing and able looking comrades." He began, his smile twisting onto his face as he look to the two in charge, one after the other. "I come to this meeting to gain connections, knowledge, and to increase the skills that I already started to acquire through this organization." He gave a gentle chuckle before nodding "I thank you all for your time." With that said he returned to his seat, crossing his ankles and relaxing back into his seat.

Arseno watched all of the others introduce themselves before them. Some he had seen before such as his general, some had not, but either way he hoped to gain more knowledge not only on how to be an agent but of the Negaverse itself.
He seemed to be one of the last ones to introduce himself, but he was trying to remember all of their names. He probably should have brought some paper with him too rather than just the pen.
Oh well. He thought as he realized that he was up next. Standing up he gave his little speech. “Lieutenant Arsenopyrite and I came here not only to be a better officer, but also to learn about the Negaverse itself as much as I can so that I may do a better job at being an agent.” And with that he sat back down.

That looked to be all the introductions, though his eyes did linger on Leifite and Valeria for a moment longer than the others. He did not say anything to either of the two's tardiness, or at the very least, he did say anything while everyone made their introductions. Once Arsenopyrite sat back down, Leucite cleared his throat again. "In the future, I expect everyone to be on time and in their seats before the class starts. I don't care much for excuses. You are here on time or you are not. As I was saying earlier, everyone in this room is a part of a team. If one of us fails to be at a place at our appointed time, a plan can fail, our teammates could be put in greater danger. Keep that in mind." Leucite finally said before turning to the table and picking up an angular piece of purple crystal. "Thank you all, for your introductions," Leucite said with a small smile. "It is good to get to know your teammates. I encourage all of you to speak with each other after these classes, work with one another. Get to know each other. Patrol together... It is important to know who you can trust." "But, now onto why we are here. As I said at the start of the class, this will be a refresher for some. This is after all, a fundamentals course. We will be covering the very, very basics of what it means to be an Officer in the Negaverse. To that end, I have gathered a few things that you will all need to become familiar with." He continued, holding the crystal up for everyone to see. "This is a crystal from the Rift, they all can have some interesting properties, but this one is one we commonly use in large scale energy gathering operations. It's purpose is simple..." As he spoke, Lecuite moved over to Valeria and placed the crystal against her skin. The Crystal began to dimly glow as it drained the energy from the corrupted senshi. Once he had gathered enough to give the Crystal a dim, almost purple glow, he pulled it away from her, and held it up for all to see. "As you can see, it functions well enough. However, we do not tend to use these unless we have a lot of energy to gather, or a lot of people to gather it from..." Moving back to the table, he placed the crystal down, and picked up the small glowing orb that sat near it on the table. "In most cases you will be dealing with energy on this scale..." Leucite said, holding the glowing orb up as well. "This energy I gathered before the class..." He said, before placing it back down onto the table. He pulled away from the table, and walked over to Leifite. "We will hold a practical energy gathering course later, but, this too, is not a difficult task." He placed his hand lightly on Leifite's chest, and in short order, removed it with a much smaller orb of glowing energy in his hand. "Energy can be renewed, of course, that is why we are able to gather as much of it as we can. After a good nights rest, usually, a fully drained adult human will recover their stockpile. For some the recovery takes a little longer, but in general, you should not be afraid of pulling as much energy as you can when the need arises." Walking back to the table, he placed the smaller orb next to the larger, and finally moved to the box. "Now, then..." He said, his voice taking on a slightly more... serious tone. "Last, but certainly far from least..." His fingers gripped the black cloth covering the box, and he pulled it away from the container. Then reaching in very gently, he lifted a freshly harvested starseed from the box. "This, is a starseed. It is the whole of a person's being... essentially their soul." His grip on the thing was gentle as he spoke, his hand perfectly steady as he let the class observe. "Once removed, if not given proper medical attention a person will die very quickly. Metallia has granted us the power to remove theses starseeds from others. This is perhaps the most important task of any Negaverse officer." All levity was gone from his face. "That said, I advise all of you to avoid pulling starseeds from your average civilian. We are here to protect the people, not cause them more suffering. My personal prey of choice are those the law refuses to touch... Drug dealers and the like. I advise you to chose similar targets...." "One further word of caution..." Leucite continued, his grip on the starseed still as light as if he were handling a fine piece of china. "Starseeds are extremely fragile... Grip them too hard, and they will crack or shatter, rendering them useless to us. Be extremely careful when pulling them. If you are attempting to pull one from a knight or a senshi, be advised to look for their allies before you do so, the last thing you want to do is be interrupted while your pulling a starseed." Turning once more, he placed the starseed back in the box and covered it with the cloth. "Should you wish to practice your hand at pulling starseeds, I am always available to tutor anyone interested on a one-on-one basis. Lt. Stibnite is also fairly practiced at it, should you desire to work with her as well." Turning back to the class, he once again gave a small smile. "Any questions so far?" The sight of the energy draining was simply facinating! Calomel had no idea such a thing was possible, or that it looked as it did. Yes, when she joined, there was the mention of energy draining as being one of the tasks she would be required to do, but honestly, alot of what she had seen just seemed like some sort of weird fantasy cult like organization. But it was real. It was really real. But with all this talk of energy.. Calomel raised her hand, and once acknowledged, she stood up to speak her question. "Sir, this is simply facinating. I must ask, however, what becomes of the energy collected? For what use are we collecting the energy from these beings? Also, can we collect energy from animals? Could a creature or a person potentially die from too much draining? And do animals have star seeds as well?" She had so many questions in regards to the process, but for now, those were her main ones.

