1. I probably should have asked this earlier, but I recently updated two of my characters' abilities to reflect the updated information changes on the 'Basic Information' species' list, and would appreciate a 'fact-check' on if they're acceptable? Here and here, thank you. :]
2. Should I begin advertising for a slave role in the plot forum before or after I submit a profile for review? To clarify: does a profile with a blank slot for the 'slave' question count as under-construction or complete?

O1 Fact checked. Looking good! Changes accepted.
O2 If you're currently looking for a slave just put "None" on the profile until you find someone to fill the role! Or, you can always put a "Searching" as the status with a link to your plot thread for those who are interested! Since you've already got a character and have been a member of the guild I don't mind if you start working on a plot thread while you are also working on the new character's profile. So it's up to you what order you do that in. Don't worry. Relationships/Slaves doesn't impact if your character fits the setting or not!

Okay so I know there's an FAQ somewhere but I can't find it- anyways, I know you have to get permission to have a demon and all but how do you go about doing that when you want to bring one in? Say a weaker type?

Replying to your PM here for other members to read what's up with demons. I just want to be transparent is all!
I am not going to allow demons at the moment! I’m not totally sure what I’m doing with demons yet. However, I am about to get a guild-wide plot in motion that involves Flint. If you think you’d like to get involved or plot with a demon you’ll have a chance there! I guess PM me if you’d like a demon to ******** s**t up for you in the near future.
I’m going to think about what it’ll be like for demons to possess people. I do have listed somewhere that magical races who heavily interact with demons risk having the demons be able to have a hold over their bodies for short periods of time. Two creatures in one body. So that might be a possibility by the time you’re looking to start that plot. I’ll have to discuss with the staff about how we want to have that work! Right now I’m thinking demons will be for city-wide plots, and being possessed by one will be a special character people can apply for.
I’m sorry I can’t answer your question too well at this point in time! I haven't really put much time into that stuff yet.

How exactly do caims heal physically? It's ambiguous in the basic information post as to whether they 'take on' the physical injuries like they do the emotions and memories (etc.), or if they just... heal it. If it's the latter case, are they able to heal themselves? And would there be a sort of limit to healing themselves? (I think it's implied that the limit to healing others is when they get overwhelmed by foreign thought/feelings/etc. and start losing their sense of identity.)

Thank you in advance!
Short answer: No. Caims don't transfer wounds to themselves. They are using magic to heal the wound. I'm going to allow most members to decide how good at magic, how the magic impacts their character, and what they need to do to accomplish their healing process.
Long Answer: It's really up to you how you'd like the magic and your caim's healing style to affect them. For example, my alchemist usually takes 4-16 hours for a typical enchantment. It takes him ages which sucks if someone needs something on short notice, but his enchantments last a while. Usually 2-3 months before he need to re-enchant the object. If anyone were to interrupt him during this time and ******** with his enchantment he can't take a pause and then go back to his enchantment. The object will be ruined and he'll need to discard it, get a new one, and start over again. Growing up he practiced enchantments locked in his bathroom, and now as an adult, he can't really create any strong enchantments unless he's in the bathtub. He sucks at cursing items and stopped trying because it always backfired, leading to him being cursed one too many times. He hates that s**t. On the other hand, someone might want to make an alchemist who is really great at making strong enchantments super quickly. They might be able to do it with the snap of their fingers and you'll have an enchanted item that'll last for a week at a time.
You can make a caim who learned to heal properly and it doesn't effect them much asides from the memories ******** with their brains. On the other hand, you can make a caim who is self-taught and when he heals big injuries the big use of magic will make him vomit or sick for some time afterwards. You can even make one who hasn't a clue how to heal properly and they're s**t at it. Just like my alchemist has curses backfire on him, a caim's magic might backfire on them as well making their patient even worse, or hurting them since they have no clue what they're doing. Every caim has the ability to heal, but not every caim bothers to learn it since I bet a lot choose to live a normal life without having other people's memories. I imagine being in a caim's position would really suck. So it's not really a question of "how do they heal?". It's a question of: "How did they learn to use their magic? How good are they at it? How do you want the magic to impact them? What odd habits/quirks have they developed to help them control their powers better?"
Let me know if you have any questions of concerns! I'm here even if you just have someone you need to bounce ideas off of.

In regards to the alchemists Serenity and I are making;
If they were born to runaway slaves, but were never registered as slaves themselves or as proper citizens, what would we mark them as? Slaves or Citizens?

I would consider them both slaves. If they were to be turned into the authorities due to their bloodline they'd immediately be sent to the Slaver Division. So legally that's definitely considered closer to a slave than citizen.

Hey I'm new to the guild, I won't be able to make a character till the end of this week (My cousin is getting married this weekend and I'll be staying with that family for a while) but I had some questions to ask before making characters, based basically on my usual interests as a roleplayer.
1. Is their an age limit? I know that 18+ is important but do you have a upper limit, like no characters 30+? I like playing older characters and I think they'd be useful in this sort of universe.
2. Along the same lines can a character have children? I love playing single dads shamelessobsession so I would love to have one later. Usually I would have a kid be younger but I totally understand if you want all characters 18+ However I would also like to ask whether the age restriction is on side characters as well - for example if the characters child is not a main character and is simply mentioned from time to time, or possibly used to threaten him in certain situations.
I know they are odd questions >.< I just have a thing for single dads, I've played them several times in the past, I also like having 30+ characters ince the majority of characters in these settings are 18-25 most of the time. Variety is my thing XD I like having characters different from what most people would have. Sorry for asking so soon after joining, I don't mean to bother you right away.

O1: AGE MAX Of course there is no max! We've already a couple characters in their 4O's. You can feel free to make a little college student to a little old grandpa who's always trying to lecture gang members or get them off the streets. So no need to feel like you can only make characters on the younger side.
O2: CHILDREN Children and females will typically be accepted if they play an important role to a character's life. We simply have that rule in place because we don't want anyone to make their main character some random 11-year-old that's hanging out with 3O-year-old gang members. It would make no sense! Just be sure to check in with a staff member before you create or put up a search thread looking for people to play any of the children.
Lastly, welcome to the guild!
You may be able to come up with some good plots with Benjamin, Vincent, or Maluk, all of whom are also parents. If you wanted to throw their kids in the same school, shared parenting advice in the past, or come up with any other plots so your character might have a potential friend/rival it might be worth looking into!

Thank-you for the quick reply and suggesting other roleplayers <3 So neat that their are other parents, that's never happened to me before lol. Expect something from me as soon as I get back from my trip. October is always such a busy month for me @_@ I'll make a formal request when the time comes.

i have a question...so i wanna create a character who was an illegal slave once, but now they're no longer a slave? like, they escaped the illegal slavery and now they advocate for slave rights? or like, to abolish the system to an extent? is that okay? ;o;''

Of course you can! We have a few characters who are advocates for slaves rights floating about. That's perfectly acceptable.
