Sakhile post 1 Sakhile was waiting for his turn to fight. He was not sure if he should take his first round pass as a good sign or a bad one... he was hooping it was a sign of Serin's favor but why would a goddess bother about a tournament? Unless they enjoy watching us fight for fun? He found an open seat near the front... near a young child who's mother was off to the tournament ring. "Is it okay for me to sit here?" He asked politely, not sure if the alkidike hybrid would mind. I

Eleina Post 1
Although she had come with Masika and V'demhe they had been separated pretty quickly. Eleina wanted to know who she was fighting and hoped that it wasn't another magic user! She had never fought against one of those in a real fight and was a little worried to do so. She also wanted to find her Ice friend and see if he was fighting. She was sure that like Dem he would win any fight that he entered into.
Finally after seeing the schedule she went to the stands to watch. Some of the more experienced fighters, like V'demhe were fighting early on and she wanted to see it all!
After searching for a while Eleina spotted Masika and headed towards the girl. "Hey Masika! You got a good spot! Mind if I join you? My first fight isn't until a little later so I wanted to be able to watch your mom and the other strong warriors fight while I wait! It's not like I'd get an experience to watch the masters at any other time."

Orpheus Solon @ bisera, bcs idk, shiny things. Vodyanoi - post 1
Vodyanoi (and the rest of the troupe, of course) had come dressed in all their costume finery, and had already spend a good deal of time performing for the crowd. But there was only so much drumming you could do before your muscles went sore, do he was in the midst of enjoying a well-deserved break. Curious, he wandered towards the stands to see he if could catch a glimpse of one of the fights in the tournament. He'd never seen anything quite like that -- people fighting for pure competition, that is -- and he had to admit, the idea was sort of exciting.
The stands were quickly getting crowded, and he found a spot by the railing beside a fair-haired young man with an eye-catching necklace. And, seeing as there was no fighting going on yet, Vodyanoi easily fell into his old pattern of being habitually distracted by pretty trinkets.
"That's nice." He told the stranger, reaching out to point at his jewelry. "Where'd you get it?"

Ceredwyn - Post 1 Ceredwyn arrived a little later than anticipated, no big deal, honestly. It was still day one and this Wind female wasn't going to miss out on what her future held. This time next year she was entering and winning the whole thing if it happened again.
Today she wore a light tunic shirt and some comfortable shorts because it was hot here. She sat in a seat behind the railing and just beamed out wide. Even if she knew no one, well. There was plenty to do, wasn't there? She was going to watch the tournament, try to make friends, get some food.. It was a vacation away from life!
"So exciting! It's my first tournament," she said loudly, hoping to attract someone to talk to.

Aqio - Post 1 Aqio had arrived in a more decorated outfit than before. His Caretaker had spoiled him rotten when they were told Abie was leaving on his own soon. The youth's shirt from before was still present, though it had been tailored to boast some new design that the water male found pleasing. He wore the drape that Shesha had found for him as well as a longer skirt. It was sheer in some places but since he had on shorts it mattered little. The new coin mini skirt he wore over it allowed him to distract others as he danced. Which he was getting better....mostly. He slipped on a few dances but nothing that his Caretaker was lacking faith in. As he walked through the stands he smiled as he saw Shesha. The male was flashy as always. Walking up he leaned around, the bells he now wore in his hair chimed as he tilted his head at the other. "Well. Been a while hasn't it." he didn't smile. Merely gazed impassively at the male.

