The female had chuckled at her cubs, especially Tachi who seemed flustered by his sister's exclamation. She had wondered the same thing when Uzi had stated something about trials. It had been something she had wondered too. Though when her son asked about wanting to meet the pride leader and Najwa's response she felt pride swell inside of her. Maybe she should have caught onto what her daughter had said about it being her pride.
"Of course we would love to join you. It brings great joy to my heart to see you have this." Then she turned to her other two cubs, "Not to say I am not proud of you two either." As she went to the two and pushed them together to give them both the best pawed hug she could with their size. Licking both their faces to clean them up a bit.
Then she looked at the serval and moved from her cubs to the small one and gave her a hug as well. "Thank you for being with her and helping her with this."---- How flustered she had made her brother. It was funny but she wouldn't let that get the better of her and her face remained calm. "I also wish to join you sister. Our family reunited and once again part of the night."
A grin starting to form across her maw. "My sister. The leader of a pride. At least one of us got everything together." She chuckled. "No offense to you all." Not knowing how her mother and father would feel about that jab, not that she wanted it to be a jab. "Just happy for her. I'm tired of wandering. Plus a pride with my family. This is the best news I've had in a long while. I guess the next best news would be mom and dad telling me I was going to have more siblings." To which she looked to see the surprise on her mother's now somewhat startled face.[Dunno if you guys want to end up finishing this up soon.]

magnadearel Unless something happens, this is probably my last post... ^.^ Sorry if there are any silly mistakes, I'm rushing 'cause I'm being kicked out of my current computer.
And he then he proceed to chuckle heartily at the absolute horror in their son’s expression when Kaveri turned her exuberant affection towards the others.
“Siblings…? Nothing planned but… who knows what the future will bring. The rogue lands are no place to raise cubs but a pride…” he trailed off, moving to Kaveri’s side to lean against his mate. The others were staying , too. He couldn’t be happier. “Well, shall we go then?”

“I get it, mother, we are useless bums compared to Najwa.” Tachi joked briefly, grumbling when Kaveri pulled him and his sister together into a giant feline hug. When he dug his way out of his mother’s loving paws, he turned to Najwa. “I think… I would like to join, then… if that’s okay?”
At his father’s words, his tail swished playfully. Siblings… little miniature leopons… that sounded pretty good, actually. He’d love to be part of that, in some way… because… you know… it’s not like he would be having cubs in the future. At least he didn’t think so. While the notion didn’t bother him most of the time, it was good to know he might take part in the experience of rearing cubs in the future even if indirectly.
“Do you think the mighty pride leader might give us a tour now?” He winked at his sister with a lopsided grin, moving forward to properly greet his sister with an affectionate head butt. There was a good chance he might have curb his affections in the future in public.

Fin! I love this family. <3 So happy you both came back!Her family wanted to join! Najwa felt like a cub again and wanted to frisk and bounce. That would give the wrong impression of a competent leader so instead she settled for a deep purr. With the addition of four new members, her pride had grown quite a bit in one fell swoop. Granted half were hybrids who couldn't reproduce, but that was ok. There was other tasks for them.
Her happiness filled her so much, she thought she'd burst. Instead she had to settle for a huge grin. Her parents and siblings were proud of her. She'd done a good job. No she'd started a good job. There was still a long ways to go. The female cast a sly sideways glances towards her parents and subtly hinted, "I wouldn't mind some younger siblings." Or maybe not so subtle.
Najwa glanced at her brother and sister and gave a laugh. "Not to fear Tachi! I'll put you both to work." She winked at them. With a flourish she said, "right this way. Welcome to your new home." As the sun started to rise, Najwa proudly led her family deeper into the shadows.
Miyako was clearly startled when the leopard thanked her. "Ah well, it was nothing really. We looked out for each other." The family was ready to leave their old wandering lives behind them and start afresh in the shadows. She knew this might be a big shock to guards so quick as a wink the little serval twisted and scampered ahead into the shadows. She'd warn the guards that the large group following the leader was not threat. They'd pass it along and escort the family in while she got some meal preparations under way.
