His story: Ahava is aware of himself, of his strengths and his limitations. He is strong in his love, he is strong in his hope, he is working on his courage... He must work each day to be brave, to overcome any fear that may show itself, but he will do this because he knows it is worth it. Each day is worth it, each hurtle overcome will reveal rewards, each obstacle an unexpected gift.
The words, when they come, are not his words. Not words that he has said aloud, but words he has felt in his own heart. They ring with truth, striking a chord within him. He knows these words as surely as he knows the beat of his own heart, knows what it is like to be shaken by the feeling of loss, to be scared, yet elated all at once. He knows what it is like to have lost your path and found it all at once, to be suddenly adrift as you find all you have known is changed.
(I feel lost...) There are days he does not know where his path may lead, but he will walk it with his head held high. (and scared...) He will help those he encounters along the way, for he understands that their burdens may at times be beyond their strength to carry, or their path otherwise unclear to follow. He will show compassion to those he encounters, seeing them for what they truly are and willing to help them embrace that if they will accept it. (and happy...)

He is most content when he can be a teacher, a healer, a sympathetic ear and an offered shoulder. He will be their light, or their rock, or simply their friend. He will give them his strength to stand and his shoulder to lean on as they walk. He is here to offer his love, and his understanding, and most of all to Accept.

His story:He had always wanted to help others. Ever since he was a foal he would watch his mother cry herself to sleep and change for any stallion that took a fancy to her. His mother wasn't broken but lacked something in which he only yearned to help her fix.. Her self image was low. Was always beating herself up for things which wasn't her fault. Seeking to please others.. never learning to love herself..

As he grew older he started to understand that there are many versions of love.. Not just male and female but that those of the same gender could have that same sort of love that is such a wonderful thing. Elysium wished for that.. As he grew into adulthood he came to a point where he found it hard to come out to his mother. That he liked both genders. He loved everyone and to him that was enough. It was as he fully accepted this fact that he realized that there must be others that struggle with the same things in which he dealt with.

His mother always said that he was meant for something.. Though her words on where that calling was is simply something in which he could do.. His heart yearned and sang for a different tune. He felt compelled to help those struggling to come to accept their differences. To accept their sexual orientation and to move them along their journey. So to this calling he followed.

Moving forth away from all that he had known. He sought out those in need of assistance.. Those in need of a mentor.. Those that had wisdom in which he could use to help others transition into their own beings. He sought all these beings and in each meeting he learned something new from it. Along with gaining a new appreciation for life and the beings around him. He learned to fear and respect the boundaries of skinwalkers. Yet even they couldn't stop him from loving everyone. They are beings too. Even though in his mind they are lost in urges of a different kind.

His heart feels the pain, the anguish, the grief of the pain and suffering from those he speaks with. He feels their joy.. their triumph and pride as if it is his own. He is just so full of love.. Bursting with it. Only wanting to spread it with others. And this is more than what he could ever have dreamed of. This was where he was meant to be. This was what he knows he was meant to do.

Elysium never realized that his gift was something more.. That he had a power. In his mind it was always just some knack that he had to be able to help others. To teach them how to love themselves. To accept themselves completely for who they are. Though maybe that was for the best.
