Hexxis blinked, a sharp and sudden strike through her chest as he answered. She watched him come to a stand, her eyes fixated on him as her bland expression faded into something else, but it was unsure what, her eyes softening into pain and a frown took over her face. The world felt like it could collapse around them as his words shot deep. Pointing out her lack of understand tore through her as she felt like the words could physically rip down to the core. A dull ache in her chest washed over into a heated roar as it threatened to burn her from within as she remained silent, hanging onto every word. His voice slipped away for a moment, almost like she had been submerged underwater but she forced herself to listen despite the pain it caused. He suggested she leave Zephyr and the pain only intensified, her eyes stung as they threatened to well up with tears but didn't. How long had she been holding her breath? She exhaled shakily as the rest of his statement didn't seem to reach her, almost visibly shutting down as her gaze drifted to the floor. She just sat there for quite a number of minutes before slowly coming to a stand and moving to the kitchen to turn off the stove and burners. She then moved to the door and picked up something off the floor, slipping it into her pocket before resting a hand on the door and sighed. Taking in a deep breath she turned to Tri, her face slightly blank but had glints of pain but also a sense of determination. "I had stated before that I had no attachment to the profession. As such, if you were to tell me to leave Zephyr.. I would." she paused and stepped toward him. "And I have." she stated simply. "The name I made was for Zero, not Hexxis." her voice was calm and steady now as she spoke, "I still do not know how to tell you what it is that caused my actions or what to do with the idea that something is wrong. But if you will allow me to return, I would like to go with you both." she offered quietly. "That is the decision I have made... if you will grant it."

Tri watched her pain but didn't regrets his words, standing by them as he watched her moved from them. The pain on her face echoed his own as he let out a soft sigh as he moved to respond.

"No, Hexxis just no. Tell me you left us, your willing to leave the guy you just proclaimed your love for, and now you are leaving something you obviously have a skill in. You have no loyalty. Tri might take you back and that might be all that matters but I don't trust you. it didn't even pass your mind that what you did was pretty gervious and now you want us to act like nothing happened?" He said harshly the light in his eyes returning.

She shifted her gaze to Ree, steady and calm. "I regret that you have to question my loyalty, but I assure you my loyalty always lays with Tri. You do not have to accept it, in fact, it would be unreasonable to ask that of either of you. I left. My reasoning is blurred even to myself, and my actions may seem irregular, however, it is what I felt was necessary to ensure your safety. It was... a fault that I did not realize the extent of the grief and injuries I would cause by my absence. I apologize for that. As for Zephyr, I leave him with an understanding of why I am leaving. He already knew how I felt, and if given an opportunity, encouraged me to return but only if I felt it was something I wanted." she kept her eyes locked on Ree as she spoke now, her expression never seeming to falter. "I may have the skill to be a mercenary but it is not what I aspire for. I desire to stay with those I consider my family, even if they can never trust me for the behavior I have displayed." she looked to Tri only for a moment before closing her eyes. "You are at every right to never trust me again, I can accept that. I have earned that doubt, much to my discomfort and wish to have chosen a different path. I feel, that if I could only impart what I know, you could understand why." she began to frown slightly again. "I would like to go... even if it is just to stay together..." she commented softly. It hurt, but she could deal with the pain if it meant being able to return to Tri. "...please." she muttered quietly, her eyes shifting downward once again.

Tri, only Tri not them. Ree stared quietly at her and shook his head "Everything is so convenient now, get up and drop what you were doing to return to what you left before...or literally anything else that catches your interest. Mara told us you said you never had any intention of calling us back and now you are here nearly begging to come with us." he said with a sigh, trying to keep the anger down. " You don't even stand up for that so-called love. We are all being a bit to accommodating if you think that you can jump from here to there and back " he narrowed his eyes and this time looked at Tri as he said the words and back to Hexxis.

"Your feckless, with some mysterious goal that you can't even tell us about. You left to save us now you want to return while everything is still the same." he walked to her other side so he could at least keep the windows and door in view encase it was a trap. "You make no compromises. It's just sorry sorry sorry it's my fault... but nothing changes." he frowned at her and puts his hands in his pockets as he furled his wings in closely.

"We've been looking for you since the day you left...do you even remember the day you left? Because I go back to the hotel room with my brains pretty much addled thinking an EE member is my best friend in the world and Tri is here howling like a lunatic trying to get to Mara while attempting to kill me and an image of you. " he kept his gaze on her and forced himself to calm down again. "Some days later, while out searching for you he gets shot and sent to a hospital dying of blood loss. Then we finally find you by completely random chance...and you don't care." he looked at her blankly.

"You have a partner..a job you excel at even if you don't like it. Yet you're willing to drop all of that again to do something else. Take some responsibility for once, what will you do differently if you do come with us? What won't you do? All I can see is that Tri told you he might have some information and now you're here trying to get close again. A more subtle version of a seduction.. isn't that right? Get the information, tell your partner get out all in the name of "safety"?. Maybe it's not the merc we have to worry about but you. You're less trustworthy than he is " he stayed where he was watching her with only a flicker of anger.
-------------------------

Tri looked at Ree and frowned, making this a figth between them both was not what he wanted to do. At the same time he was angry, he was angry she left them for that kind of person even if she had a reason. He... didn't know what to do. It would be easier if she decided as Ree was trying to push her into doing, but in the long term it would just break down from resentment. "Ree, enough. Hex-

"It's not enough. If you don't want to hear her response I do. I want to know why we had to go running around when it never mattered to her. A quick text or message would have allowed us to just stayed hiding not ..." he waved a hand. "experience everything that happened while she she was here trying to play at being human" he said never looking away, not mentioning Anadii. That was an silently agreed thing, not to mention the computer meta to mercs.

"Nothing about this is convenient for me, brother. I never wanted to be here. What I found here, I pieced together, building some sort of foundation to gain the knowledge I needed to make sure I was not a problem. Only to find that there is no escaping that aspect of myself. It was absolutely true that I had no intentions of calling, I left a note. I could not call any of you out of concern for questions that I cannot answer. Even being here now was a risk but I had done nothing but think about you both since I realized I had left." she started in, her voice still calm but stern, not backing down. "I understand that it can never be the same after what I did, I have to accept that fact. Yet, I still have this desire to stay with you. It is beyond my comprehension at this time to understand why I feel such a strong desire to remain with my family even despite the pain it causes. Even so, I would not know what to offer as compromise. I have nothing to give and everything to lose. I give up Zephyr as my compromise to come back from what it seemed like. If not that, I would willingly give up everything to return, even if the circumstances of that return are never the same as before."

She paused as he began to explain what they went through to find her, her expression fading into concern, pain, fear, regret. All clear upon her face as she heard everything that she had hoped wouldn't happen. So Tri had lied about his injuries being her fault. It had been acquired during their search for her. Her heart was sinking and her stomach was in a knot, wrought with a terrible feeling of cold distress. She instinctively reached a hand up to her mouth as tears built up in her eyes. She couldn't find the words to speak as she slowly moved her gaze from Ree to Tri.

Taking a deep but fragile breath, she lowered her hand, trying to choke back the emotions that threatened to surface, "Of course I would drop all that for this. I wanted to stay the whole time, and I don't know why I left. I don't understand, but still I chose to keep myself away. I assumed it would keep me from hurting anyone and I was wrong. I admit that. I regret it. It hurts, and even still I would accept any punishment given for disobeying orders, abandoning my family, and failure to produce reasoning. It's.. all my fault." her voice cracked slightly from the pressure as she tried desperately to keep her blank exterior. "...it always mattered to me, brother." she spoke softly before his final sentence struck something deep within her. Play at being human. Was that all she was doing? Just pretending to be a human. Of course, she was only a weapon. She wasn't meant to feel emotions, and yet they were there. She struggled, completely frozen staring solely at Ree, a slight widenness to her eyes as she thought about what to say. What to do.

Are you a person? Or are you a weapon?

Fight or shut the hell up. Her breath quicken as she did her best to stay in control of her emotions. "This has nothing to do with Zephyr or the information. It's simply the desire to be.. together." she had paused, her voice dropping as she spoke the last word, almost defeatedly. She was less trustworthy than the mercenary she had been warned about. Her head was beginning to hurt as she placed a hand to it and steadied her breath. "If I am not understanding, and I am causing such issues... Then rather than yell at me..." she strained a bit as her gaze began to harden with Ree. "Then help me understand!" she raised her voice slightly, almost as if to yell even though her voice remained almost the same in it's robotic nature, flecks of anger surfacing now. She kept a hand firmly on her head as she took another shaky breath. "You insist on making accusations and insinuations while I am unable to do neither. I only had the plain request to return regardless of my status even understanding if it were to never change. If I cannot be trusted, allow me to prove that trust. Whatever it is you desire to see to prove my loyalty, I would. I have done wrong and I wish to make it right, or at least show that it was never what I intended even if it will not heal the metaphorical.... and physical wounds that I have caused."
PostPosted: Sat Jun 11, 2016 3:09 am

Ree frowned "I am not yelling at you. I am telling you to figure out what you want and stick to it. " he said staring at her intently. " I make accusations and insinuations because I have no idea what you want to do. I can't make you understand what you want, you have to figure that out yourself" watching the play of emotions cross her face, something she would never have show before and he just felt... cold, lacking the sympathy he should have.

