Farrow nodded in response while she spoke about the situation. The mention of blood making her tense slightly but the nuzzling of the cat was helping her stay calm about it. "Thank you, Mara... I really appreciate it.." she spoke then looked over to Raven, staring at her for a moment as she tried to just keep her mind about her then followed Mara assuming she was supposed to do so. Things were going surprisingly well.
"Honestly, who do I not want to punch...." she laughed a bit then took a sip of coffee. "He probably did... knowing the friend..." she responded bluntly then sighed. Her eyes narrowed despite her expression softening. "Of course... This was very high in importance to me, so it's the least I could do.."
Farrow looked at the papers, blinking for a moment then looking to Mara with a quizzical look then frowned. "....I do..." she answered, not sure why she'd ask her that, but she supposed it was fine. Shifting slightly, she squatted down to put Orrin down on the ground who kept its ground next to her calmly and stared up at Mara with it's glowing blue eyes. Farrow then stood to take the papers and looked over them, answering everything to the best of her ability. Her handwriting wasn't that great, but she could spell well enough that it was readable. Handing her back the papers after a moment, she moved her hand to grip her other arm, staring at Mara with a slightly worried look. "I hope that's all okay."

Mara watched Farrow look through the documents and nodded before looking down at the cat with a faint frown. Glowing eyed shadow cat, familiar but it was easy to guess who that reminded her of. She stared a bit longer then shook her head and looked up... darn it she needed to call Ree soon. ugh.
"Gasp..and here I was hoping I was one of the ones you didn't punch.." she smirked then sighed. "Yea ...probably did but not sure what if they aren't here either ways .... " she gave Kae a raised brow...wanting ot ask about her last statement but not right now.
Looking back to Farrow she eyed the teen quietly as she finished and took the paper from her ad she glanced through it. "You are aware you can be in a lot of trouble if any of this is false " she said glancing up at Farrow and watching her closely as she said that, looking for any sign of nervousness.
Everyone else they had accepted had been around Sanctuary this time would be the first someone had actually seek them out purposely and she just couldn't help thinking the worst sometimes. "Either way ..." she reached into a drawer and pulled out a box and a set of passkeys, remembering Kage and trying not to.. "This will be your room. We will need to run some checks but once that is done you will get your own official pass. Until then I can show you to your room and a very quick look around. If you need to talk to someone talk to me or Raven. If there anything you want to ask? or even tell us? before we go"

Kae quirked an eyebrow at Mara then smirked faintly.
Farrow blinked at Mara as she warned against falsification, she took a breath and nodded. "Some of the information I don't know for sure but I did my best to answer or explain it." she answered, the cat nudging her until she leaned down to pick up the cat again. "I'm aware that false information is bad..." she added then sighed. She reached out a hand to take up the passkey and nodded again, a smile forming on her lips. "Thank you, Mara..." She then thought about what else she should say to Mara, anything to tell her or ask about. "Is there... anyone else here? All I see is you and Raven..." she commented calmly, looking back to Raven for a moment.

Taking the application she put it in the same folder and took out another packet as she sighed. Aware that it is bad but not saying she didn't falsify anything. Then again, what should she expected from a meta who lost everything, trust wasn't very high on their list. "Okay then, before I forget. Read through this packet and return to me at sometime later the last part. It is rules and regulations. Most of which are going to be changed soon but better for you to be aware than not " the other reason she didn't give it to the others, it needed reworking a lot of it.
"As for everyone else. That is what I am going to try and find out, there are at least four others metas, one which doesn't count since he is from spectrum but he is here" she sighed. "Which is why I am holding off on being more thorough, we will talk later but right now I need to figure out what happened. " she said moving past Raven toward the door to do the quick tour ending in the room. "You are allowed into all the areas you pass will let you in. Please ignore the stairs and if you can phase..don't phase into there. That is not a suggestion but a rule, you will be kicked out fast or worse when we find you there. " she warned looking back at her with narrowed eyes.

