Fast and light footed, America made her way past the conference rooms, keeping an eye out for...well, anything really. But Chel wasn't exactly a hard to spot girl and was pleasantly easy to recognize. Coming up behind the girl, America started to quietly ask, "Hey what happened..." It was then she noticed the other girl, and couldn't help a confused squint. "You one of those..." she searched her memory and ventured, "...fluffies?" Second floor, top of right stairs.

"You can try to stop him, Kuroda, but I'd advise against it." Jeremiah turns to Chris and gives him a nod. Algie is already with him and he knows they can handle themselves. "Stay behind us, Chris. You know I'll know." ... if something was going to be coming at them. He'd be able to tell. So far it was alright. No goosebumps, no pit in his stomach beyond his own unease and ire. "Fact of the matter is that we're low on officers, they're clearly cordoning us off," his head tilts towards the voice they heard over a loudspeaker, "and behind us they can carry down injured that we find while we clear the floor because in that we need the help. We cannot be going after a target and dealing with injured at the same time." With that, his own gun his removed from his shoulder holster, kept low but at the ready, and headed towards the stairs to go up finally. first floor orange zone > left staircase jeremiah mercer // HP: 20

Well. Glad to see priorities were in order. Lily shrugged when she finished her sprint up the stairs, adrenaline in her veins. It would take too long to explain to Chel or the other red-head, and frankly, she wasn't sure if she would believe the story if she told it herself. "You got it," she responded dryly, "I'm a big freaking furry, yiff yiff, everything is fake and I just gotta--" Something clattered in the chaos, and her ears twitched in a way that definitely didn't look fake. She wanted to dig her claws into a bookcase, to climb, but she remembered the stag's admonition and stayed on the ground with her eyes forward, scanning for signs of the other were. Both boys were taken care of, at least kind of. Rabbit was all right and Huxley seemed to be doing better. As loathe as she was to leave the duo, it was becoming obvious that the killer had gone up. Rosie nodded to herself and patted both men on the arms. "I'm heading up. Rabbit, if we make it out of this, you better come to my bakery so I can make up for wrangling you into my makeshift nurse. There's that table cloth and food at my booth. Use it how you see fit, okay?" Rosies stern stare left no quarter for arguments. She then turned it on Hux. It was, imaginably, much less successful on someone so much taller than herself, "Hux? Get your head looked at. Dont stray too far and stay safe. God only knows how many more whatevers lurk down here." She turned on heel and followed the path of destruction to the stairs. Fairly winded (look, you just didn't run a lot in a bakery setting, okay?), she veered to the side with the very noticeably female party. Immediately she regretted it. W-wasn't that one if thos--- ay! Rosie shook her head and approached slowly, despite everything in her saying to run. This one wasn't attacking straight off and while her heart pounded furiously, she clutched at her ideals viciously. Dont judge a book by its cover. On closer inwoection, the woman had a fluffy tail and claws. She was reminded of one of Louisa's many phases. Mythical creatures. This was... a werewolf? Hardly seemed like something a person would normally wear to a party like this. It was impossible to tell if she were friend or foe, so Rosie decided to employ some diplomacy. "Lobo chica, you're not gonna turn on us, right?" Rosie cocked an eyebrow, lips pursing as she looked over the (rather pretty) were. Diplomacy.... right. orange first level > right stair case HP: 20 Quote: I'm writing this on my tablet so it might be riddled with horrible typos... sorry x ux;;; xxAMItotic *triumphant music* new nickname unlocked - lobo chica Smerdle not your route, but letting you know Rosie didn't ditch you.

"Wait for me!" Falco figured it couldn't hurt to stick with someone and America seemed like as good a person as any to catch up with. The thudding was echoed by the banging of his own heartbeat, remembering Zac's vague commentary about having seen terrible things... Well great because now terrible things were here and they'd been banging around trying to get in and ripping the s**t out of railings. RAILINGS.. And Lupin said there was blood. This was some horror movie s**t right here and he still didn't know anything about his partner. OK fluffy, I hope you're staying out of the way, because if I get to look through your eyes I don't really want it to be the last thing one of us does.. He thought. lizbot Wait up Sherlock, Watson wants to come. shibrogane Falco is attempting to catch up with America. He's seen how this s**t goes down in horror movies.

Autumn knew the necessity of working with the team, and yet. When she laid eyes upon Lily, her voice caught in her throat. She quickly and quietly moved past the others, still on the right stair case, and laid a hand on Lily's shoulder. Her expression was that of concern as she looked the girl over. "You- you're one of them," she said quietly, still aware that she did not need to make a scene over this s**t just yet. "And. And Lucas. Where is he? Is he okay? Did you see him? Is he coming here?!" There were so many questions, but hey. She was concerned. And the whatever the ******** tail the girl had, as well as her claws, kind of lumped her in to the were territory. "What about my mom? Is she okay too?! Did- is anyone looking after her?" THE GROUP I'm just assuming we're on the right side staircase? Since we all have to stick together and can't move away from the group without deciding as a team??? Lemme know if that's in fact where we are