Before her General could speak, Stibnite pushed off the wall and began walking towards the front of the classroom. There was a point in the answer to that question she wanted to avoid Leucite going into. His personal beliefs were not needed right now. "The collected energy is presented to Metallia for the continued ability to fuel our powers." She smiled, reaching down to pick up the small orb of energy that had been taken in a demonstration. "We provide 'her' with energy and she continues to grow more powerful in return, we keep our abilities. This is a task expected of every one of us in the Negaverse." She gazed down at the energy for a moment. "Those of us who are still Lieutenants must be careful. Physical contact, as General Leucite showed, is required to drain energy. A target fighting you makes that very difficult. I would be happy to show any of you how I go about things at some point." Her eyes then shifted onto Calomel. It was hard to say if she was happy with the questions or annoyed. Stibnite was not an easy one to read with that hood over her eyes. "Your other questions are both simple and...not. Yes, a person can die from too much draining. It is a mistake many make until you learn the signs. Always better to start out taking less energy from more people than trying to collect it all from one. Unneeded Death totals are something we should avoid." The smile on her face though was a bit...dark. Placing the orb back on the table, Stibnite now uncovered and reached for the starseed. "Think of this as the human soul. Our powers allow us to access human souls and energy. If animals do have starseeds, we are not able to pull from them. You should plan to focus on humans alone." Her hand held up the starseed to allow them all to see it clearly once more. "I do hope that answered those questions?" Stibnite smiled back towards Calomel before gazing around the room. "A word to the wise though. Starseeds have many benefits and that come at great costs. But I believe we will save that for another time."

The young lieutenant watched as the General demonstrated each method of taking energy. It was certainly interesting to watch the process, though he had learned through trial and error how to take that energy and keep it safe until he could return to the Negaverse with it. Every human that he took energy from was a needed gift. He did not take needlessly, and he was certain to thank those for the sacrifice that they gave to him. He had even been known to kneel over the slumbering bodies of his victims and whisper a soft blessing before leaving their sides. He watched Stibnite as she answered question after question. At least she was to the point, leaving things free of dogma for the time being. He sat back in his seat, crossing his ankles in the opposing direction before stretching back, his arms behind his head. He could not think of a question at this time, perhaps one wold cross his mind later.

Well, he had learned a bit. He certainly hadn't known what the energy collection was going towards, though he did wonder why Metallia needed it. Perhaps it was the way to distribute powers? He didn't know but it seemed to be an exchange of some sorts.
He was intrigued by the fact that starseeds, if they were in animals, couldn't be pulled. It meant they weren't going to target innocent animals for energy needs. Though he hoped they had one, he would rather believe that they had a soul.
Did he have any questions right now though that he felt the need to ask? So far he couldn't think of anything. Hopefully if he did think of one he could ask it later.

Reinerite had listened as the others had given their introductions, doing her best to mentally take note of all the names given.
She had made a note at the woman who had given her name as Stibnite's offer for one on one lessons on fighting as it was one of the thing's that she was looking to get better at.
She had also watched very carefully as Leucite gave a practical demonstration on how to energy drain.
The method of collecting energy orbs had been one that she was familiar with and one that she utilised when collecting her quota, however the crystal that he had picked up from the table had been unfamiliar.
And then grey eyes had widened slightly as Leucite had revealed the object that had been hidden in the cloth-covered box because Reinerite had never seen anything like it - and it was beautiful.
She listened as Leucite gave his explanation, carefully noting the name - starseed - as well the fact the careful way that he was handling it.
Listened as he explained that once removed, then the person it was taken from would need medical attention, otherwise they would die...
She looked up from the notes she had jotted down and for a moment she considered asking a question, but then the woman sitting near her - Renerite remembered her giving her name as Calomel - raised her hand and asked about the purpose of energy draining.
It was something that she had been curious about too and so she listened as Stibnite answered it, a part of her glad that she was already taking the approach to take a little bit from different people rather than trying to focus her efforts on just one person.
Stibnite had also answered the other questions that she had thought up and it didn't make sense to ask a question that had already been answered and so Reinerite decided to hold off on asking anything - at least for now.

