Backplot, RP, or Doppelbreeding? Backplot, Hal would come to Cuauhcoatl to be a surrogate. About the Pair/Group: Kai and Hal (and their un-finished male friend) are a poly group that stemmed from a miss-communication. They grew up together as close friends, almost siblings, and were inseparable. Malis impressed upon Kai, the future leader of the WillowGen Herd, that she should find a suitable mate to carry on the line as it looked like Immi and Day were not about to have any more kids themselves. Kai believed that Saffron (the male) and Halcyon loved each other and so tried to look outside her little friend group for a suitable mate. After not having any luck, and being spurned a few times, she confided in Hal that she may never find someone to be by her side forever. Hal was hurt and distressed by this and took it the wrong way thinking that Kai didn't want her around anymore. She went to Saffron and blurted out her feelings for Kai about the same time Saffron tried to blurt out his feelings for her. It took a bit of working out and Kai barging in mid-way through the conversation before everything settled to the ground. Kai admitted she loved Hal, but she thought Hal liked Saffron. Saffron definitely liked Hal but didn't want to get in the way of Kai if that is what she wanted. Halcyon put her hoof down and exclaimed that there was no way she was going to chose between them and she was happy to stay with them both. Thus, while Halcyon and Kai'kaede are the main pair in the relationship, Saffron always can be found close by and dotes on the both of them.

Personality: Soothing and mild, Hal is a mediator. She is the Yin to Kai's Yang and is always very sure of herself. Hal is rather inquisitive but can be rather distracted, thus when the trio had to take Leadership Studies, it was often Hal's disruptions that broke up the class than anything else. Still, her heart is in the right place, and her stalwart loyalty has never been put into question.
Plot ideas: I can see Halcyon hear about Cuauh's herd and be interested in how they were running the place. She did not expect to be co-leader and thus is a little behind in those kinds of studies. While she does care for Saffron, she is not quite ready to mate with him (at this point) and he isn't quite ready to mate with Kai instead of her, but there has been wistful talks of having children together. If Cuauh offered, Hal would believe this would be a perfect opportunity to bring a foal home to her small family while giving everyone time to adjust to being a poly group instead of just a group of friends. She knows the foal will be well taken care of because the whole WillowGlen herd is usually involved in raising a child which is something she would mention to Cuauhcoatl. (Of course the other one or two baskets would stay with Cuauh, unless both Kai and Saffron joined her for a while in a journey of learning until Immi and Day stepped down from Herd leadership.)

Personality: Morrigan was raised by her brother and he wasn't the best of role-models when it came to relationships. With that being said she tends to love a little freely. She is a extremely friendly and very naive when it comes to basically everything and tends to get into interesting situations. She's curious about everything and wishes to know more about the lands around herself and her family.
Backplot, RP, or Doppelbreeding?: Whichever you would rather do. smile I personally LOVE Rping but I can do some AIM plotting or pm plotting or what not. What are doppelbreedings? Are they similar to mock breedings?
Plot ideas: Well, she's set up for a rather rough life before she finally meets her LifeMate Alesdair who saves her from some rather nasty males (Plot is still potential). I would like for her to run into him while out exploring perhaps and learn about him and his mate and offer to surrogate for them freely as she's not going to want to be a mother right now. She'd be fine with coming to visit them if they didn't mind. It would be her good deed before being sucked into a world of turmoil. XD Anything else I should know about the offer?: Ummmm. Not that I can think of at the moment? I may consider Astraea as a surrogate? Lemme know if you'd be interested in that and I'll post her info.

