Lani chuckled at her mate. "Of course they are all good!" Was there a bad story to tell of Desher? She couldn't quite recall anything. Maybe funny ones but those were still good.

"Oh, only the best stories. Especially ones with the cubs. Or how you saved her." All the stories were good and intriguing. The little bird had noticed a few faces but another in particular the white lioness. Who they didn't get the name of. "Oh! Its your apprentice Lani." Flying up to her back and landing gently on her. Tapping his right foot to signal going to the right.

Apprentice? Oh yes, the female who wanted to become a Hlare. "Oh Desher, come meet my apprentice..." She started to wonder what her name was, "I uh, forgot her name." Heading right in the direction of the white lioness he had noticed.

Adetokunbo looked up to notice the new face of a cub he'd not seen before. He grinned big, showing off his pearly white teeth. "I'm Adetokunbo!" The blue male did a playful lunge at the other. Trying to grab the little's tail fluff. It was already play time!

In the short time it took her to look once, upon glancing about a second time she caught sight of a couple new friends she had made recently, what a nice surprise! Though it should have been no surprise at all.

"Hello! Lani, it's nice to see you again." She smiled briefly, before recalling that she hadn't truly exchanged names with anyone - it was rude of her, but in all the excitement of meeting new individuals she often forgot the little things. "My naem is Unyawo`olulula, a mouth full, friends call me Yawo." Hinting at the friends card, there was no way she'd make them use her full name.

Then she spied Lani's newest companion, her bird. "Hello!" Oh she felt so nice to have familiar faces - she scolded herself regularly for not having met more, she was likely considered a hermit for how much time she spent apart from others. It felt so good to meet more.

"Have you seen how many have come to this event? Better yet, have you seen all of the cubs running about?"

Her eyes glanced from the couple and companion to see some little ones milling about, it was such a refreshing sight to behold.

So she did remember him. He smiled warmly at her excitement and gave a nod of his head. "Yes, it has been a long time." He said taking a seat next to her and glancing around to see who else from the pride was showing up. "Have you been over to our pride yet?" He figured he could at least see if she had, and if not then he could perhaps show her around whenever she got a chance to wander over that way.

"No, I haven't! I've been too little to travel on my own until recently." She said watching all the other lions milling around and socializing. "I would like to one day though." She added, flicking her tail behind her as she took a seat. "Would you ike to check out some of the activities with me?"

Nemmie twitched her nose a little as she hoped around, nearby to Starfire and Sugar Rush. There were so many lions wandering around but it appeared to be that she was the only familiar. Which she was okay with, she had Nelly here after all. "I might go explore a little, I'll stay in sight though." She said twitching her nose a little. Nelly gave a nod of her head and smiled. "That's alright, i'll keep an eye out."

"When members join us, the names tend to get passed along. You have a pretty distinct look about you," he waved a paw at her markings and gave her a wry grin. "My name is Dagr. Short and easy enough to remember."

He sat then, curling his tail around him and casting a quick glance around. It was getting busy - and busier by the minute. He supposed it had been a while since the last big gathering. People had probably been craving such an event, "our people do like their celebrations. Was it not so lively where you came from?" Since meeting the rogue, Udayi, he had become curious of the outside world.

As a youth he had considered the possibility of leaving the lands to seek adventure and had eventually decided against it. It had been strange to be reminded that a bigger world existed beyond the borders - even for him who patrolled it regularly.

Desher wiped a paw across his brow in a sign of close escape. "Whoo, you had me worried there for a moment. Afraid I'd never live the stories down." He laughed. "How did you run across her?" Not that he was going to curtail his mate's wanderings; he wanted to learn her patterns so if something came up, he'd know where to look. He watched the bird, intrigued, as he appeared to spot someone the pair knew and hopped boldly onto Lani's shoulders. It seemed as if he was giving her directions. That bird could come in very pawily.

His ears flicked as Lani talked about an apprentice. Barely several days they'd been here and she'd already gotten an apprentice? He felt like he was being slow on the job. Desher blamed it upon his age. Ironically, they appeared to be heading right toward the white lioness he'd met. It didn't take long to prove that was exactly where they were heading.

"Hello again!" He wondered if he should excuse himself and let the ladies talk. At least this time he got the white lioness' name. "A pleasure to know your name at last Yawo. Is it usually this packed?" He had noted the number who'd shown up and even a pair of spritely cubs playing in the sand. "They sure look like they are having fun."


Eade spotted a pair of cubs having a fine time. He was happy everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The young adult wished he was still a cub and could join in on their games.