As Stibnite moved to the front of the room, Leucite allowed himself a small smile. That was her warning for him to keep the dogma to... the lowest possible level. She knew how quickly this could go from a lesson to a sermon. He had done well in keeping his dogma out of conversation with her, but she would know better than anyone how quickly he could flip that switch. She had seen him do it on more than one occasion. So to that end. When it seemed that the questions had died down a tad, he moved away from the table and back to the white board. Erasing the board, he quickly wrote down a few things. General Operations: The starting branch for all Negaverse officers. It's purpose is to facilitate their growth and training into one of the three specialized branches.Information Officers: The informative branch of the Negaverse. Charged with the gathering of information on both enemies and allies. Works closely with both Infiltration and Special Operations to disseminate information.Infiltration Officers: This branch has a stronger focus on the Civilian side of things. Infiltration Officers work to make a name for themselves in the civilian population so that when the time is right they can help recruit or even ease the transition of others into the Negaverse.Special Operations: Captains only - This branch requires the utmost dedication to the Negaverse. Special Operations Officers perform the hardest and most brutal missions of the Negaverse, including the tracking down and punishment of rogue officers and traitors. They must be prepared to do whatever it is that is asked of them without question."I have written on the board, a brief rundown of the branches of the Negaverse. The Training Corps is a special project in the General Operations branch, and thus falls under its auspice. Each branch, as you can see, has its own distinct mission. If one of these branches interest you, feel free to speak to either myself or Lieutenant Stibnite, and we will see to suggesting a more focused study curriculum." Leucite said as he stepped away from the board so that people could take some notes. "Any questions on the functions of the Negaverse branches?" He asked, before summoning his weapon, the long spear easily resting against his shoulders. "Before we move on to our next lesson... Weapons and Magic." "Um - General Leucite, sir -" the Eternal piped up from the corner (she'd never been comfortable around him and never would be - he seemed nice enough, had never done anything, but -- some things she couldn't remember stayed with her, was her best guess) - "What if we're not sure what branch we're best suited for, or could do the most, um, effective work in...?" It was as close as she could get to saying 'I'm incredibly embarrassed to be in General Operations after over a year in the Negaverse and a third-level rank', especially in this public a situation with people watching. Torvil possibly interested in her heading into the information branch, but who knows~

Oh, that was rather nifty. Leifite gazed at the energy taken from her, stiffling a yawn, noting the uses of it. Her eyes gazed to the starseed next, a hand reflexively pressing against her sternum as if to protect it. She stayed rather quiet, listening intently to the lecture.
The branches of the Negaverse quite intrigued her, especially the Infiltration branch. She could do that. Maybe. It certainly seemed up her alley if nothing else. That or Information perhaps.
Juicy secrets~
"No questions, though I will want to talk to you about the branches later, sir," she said with a raised hand after a moment.

Raspite watched as the information was written on the board. He had already attended the meeting for the Information Branch, and he had to admit that it seemed like it was right up his alley. As he listened to the others speak he grinned, remembering that he would have to work on making his association with that branch official at some point, needing to speak to his General King about being such. He watched as the General made his weapon appear in his hand. He chuckling to himself as the blade was brandished. At least he had a useful weapon. Raspite, however, did not. A fact that made the lieutenant roll his eyes.

