As she stood, Nuri took a step back to provide her room for whatever way she wished to go. He knew what it was like wanting privacy and to be alone, and he respected the space she most likely needed. But she didn't rush off, or move really much more than a few steps before speaking to him once more. He nodded again simply in response, agreeing with her. It was nice to see her officially, to get a name and a face to the mysterious girl that tamed the Keldari.
"You as well..I've met a few of your kind, but I must say this is the only real conversation I've had. I...appreciated the company."

What curiosity she had from his statement faded as she realized he was actually on Yael. That's where he got the creature, and most likely others as well. She knew a few Limbara were in the area, many of the army men and women who entered the area whispered of the interesting creatures and their experiences training them. But only Aseara seemed to have a tamed Keldari, which would float around her neck, and it brought in many curious residents until more arrived on the mainland.
"I didn't mind your company as well. Much more tolerable than the clucking dancers that fill these halls."
And with that, she turned her dulling eyes away, brushed a hand through her hair, and started for the door.

He was a bit taken by her poise, her coloring and her tenacity. He could tell in how she walked that she had pride, and for a moment he simply stared as she moved away. But then he caught himself, and in a last-ditch effort called out after her while she made way for the door.
"Itotia! I meant what I said, if you need assistance for me it is the least I can do for how you supported Aseara."
Maybe she'd pause, or maybe she'd ignore him, but he wanted to make sure she heard.

She was almost to the door when he spoke up, and she stilled her steps to listen. Visibly, her shoulders lifted with a heaving sigh, before she shook her head and turned slightly to look back toward him. She too studied him for a long second, eyes lidded and breath even, before shaking her head.
"The day I ask for support is the day I give up my independence. As appreciated as your offer is, I must again refuse. Save your dedication for Aseara, for the gods may still hold trials for her yet."
Then, a fleeting smile, before she turned and opened the door to return inside, to the chaos and her haven once more.

No words escaped Nuri as he watched her leave. He didn't call her back, or attempt any additional conversation. Instead, he simply moved to where she once sat, and settled there himself. He had a bit to think about, general thoughts of Yaeli as well as about the girl who was becoming Aseara's right-hand. But for now, he simply looked up at the bright blue sky, and let his mind wander as he waited until Aseara would have time to see him. He was finally home, and there was plenty of time in the future to work these thoughts out.
