Bushi - Post 2 Bushi gave pause in what he was doing, having been showing an rather nice, braided leather armband to a customer when he heard Profit's chirping change up a bit. He knew the bird well enough to know that her current song was the sort she used when she spotted someone she knew. The bird was well trained and wouldn't go rushing off, but at the same time she was trying to get someone's attention. He gave a quick glance around, then turned back to his customer, as much as he wanted to figure out while it was he had someone here with him. He couldn't very well abandoned a customer without incurring their wrath and a potentially scathing review from them about his little shop. Not something that he could allow. As such he only started to look around when he'd finally clinched the sale, sending the man off with a nice new armband. That done he was quick to look around, searching for... well, whatever it was that had gotten Profit's attention, and couldn't help but smile when he noticed her. Lifting a big hand into the air he gave it a wave and called out, "Hello there, Sprite!" Loud enough that she might be able to hear but not so loud as to disturb the others around him. It was a delicate process, but he hoped that he had a bit of luck on his side... and to give himself an edge in that he was quick to offer up a little prayer to On'os.

Bisera - Post 1 The sound of bells caught Bisera's attention even though the sound was a quiet one that was almost drown out by the crowd. It was the fact that it was a very familiar sound that he actually turned toward it... just in time to allow himself to be 'captured' by Xarnith. He gave his friend a smile and laughed as he said, "Hello, Xarnith! I'm glad to see you!" Not just becaue he knew he was already lost in the crowd but because he really was always happy to see his friend. "Yes, I agree, he really is getting good at his job." He said, reaching down with his free arm to scoop up the pretty kitty, giving him a careful hug so that neither of them got poked by the others' crystals. Smilng brightly he said, "You really are a smart, wonderful perzi, aren't you? The best one around in fact!" Heavy praise, but he felt that the kitten more then deserved it for all of his hard work. Turning back to Xarnith he said, "Now that we are together we should go enjoy everything there is to enjoy about the festival!" He said, tugging on his arm as though he could actually move the bigger man forward so easily.

Saraf - Post 2 While making his escape from his mother it almost seemed as though someone else from the group had a similar idea... and ended up bumping into Saraf during her escape. He turned toward her his words escaping almost instantly, "Watch where you're..." And he was quick to bite them back, clearing his throat, and forced his temper to even out. He wasn't about to let his temper make him look a fool again, not after that incident with the Leaf Tribeswoman. "Be careful, you don't want to run into the wrong person." It felt... strange, offering up such advice to a foreigner, especially one of the Water Tribe, no matter how fancy her mode of dress was and how... odd her coloring. It made him wonder for a moment if she was of mixed parantage but decided that it wasn't really any of his business. He'd leave that sort of thing to those who wanted to gossip about such things... which was the group of women that he'd escaped from before they'd gotten their hooks into him. As a member of the army he had to try to hold himself in high regard on a day like today. If he acted a fool then that would reflect upon not only Saraf himself but also others in the army, not something that he was going to allow. As such he would smile even into the faces of the Shifters that scarred him and those that stole from him if he was forced to do so.

Neryssa Post 1
The air was alive with the sounds of music as the ground trembled with the patter of feet. Most moving around from stand to stand looking at the wares to be sold. Others were the patter of dancers as they twirled and whirled to the pipers and drummers alike. One such pair of matorian feet stomped the ground to the upbeat of the music. Her laughter rang out as she pulled a small child into the open ring around her. spinning around before moving back away from the crowd as the child skittered back to its parents. The young matorian, just in her prentice years swayed and twirled. She was dressed in dull teals and greens, the one thing that made her stand out was the pink sash around her waist. The one that flapped around like a banner behind the youth as she moved. Bare feet moved quick over the ground as Neryssa was in her element. A crowd had gathered as the musicians started playing before the parade. How could she pass up the chance to show off a little. People clapped or tapped a foot with the music, but Neryssa was alive.
Her gold medallion like eyes glowed with happiness and laughter as she watched the faces around her. While she was enthralled in the sounds of those playing, she couldn't help but still watch for someone. With another spring of laughter, Neryssa set off again as the music picked up pace. With pink sash a flap behind her, Neryssa kept her feet moving.

