For now the challenge theme is: faeries. You don't have to stick to the challenge theme. It's just a prompt to help those who may not have any idea what to design.

Here you go! biggrin  I tried to crop it on my computer but, since it saved as a png it wouldn't let me. I cropped it on photobucket but, the background turned black neutral If you know what I can do to fix this let me know please. blaugh so if you want to see it with a white background here you go

I cropped it on photobucket but, the background turned black neutral If you know what I can do to fix this let me know please. If you are using MS Paint to crop images, don't automatically click 'Save'. Go to 'Save as' and it should give you the option to save images as a JPEG. Windows 7 and higher usually offers a side box with format options when you click 'Save As'. If you aren't using Windows programs, then I don't really know what to do. I don't use anything Apple based. PNGs can be problematic. JPEG is usually the best option for images.

Just got wrapped up in the tech issue. I'm like that, focusing on one thing and letting everything else get away from me. Sometimes Cel gets a case of butterfly-brains. sweatdrop But yeah, the avi is fine. Oddly, I like the all-black background for that particular avatar. It sorta goes with the dark faerie theme. The Dark Fairy Lumi is one of my newer items that I haven't used much yet, so that was a good use for the wings.

That's really that best way to go about designing a new outfit. Work around a selected item. I find I have better luck that way than trying to work on a specific color scheme.

Hot Caffeinated Cree I tried :3 Edit: I played with Cae's look too. Really great faerie, Cree. That's a god look for Cae. I haven't put him in much green, but that works. I have one outfit saved for him with green, and I think you used two of the same items I have in that saved outfit. We must think alike. xd (I'm partial to the black windswept hair on Cae with the pale marionette bangs for a daring, warrior-type look.)

Thank you, Cel! haha, wow. Really? xD I was thinking he looked like he came straight out of an RPG. Cae would make a great warrior. 3nodding I was debating if I wanted to make a green. I honestly don't have much green in my invo, but I love those darker greens, and even some melon/tea. The faerie was fun to make too. I used the bangs as the base of the whole outfit.

I don't use the bangs on the firefly items much, but that was a really good use of that item. I think aqua blue and cream together are a nice color scheme. I keep hoping they'll do a recolor collection of just the wings from Fairy Lumi or Sprightly Tree Fae. Yeah, Cae looks good in dark green. It brings out his hazel/golden eyes. He is very much the warrior type. I should use his true form avi more, but in some ways I'd like to save it for when we get further in the RP and he transforms for a big battle (assuming we ever get that far, gonk ) I'll use tea/melon green for Cel when I can find items I like. I feel like I've gotten so many items at this point that I need to sort through and get rid of stuff I haven't used in over a year. But inevitably there will come that one instance when I can use the item and I'll wish I had kept it.

Just wanted to quickly post for those of you who do frequently use avibuilder. I am on a semi-hiatus and trying to clear unused items out of my inventory at the same time. I apologize if I sell something you gave me, but I can't keep track of everything I've ever been given. I'll do another post once I'm back to full active status on Gaia and my inventory sale is over. Not quitting, just need some time from online in general so I can get some things done in real life, plus past few weeks have been stressful with family drama and work combined. I plan to be back in time for RO.