Farrow took the packet into one hand, staring at it as a worried look grew on her face. Then tension was building as the voice in her head just screamed at her to stop what she was about to do. "Wait... Mara... Can I have the papers back..." she looked at her sincerely with a frown. "I want to do this right... And not based on some notion that youd take me in because you pity Metas.I want to be honest with you.. I want you to trust me for who I am... Or maybe you dont, but at least I can say I tried." she took a deep breath as she hugged the cat and it meowed at her with a fairly happy face. Farrow nodded at Orrin and smiled faintly before turning her gaze back to Mara with a fairly innocent determination. "Let me start over. My name is Farrow... and I'm actually nineteen and a true race shadow. I used to live in Khares but it's pretty much abandoned and I didn't want to stay there. I thought that maybe youd be more inclined to like me if I was a Meta... But I don't want to lie about it. I'm not good at that. I hate it... I want to be honest. Everything that I said about why I was here is the truth. I want to fight for good and help others. I was kind of mean as a kid and bullied others and I guess I just want to be a better person for my own stupid guilty conscience even if my intentions are genuine ones. And I'm not telling the truth now because I'm afraid you'd find that out in a check on me... Honestly, you still wouldn't find records of me... I was abandoned as a child... So its always just been me and my brother. And now it's just me. Please understand that this is the real truth." she exhaled deeply like a weight lifted off her shoulders. "If you want to deny me and kick me out for lying to you in the first few minutes of meeting you... I will completely understand. I'm sorry that I was dishonest with you..." she frowned a bit and looked away for a moment before looking to Mara again. "...if you still want me... I promise I'll follow the rules... I don't want to cause you any problems.."
Raven stared at the girl, almost taken back by her sudden change of nature before looking to Mara with a questioning look, honestly speechless in her own right as well as a little confused. Well, wasn't this am interesting turn of events.

Mara continued to keep her gaze narrowed as Farrow asked for the papers back and moved directly into why. Slowly as Farrow talked she crossed her arms and listened quietly, giving her a stern look as she reached the end. Silently she moved back to the desk and pulled out the application Farrow signed and motioned to it.
"I am tempted, very tempted" she said sounding angry as she hit the paper against her other hand. "Not only did you put yourself at risk you also put me and my organization at risk for possibly putting a true race in vulnerable situations" she said glaring. "Metas unfortunately don't have the laws and rules that protect you. Passing yourself as one was one of the most dangerous things you could have done" she said hitting the paper against her hand as she moved toward the shredder and put it through. "I pity the metas, but I don't hire them because I pity them I hire them because they are suited to fighting other metas unlike humans and have more versatile range of abilities than true races" she said moving toward the desk and looking through the files and pulling out another application.
"However..." her said holding the application as gold eyes narrowed carefully at Farrow. "Since you did come clean and tell me the truth...and you actually do seem sorry. I will allow you to continue your application with the right one. " she said lifting the application that was something like ten pages compared to the meta's one.
"Just as long as you continue to be truthful to me Farrow. I don't exactly care about your past just as long as it doesn't come back to haunt us, so I am trusting you that you are over 18. " she said seriously before holding the paper out now. "If you still interested you can fill this out. You will be able to help but not as part of the group of metas but alongside them. In what capacity it depends on what we need and what fits. This is till just preliminary.. I will still be doing that check" she said quietly. "Anything else you want to add?" a little angry but also respects the fact she did come clean before there was trouble. Weather she did it because of the check or because as Farrow said, there was nothing, she didn't know but the checks were going to be done any ways.