Phaedra Post 2Through the crowd she did see a familiar face but it was not the one she wanted to see. It was Saraf. Almost immediately a red hue graced her cheeks as she recalled what she had done to the man. Wanting to duck out of sight quickly she moved through the crowd to hide but was stopped short when she heard the call from Bushi. Turning her head this way and that she searched for him only to see Profit attempting to gain her attention. Phae grinned. Once the kinfa was seen she spotted Bushi and from there she was making her way around people so that she could be nearer. "Well hello there, Bear." Her green eyes went to the things he was selling then back up to him. Phaedra wasn't at all surprised that he was here to make money. She stepped closer to him to get away from the flow of the shoppers and festival goers. "Sell much?"

Arima - 2Blinking Arima turned as she heard another speaking. Had she truly just hit someone? Oh no! Should she just turn tail and run now? Her cheeks flushing a pale shade of violet the girl began to utter an apology before swallowing her words. She had to remember where she was at! The words of the ladies from the gathering haunting her the girl placed a hand on a hip and still with that light flush tried to look at the Oban male directly. She could do this...he was rather tall and intimidating...perhaps even considerably handsome, but she could do this! Was she not a noble lady after all?
"It sometimes is hard to not brush past someone while walking rather...briskly. So I doubt that it's a necessity to apologize for such a common occurrence." She began with a light frown. Would she have considered herself running? It wasn't befitting of a noble of Oba to just run through the streets - especially for a lady! "However as it was I did leave that gathering a little quickly. Also, thank you for your warning. I'll make certain to take care of who I encounter. No one wants to meet the wrong person after all." Her fingers fiddled with the sash that rested around her slender hips. Was that all she could say? It seemed rather...abrasive, right? She didn't know too much about many ladies of her age - considering her previous locked up circumstances- but she just felt too harsh. It truly wasn't in her nature...but she really couldn't' shame the lady, not out here with so many around. She already owed her so much.
Still, as she glanced over at the stranger and noticed the style of his clothing Arima's mouth did curl up into a small smile. "Though I suppose I'm alright this once. Considering your wear and status any Lady of Oba should be safe near you, correct? " At least from the stories she heard about the pride and nobility of the Oban Army...they protected their own. Perhaps a little of her other fantasy stories -those about dashing knights protecting delicate ladies- also played a bit on her assumptions, but what else did she know? Why wouldn't an Oban Knight be noble and honest?

Nadiya - 1 This parade event was spectacular! Nadiya laughed as she danced among the foreigners in the crowd. While she missed Matori dearly, it was almost like being home to see so many of her kind! A bit of heartache as she thought of her siblings daunted her movements, but quickly enough the girl had picked up her flute again. It was easy to play alongside the musicians in the parade - but she would much rather explore the city while she was here as well.
Smiling the girl played a few notes as she darted around a group of foreigners and as they waved she nodded her head before darting off again. Only a green scarf could be seen flying in the wind behind her as she started to dart here and there to see all the sights that could be had.

Eziya Post 2"Up? Do you think it'd be safe?" Sure she'd been the one saying she'd climbed all sorts of trees when she was younger, but building ledges were a bit different. They seemed quite a bit more dangerous to her. "I mean, do you think it's possible for us to climb it? I'd love to be able to sit higher up to watch everything, but I'm not sure if I can really make it. You'd of course be able to with how strong you are, but strength is definitely not my best attribute," she continued, laughing as she attempted to show off the next to nothing amount of muscle she had.