Draven - Post 1 The buzz, the thrill, excitement was in the air as Draven wandered the streets looking at the wares and goods. He had checked in and noted that his match was later down the lists. He had time to spare and time to get the large Janarim beside him put somewhere where he wouldn't harm someone. The beast still had a habit to come to Draven's aid in the worst of times. And he didn't want him getting into trouble during the matches. "Now you listen to me Regale." Draven said looking sideways at the Janarim, "You are going to stay where I put you until my match is over. I don't need you rushing in and getting me into trouble."Regale, the great gold and crimson Janarim snorted as if he understood, he had other plans. But for the most part Regale did obey Draven, he just had small habits that were hard to kill. Draven stopped and looked at Regale, the Janarim sporting harness with a pair of saddle bags. Regale had hated the harness when it was first strapped to him. He still hated it for the most part, the tough rawhide still soft against the hard scaled skin. "I need you to do this Regale, This could be great for the both of us. I try and win a little money and you get fed well." Draven said patting Regale on the shoulder a bit before moving to one of the packs and pulling out a tight coil of scales. "Besides, you are in charge of watching Nile and our stuff."Gently rolling the scales a round a bit, Nile's small head popped up from the center to give a yawn. Small fangs stretching before her mouth closed and forked tongue licked at the air. The Keldari wasn't much for her kind, still in her hatchling stages for the most part, bit a good foot or so long. Regale regarded the serpent with a golden eye before looking away, as if it had other things to worry about. Like finding V'demhe and her daughter that were there as well. "Alright, lets find something to eat, a light meal should hold until my match. But a good one for the both of you." Draven said as he started walking again, Nile slithering up his arm and drape around his neck to peer out at the world from beneath the youth's dark hair.

Nera - Post One
Heavy scents filled the air stirring excitement in the fully grown woman. The sounds that reached Nera’s rounded ears reminded her of her youth, back when she was a child the king held a few events one of which she had received her favorite stuffed animal and something deep within the masculine-figured Oban roared to life in the most giddy of of ways. Nera chose to leave both of her Janarim in the manor for this day trip, she was going to try her hand in the tournament; Issid and Amir wouldn’t stand seeing her in any form of distress. She couldn’t risk them trying to intervene.
All that aside Nera planned on having the time of her life, there were tons of games and food and she was going to hit everything up.
Excitement lead the white-haired noble across the sands to the nearest stall. Taffy hung in gooey laces and coiled around edible sticks, all but throwing coin at the vendor Nera took two sticks; one light pink the other green with yellow spots. It took only a few moments for the long-haired beast charmer to continue on her way, the second that she turned around a wide-hipped Alkidike bullied past her, normally Nera wouldn’t stand for such rudeness but today she would let it slid. The fatso was lucky.
“Oh,” pausing in mid-step bright pink hues locked onto a small boy perched on his father’s shoulders. He was a hybrid, half Fire Earthling half Shifter. . . he was a pretty little boy with snowy hair and dark skin, there was something about him that made her chest tighten. If only she and Lucjiah could have children of their own maybe they would resemble the little fellow---- no hers would be even cuter. Before she could talk herself out of it Nera approached the father and son duo. “Hey there, aren’t you handsome.” It was the least creepy introduction she could offer.

Bisera Post 2 Bisera broke his gaze away from the warriors that he'd been starring at, having been studying them closely, to glance off to the side to the one that was talking to him. Ah! Bisera's eyes went wide as he found himself starring for a moment at another of the members of the Water Tribe, "Oh! Wow, hello!" He chirped, always so mesmerized by how beautiful and colorful that particular tribe was. Just look at his all of that beautiful hair! As tempted as he was to reach out and try to touch him, as though to make sure he was really real he instead clutched the journal he was carrying, keeping his hands to himself. Recalling the man's question he looked down at the jewelry that he was wearing, his cheeks actually coloring a little, "It's nice? Wow... thank you!" He murmured, sounding quite excited to hear the pieces getting compliments even though they were simple designs, "I made them actually." The designs weren't yet on the level of what Bisera's father was capable of making the compliments given by the Water Tribesmen were enough to put Bisera into an even better mood then the one he'd already been in.

Shesha Post 2 Shesha turned to look at Aqio as the Water Tribesman came jingling over to him, something that caused him to arch one perfect eyebrow at the other man. After a moment he said, "I see that you're losing your fear of being noticed, hm?" If anything it almost appeared as though he wanted all eyes on him? Did he think himself capable enough to take on Parthlio now? Or was this just a ruse to attempt to look stronger? It was a bit like an animal flashing bright colors as a means of warding off predators Shesha thought to himself as he gave Aqio a once over, his eyes coming to study his face, taking in the lack of much expression. "Is there something on your mind, little fish?" He didn't much care for that look or the lack of a smile as it made it appear as though Aqio were bored while standing in his presence. Such a rude little fish, and after he'd been so nice to him up to this point... was this some sort of show of Matorian pride? No matter, he wouldn't let him ruin today as it was a nice show that would be put on by the fighters. He was hoping that there would be plenty of magical sorts out there because he felt that this was a great way of studying their techniques. Magical study was his excuse for getting out of his own training for the duration of the tournament in fact. Motioning with one hand at Aqio he said, "You can sit if you like... or if you keep starring at me in such a manner you can be on your way, little fish." While he had liked him well enough for a fish he wouldn't abide by such a look.

