It blinked, nodding a little in response as its features slowly melded back into a blank, unreadable expression. "I do not see why I cannot simply erase my records from their system. Or all systems, for that matter. It was simple enough to remove warrants, I am certain that I could remove myself from their possession if I tried." It would have to look into the laws... as illogical and unnecessary as it seemed. Why were things different on account of it being a Meta? It made no sense according to the rules it had been taught.
Were you taught correctly?
Its lights flickered momentarily, flashing red briefly as it stumbled over that simple question... Was it taught correctly? Was its base coding accurate? If it wasn't, how would it even know? Was it fixable? Would discovering the faulty codes cause further problems if it couldn't simply repair them?
Too many questions. Too much to handle at once... Though externally all it seemed to do was blink and perhaps stiffen up just a little more than usual...
"I have many questions but I do not think it is appropriate. What is it that administrator Tri wanted me to share with you?" Well... the files were on his computer, but it could at least direct her to where they were.

"Hah! because you're not the only one who has tried. Plus they aren't mindless drones, they will figure out that their property isn't back or that the warrant is missing...eventually. I mean it will stop random people from going after you for a long while but not the main group all together" she grinned as if she had some experience.
"Well that is warrant wise. For ownership..if you start erasing documents and they don't have any hard copies that will -really- mess them up. Tri mention you can hack into systems right? I wouldn't be surprised they didn't go rushing to secure some hard copies...at least -I- would have done that. " she kept on grinning as she let the laptop load and turned her attention to Anadii.
"Still if they can't prove ownership it can make for some interesting something-year long trials. Still not something you would want to get into ....questions? what kind of questions? and why don't you think they are appropriate? also looking for the files on Hexxis. He said you were able to take some for Haven...props on that. big props on that that makes you pretty dangerous actually..." looks up at him and narrows her eyes. ".... no hacking SIU kay?" as if that will stop him but she was feeling in to much of a good mood to think to hard on that. "he also mentioned you were unable to hack into one file?" slowly turning serious again.

"Then I suppose they must be eliminated." The flat tone really betrayed the meaning of that sentence... it didn't really understand the gravity of it- what "elimination" could mean in this case. It would look into Belosh, but in the off chance that it wasn't a suitable place for something like itself to live, it refused to bend to illogical rules. "Yes, I am capable of accessing most systems with low to moderate security. High security systems do not bend to my will very often, it is difficult to speak to them."
Would they have hard copies...? Probably, it could look through the printing records if it wanted to... So much to do later when it wasn't in use... "There are far too many to ask. I do not know what will happen should I ask them. It is possible that I can answer them if I look through my own source files, but I..." It trailed off, averting its gaze for a moment. "Have a strange hesitation to do so. I do not know if Administrator Ree relayed the information, but when I inquired into my medical history file, I had to initiate an emergency shut down sequence." It... did not want to do that again.
"Am I dangerous simply because I am able to do the things that I was built for? Yes, there is one high security file in her collection that I was unable to access. I have not tried again since acquiring the file." The command file... it had one of its own.

Mara froze and frowned at the word he used. "Eliminated? how do you plan to do that?" her voice taking of a more serious tone, a warning as she looked at him closely. "You do understand what that means? It means to destroy or kill something so it isn't an problem. " she said quietly watching him, waiting for his answer before getting distracted by everything else. "Is that what you mean, to destroy or kill the people in Teldhet? " she asked seriously.

Teldhet killed people regularly - as long as they were criminals it didn't matter, or as long as they were defending themselves... Anadii would be defending itself, wouldn't it? "I will remove them from my system, and I from theirs." It paused, mind processing as it came to the realization that simply removing itself from their system wouldn't last forever...
"Yes. If it is necessary to kill then so be it. They do the same. They are like malware that needs an antivirus to clear it out."

"No, bad analogy. " she got up and paced to him, looking down at the green glow of his eyes. Starting to wonder if the change in color of his light also meant emotion or something else.
"If you start killing living beings without following the sy-........." she put her hand to her head, of course metas were outside the law even if it was applied to them only when convenient. "You kill them you will be hunted worse than you are now. Living beings aren't computer code, they can't be re-made or brought back. They aren't malware or antivirus they are technically both. You start killing them you will only make things worse for all metas not only yourself" she continued staring down at him."The real world isn't computer code. Computer code is a pale simile of the real world. Do you understand that? No killing..they might do it but they are also following a system ..it doesn't mean you have too "oh goodness if it started to think killing was a good thing, just darn

Anadii focused its gaze on Mara, unblinking and seemingly unreacting as she explained. The hum of its thoughts sprung up again, distracting, overwhelming as it tried to sort through them all in a timely manner, but these weren't really programs it could just shut down if it got to be too much...
Trapped.
It was trapped. It couldn't use their system to protect itself, but it also couldn't act outside of the system either.
Again that strange coolness in the back of its head started up, tingling and running down its spine to settle in its stomach as a cold sort of pit. Ree had asked about this- what did it mean? It didn't like it, it didn't like the way it made its housing unit stiffen beyond its control. Why wouldn't it move? It was trying to move its hands, wasn't it? Move its legs? Neither were responding.
"Partial system failure: initiating limited restart." It blurted out, desperately attempting to restart itself- but nothing was working... Why wasn't it working?
It's fake.