Tri looked guilty as he saw her expression once Ree told her what happened. He would.... he was still heavily affected by everything. "I is not you fault. " he frowned at Ree. "It is a hazard as you know and I was not paying attention" trailing off as Ree continued and he felt at loss on how to stop them from ripping at each other. Ree from frustration and fear and Hexxis from pain and possibly anger.

"If I were you.. I would fight for who I loved, not easily throw them away. It does not mean I accept who you picked, it is just that I would not let anyone doubt my intentions and make them understand where I stand." he flared his wings out slightly as he motioned with his hands then looked disappointed. " You are still just like a weapon, looking around for a hand to wield you and lead you down some path. Only now you are a little more aware " he shook his head, if he had a reason he would get close to her... use her, but he had no need and she just left him cold as if something had died. These were not the feeling of meeting someone long thought gone.

"Did you even question if this feeling of staying near to us...no Tri, even had anything to do with that mysterious thing you can't say?" he lowered his wings tired of all of this, just a complete waste of time. He would have ot talk tot he only person whi might be able to give them an idea into Hexxis mind and tell them if she was plotting something. "Also I am not brother. My name is Ree, and I want to talk to Ash"
-------------------

Tri grimaced and moved finally to stand between them tiredly. "Stop this both of you. " he said sternly while Ree never looked away from Hexxis, onl reminds him how had he had raised them.

She was clenching her teeth now, her breath quickened even though it only seemed harder to breathe, hand still firm against her head. Her anger only seemed to build. "And I am telling I want to go!" she exclaimed, much more forcefully now. She seemed to ignore Tri's correction to the insinuation of his injuries. As Ree continued, her glare intensified as her heart picked up pace, adrenaline already seeming to kick in in the heat of the moment. "I love them both, brother. Just as I want to feel the same way about you as well but I barely know you. I want to know you too. You could not understand the relationship I have with Zephyr. I love him and he understands what it is that I wanted so we agreed I would go. Because he loves me too! I am not betraying him, and I am not giving up my love. It will always be there. He understands how important you both are to me and will let me choose the path I want and let me go where it is I want to go. Unlike others who seem to place constant obstacles in my path and impede me from the things I want! I just wanted to go as a family and stay together. Let me go!!" she was yelling, her heart racing, her breathe was deep and her eyes burning with fury. Her mind was buzzing now, so much that she doubted she could hear anything else even if an attempt was made.

As he brought forth the question that her desire to stay might be a result of what was wrong with her, she paused, her eyes widening and tears built up even faster but stayed. "Don't you think I have considered such things? Every move I make is dangerous now that I know something is wrong. I want you to understand but I don't know how. I may have left for reasons beyond my control but I chose not to come back because I did not want to be the one that hurts either of you. Yet I still feel compelled to come back and I am still unsure why the urge is there or what it means. I just want to understand it, and Tri has shown he is willing to help but you don't appear to feel the same way." her voice was suddenly calm, lower but her body was trembling with anger as it refused to stop. He insinuated that she not call him her brother, she completely froze up and merely stared at Ree before narrowing her eyes in pain and despair as tears began to spill down her face. A burning started into her chest like a hot knife, threatening to pierce her all the way through.

Tri told them to stop as she shifted her eyes to the floor and took a step back and just stood there. The pain was immense as her heart only seemed to beat faster and her head continued to roar with a dull noise that made it hard to hear anything. He wanted to talk to Ashral, and she didn't know how to respond. She remained quiet, just letting Tri's command take control of the situation as she slowly moved her hand down from her head down to her side.
PostPosted: Sat Jun 11, 2016 12:06 pm

Ree stared at her quietly, the anger shimmering under the surface but at the same time he felt jealousy combined with a discomforting fleeing of hot and cold running through him as if he were fighting for control of himself and his emotions. Maybe it was not only the fact he felt she was untrustworthy that bothered him but that she found something and was willing to give it up. No...maybe not give it up but pull Tri to work with her and merc and he just get dragged along for the ride because of just a name.