Xariy Post 1This had been the first time she'd been back home for a festival in years. As a youngling she'd always enjoyed watching the parades and getting to play the little games they had every year. Her parents had never been able to do much because of their stand, and now she understood why. They were usually busy selling their wares and supplying for the festival, but now that foreigners were allowed into Oba it seemed doubly busy. They couldn't catch a break, and now that she was working there she was just as busy as the rest. She thought about slipping out and going to see everything, but with everything going on it was next to impossible. Quote: Anyone can interact with Xariy~

Neryssa Post 2The tempo was just coming to a climax before something played that was not in sync with the others. Finned ears twitched at the softer pipe notes that played somewhere in the crowd, but where? "Nadiya...?" Was the only thing that came from her lips as she looked around. Bowing out of the ring that had been made, she made off in the direction she had heard the pipe. Standing on his tiptoes, she tried to see over the heads of others. Craning her neck she caught the sight of something familiar. "It has to be." Hopping backwards a little, she moved forward with gusto, she had to follow that flash of green and find who was attached. Her gut was saying, her sister.

Yitzah (Post 1) ~~~~~~~~~~Maybe Yitzah wanted to be in Matori for their festival. Maybe not. Either way, she was here and she was impatient to see what she had come to see: the might of the Obans, of course. She'd heard about a parade, of grand uniforms and spectacular performances and, well, something impressive. So far, though, it was just a bunch of people standing around doing nothing. Some of them were Obans in their bright finery, so that was at least interesting to look at, but there were other people here - shifters and Matorians and Aisha only knew what else (and hopefully not that leaf girl that had beaten the crap out of her). Nobody like her, though, and that was how the sour-faced Alkidike prentice liked it. There was a reason she wasn't going back to Chibale for their festival. However, she was starting to wonder if she would regret not lingering on the beaches of Matori for their festival and fish and whatever else the fish people were doing. If this muddling crowd was the extent of the parade, then it was a poor showing indeed. Bored of skirting the crowds, she waded in, making her way over to a merchant stand. The Oban lady running it seemed vaguely familiar, but in the end Obans looked pretty much the same - brown and red and orange. "Hey, did the parade happen already?" OpticPeach Have an onery Alkidike teenager.... you know, I wondered why she looked familiar >.< Sorry about the abandoned rp of before.

Aqio- Post 2 The water youth jumped down with a chuckle. "As much as I had a bad experience with on Oban, there are those that I actually like." he said as he walked up to the other male's side. He looked around at all the bright colors and smiled warmly at the sight of younglings running around. He knew they were safe. A parent or what seemed like a elder sibling was chasing them soon after. He glanced to Shesha. "The staff looks good with you." He meant it, Shesha was looking the part of a high class magic user day after day. Aqio glanced down to where a small blade was hidden among the chain's around his waist. He had a target he was suppose to tag later on...after the King's Speech. He wasn't suppose to kill, just point them out and tag them with a item. He was nervous. There were too many things that could go wrong...

Abie- Post 2 Abie made sure that he saw his Mentor walking ahead of them. The large male was going to meet up with their Caretaker later on. For right now, the Elder Rider had both of his prized Janarim flanking him. Abie smiled as he looked down as Laqui took up the front point. He looked to Incanthis. "What did you want to see first?" He thought of everything there was to see. Stalls, games...the parade hadn't started yet. There was time for them to enjoy themselves.

Xarnith- Post 2 Xarnith allowed Bisera to pull him a little ways forward. Chuckling softly to himself as he was led. Bisera's energy was a endearing trait of the smaller male. Fractis leaping onto Xarn's shoulders once the two started walking. Xarn looked up at a few games where small prizes could be won. He thought about it... "Did you want to play a few games? Or get something to eat?" he asked.

Nuri Post 1
Nuri was away from his family, waiting at his place with the rest of the great army. By his side was Naraka, relaxed but alert as the Janarim glanced around at the crowd. There was no space for his other familiars, which was fine for the Captain, as he wasn't sure they would be easy to manage with the massive crowds and strict pathway. Instead, they were safe at home relaxing.
As he stood there, Nuri wondered where his children and wife were. From what he imagined, Aseara was busy helping her dancers also prepare for the parade, which meant his children were with a nanny or getting into trouble. Maybe he should have listened a bit more. Either way, he'd most likely see them amongst the crowd as he walked by, and he hoped he could inspire them a bit during his pass. As a form of distraction, the Beast Master glanced about to see if he caught sight of a familiar face.
Nuri is currently in line at the Parade near the soldiers, and open for interaction