Yang didn't have much time to take in the other cub's name before he was being pounced. It was such a long name compared to his! "I'm Yang!" He decided he'd shorten it to Ade. That would do. That was all he had time for as he tried to whisk his silvery tail away. He romped through the sand, letting the male chase him for a bit before he turned the tables to tackle the other cub. This was the best fun yet!

Asker wondered if he'd see Zeph at all and looked around for the bahari lioness with such a spunky personality. He liked her and wouldn't mind seeing her again. Looking over towards Pili he gave a nod of his head. "If you lead the way I'll join you." He offered her at the comment of all the activities that were going on. He considered going in the water later, but right now he was alright.

She got up excitedly and led the way towards one of the spinning wheels and smiled at asker as he followed. "We should do this! I want to see if we can win anything." She said excitedly as she padded up to the wheel and spun it happily. The lion running it had a handful of trinkets and odds and ends to give out to those who landed on specific things and he gave her a very pretty looking shell when it stopped spinning.

Lani grinned at the other. So glad that she knew her name and could stop calling her apprentice. "I hope you've been studying your herbs Yawo?" Giving a small chuckle to the female she had taken on. She felt bad that she hadn't had another moment to go over things with her. Or even her new feathery friend who was currently just nestled comfortably on her back.

Fionnan's lit up as if to smile since he couldn't very well do that with his beak. "Yawo! I am Fionnan. You can call me Fio. Lani seems to call me whatever she wants." He joked with her, sometimes she did call him Eyes though. The few times they had met up and went in search of things. "I have not seen how many exactly but I spied a few from the air. I have seen only a few cubs about." Then he turned himself to look at Desher. "Awkward story.... I uh. Let's just say I wanted to learn about herbs and your mate was knowledgeable."

Cubs... The thought sent a shudder through the female. Would this maybe be a good time to tell Desher she wanted cubs? "Desher. I have two questions for you. One, do you mind if I keep Fionnan around? Two... I think we should have cubs." The second wasn't exactly a question. She could now 'see' the cubs who were playing and how she desperately wanted that again. Especially after having met up with two of her babies on the journey to the new home.

"Yang!" Nipping at the other for a moment before he was trying to escape the other. Causing a small ruckus to the booths before heading towards adults. Kicking up sand at others and then going between Lani, Desher, and Yawo's legs. He then rushed over by Eade and a few of the other adults legs. Nearly bumping into Dagr and Kari. "Oops! Excuse me!" He called out. He did have a bit of manners but this was just too fun!

Did he see Wazi? The little cub he had been playing with and nearly pounced on her to.

Desher was pleased to see the community of the pride. He was glad they had found such a wonderful new home. "Doing well enough!" Honestly not much had happened in the day or so since they'd met. He noticed her looking and smiled, remembering their earlier conversation. "I'm sure he'll show. If not I'll gladly teach him a lesson for you." He laughed with a wink.

"So what is Lani teaching you exactly? Is my den going to smell of herbs or other foul things each day before bed?" He teased the lionesses. Sometimes he mate could get very focused. Maybe he'd better look into getting a smaller secondary den for them to play in. They had a nice little group there, with his mate, her apprentice, and her new bird. Desher was feeling a bit left out of it all. He really needed some new male friends.

"I don't mind if Fionnan doesn't mind. He might have other plans." He glanced at the bird. If Lani wanted to keep him, Desher could have a talk with the bird later. Then the bombshell dropped. She had been hinting at cubs! Awkwardly he glanced around, wondering why she had to bring that up now in public. Maybe it was the setting, or the cubs racing around. "Um ok..." He hardly noticed one little cub bounce off his leg.


Eade chuckled at the fun of the cubs. When they drew near he took his chance. His paw darted out and he managed to snag the second one. He let out a deep play roar. What cub could resist a big monster?


Yang happily chased the other male. For a moment he thought he spotted one of his siblings, but he wasn't sure who it was exactly. He gave a quick shout to his sibling hoping she'd come join them. His pink eyes were focused on his target as he raced among and bounced off a number of leg pillars that were just obstacles to him. Adults were generally above him as they didn't want to play. He barely noticed going through the booths, then among a trio of adults, where he happened to bounce against one of the male's leg who appeared distracted by something.

"Sothooy," he mumbled an attempt to apologize. They probably didn't notice him anyhow! Then he skimmed close to another male with a bright red mane. Just when he thought he was about to catch Ade a big paw scooped him up and there was a deep roar. Yang squealed with delight. "Attack!" He called to his fellow cubs, with enough they could take him down!
