"No, you'll shatter it if your grip is too tight." He whispered, he didn't need to be loud or even use a room level voice. They were too close for that. "You'll get used to it easy enough." Another time or two and the other would know how to grip one without cracking or shattering it - it was easy enough.
"Yes, that's it." He said while curling the others fingers, and his own, around the delicate object within the mans chest. The lieutenant he was working with, one of his own, didn't seem hesitant at all. He didn't have fear or show any signs of anything which would hinder him from taking another life - this seemed easy for the other. it had been difficult for him the first time but to see it so easy for the other, he was sure he would do it if he had to in a battle. He could do it and killing wouldn't haunt him - good.
"Now, we just remove our hand with it in your hold. It's simple to remove it. Just be gentle. Think of them as breakable - like glass. once it's shattered they can't be put back together either." He added after a moment. "If we break it inside of the person...you get a youma. if you do it outside of the person...they aren't reborn and the starseed is useless then." As it would then be dust and dust would blow off, scatter, and do nothing in the end.
"Come on now." He said smiling at the other, proud of him so far, as he slowly retracted their conjoined hands.

Gently. He told himself as he held onto it, feeling the help from the General with his fingers around his. His words echoed in his head and he nodded. "Youma?" The word caught his attention and he blinked. It didn't sound good, whatever it was.
The next part slightly excited him... when it came to senshi anyways. The bitterness inside of him welled up at it, remembering how he had been thwarted by a wall of all things. Hatred, pure and simple. He felt his hand slightly twitch and he had to stop himself from squeezing. They needed this one, and he was going to get it. Perhaps it would begin the process to make up for his absence...
Altaite felt his hand retract with the pull of Benitoite and slowly he managed to get the star seed out with his help, his eyes staring at the twinkling prize in his hand. It was, as it had been described, much like glass. It felt delicate. Eyes were transfixed on it so much he had not noticed the man they pulled it from going limp, cold, and still.
Coughing once he looked back to the General. "I have it here. I really, have it." He stared again, smirking at it. The fledgling Negaverse agent was satisfied now, a new door open in his repertoire of skills. He'd have to hone in, certainly, but it was a satisfying feeling at the least.

"Yes, youma. I will show you what they are soon. You will need to watch yourself. While they take orders from us...they do so easier as we gain in rank. Some will never take orders - are dangerous to anyone. Some are simply too powerful and only chaos itself can control them." It was best to get the warnings about youma out of the way now rather than have something happen, he didn't want to risk the Lieutenant going down to the rift, or negsaspace, and having a bad encounter with a youma that could have been prevented.
"Yes, you have it." Slate eyes fixed on the starseed in their joined hands. Slowly he let the others hand go - let him hold the starseed on his own. "That is filled with energy. If you need energy in a battle, if you are injured, eating one can help. They are addictive though and too many can turn you into a youma - a monster that is no longer human. You do not want to fall down that path. Mind yourself if you consume any, there may come a time when you will need to though." But the warning was there - don't let them hook you. Do not become addicted. He had eaten his fair share in the past but it was spread out, it was due to need. He didn't do it for the sake of it.
He would keep his officers safe, keep them from walking a dangerous path as best he could. "Come, we should leave this spot...we don't want to linger too long." Standing slowly, offering a hand out to the other.
"We will gather more energy in this area tonight."

"Damn." It was his first response to hearing about the youma. To Altaite, it seemed like they were more trouble than they were worth and he looked down at the starseed in his hands. A smirk moved over his face as he started at it, looking at the shimmer that appeared off of it before glancing back to the General. "You can... eat these?" He glanced back, listening to his explanation and warning about eating them. Altaite grimaced, not even sure if he'd do it if needed. It didn't exactly look edible to his eyes, but he shook his head and nodded back at him.
"Yeah, let's get moving." He agreed, staring at the hand and he took hold of it, staring at the starseed in his other again. "Where do I put it to store it?" Was there a bag he could put it in? He wasn't sure how he could carry it and looked back to Benitoite for guidance. "Is there something special we do for it?" If it broke, he'd be pissed. Slowly he moved though, lest someone come out and see them over the men in the alley, moving down to a dark area on the street.

Never Crazy Sorry for taking so long, this heat is killing me and my ability to focus. All I wanna do is lay down by an open window. @.@ We should plot for more rp's between the two and him meeting other members that are under Beni's wing.

Altaite stared at the starseed again, imagining trying to eat it. It was a strange thing to imagine but he left it at that, glancing at him, slipping the starseed away inside his long coat, smirking back at him. "Sounds like the best plan!" Altaite felt ecstatic now, looking back to his General with admiration, walking with him down the street, hands shoved into his pockets and he glanced back.
"So, how about we just do this tonight and I explain what happened later..." Not that it'd be a fun story at all, but it felt good being back out in the field. His element. He felt a hum on the edge of his lips but kept himself quiet for the time being, looking back again. "...I appreciate this, by the way." It was probably one of the few times he'd said something like that. "I ain't had much luck on my own so... yeah." The lieutenant shrugged, continuing to walk with him. So far it had been an amazing night and he felt lighter than he had in a long time.
Happy, even. And that was better than it had been in a good long while for him. Sleet Tempest Snape Hey, no worries! I have summer school so I've been pretty busy. Anyways, I think it's good for this one for an end so we can do more with other people or just them powered down. C:
