"You did really well for your first time," Chrysocolla was quick to reassure, barely visibly any more exhausted than she had been before the energy drain. "I couldn't even get the orb at all the first few times. I can teleport, so how about you try a few more times, okay? I can get you home without any trouble, and I can just take the bus, it's fine." She smiled sincerely, head tilted slightly back to look up at Sarabauite's face. "...I'm always really tired anyways, so I don't really notice a huge difference if people drain me. We also take starseeds if we have to, but --"

There was a pause. A wince.

"You're...not like me. And I don't want you to practice on me in the chance something goes wrong. You wouldn't know what to do." She said all of it so gently, so slowly, it barely even sounded like an insult if it had been one in the first place. "I can show you a starseed, if you'd like, though?"

"Oh, um, for the teleporting, before I start - just so you know - you'll get it when you become a Captain," Chrysocolla hastened to say, her own hand hovering somewhere around her clavicle. "There's...two different kinds of ranks, basically? Officers like you, you start as Lieutenants and then become Captains and Generals...and you'll be able to teleport as a Captain, but -- it's really tiring." She took a deep breath and placed her hand inside her own chest, carefully pulling out her own starseed, one hand against the wall for balance.

"...this is my starseed. Normal people can't survive when theirs are out of their body, but...anyone like me, with the cracks -" an absentminded gesture - "we can do it for a little bit, if we take ours out. You can look a little closer." She stumbled, a little dizzy, but held the starseed up for viewing. "It's...basically a soul, I guess? Everything that makes you, 'you', is held in yours. If you take someone's starseed, their body will pretty much just shut down, and they'll die."

"It's okay, it's okay! Senshi like me, we can do it for a little bit, it's just -" Chrysocolla placed it back into her chest, letting it hover to equilibrium within her almost-insides. "You're not really supposed to have it out for long periods of time, so...I can do it for probably a minute before it starts really affecting me." She shrugged. "I haven't checked. I don't really want to, honestly, it seems unsafe. What if I dropped it? That'd be the most embarrassing way to die...!"

Her cheeks flushed bright pink, then. "Sorry, sorry -- I'm rambling -- I do that, sorry! It's a really bad habit. What direction do you live in? I can teleport you most of the way, if you'd like, if it's not rude...!"

"I'll sleep it off, don't worry." Chrysocolla's small smile was genuine, but there was the tiniest undercurrent of steel within her voice, saying stop asking me about this, I'm stronger than you, I know what I'm doing. She grabbed the lieutenant's hand, firmly, and concentrated and --

There they were, a decent distance away in the direction Sarabauite had pointed. "Do you need me to go further...?" She yawned, not quite pulling one hand up to cover it in time.

"I'll keep it in mind," Chrysocolla said lightly, the realization that this was something halfway to a date (but not really) unwantedly settling in her mind and refusing to leave. "Oh, um -- since I know what you look like powered down, I guess I can show you me too!" Her henshin dropped in glitter and glow, clothing peeling away to leave normal daywear. "My name's Poppy. I mean. If we can do names."

Her hands fumbled for her pockets, closing tightly on her henshin pen. "Have a good night, okay?" The absolute irony of her chaperoning a girl who was definitely years older than her didn't go unnoticed, but -- well. Poppy'd think about that later.
