Her head bobbed a little. "Especially if you come to visit often!" Masika could always drag Eleina with her to the Matorian markets. Those she was allowed to visit without her mother getting upset.

"You mean you actually have one of those big things!? Oh, how lucky! I've seen them around here and they are beautiful." And scary. Especially if they were protecting their young. Thankfully, though, she'd never stumbled across such a scene. "I bet muma could get her to do things." Her mother wasn't a beast tamer but she was gentle with animals and they seemed to like that.

"Did you know she actually helped Maha to be born? The poor things mother died shortly after so she kept him." Masika looked toward the blue radaku as he lounged on the ground near Dem.

Her eyes widened a bit as Eleina described her familiar. "Black and gold? That must be gorgeous together." Masika wanted a pet that had that coloring now. Or at the very least some type of jewelry. Maybe she could find some things at the market to make one.

As the Oban hybrid said something about her mother she chuckled and leaned close. "She can't follow a healers instructions very well." Masika giggled softly but quieted and straightened as she heard her mother say "I heard that." She grinned at Eleina. "I bet your muma is just as amazing." Wasn't everyones?

So the snaptrotter that Eleina had was just like Maha when it came to patience. She was pretty sure she and her sister put that poor radaku through all kinds of things when they were really little. It made her smile.

"One of her friends is a healer too. She gets scolded when she doesn't listen to them." Masika chuckled, knowing that it was that stubbornness that made her mother who she was. Though it did cause a bit of worry for the family when Dem was seriously injured. Still, hearing that Eleina's mother was awesome was a comfort. Good mothers were always a plus. Before any silence could fill the air between them she remembered something and perked up a bit. "Are you going to the tournament? Muma is participating and I get to watch her. It'll be my first real time in Oba." And she was thrilled at the idea.
