Saiga GirikoSaiga had just been relaxing against the wall, when her phone started to beep at her lightly. She flicked it open to hear a familiar voice..calling to her."No mission this time...Giriko." Obeyln's voice called over the phone, per-empting any questions she would have in that regard. "I just thought i should tell you....As a girl that bonded with my Family..and a key factor in this war..."
There was a heavy pause in the word family....Saiga able to hear the mourning in his voice. Yet, he didn't let it stop him from speaking...Fighting through the sadness.
"There's a path you can take. Under the world called the Amala network.""Amala network.." she repeated, looking at her feet. 'Where can it take me?""Heh..just about anywhere that's still standing." the serpent called, in a lighter tone. "Just...watch yourself. There are powerful foes afoot...and I'd hate to lose..."An awkward silence filled the air, before Saiga clicked the phone closed...Not wanting to make him complete that sentence. She sighed, and looked down, at her own blistering hands...Well, blistering, and slightly marred.

 Youmu KonpakuThe girl moved around Tokyo in a sort of daze, relieved she'd been able to save another student..But still worried.
"What..what am I even doing.." she thought as she thoughtlessly cut through a horde of demons. She was fighting...but, she wasn't sure what for.
Obeyln had helped them, but he didn't direct her as much as the others...And the other warring factions were still out of her grasp. She sighed, cutting the last demon in twain...Before seeing a familiar face over the Horizon, looking lost, and confused....Or, just generally tired. She rubbed her eyes, before double-checking....Starting forward in a sprint towards him.
"Myon-Senpai? Myon-Senpai!!!!!"

He chuckled as the demon burst into Magnetite, and rolled over onto his back, giving the girl an easy smile.
"Hey, Konpaku. You look like you've seen a ghost."
His eyes looked into hers for a few moments, confirming it was her. She seemed..different somehow....Changed....But, the same, soft features about her. Even with the world going to s**t around them...She could keep herself together. More than he felt he could.

Youmu KonpakuSo many words wanted to come out at this. Words of apology..of disbelief....Of how she'd gotten stronger...Of how she would protect him from there...of how relieved she was he was okay....
So many words...That they all got cluttered up in her throat before she could speak them. She kept opening and closing her mouth to try to form the words, fruitlessly....Looking into his eyes, and confirming yes...
It was him. The same, sarcastic Senior she'd met in Aiya's...The same one that endured that hell of a school...and the one that she had been back and forth saving for this entire day. His little quip seemed to spring tears to her own eyes at this, as she let out a sound akin to a whimper, that degraded into a sob. She knelt down over the boy, starting to openly sob into his shoulder at this, squeezing him with all of her might...As if he would disappear if she gave it any less.
'M..Myon Senpai..' she thought quietly, letting out all of her worries...her anxieties, and her troubles out onto his shoulder. She was a sniveling, hiccuping, crying mess....But, she was so relieved....So glad he was alive....and glad that she had found him again. As if he was a rock, in this wasteland of Earth.....
She..cared a lot more for the boy than she wanted to admit, it seemed...And, even as other demons circled the area, they all gave way to the two, giving them their own private moment. Nothing happened to break the tension...To take her away...and to make them part.

Yet another bounty mission from the big man himself....and, once more, she was finding herself in the secretive end of things. Even with her..less than impressive demon, she grasped the attention of the target...Juuuust long enough for the Kodama to bash it's head in....Saiga having to barely do any work this time to slam her cybernetic fist into it. She lightly wiped the blood from her body, before pulling out her phone again, dipping into the auction as she called back Obeyln.

Saiga GirikoSaiga had stopped saying it at this point.....his faith in her abilities was already shown to be founded. Even with inferior demons to other summoners, Saiga was able to overcome her own battles...
"Though.." she called out quietly, the Kodama circling around their target. No sooner had the enemy reached in for the kill, did her newer demon flutter by, and send out a surge of energy. Zhen....
'Still looks like some kind of...rainbow dodo' she thought, as she lunged in, and brought down the pipe on her target's head. The two demons helped out in any way they could, giving the demon beneath them no chance in making it out. Soon enough, it stopped moving...and returned to Magnetite....Leaving Saiga to wipe her brow.

The girl moved over at this, picking her arm up off the ground, and re-attacking it again.