Just as she said she didn't know him he didn't know her....he wanted to trust her but she always said a sentence here or there that he couldn't believe she would say. It also showed how she viewed him and there was no future there, a tightening noose he wanted to rip from.

He stared at her closely as tears ran down her face, his words obviously hurt her deeply. Yet, the only thing he felt for her, not her words, was apathy with a small hint of dark satisfaction that he didn't want to think to much about. He didn't feel about her the same way she felt, it didn't help that the day she left was the day they actually talked and start to developing closer bonds that were snapped some minutes later, followed by trying to chase her down.

Tri might not feel the same way but he was furious for what happened and what they found. Tri's injury was not directly her fault but now? She might apologize and want to come with them but he could only feel suspicion....but how else to regain trust than to offer an oppertunity..except he didn't want to..to many things on the negative side than not.Even with what he knew of her there was sympathy but not enough, he would be willing to help her just not be with her..not that it likely matters since she was only intrested in Tri. Yet there was still Ash..maybe she can give him a different view of this.

"Let you go? Then fine come if Tri agrees, but know I don't trust you. And I know you don't care. Now Ash" he said sternly, narrowing his eyes as she looked to the flood and Tri tensed going from confused to alert. "...." Looking toward the kitchen table he pulled the knife she was using before with telekinisis and let it rushed past it hand letting it cut him deeply before it clattered to the floor and slide under the table. "Ash." He said as he put his bleeding hand in front of Hexxis's eyes.

Her fury only continued to build as the silence only seemed to echo though the house. She could feel Ree's burning gaze as she waited for either of them to say something, anything. The silence was almost deafening as she clenched her fists at he side. Ree spoke again, his voice so stern, it cut deep as she ignored his second demand for Ashral. She turned to look at Tri, burning determination in her eyes. "Tri.. please take me with you." she demanded quietly. She was concentrated on that one thought so much that she had barely noticed the knife being moved until it was much too late and Ree was bleeding. Her eyes widening at the sight of blood as she closed her eyes suddenly and she shoved his hand away. "Ree, don't!" she exclaimed in a slight panic. She backed up, keeping her vision away for a moment, while she tried to get her breathing to calm back down. She had to tell him, there would be no use hiding it now. Maybe she could reason with him, and they could find her and possibly help her too, though it was doubtful. She knew where this was going, and she had no other options. She took a deep breath and turned to look at him, blood or otherwise, a tension building within her stomach just to look. [Nullfiy: Sight Teleport 15 minutes/ Soul Light has ended by now] Her eyes were stern but pain as she glanced to Tri. "I am forced to tell him, I will not lie to him... please forgive me." she spoke in a quiet tone then back to Ree and frowned. "She's... gone now." she confessed and shifted her eyes away. She didn't know what else to say. He was likely to hate her until the end, but still she refused to lie to him anyway. It wouldn't be fair to him, she opened her mouth to say something else but her breath wouldn't cooperate long enough to speak.

"I am forced to tell him, I will not lie to him... please forgive me."

A feeling of dread ran through him as he looked to Tri then back to Hexxis while blood dripped from his hand. Seconds later Hexxis confirmed what he had already pieces together between those two sentences. The pain in his heart was stronger than the sting on his hand but he slowly healed it anyways while staring at them with growing anger. No future here. (Healing lvl 4)

Tri shook his head as he took a step toward them having gone quiet when it looked like they were absorbed in each other's words. He knew he should have stepped in but he wasn't even sure what he would have said, they were both right in their own way. That was his fault, they might have gone past this without Ree asking for Ash if he had reacted sooner and kept them distracted, or just hit brought Ree at all except he knew he would need help checking out the house. He trusted Hexxis but not her partner, so it was better safe than sorry.

"She left with Hexxis last job. Don't follow her because she will just kill you. There is no contract now, everything was fulfilled so you would just be putting yourself in needless danger" he said with a stern look toward Ree before looking at Hexxis. "You can come with us...if you don't communicate with Zephyr any more " he said quietly missing the pained look in Ree's eyes that faded to the dead look he had earlier.