Personality: In general Ko'ikku is a rather lightly boned mare, unexpectedly sturdy and deceptively graceful. Her body type is similar to that of an Akhal-Teke. Though she has become somewhat withdrawn in this new land as she is surrounded by strangers, with the offer of friendship she blooms into a cheerful, loving personality. She is always happy to be the shoulder to cry on or the sympathetic ear, and offers words of comfort as well as a flower or two.
Somewhat lean-bodied and what many consider tall, Ko'ikku Ahmshere is a bold berry-hued mare with a trailing mane like a cloud. A refugee newly arrived to the land, she is an upbeat spirit with a courteous nature. It is one of her chiefest desires to help those around her and to make them smile. As such, like in her old homeland, she has become a gardener and something of a florist upon settling in.
Frequently decorated in roses -usually at least two varieties- the Pterosaur mare relies on her wings to bear her aloft as well as to help tend her garden. With untold amounts of practice she has learned to braid the stems of her beloved flowers into leis, garlands and crowns, and delighs in creating wearable bouquets to present to those around her. When not trading, selling or donating the fruits of her efforts, she is back in the garden attempting to create new varieties. It is due to this hobby (unexpectedly shared) that she came to encounter the young mare Sonata Notturno. A native, the kalona-cross mare grows and experiments with her own roses, and as such the two have begun to exchange clippings and bulk up each other's gardens.
A relatively new arrival, Ko'ikku has not made much headway in the department of friends. There are a few native mares she is working on it with, and one or two other travelers from her old herd or a similar location. Beyond that, she is hoping to experience new things, and learn all she can about her new home. As she has no interest in finding her own partner, she is likely to be content in offering herself as a surrogate for some time to come. Anyone she might choose to settle down with would also need to understand this is her preference, and abide by it. That is to say, even after finding someone she loves, she might continue to be a surrogate for select parties she had previously known and built a relationship with.

Personality: An composed and regal mare who left her homelands fleeing from Gotterdammerung (a doomsday causer, who caused the death of all in her herd but her and her sister Angelique Lenore). Her herd had a strict structure of how families and matings were done. Having the freedom to choose who she had a child with and who she loved would be a great gift to her. (I'm currently unsure of her preferences, though I'm thinking she may be bisexual.)
Backplot, RP, or Doppelbreeding?: Preferred is RP, but I can do backplot as long as we get it all hammered out.
Plot ideas:
Honestly, she's lost and alone in a new world. Her sister is out there somewhere and she has no place that she belongs.She has long wanted a child but has not found someone she's loved romantically to provide her with one. Life is short, and if she can help them, and get an open, kind family for her children...well, it's kind of the dream. She'd like to be a part of the children's lives, but may have to disappear from time to time to look for her sister.
Anything else I should know about the offer?: The soquili Gotterdammerung that has caused the death of her herd is looking for her. So far he will not go out of his way to kill her, but that may change as he's a fanatic of a doomsday religion.

Washing up on the shoreline with only vague feelings and brief bits of her foal hood memories still intact she struggled for a while, trying to force the return of her memories, to find out who she was and where she came from. the memories never returned and Calfuray eventually accepted that who she once was had been forever lost and life on the beach wasn't so very bad.
A chance encounter with an old herd member led Calfuray to finding her way back to her home and her history. While Calfuray was glad to be back home the mare has found herself less swayed the herds ideals then she once was, she is softer..kinder..more compassionate and although she still holds the role of a warrior she found herself longing for other things in life. Finding Kaikea was like finding herself again, that fierce loyalty once reserved for her herd is now given the Kaikea and their small family of miracle children.
Plot ideas: Calfuray spent a great deal of time recovering out in the world before returning home to her herd - it's possible that somewhere along that healing she might have met Cuauhcoatl - perhaps to find answers about her memories? She would have recalled him and his family and now that she seeks to have one of her own perhaps she journeys forth to find him for help once again. Kaikea would likely come with her so he would be able to meet both of them.
Anything else I should know about the offer?: Calfuray and Kaikea belong to the amazon herd who are kind of like the flock in herd ideals (females over males) as such Cuauhcoatl would likely be given the choice to keep male children with him - Calfuray follows her herds rules but no longer believes in them the way she used to and as such she would want her male children to be raised with the opportunity to be equals although they would be loved and well taken care of in either herd should he decline.
Using the excuse of Kaikea's wandering spirit it would be possible for the family's to meet now and then as a reunion of sorts so that any foals produced by the agreement could get to know the rest of the family.