Farrow watched as Mara pulled back out the application, not sure what her reaction would be and honestly worried for what was to come next despite the determined look on her face. She flinched as Mara hit the paper against her other hand, her own grip on the cat tightening just a bit. Farrow slowly shifted her eyes to the floor in guilt as Mara began to scold her for lying and putting everyone at risk. Her mind roared up in protest but she stood her ground against the voices in her mind that told her Mara was wrong. No, she was right.
Mara shredded the application and Farrow frowned like a child who was about to be sent to time out. The cat nuzzled her again and she took a deep breath to steady herself. But then she retrieved a different application and told her she could actually continue it the right way. It was a lot larger of a packet but Farrow didn't even seem to care, a relieved and happy smile spreading across her face.
Farrow nodded, "Yes! I'll be honest with you from now on... I won't lie to you!" she insisted then exhaled, releasing tension. "Thank you so much!" she half-exclaimed as she let go of the cat that jumped down in unison as Farrow moved to hug Mara. She appeared extremely grateful that she was being given an actual chance, as she made quick of the hug as she took a step back, grabbed the papers and filled them out right there.
"That's okay if I'm not part of their group... I just want to help any way I can." she then nodded. "Do the check, it's okay." she smiled a bit then began to frown as she asked if there was anything to add. "I mentioned it earlier but I want to make sure you knew I was being honest about it... My brother said I should make others aware that when I start fighting, it's hard for me to stop sometimes... He said it's a... berserking type of thing, I think. As far as I know... I just hyper focus on a fight and it's hard for me to hear anything else in that moment... That's about all I can think of..." she looked to Orrin questioningly for a moment as he had made home sitting on the edge of Mara's desk for now as it looked to Farrow and meowed happily. Farrow nodded in response then looked to Mara. "Yeah, I think that's it. If I remember anything, I'll tell you right away!" she finished up filling out the paperwork then handed it to Mara with a smile. "...did you... have any questions for me?" she asked curiously. Not that she wouldn't think Mara would have already asked if she had questions.
"Well this has been an interesting turn of events." Raven quirked an eyebrow and finished her coffee, frowning at its empty nature. "And since we are all being honest here... There is currently two metas in the building right now. Children. They are unconscious right now... But I'll introduce them when they wake up..." she sighed, as obviously there was more to that but now would not be the best time to divulge all the information about the two kids right now. "Its a long story...."

"Unconcious meta children somewhere ...yea that doesn't sound suspicious at all." Mara muttered still looking suprised at the hug that she hadn't expected, especially after scolding her for doing something like that. "You would be the only one to say Unconcious instead of asleep .." She continued with a growing sense of dread remembering last time Kae had a child transfered to them. Yep, they definetly needed to talk now...bye bye sleep, hello coffee. Two meta children and two meta toddlers once those eggs hatch...she was growing her team it seemed...and she needed to find someone to take care of them. Syth? Melody? Or technically her Mane those two were mothers, that will work.
Mentally shaking herself, she was to easily distracted right now, she turned her attention back to Farrow and the surpised hug. For someone who was abandoned and was on the street, no wait she didn't say that, with just her brother she seemed pretty innocent. It could also be a trick but then there was the cat, it seemed to be supporting her in the same way Tri's shadow creatures comforted him.
Wait didn't she say her brother was not by blood? Adopted? That makes more sense...kinda if she was giving her a true name. Nope not her problem if she was actually 19..but why was she fighting?
"Fighting ...no, that doesn't sound like beserking. More like what you said hyper focus, fixation on a target or goal. Beserking is different. Thank you that is especially important to know. Eventually we will give you a physical and also check your fighting style and powers and see where you need work on. " she looked slightly distracted as she frowned, staring at the construction equipment. Security, they needed higher security asap.
"One question through" she nodded toward the cat, sending the shadows being controlled by her and not a spy. 'Your unconcious?" She asked seriously even when she wanted to smirk considering what Raven had said earlier. "One of my ...adopted sons does something similiar, was curious if it was the same"

"Never said it wasn't suspicious, honestly. I have a lot of explaining to do.. and I'm sure you won't be happy about it.. but it is what it is. I'd rather just not discuss it here. If anything, I'm handling it." she retorted back, sighing as she stared at the mug then tried to cross her arms again, or at least the best she could with an injured arm. "Well... it's just that. Asleep suggests they chose to sleep... They drank a bunch of Nyquil and I suppose it should be wearing off eventually. They were still breathing, so that's a plus, I guess."
Farrow kept her eyes on Mara as she spoke, "I'm not certain what happens, I in a sense lose myself... That's just what my brother told me to mention. If you want, and have the capability to, I can try activating it in a controlled environment so you can see for yourself what happens... But that can come in time I suppose." she explained with a half-concerned expression. She then nodded, "That's fine... I can do a physical and show my fighting style and powers... that's no problem." she smiled faintly, hugging the cat.
As Mara proposed one more question, Farrow paused, listening to it before looking down to the cat questioningly. "Orrin?" she muttered curiously before looking back to Mara. "It's... uhm.. Yeah, I guess you could say that. It's an extension of my shadow manipulation." she explained as she let the cat jump down and she waved her hand and it shifted into the form of a rat, another wave of the hand and it was a bird. "I just really like cats.." she mentioned off-handedly as she changed its form back to shadowed black cat with glowing blue eyes and it meowed at Mara, moving to rub itself against Mara's leg. "I suppose you could consider it like a seeing-eye dog... Even though it's apart of me, it's part of my subconscious and... it just helps keeps my mind more.. clear. I tend to overthink things and Orrin reassures me... I know that sounds weird, but he helps me." she looked from the cat and back up to Mara. "Is that like what your son does?"

"K-Raven...now you worried me. I liked my off handed comment hinting you might have kidnapped them with the car you stole. Yea...let's continue this ..later. " she glanced away from Raven with a worried look as she focused on Farrow again.
"We will try to tease out what happen in a control environment for certain. This is only when you get into a fight correct? Not if someone steals the last slice of cake?" As she glanced over to the cat blinking slightly as it switched between cat, rat and bird. "Actually, yes a little. It is hard to figure out what he is thinking or feeling so they come out when he needs comfort or just hurting badly. They comfort him or sometimes show his real view of something." She sighed softly.
"That is fine, just wanted to be aware. The more I know the better I can make things for everyone" she said with a side-long glance toward Kae. "That said, I can show you to your room, return that packet to him when your done and well..there should still be some left over pizza in the fridge of the break room if you're hungry. Or I can order some more.....which seems better... Take your pick. Hopefully by this afternoon things will have some semblance of order. " she said running her hand through her hair.

Raven quirked an eyebrow in a slight bit of offense. "Excuse you, I didn't steal a car, that's legitimately my car... just, the kids aren't... well, not biologically..." she then shifted her gaze to Farrow. "I mean,... they are.... UGH... Quit making this so hard.." she sighed with exasperation. "I didn't kidnap them.. they are kinda my kids.. but that's not the point right now."
Farrow nodded as she followed the conversation and settled her gaze on Mara. "What? No, it's just when I'm fighting... well, when I get really really mad.. but not something as silly as cake. Like, if someone shoves me, I might use too much force in retatiation which escalates into combat and before I know it I've punched them into unconsciousness and they likely need a hospital or they might die..." she explained then furrowed her brows in worry, not meaning to give quite that much information about it, but hopefully Mara better understood what she meant by it. She looked down to Orrin after a moment as it sauntered back over to Farrow and jumped up into her arms again. "Orrin just... helps me think more clearly... I don't exactly know why or how.. just does. So I figured I just keep with it if it helps... It's a fairly new things I had been subconsciously doing so maybe it does show my true emotions... I don't know yet." she paused before nodding again. She opened her mouth to respond to Mara's request but then a loud crash of what sounded like pots and pans hitting the floor rang out down the hall and Farrow tensed up and the cat hissed.
"Oh god dammit... they might be awake..." she muttered in a slight panic but mostly anger as she darted for the door and back toward the cafeteria. "Oh come on, only be one awake... Please only be one awake..." she muttered under her breath as she ran for the sound.

"Raven... you're making things worse and me more nervous. " Mara shook her head wanting to run over and shake Kae to tell he what the he** she did that would involve two children and make her mad.
Mara looked back at Farrow and nodded looking faintly irritated at the moment. "Okay... that will need to be addressed in the next ....first meeting we have with the others. and to see what happens what you do that. As dor Orr-..." she paused turning to stare toward the door, shadows thickening in the room as she tried not to shift automatically to armor form. "...... hyperactive?" she growled after Kae but turn away and follow in a hurry only to spot a blonde hair archangel child.....with glowing silver eyes look over at them and waved as he walked past them.
"...Kae...Kae.........WHAT THE s**t DID YOU DO?!" she yelled staring after him.
Akash blinked and stopped to look back at them concerned. "....Is she in trouble again?" he looked at Kae. "You need to learn to be nicer" he smiled sweetly at them and continued on.