Staring at them quietly he looked toward the nearest window and tried to teleport, only to have nothing happened. Staring back ,eye wide in surpise, he focused on Hexxis and glared hatefully. " What is the point, you're going to get what you want anyways and forget the rest. Like being a Merc...you're a good one right? Why don't you do something actually useful. Hexxis, take out the trash on Zaku Shiroi " grabbing the only person he knew she knew and likely wouldn't find. "Instead of bothering us?"

The noise in her mind was loud now, her heart was starting to hurt just like it had in the hospital room and when she failed her mission. It threatened to stop her heart once more as she reached a hand up to clutch at her chest. Tri was trying to help explain, and he was right, Ree would be an idiot to pursue Ashral after their deal was broken. "...Ree, ... please understand that I don't want either of you to be hurt. I was only trying to protect you. She has nothing tied to you anymore and she will not hesitate to kill you now. Please.." she looked to Tri, a pain in her eyes as she grasped at her chest tighter, "...Tri.. I-..." she was about to explain something, and even so say her peace on the matter when Ree started in suddenly, his words causing a fury to ignite as she turned to retort with unbridled anger but his words rang out in her mind and echoed.

'Hexxis, take out the trash on Zaku Shiori.'

The pounding in her heart thrashed hard and then died down to an immediate calm. Her face faded to a completely blank expression. "Understood. Take out Zaku Shiori." she spoke in the most robotic tone, far more monotone than she even spoke when Tri first met her. Her hand fell to her side and her mind went completely blank. She came to a stand and turned to walk out of the house without another word. Beginning to walk northward, silent and her expression dead.
PostPosted: Sat Jun 11, 2016 4:42 pm

Tri waited quietly, frowning as Ree spoke bitterly but not looking away from Hexxis. She was furious and he let out a mental sigh "R-.." He trailed off ready to tell him to stop or leave for a bit when Hexxis just changed. Not a good change, it looked almost like her emerging personality was sucked right out of her body leaving only the shell...worse than when he first met her.

"Hexxis?!" He called out to her taking a few steps then turning on Ree, his face showed a look of disbelief and anger. "What did you do?!" He flared his top wings ignoring the pain and glancing back after Hexxis as she walked out the door, no sign of stopping.

Ree had a faint look of relief that it worked correctly before Tri turned on him angrily. He held his ground and motioned after her with a wing. " Hunting Zaku, she'll stop in about 24 hours or when he is dead. Considering how sneaky he is, likely 24 hours" he said carefully as the shadows started to gather in the room then dissipated.

"You gave her a command!" he yelled moving toward the door as adrenaline washed through him. "One that wasn't in her fi-...there were more weren't there?! Are you that selfish and jealous!? We were trying to save you" he moved to the door and paused at the threshold watching her from where he was. "Make her stop!"

Ree looked pained but didn't follow. "24 hours. Don't get in her way"he said quietly as Tri gave him a look of disgust as left after Hexxis. Ree stared after them //selfish, egoistic, murdering idiot. Maybe I should just be what everyone views me as// glancing down he pulled out his phone only to realize they never set any protocols on how to get in touch with Anadii, another try of his teleport showed the power was gone. "Damn it" he hissed softly, glancing toward the door again. Well Hexxis will be happy once she wakes up...he needed to get back to the hotel or he could go and just grab the pack they have hidden in Belrad and avoid Mara.

Finally moving out of the house he looked around feeling vulnerable as he hasn't felt in a long time. Stupid Hexxis, why didn't she just stick to something ...and now he was here doing almost the same. Tri should be okay enough ..he would call Mara and she should be close by...which means Ash...she was she? If they had it hidden from him she must still be around, and where would she gone once she was out? Tree...she would go to the darn tree if it was still up all this time later. Kalares wasn't that far off of a flight and he still had the map. Turning he oriented himself and took wing.

Hexxis merely continued walking northward, her expression still completely blank as she seemed not to care about anything else at all and not a single thought ran through her mind. Focused ahead as her stride was normal, merely walking with no intentions of stopping.

Tri quickly caught up with her and tried to stop her by holding on to her shoulders. "Hexxis!" He said quietly trying not to bring to much attention to them but also trying to stop or wake her up. Ree said not to try and stop her but he didn't care, he had to try something.

She was unresponsive to any means to stop her as she said nothing. As he tried to hold her shoulders, she jerked away, not even looking at him as she kept trying to walk. The call of her name fell on deaf ears, no words, no expression, only the robotic movement of moving toward a goal. She made no effort to really fight him but just remove herself from his grasp.
