 This one is basically the same as the other one, though the attitude of the whole thing is significantly different. Oddly enough, Riku looks strangely more benevolent in this picture, appearing as some sort of guardian angel... if you look at it from the right perspective. But still - no indication of sexuality.

 Now, in this one you'll notice that Riku is above Kairi in the picture, and actually drawn slightly larger and more clearly. He shows more confidence, and looks at the viewer, as if he was supporting Sora along with Goofy and Donald. Kairi, however, appears dejected - as if she had been the one in the wrong, strangly enough... Also, while his eyes are alert, it looks as if she's staring right through Sora. Indications of homosexuality...? Basically Nil. So far in the pictures I've posted, all we've gotten is a big question mark. But wait... I didn't say I was done yet, did I?

XD It might be interesting to note that Sora looks dejected as well, which might suggest that Kairi is simply going along with whatever Sora does, instead of acting as a pillar of support, like Riku...X3;
Also, could we maybe cut down on page-stretching just a smidge? =/ Thanks. ^^

Scathach13 Actually... if you pay attention during the disney movies - and I mean REALLY pay attention, you see some pretty suggestive stuff... And it's kinda staring you in the face... You just have to know where to look. Let me put it this way - Aladdin + Clouds + Subliminal Imagry + Certain Words = ??? Omg! I looked most of them up in the movies! haha, such dirty people. rofl Like the word "SEX" in the sky in Lion King 1. Most obvious, of course.

Torrina Shirogane Hmmm...It's interesting to look at the official art from a psychological point-of-view... In the KH cover art, do you think it's significant that Riku is facing to the right, while everyone else is facing left? (I noticed that the other day while I was staring at my strategy guide...XD) Also, on some of the other KH art, one might notice that Kairi is usually depicted between Sora and Riku...I wonder if that has something to do with the whole Sora = Sky, Riku = Land, and Kairi = The horizon that separates them argument? Think it's a possibility? Oh, and as far as the argument as to whether or not Riku was originally meant to be homosexual, I honestly don't know where I stand. It's not that I don't think he and Sora belong together (Hell, I wouldn't be here if I did! XD), but I guess I feel that in a situation like theirs, the feelings they share don't need to have a label. Because they're best friends and have known each other their entire lives, the progression of their relationship just...is. I really don't know how to explain it. I think that what I'm trying to get across is that Riku feels the way he does about Sora because of who he is, and his personality, rather than simply the fact that he's a cute boy. ...You know what I mean? =/ I personally don't think that his sexual orientation can be determined by a few sketches. Actually, to be honest, the analysis sounds somewhat stereotypical... But, as always, that's just me...^^; Yeah, I thought about that soon after I posted and honestly I felt a little bad. But if you think about it MOST homosexuals are like that, from my point of view at least. there are actually few homosexuals that I have seen that stray away from this kind of personality and ways of acting. I wasn't trying to put him in the same category or anything, its just the typical sign... sweatdrop And no, you can't just immediately label someone gay because they are cute (which most tend to do, because we are raging fans who want it to happen) but it happens anyway. Alot of times if a boy is cute we think, 'he's too pretty to be straight! No male cares about what they look like!'. Well, whats wrong with wanting yourself to look good? It all depends on the balance, or rather IMBALANCE of hormones in one's own body that determines whether or not they act more 'feminine' or 'masculine'. My bad for any misunderstandings. whee

Truthfully in this pic..it looks like Sora is trying to get Kairi off because she's annoying..he looks like he wants to go by his "friend" Riku..but Kairi's stupid head is on him because she's sleeping. I guess I would be too if I was a pig-headed crybaby who is trying to break up her two friends who should be together. rolleyes