When the world began to shift around, Jamie had it in his head that he was done for. Thoughts continued to race around the how of their situation. Lily, Eve, Lucas... whether they wanted this or not, their new bodies looked strong. Jamie remembered what he'd become and feared his life would end as prey.
Things didn't quite happen the way he expected, though. It was almost as disorientating as becoming a rabbit had been. The only saving grace was the familiarity of his adaptive form, but the discomfort was still very real as his limbs stretched and most of his fur molted and the world spun around him.
He'd squeezed his eyes shut to no one's surprise, but when he opened them there was no more rain, and there were way too many people, and he could see a flash of fur as Lily darted away.
"L-Lily!" he called, a sudden pang of worry gripping his heart. Jamie didn't want to be alone. "Lily, wait!"
Jamie tried to take a step, but it didn't quite work. Instead he went tumbling, tripping over his own two feet, feet that happened to be quite different than the ones he remembered having before this whole awful adventure began. He had rabbit feet.
That's when everything else hit him, too, like a train with broken breaks. The chaos, the smell. It was sharp to his newly reformed nose, tangy like blood and far worse than anything he'd ever smelled in his life. Jamie was undeniably afraid.
"D-Don't leave me!" he said, voice torn with anxiety. Struggling back to his feet, he awkwardly slogged after his kin, new feet ever holding him back, all while trying to pretend like no one else was around to inevitably mock or fear what he'd become. He'd keep trying to pretend, even as other people he didn't recognize began to gather around Lily.-- First Floor Orange Zone --> Right StaircaseJamie DelacroixHP: 20/20 AMItotic bombards you with more things hello anyone else who wants to make Jamie feel awkward

Screams from outside the room could have been any number of things and Lina, with her ears full of laughter, didn't recognize anything to be wary of until something slammed against the door. A yelp slipped from between her lips before a hand clapped itself over her mouth, fingers all but stuffed against her teeth to smother the panicked sound she was making. Nerves were, indeed, fried to a crisp. Was it cowardly to put everyone else in the room between herself and the door? Yes. Did she care? No. Not right now. Later that could be a source of self-disgust and self-loathing but right now animal instinct for preservation was too strong to struggle through. When America moved with decisiveness out of the room the brunette hissed under her breath, trying to stay quiet. "What are you doing?! Go away from danger, not toward it!" Falco didn't seem to have enough common sense to stay put and stay safe, either, because he followed right behind without hesitation. Horror movie logic said that staying together was better than being isolated. But her own form of logic said that hiding under the conference table was the best idea in the world. Breath hitched as she tried not to cry, overwhelmed and terrified. "D-Don't leave!" Melina is clinging to the door frame of the East Conference Room, pathetic and sniffling.

left staircase At that, Shun just let out a sigh. He had a point. There were only two of them, with who knows how many more wounded up these steps. Looking to the other side, he noticed a small group gathering at the other set of stairs. He couldn't see them all too clearly from here, but it definitely seemed like they were ready to head on up. "...That is if they remain behind us in the first place," he muttered, motioning over to the other side. Shun Kuroda: 20

The gut said follow the police who are probably still armed and sort of know what they're doing, but the intrepid part of Jack's brain said go a different route to scout and take photos. Future collaboration and maybe pulling a pincer maneuver on the creature and s**t. And it was probably going to get him killed, especially since he was following after Chel of all people.
Straight into another group from upstairs. One of which was sporting a tail and ears. Furry or furry? He raised his camera to take a photo of the group at large regardless, one never really knew.
Snap. At least he had the decency to avoid flash.
It was then that he noticed one of them had rabbit feet. Alright, couldn't be just a regular furry. Nobody had that sort of dedication.
"You all saw that were-creature, right?" he asked the group. "Any know where it headed?" He paused, eyes narrowing, gesturing at the animalistic appendages. "You happen to be its friends?"

Orange Zone -> Left StaircaseAlgie picked up the rear, glancing back down at the first floor as he followed them all up. There was a flash of something quick on the second floor, something that made him grip the railing harder, but Alg was more concerned that guns were appearing. "Please be careful with the guns..." Alg's eyes darted to Jeremiah a moment, "We wouldn't want to hit... any friendlies." And they both knew some furries were actually friendlies. LEFT STAIRCASE GROUP Jeremiah, Algie, Chris, Shun

"C'mon there's like... five of us! We can't freaking stay in that room, what it if comes back?" Falco called over his shoulder to Melina. "Besides! I wanna try and find Zac! He might have some idea what the ******** is going on!" Zac was the one who implied this s**t happened in some -other- Ashdown. This was not, that he was aware, an 'other' place. There were voices from the stairway, and he headed that direction, glancing back and forth, listening for any sign of life in the doors around them. "Shouldn't we check the other conference rooms? Was there anyone else up here today?" The Doc had said there was blood. Blood was not a good sign, if they left someone up here hurt... But then blood could also just mean 'someone got their nose busted. He really kind of wanted to pretend it was that option. With the noise and screaming... it was very, very hard to pretend it was that option, but he was trying, because it kept his legs from trying to freeze in place. It let him try and pretend to be braver, more badass, when his bravado felt like it was bleeding out of him. "C'mon gimme a hand or something, you can stay behind me." Checking the first conference room after the room the wargs were in like an idiot boss HP" 20/20