The file wasn't real. Its knowledge of the world apparently wasn't real- at least according to this person... It finally blinked, hands and arms unfreezing enough to cradle its face. So many questions- so many unknowns- it couldn't process it all. "Total system failure imminent. There are too many programs in use."

"Huh ...What?" Mara stared at him as it froze then looked..panicked? Muteering something about restarts and system failure....wait...system failure?!. It was having a panic attack? Ah sh**!
"........ " Mara watched it cradle his own face and groan moving to him, having no idea what to do. She just didn't expect him to break down at all, not with the words it was using. ".....Shhh.. it's okay. Kinda....." okay not Tri...Ree? Both of them..she usually just calmed them with a hug and a pat when they were little.
Moving closer she gave him a hug, reaching out to pat his hair, hoping not to get shocked or something.

Pressure was being applied to its housing unit... a pat on the head?
"Force quit Technokinesis.exe." It mumbled into its hands, attempting to stop itself from reaching out to anything near by before it could do any damage. The attempt seemed to work- or was it the pressure? It couldn't recall ever being touched in this way.
"I am not processing this well. There are too many unknowns in the equation for it to be solved." The coldness in its stomach seemed to be subsiding - for now, anyway. Should it ask? It seemed important enough to Ree to mention. "I am feeling cold. I do not normally experience physical sensation. I do not understand what this sensation is."

Mara kept stroking his hair because she really had no other idea what else to do..and it seemed to help? At least he was talking in complete sentences.....not that he wasn't before. "Yes, life is pretty much full of unknown variables and stuff. You just kind of roll with it and do the best you can" she said with a faint shrug.
"Cold...uh you don't? " she said in surprise, so why was she supposed to know?!.
" Fear? "she guessed, that was the only thing that came to mind..the only explanation for what she saw, that or he was about to faint from low blood pressure. "...want another sweater?" she asked weakly.

"Computers do not 'roll with it.'" It mumbled in response, a kneejerk reaction, really. It was comforting to default to its original settings, the knowledge of not being alive was just... simpler than knowing that wasn't true. The coldness... seemed to be fading somewhat, as far as it could tell. "No, I do not. Administrator Ree contacted another Still Life who stated that was normal... That was shortly after my previous system failure. He had asked if I felt hot or cold." It blinked, finally shifting a little to pull its hands away from its face, but made no movement to pull away from Mara herself.
"...I do not know if a sweater will help. It is internal." Fear... Ree had said the feeling it felt in the ambulance was fear. Was this also fear? It seemed... similar, but different...

Mara smirked slightly at the comment of computer not rolling with it, sure they did they just needed a steep enough hill. Stupid thought stupid thought stupid thought.
"Some how I am not surprised he knows one" she sighed, he likely had friends here and there, it's not like he went and called the Renegades or Sanctuary for help.
"So you had a previous system failure.... " that she wasn't aware of, meaning Tri did not know either and she had been..reluctant to speak to Ree yet. "Where Ree asked you if you felt hot or cold... I have no idea what he was thinking" she muttered exasperated since it really depended on what happened last time and what Ree was looking for.
"Give me a moment..." she sigh still thinking about it but it could be anything. "I don't know, fear makes you cold but so do a lot of other things. " she muttered looking down at him. "So ...what were you thinking both times when you had a system failure?" know she was just begging for a third one to happen by asking this.

"Yes, upon reading my medical files from Haven." It responded quietly, a little... disappointed? Was that the word? That Mara didn't know what Ree had been looking for with the questions... "There were too many thoughts to process, I am unused to having them. I do not like learning that there is a high chance that everything I have been taught until now was a lie. That my base coding is flawed and in need of repairing. If it is wrong, how do I know where to find the error? A flawed base effects the whole system." It wasn't even sure if Mara would understand at this point- the words just kept flowing out.
"The fact that I may have been set up incorrectly and have no way of finding out what was flawed in my initial creation is..." It trailed off, looking for the word... What was it? It wasn't one that could lie solely in logic. "It makes the cold feeling reappear. It is somewhat similar to when Administrator Tri was injured, but my sensors are not alerting me to danger."

"Haven? Wait....Teldhet is working with Haven? Well...sh**" that was one more company off her list of possible allies. After the sh** Asriel did with Kae and the files for their metas she was pissed.
"So....yea. That likely means you're all kinds of messed up. I guess....you need to ..." Trailing off she kept stroking his head looking around the room as if looking for something to help her say what she wanted to say. "Remake things from the base up. Similiar to a new foundation....how about we watch some TV? Some children programing have perfect moral lessons..like not killing and mercy " she muttered the last past as she started to let go, watching him for any changes as she did so.
