"Well - I guess I should state my payment before we go any further.." Zephyr chuckled nervously, having an idea in mind at the start, but it had changed because of what he now knew. Might as well get one task out of the way as it was something he had planned on doing, eventually, but he'd rather get the proper okay instead of the faux-okay. "To put it incredibly bluntly. I'd like to ask for Hexxis' hand in marriage. We....actually talked about it a bit before we had gone our separate ways as it'd keep us a tiny bit closer, technically, and..uh...yeah." he usually outgoing mercenary seemed to be a little flustered as he spoke about it.

Zaku's face became more serious as the subject of payment arose. He honestly expected something outlandish..... and honestly..... he was surprised that he was right. He place a hand on his forehead and sighed. "I'll be honest, I have no place to be saying anything on that matter. I only just recently found out I'm her real father and she probably hasn't the slightest clue.. seeing as she literally kicked my a** and almost killed me the last time I saw her when I fought SIU." he sighed again, "As far as I'm concerned, if she's happy, then who am I stop that... You'd have my blessing or whatever.. but I'd honestly recommend you get Tri's approval not mine... Also, good luck with that... he's not the type to waver from his own set point of views." he suggested. "I can't give you much on that, but if there is also anything else you want that would supplement what I'm unable to provide on all that, let me know."

Zephyr chuckled a little, having figured as much that he would be told to go ask the one father figure that most definitely say no to his request, more so if he knew what the question was actually about as when he had met him, Tri seemed a little not too...there...mentally. "Well, I guess that's all I can really ask for, honestly. You seem to care more about her than what I had witnessed in my short time between her and the..other family. I will need some help, if they've gone back to this SIU place, as you have suggested. I'll need someone who is good with technology.." he stated, moving his arms to cross them over his chest, wondering if his plan could even work. It would be difficult, but it might just work out with the right technological know how.

His expression fell into a frown as Zephyr conveyed his opinions about Hexxis' situation with her current family. Even though Zaku couldn't provide the best environment for her personally. But he could certainly protect her, and if all else failed, her other father had a safe place for her to go. If he had known, Zaku was sure she would have been cared for and loved. Maybe had they known about both of them, their choices would have been a bit different. Maybe they could have became an actual family instead of the broken remnant of what used to be love and a fractured hope for a better future. He thought for a moment, taking into consideration Zephyr's requests.
Cordelia finally caught her breath as she had walked toward where she'd seen Zaku go. As she approached, she caught the tail end up the conversation. Technology. That was a particular expertise of hers, so the merc was in luck with his request. She moved to answer but was interrupted by Zephyr stepping forward a bit as she then looked at him quizzically.
Zaku took a breath before speaking again. "Hold on..." he paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts, "One more thing... While you are looking for Hexxis, I want you to keep an eye out for her sister. Melody. She has black hair and blue and red eyes. She has a similar marking to Hexxis. You will not have to do anything for her. Just report back to me if you see her and if she is with a rainbow-haired meta with horns. That's all. Tell me if you see her, and make a quick observation of her situation, doesn't need to be detailed." he requested then narrowed his eyes. "If you add that, I will do everything in my power to let your marriage to Hexxis happen... as long as you can prove to me that she legitimately wants that for herself when the time comes..." he added and then kept a fixated eye on him. "If this is a suitable deal, Coredlia has an expertise in technology and can help you with pretty much anything you need with that." he explained then looked to Cordelia who nodded at him then they both looked to Zephyr to wait for a response.

Zephyr nodded, closing his eyes for a moment, "Yeah, I accept these terms. I will be needing a lot of help to pull this off. A lot." He opened his eyes and looked to Cordelia and smiled, walking over to her as he did. "We will be needing a lot of access to some places, it might be better to tell you in secret and not out here." he held out a hand for her to shake.

Cordelia looked at him then down at his hand and nodded, a faint smile that faded into a serious look as she shook his hand. "Do you need me to teleport us anywhere?" she asked simply glancing to Zaku before settling eyes back on Zephyr, the question itself being directed toward the purple-haired Meta, meeting exactly eye-to-eye with him as she was the same height as him when she stood in her usual third position.
Zaku seemed a bit more at ease now that things were settled, her shoved his hands in his pockets. "I'll leave you both to it.. Cordelia will give you my number and we'll see what happens... I have to get back to tend to some things...." he paused, looking over at the tree with the gem and chuckled lightly in a bit of amusement, "...he's a talkative one, isn't he..." he muttered then turned, "....and thank you..." he spoke softly and began to walk off. He needed a little time to himself anyway as he walked through the trees, just listening to the voices as they spoke to him, a smile growing on his lips as he began to feel more at peace.

Shaking her hand, grinning, "No, we can actually just walk a little further into the trees, there's a not-too-used road a couple minutes behind you, so I'd prefer going deeper into the forest. There's a river about ten minutes east of here, we could talk about what I need there." Zephyr turned to look when he heard Zaku, going to wave at him, seeing him look at the tree with the gem in it curiously. Narrowing his eyes, he watched him a moment before leading Cordelia off towards the river.