When it seemed like the questions had slowed to a trickle. Leucite nodded his head. Turning his attention first to Chrysocolla he gave her a small but very warm smile. "Talk with me after class and we can schedule a meeting to discuss things in more detail." He said with a small nod. "I'm sure we can find something that suits your skills and interests if we look hard enough." His head turned next to Leifite and he also gave her a nod. "Speak to me after class as well and we'll set up an appointment to discuss what might suit you best as well." He was glad to see that his energy drain had not completely dragged her down. Clearing his throat he turned to the rest of the room and motioned to the door with his free hand. "For this next part of the class we'll be getting a bit more active, so if you'll follow me to the gym..." he said, moving out the door. "Leave your things here, we'll be coming back." He guided the group down the hall a few doorways before opening another door and leading them into a large gymnasium. Moving to the far side of it, he let his spear rest lightly against his shoulder. "I'd like all of the Lieutenants to summon their weapons. Corrupts, if you would be so kind as to stand over here by me for now?" He said, motioning his hand next to him. "We'll discuss the importance of your magic in a moment." he added with a grin. "Many of you," he said, addressing the Lieutenants. "Probably don't view your weapons as very useful. Therefore, I want each of you to come up with at least three ways you could hurt, incapacitate, or kill someone... with your weapon." Turning his attention to the corrupts again he bowed his head. "As you two do not have weapons, I'd like for you two to come up with three ways your magic could assist your fellow officers in battle." He said with a smile. "It not always that we have magic on our side as well. So your skills are invaluable on the battlefield." "Once you come up with your reasons, I'd like you to come and present them to me." He pointed in front of him with the tip of his spear as he spoke. "Right there will do quite nicely." Quote: Looks like its time to get a bit more active! Ouch, those words from the General, about people being on time in the future, hurt. She knew she was expected to be on time, had tried to be, and was not. It wasn't her fault and yet...at that moment she felt like it was - like she could have done something different...could have changed things somehow so she wouldn't have been late. She felt the slap of his words, as if a physical strike, to her face and refrained from flinching at the words, at the guilt, as she found a seat and kept silent now. She didn't want more attention given to her, that wouldn't be a good thing.
Trusting her fellow members? She wasn't sure that she could in all honesty. She knew she could trust them in a fight to have her back, as she was expected to have their back as well, but could she ever trust anyone beyond that? Did it matter even? From where she sat she remained silent and silenced her thoughts so she could properly focus. It wouldn't do to be late and to not pay attention.
Watching as the General showed off a crystal shard from the Rift she was not expecting his approach, though perhaps she should have. She had been late, she had stood out, and she would be made an example of. She didn't flinch, didn't go to move away, it was just a little energy draining...it was ok...she deserved it - didn't she? She didn't like the added attention, not when she still felt shame for being late, and guilt, but she said and did nothing as she felt some of her own energy escape her and enter the dark crystal. She trusted him, he as a General, he would not drain her to the point she would be a risk to herself once this meeting was over and she returned to the city. He wouldn't...that would harm a fellow agent - namely her. She could trust him in that.
Watching as the crystal left her skin and was held up, him speaking again, her pink eyes watched the dimly lit crystal in his hand as if a moth to a flame. Her energy was in there and providing some small light - it was all her.
Watching as he held the starseed she let his words float through her mind as she took them in. A persons soul....something they could take from a person and leave them to die....but was it really that bad? He was taking them from people who hurt, killed, and harmed others...those no one else stopped. He was...doing bad but for a good reason and he even said they didn't want to cause civilians more suffering. But what about the child on the train who's mother had been killed? What about the other innocent people? She could still remember pulling starseeds from elderly people, from the innocent. It sat wrong with her all this time later, she had joined to help in the operation without knowing it would be so...wrong. Yet the words he spoke were soothing, a balm she had needed, a refreshing splash of cool water against a burn that had long been there. He wouldn't hurt an innocent...a child...a mother...an elderly person - an innocent. She wanted to smile, had to blink a few times rapidly to keep from tearing up. The words struck with the family oriented corrupted as she sat there.
This was someone she could follow, so was the short blond who had helped her during the invasion.
When the questions had been answered, including one she had wanted to ask, she stood as instructed and as he separated the groups - Lieutenants and Corrupts. She moved to the motioned to location for her to stand. her heels clicked and her hair swept across the ground in a wave of pink silk. "I cause a sort of...blankness in a persons mind. I could use it as a distraction...so someone else can attack and take out the enemy." She answered without much thought. It was obvious that it was a good use for her magic, it was actually something she'd prefer - to act as support. "It would also be a good tool in order to allow for an incapacitated officer to escape with aid if need be." That was the second most logical use for her magic, and it was helpful as well.
The third one though....that was harder for her. She didn't know when she gained more power what her magic could do. "I can also use my magic on a fellow officer...if-if they are under some affect of a white moon senshi...something that may cause them to be a danger to other officers..." After all, there had to be some senshi of the white moon who could via magic turn an officer against his own - right? Or at least make him a danger to everyone around him. She could stop that with her magic, or at least lessen it with her own brand of magic. She hoped her answer was suitable, pleasing even, as she looked to the General with pink hued eyes. "I've only ever once worked with an agent....I didn't really get to use my magic." So she had never tested it out really. The general hadn't even wanted her to use her magic...she had just wanted to help...and test her powers... Maybe she could go out with this General and help clean up the city and keep him safe? She could perhaps use her magic in a fight and support him or the hooded female?
