"Mara would disagree" She responded, smiling at the reaction she was getting out of him. Oh this was too easy, to easy! The door was forced shut, she was alone with a frail and scared human.

"None of your armored units are here to help. The door won't be opening anytime soon," She reaffirmed the situation he was in, moving closer to him and grabbing his hands, fearing he would have something ready to call for help.

"Let me work for you. Uninhibited and without your damned training and we'll both survive this room,"

Asriel grabbed hold of the walkie talkie as he backed up toward the door, distracted for a moment as he tried to pull of the button that held it in place. His hands were already shaking before she grabbed him, as mental pictures of the massacre left in parley's wake flashed through his mind. Bitten arms, ripped off skins, electrical burns . "No!! ....damn it LET GO!" he leaned forward and tried to smash his forehead into her nose then follow it up with a kick.

Syth flinched at the headbutt into her nose. Pain flaring as she instantly reacted by shoving Asriel against the wall telepathically. It wouldn't hurt him too much, if anything it'd give him one hell of a jolt.

He was recalling Parley and the horrible fate some people had. His mind was made up about Metas.

She could only mentally sigh as she moved closer towards him once again, taking the time to use her telekenesis to crush the walkie talkie. At the very least, it'd give her time to run.

"Are you going to keep on fighting me?" She asked, holding out the olive branch one last time.

Asriel hit the wall with an oof, landing in his feet he stumble forward a bit but his mind was already washed with fear. Maybe some months ago he might not have been this badly freaked out but there was then and long before everything Mara brought upon them. Nope, not he was trying to figure out how to gets out, the window? Two stories high ....still a possibility of living right?

Staring at Sona he rushed toward the window, feeling something push against his side followed by the cracking of the walkie talkie case. "S-stop there. Sh...it. HELP!!!!! HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPP" he called. ""METTTTAAAA!!" trying to move back toward the window to get the attention of people outside. There was no way he could defend against THAT.

A shadow pooled up from the ground in front of Syth as a younf raspberry-colored girl rose from it, facing Asriel. She saw his panic and turned to look at Syth. "You're scaring him..." she stated blunted and took a step towards her. "Who are you... and why can't I read your mind..." she narrowed her eyes at Syth, but mostly out of curiosity. She then glanced to Asriel "Luietenant Colonel, you must calm down. You are safe. You are in control. No need to get worked up over things you seem to be imagining..." she tried to damage control. For the first time, having no idea what was going on.

"You can't defend against me," She replied as she stopped where she was, watching him contemplate jumping off window two stories high, "You can jump, but unless there's sufficient padding I doubt someone would find you. Not to mention you're attempting to do so with a telepathic Meta. What if I were to, say, push you so you fell right on your neck,"

"But hey, you told me to stop here so here I am. As long as you're willing to work with me I'd be more than happy to work with you. Of course, feel free to jump. I promise I won't make it hurt anymore than it would,"

This was why he never wanted to work with metas, why he rather leave all of that up to Mara and just run the research part of the section. He didn't want to die..and this one was one of those old mafia people who sounded like they wanted to help while pointing a gun at you...or her mind. She was like Ree, only he was more careful and funny about it.

"Sh!!!!!!" He raised his hands as ANOTHER meta pulled out of the shadows. Tri...s**t Tri was here too?! No...female...Zira? She was still around. "Fine! Fine you can help!!! You can all help" not meaning it at all, not intending to keep it ..just not wanting to die.

She could only groan to herself at the sudden change in the field. Some... strange person appeared from the shadows. The first thought in her head being that this was some sort of granddaughter she hadn't heard about yet, on account of the sudden appearing from shadows ability that Yoko had also inherited.

Asriel was pulling off his usual lies. Stating they could all help, when he was just looking in his own self interests. A few years ago he'd just have his head twisted off and left for dead but after that event it was better she retain her humanity.

Yet, a name from his mind was curiously familiar. Zira... zira zira.

Wasn't that the name of Alice's pet? How curious. Either way, time to engage with everything else.

"I am a Meta. That is all you should know unless you tell me who you are first, Zira" She responded as she moving an arm up. Picking up Asriel by his leg, lifting him into the air and casually shaking every possession he had off of him. Welp, Kae was going to kill her anyway, might as well accomplish something.

"My existence is hard to explain. I am not a meta..." she stared at Syth blankly as though out of curiosity as she tried to place where she knew her from.

/...Syth?/ she asked telepathically to her.

"You should put him down before you make things worse than they already are. He's obviously surrendered our of fear, so what need do you have to continue pursuing this discord." he voice was calm and robotic as she spoke, keeping her eyes focused on Syth as she took a single step backwards toward Asriel.

Asriel just yelled, punching at her face with all his might before being lifted in the air by one foot. He was still yelling and screaming as he trying to kick at her hand, trying to make her let go. Gonnadiegonnadiegonnadie.

No weapons, no armor. Going to put on armor would take to much time. Sorry Tri, now to only hope she doesn't reveal herself to badly or die.

Summoning two guns, she focused on making them look as solid and real as she should while still keeping them a fairly automatic function deep in her mind.(Dancing Guns)

Turning the corner she stared at the doors wondering which one the yell for help came fro-....follow the screaming.