"With my feet planted firmly upon the lands of those who came before, I seek to create a better tomorrow for those who are yet to come..."He had moved swiftly towards the door when it slung open in the usual hasty way that Sera had about her, but the look on her face was anything but normal. There was a legitimate annoyance, panic, and confusion there which meant that she had already seen what he had seen and probably considered many of the same possibilities which he had poured over in the short time since this began. That was good, the less time that they had to waste explaining the situation to one another the better. He took her hand and nudged Ser Pounce on his shoulder to wake her so that she could be alert and move with him when necessary, and then stepped outside of the room without another thought, coming face-to-face with a Kobold that aimed to take his head off with a club in a single strike. Reacting in a fraction of an instant, his heel spun and smashed the canine devil into the wall face-first...before he flipped his phone open and summoned the Preta he'd seen inside, allowing it to finish the beast off with a little blast of Fire. He'd had to drop Sera's hand for a moment, but he picked it up a moment later without a hint of panic...almost as though he hadn't just been attacked out of nowhere by a demon of the apocalypse and taken it out with an almost ninja-like skill.
He glanced at her instead with his calculating, trademark Mori eyes and nodded towards the back staircase, the one that was less likely to be overrun since its doors were typically locked and harder to get into. If they could slip into the alleys, there was an increased risk of being cornered, but a much higher likelihood that they could reach the Shogun's Residence without encountering a larger horde of devils that might overwhelm them. This was the safest route for now; in this world, he estimated, every action would come with an unfair risk-reward ratio that leaned far too heavily toward the former. All you could do was minimize the risk and gamble only when necessary. With that in mind, he guided her towards the back staircase smoothly, only speaking in a quiet, serious tone as they started down the stairs towards the exit.
"If we stay together, our odds of survival will increase. Sera, you saw what was outside, did you not?" he spoke, making sure that she understood what she had seen and grasped right away the severity of the situation. Any hesitation or uncertainty could lead to a mistake that would be fatal. "It's only an educated guess at this point, but I believe that this world has experienced an Apocalyptic Calamity known as the Conception...an event which prefaces the end and new beginning of the world...as a result of a war between Lucifer and the Trickster God Loki over dominion in Hell. Nowhere will be entirely safe anymore, but if anyone knows how to survive an event of this magnitude, it would be my father. I'm taking us to the Imperial Estate where the Shogun is currently living with Emperor Cid. Sera...are you okay with this plan?'
He paused just before they reached the bottom of the stairs, wanting to be clear on their path before they ventured into the chaos. Once they stepped into this world...there would be no going back. It was best that they remained on the same page from here on out if they wanted to stay alive.Quote: 11 Tokens

Sera Makushima  Sera almost crashed against Koichi when she opened the door. He had a serious look about him that sobered her up for an instant. Koichi was a gentle soul, easy to smile, easy to like...but he was still a Mori, and he had a strategic mind that surpassed anyone she had ever known. She reminded her of Koji back in the Resistance so long ago, but...at the same time so different. She knew that when he was this serious could only mean one thing...and it wasn't anything good. Still, seeing him in one piece, all well and good made her let out a sigh of relief despite herself and the situation. "Yes, let's go." she nodded at him, and felt the comfort of his hand in hers as they moved out of the room. The couple had literally just crossed the door when a demon blocked their way, making Sera to step back and ready for the attack. Still, Koichi had been faster, letting go of her hand to kick the demon away and finish it off with his own demon before taking her hand once more, pulling her along.
There was something about it...about the way he was so forward and focused that made the pinkette smile despite herself, holding his hand tighter. He explained his plan, and she couldn't help noticing how his speech changed when he was focused on something. "You know... seeing you getting all serious and talking like that is really sexy, Koichi." Sera couldn't help herself. Really...he just sounded and looked so hot right now. Besides, if she took everything as seriously as she should, she'd wrinkle way faster. Their world back in the Future was full of stress and full of serious moments...she had learned to look for the good side of things since an early age.
Still, his words finally sunk in, and the girl shook her head, as if trying to see if she had heard him correctly. "Wait. Your father? Are...you sure about this?" It was true that Motonari Mori would have some kind of answers...and while she only knew the Mori in the future -and she hadn't left a...nice impression back then- but she had heard stories of how Koichi's father had been like in the past. Stricter was a way of saying it, but...
"No, you are right. This is the best plan we have right now." She would follow him...she trusted him...and they would find the answers. They ran down the stairs, finding the lobby surrounded by demons of all kinds. A light groan escaped her... but again, she felt that unsettling feeling inside of her, just as a voice echoed in her head. "Again? Alright, human. Only because I like you." And all he could do in response was laugh hysterically. They thought that they could defeat him when all they had was numbers. But, in case that someone who might matter came along, he decided to just summon his new 'friend' to deal with them all. "What do you mean you don't see them? As he had stumbled upon what they called Akihabara, he was trusted into another mission, and almost immediately was possessed again. For a normal person, they would probably just be disgusted by the fact that they were so easily possessed, but for him, he was just annoyed. Once he finished the mission, only a little bit more difficult than the one before, he was free again, and once again he had to discipline a demon what happens when he is possessed.
