Remarque just so happened to be a fairly talented actor, but even he couldn’t hide the little spark of excitement that flickered across his face with the proposal. "I would like that, very much."
He wasn't going to sugar coat it; it was all he could really ask for. Every world he learned about, or every world he visited, at least made him feel closer to having an answer—even if there wasn't anything he could do with the information.
At the very least, he got to see the stars again.

The man seemed sincere. Perhaps he was silly to be so cautious before. He wondered about the Dark Mirror Court and what he didn't know. Remarque wanted to know more about the stars. Erytheia needed to know about what was happening here on Earth. Remarque's first question to him came to his mind again and the page felt as if he could now ask a question of the man. "Do you like the Dark Mirror Court?"✪

Remarque nodded easily. “Very much so, I should say. There’s not really an obligation, not like I see in some of the other groups. We had a woman, once, who proclaimed herself Queen. But she was an absent leader--if you could call her that, even. More like, she showed up, strutted around, and left us on our own. But,” he shrugged. “We don’t need her. I don’t want her back. She was all air and ego. Too good for the Court, herself. We’ve been doing better without her. See, she wanted to create a world like the one she lost--a Parallel Senshi. Not that there’s much information about them.”
He didn’t seem like he had any remorse for the missing Senshi. “Her goals wouldn’t have made sense for the rest of us. She wanted her kingdom but none of us ever had any ties--and if she expected a troupe of obedient soldiers to follow her on a cause none of us cared for,” he shrugged again. “All the better that she left. It gave us the freedom to do what we need to do. See...the Dark Mirror Court is too small to stack up against Knights, Senshi, the Negaverse. But I’ve got a plan B. Just in case things hit the plan and the world winds up SOA. That just,” he paused and clucked his tongue. “Requires a little more research. Thankfully, the I’ve got the resources I need in Mirrorspace.”
It was a bit of a fib, but Remarque was an exceptional liar and pulled it off well enough. He still needed to know more about Mirrorspace--and Space, in general.

It was a lot of information to take in. Erytheia knew nothing about the Dark Mirror Court. After all, the page had no reason to think Remarque was anything but truthful. "You said your queen left. But who rules the Court now?"✪

Remarque raised his hands to give air quotes and repeated the word, “Rules?”
He lowered his hands to his hips and shrugged. “Technically, we have no ‘ruler’. We rule ourselves. There are, however, two Royals among our ranks. Though, I haven’t seen one of them for a while,” he mused, reaching up to rub at his chin thoughtfully.
Eventually, he shrugged, dismissing the thought of Leto and her well-being. She was probably fine. “But, I like to think we all have some say in the direction of the Court.”

Erytheia thought for a moment as he watched the senshi's hands motion as if encasing the word 'ruler'. "Well, knights of Cosmos have Sailor Cosmos. But I guess we don't really have a ruler either, per say. At least, I have never met her."He didn't really know much as was evident in his words. ✪

Remarque nodded. “I’ve heard rumors of Sailor Cosmos, but she’s not yet crossed my path. So far a I know, Knights have no ruler. Even if you wear her markings, I didn’t think Knights were subservient.”
At least, no Knight he’d ever met had sworn allegiance to a Senshi; their allegiance was to their Wonder.
“Do you feel like you need to meet her?”

"I would like to meet her someday."He knew that sounded positively old-fashioned, like some knight in a fairy-tale longing to meet this princess. He was a bit embarrassed. Remarque seemed to be quite uninterested in such naive things. "I suppose there are a lot of things I haven't done yet." Erytheia seemed to have a newfound resolve since talking to the senshi of the Dark Mirror Court. "I should probably get started on these things instead of just talking about them." He smiled and his face was a bit relieved. "I worry a lot, I guess."Erytheia grabbed his weapon again as he had let it rest beside him during their talk and stood upright. "I would love to tell you about my wonder once I go there." He held out a hand to the eternal senshi. "You really have been of help to me tonight. Deal?"✪

Though Remarque was a bit disinterested, he didn’t seem particularly condescending. He felt the need to prove himself when faced with someone ‘special’. He didn’t like to be outmatched.
But she might have had information that he didn’t have, so there was that to consider.
But he suspected Erytheia wasn’t thinking about meeting her from a logical point; he wanted to know who she was. Who he was supposed to be working with, and what they were to each other, and all that sentimental stuff, probably.
“There’s still time to do them,” Remarque assured, and smiled. “Once you start doing them, you’ll worry less. I look forward to hearing about your wonder.” He took Erytheia hand and gave it a firm shake. “You take care of yourself.”