Pausing in front of the door she shifted on gun around to open it then grabbed it fully again before slamming the door open and stared at the scene. Noarmornoarmornoarmor stupid move. Oh good! There was Zira.

"Yea he's obviously scared sweet checks if the screaming didn't give it away. Why don't you put the not-so nice man on the ground and put your hands up hm? " she grinned darkly while keeping her mind focused on the only person she didn't know in the room.

"M-Mara!!!! She can read minds!!!" intense relief even so he hadn't stop trying to fight her.

Ah well .....s**t?

Welp, things were past the point of no return. Should've just ended the man while she had the chance and just walked out. Zira... knew her name, and given the circumstances it wasn't like she was reading her mind. Well, she could be but chances seems astronomical considering how telepaths had a thing of being immune to weaker telepaths and she seemed to be a little slow on the development scale.

'That's my name' She responded, trying to keep her own cool as a door slammed open with a human armed with a pair of dark... guns? They looked pretty real, though something seemed strange about them.

Mara...

Broken_Illumination
"We will have to give you a different name and tell them you have a different item. That’s probably for the best right now until we can sort things out with Mara.” She exhaled deeply, trying to plan things as best as possible.

Okay, maybe she could salvage this somehow. Come to a peaceful resolution? She really wanted to throw this man right out of the f----ing window but compromises could be made. Not to mention Zira seemed to remember her name somehow and Kae had already made mention by acting as her sister-in-law.

Damnit Asriel, keep your damn mouth shut.

Lets just play this off as a misunderstanding. That would work right? Get under Mara's wings and avoid this whole necklace bullshit. She should just throw it out the window, enough noise has been made already.

[Telekinesis] The box the necklace was in flew off the table and out the window.

'I mean no harm. Asriel's terrible at keeping secrets and thought about some training that would happen after I put the necklace on. Kae told me I would be safe here and I hope that is still true.' She conveyed directly to Mara, keeping Asriel dangling in the air upside down. He'd be next out the window if things couldn't be sorted out.

Zira's eyes darted to the door as it slammed open, and her expression never changed nor did she make any move. "Mara... You are awake. Lieutenant Colonel Asriel is in distress via a misunderstanding with Syth. Shall I make her stop, it is only increasing his panic." she answered bluntly. "I am at your command, Colonel Mara." she then flickered her attention to Syth as she explained her side of things. "Kae left the other night to meet someone and has not returned as planned. She is, for the lack of a better word... missing." she watched the box fly out the window and blinked. "Shall I retrieve that..."

"Thank you Zira. For now can you get Ashral out of this room. Tell him I will handle it. Hopefully without any Mess. Seems we just have a big midunderstanding" she said warningly to Syth but didn't lower her guns as she walked into the room.

"We will be talking since I am sure Kae wouldn't have brought anyone truely out of control here " She have Syrh a hard look. "Then just come back, quickly"

Uh My My here's this anikin I guy might be Vader someday later Hopebut now he's a small fry.

Syth let out an audible groan at the best attempt of repeating some infuriatingly stupid string of words in a silly song that was so infuriating! But, she was still giving some method of thought? It was hard to pick up honestly.

Guns were still raised at her, though thankfully with some trigger discipline. Zira was more or less just there to assist and intervene. She could raise her hands in the hand but honestly that was more symbolic than anything else. All she needed to do to fight against this group was to throw some things against a wall or apply some pressure into key points. Zira might be a little more resilient than the other two but that would change soon enough.

"Nope, all in control," She responded, dropping Asriel's upside-down body within an inch of the floor. Throwing Asriel out the door would be so tempting right now.

So.

Very.

Tempting.

But she had to make a show of it. Giving a deep sigh as she release her hold on Asriel, letting him drop to the floor and the chance to pick up whatever belonging he might've dropped. Mara seemed much more competent in dealing with Metas. Or at least not piss-yourself-afraid of dealing with them.

"Misunderstanding is where I'd put it." She replied casually, "I'm of no harm as long as I'm not being threatened. Asriel was just terrible at hiding his bluff so when I called him out on his he started freaking out and throwing a fit because I'm magical and he's not. I simply insisted I actually pull some weight around here without some inhibiting necklace and a mysterious training program so secret that I think it'll screw with my head. At least that's what I assume because mister helpless won't say jack and I'm just left here making an a** out of you and me because assuming is all I can do"

She did make sure to give Asriel a menacing stare to intimidate him further. As long as he was either scared silent or too hysterical to be understood.

Zira nodded, pulling Asriel up into a carry with ease as she calmly walked out of the room. "I apologize that I did not come to help you sooner. The situation will be handled, so please try to relax. Again, sorry about this mess." she tried her absolute best to force an endearing smile then set him down in a safe place and moved back into the room. Shutting the door behind her She looked to Mara and Syth.

/I think I know her... It would be easier if I could read her mind. But just like with Ree, it is not a place I can delve unfortunately./ she spoke telepathically to just Mara.

She stood next to Mara and blinked with an expressionless face, looking to Syth with slight curiosity.