Her face grew into an angry hot fury as she spotted Akash and his words did not help. "You disrespectful litt-..." she paused as she stopped, staring angrily at him, then a look of worry on her face as she noticed he was alone. "Where's your sister?!" she demanded before another crash rang out in the kitchen. "Come the f-..." she looked back at Mara. "Keep an eye on this one, he just wanders... DO. NOT. LOSE. SIGHT OF HIM." she insisted with a harsh voice before taking off for the cafeteria as the sound of several glasses breaking could be heard. "STORMY!! YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!!! GROUNDED, DOUBLE LOBOTOMY AND A ROLL OF RUBBER WALLPAPER YOU LITTLE GREMLIN!!!" she screamed out as she skidded into the cafeteria.
Stormy was standing up on the counter in the inner part of the kitchen, trying to climb up to a higher shelf as she knocked glass cups down into the floor on accident. As soon as she heard Kae's scream. "Uh-oh..." she muttered before looking for Akash, but he was gone. She shrieked excitedly and jumped down, running for the door, straight towards Kae as she ran under her legs and out into the hallway. "DON'T LET THE DOCTOR LADY GET YOU, SHE'S POOOOOIIIISON!!!!" she exclaimed with another shriek of playfulness and ran down the hallway towards Mara. Spotting Mara, her eyes went wide. "Eep! The boss lady is home!!!" she yelped as she slid to a halt, slipping and falling down before scurrying back to her feet quickly and taking off running in the other direction.
Farrow appeared confused and slightly concerned as she watched the scene unfold. There was a lot of yelling and one child was walking away while the other was running at full speed down the hallways. She looked to Mara and blinked before turning to calmly follow the blonde haired boy. "Where are you going?" she asked softly to the boy, hugging the cat in her arms as she tried to just hold a conversation with him as they walked.

"What?! WAIT!... " she stared after Kae then looked toward Akash and Farrow." First job. Keep an eye on him!" she said turning to go after Kae, wanting answers just as a girl ran out, no wings this time but black hair and the same head and ethereal ornament Tri and Ree had on their heads. That was really the zilching moment as she stared at the girl, eyes narrowing as she tried to grab her as she ran past and missed. Turning she summoned Claws of shadows that tried to grab at her too. (Claw) "Kae... you are so ******** in trouble!"
Akash watched apathetic as Kae and Mara ran off before turning to continue on his way. He looked up at Farrow as she followed instead of trying to keep him there or scolding him and smiled faintly. "Just walking... this is a new place... lots and lots of land after we got to the mainland, you can barely see the ocean at all now. It's weird"

"Yeah, I'm aware!! Just bloody grab her already!!" she screamed back, turning to run after her before the child yet again ran back towards her.
A grin formed across her face as she made it look like she was going to slide between Kae's legs before dodging to the side, rolling before taking off again down the hallways and turning down another corridor, laughing happily as though it were just one big game.
She stepped forward as she approached but then dodged her, suddenly getting knocked down by shadowed claws. "God dammit, Mara! The girl, GET. THE. GIRL!!" she shouted, trying to get up off the floor before she lost sight of h-... and she's gone. s**t.
Farrow continued to follow calmly. "So you're from an island? Hmm.." she pondered the notion for a bit before speaking again. "My name is Farrow. What's your name?" she paused, "Are you Raven's son?" she asked curiously, just walking next to him and keeping an eye on him.
Meanwhile, Stormy was kicking in doors and trying to get into anything she could, finding a room with a bunch of snowglobes in a box, she took up at least six of them into her arms before continuing. "..ooo what's in here? .... ooo what's in here?.... I wonder what's in this room..... What's in-... OOOOOOOOOO EGGS!!!" she cooed excitedly as she ran up to the incubators and hopped up and down enthusiastically. She bit her lip, running in place a bit before setting the snowglobes down on the ground then reaching up to try to touch one of them, a grin forming on her face.