With Cuauhcoatl a Teacher and Co-leader of a herd, Ikinya being a charismatic individual with a large heart and a good way with words, and the herd itself having a large teaching/learning area as well as shelters enough for guests and a co-habitation of a large variety of breeds and species, Yectenehua is a good place for individuals to go to who want to learn some tips, tricks, and even technologies that they can take back home and adapt to their own locations, Which makes it canonly a good chance for The Triad to get to know members of the herd, especially Cuauhcoatl, and while they COULD easily get kids without ever getting a donor from outside the circle since one of their mates is biologically a stallion, a mutually beneficial and Alliance based siring between a herd leader and a future one to create a bond between herds beyond makes sense!

They actually have a similar arrangement with a mare of another Amazonian Herd (the Phoenix maidens) where the mare keeps the girls and they get any boys. So it could be a viable reoccurring thing, and the occasional reunion or joint training (Like sending the girls to get an education or taught a trade in a setting where Learning happens more intensely with customized classes) And with the mothers being devoted to one another and understanding how it can be difficult at times to find a stallion willing to donate some genetic material without expecting anything out of them beyond that

Going to chat with Tirokio about these options so we know whats going on since these are babies being had since she cannot carry and I just wanna make sure she's cool with these (I'm sure she will be but better safe than sorry.
@Astoria: Your question about doppelbreedings made me thing a bit and I've added a FAQ to the front page!
Personality: Rualie was the first child of Temperance and Laermeluion. She's now the only girl of 6 kids (1 full sized mare, 1 full sized stallion, 4 mini stallions...). Rua is a gentle soul and primarily stays with her parents and helps with the younger siblings. She doesn't normally get angry and/or upset, but accepts others' ideas, 'each to their own' basically. She has a desire to help, and since Cuauhcoatl and Ikinya are in the same situation as her parents, Rua would love to help and her parents would be supportive too <3;

Plot ideas: Rua some how finds out about Cuauhcoatl and Ikinya, learning they're in the same situation as Temperance and Laer. I think you can still make an offer, but direct them at Tirokio with the quotes so she knows that they're being offered!
Personality: Emiko is above all a skilled professional. Most of her free time is spent in practice, especially so now that she's away from her homeland. She refuses to let herself forget what she has learned, as she has no more teachers to instruct her should she forget. She hides her seriousness beneath well-practiced charm and friendliness. She is not deceptive, just wants to present her best face to the world and represent her culture well. Still, she loves meeting new people and getting to learn more about the arts in her adopted homeland!

Plot ideas: Geisha inheritance is very matrilineal. Women are in charge, marriage (lifemating) is optional, and being a single mom isn't looked down upon. Females are often raised up inside the Okiya to be geisha themselves. Emiko really wants a daughter that she can teach the craft to and who can take charge of her budding Kawani Okiya when Emiko retires.
I could see Emiko seeking out Cuauhcoatl initially because of his status as angeni of learning. She's very isolated from the bulk of her culture in the Kawani lands and suddenly finds herself as the only local repository of knowledge that previously was held by an entire society. There are things that she never needed to or was able to learn back in her homelands, like how to make certain traditional cakes or the chords to unpracticed songs. She'd go to Cuahcoatl to see if he could help her remember or discover these fragments of learning.
She could go to him for that first, but maybe he's interested in her atypical feet or her foreign lifestyle and they become actual friends. Eventually, she would grow to respect him enough to ask him to father a daughter for her. She'd be willing to let 2/3 of the baskets stay permanently with him so long as she had a single daughter she could teach up on her own. And of course, she wouldn't mind him playing an active role in the daughter's life! Anything else I should know about the offer?: Not off the top of my head!