Aqio Post 2 The Water male blinked ah...was Shesha expecting a smile. That...that was pretty entertaining. "Oh don't be a frazzled Prezi." the smile came naturally as he slipped into the seat next to the other male. "I don't typically smile when I first see someone. Something my brother and Caretaker say I need to work on. As for the..." he looked at his finery. "Outfit. Its training. If I can move in this and successfully sneak up on the Mentor..." which he hadn't. "Then I pass a test." he let out a sigh. "Sadly from what I've been told...its only step one." He glanced around. "There's so many here. You wouldn't think that everyone would be as forgiving as they appear to be."

Masika Post 2Her mother was still standing nearby, looking around for those she knew when Masika heard someone ask if it was alright to sit near her. The girl looked up at the hybrid male and smiled as she nodded her head. "Oh, sure!" It wasn't like there were assigned seats and there was still another one on the other side of her for someone else if they came along. "I'm Masika." Right as she introduced herself she heard her name called, the same time she said it in fact, by a familiar female voice. Instantly the blue girl's face lit up and she lifted a hand to wave at Eleina. "Sure, you can sit on this side." Masika motioned to the side that was still available and giggled. "Muma fights soon so you'll get a show." Then her attention switched back to Sakhile on her other side. "Oh! This is my friend Eleina. Eleina this is.. uhm.." Her cheeks colored a little as she realized she had been rude and started speaking to her Oban friend before getting the boy's name. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you. Are you fighting or just here to watch?" robot kitten Saki - Masika is a prentice now. XD <3

V'demhe Post 2Her eyes went toward the young boy that spoke to her daughter but she didn't seem to be against him taking a seat there. After all, she'd given her daughter a knife in case she needed it. Then someone else caught her attention. It was Eleina. The Alkidike woman chuckled. So that's where she had gone. Once the Oban hybrid was close enough Dem made sure to speak to her. "Eleina, while I'm fighting make sure Masika doesn't wander off or anything." Of course her daughter wasn't a youngling anymore but as a mother she was protective and almost always worried about her. Then she looked around to see if anyone else she knew or had come with was going to pop up out of the wood work. "Did you see Draven, Masika?" She hoped that her daughter's eyes were better than hers and had spotted the boy so that she could stop fretting about his well being.

Klaas - Post 1 This foolhardy Oban didn't have far to travel, honestly. This was the top of his to do list before he left Oban to travel to.. well, who knew where. So this get together was a good idea to find a group, or even just a single person he could actually travel with. By Earthling standards, Klaas was at the very top of their normal height, very tall. He weaved in and out of the shorter crowds with limited problems. The most that happened is he got stared at and little kids whispered about the Oban with the mask. Oh well. He climbed the stands until he came to an area that didn't have many other people in it and took a seat. Klaas stretched those long legs that went on for days in front of him and let out an annoyingly loud moaning sigh. "Aaaaah!"

Shima: Post 1Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!! Shima couldn't believe that they had managed to slip away from their parents to attend this event! Shima didn't even seem bothered by the fact that Jerami was clinging to her hand like a lost radaku pup. In fact she held her brothers hand quite tightly as she went about pointing at various things and squealing as she did so. "I am SOOOOO glad we came!! This is just...WOW so different from back home." Shima managed between her excited giggling. Looking at all the different people and beasts was far too interesting for her. She knew there was a tournament going on but honestly she was just too excited to be here. So what if they snuck off .....without telling their mothers. Shima was perhaps a bit too brash when it came to adventure. She would deal with their angry parents later. "Oh wow!! We should totally get ourselves some food. It looks so different!" Shima continued her chattering tugging Jerami in the direction of food stalls and hoping her other sister Jhana would come along. She knew how stiff she could be at times.

Ashta: Post 1
The elder brother gave the younger a grim look, it didn't look like Kyruie was fairing well in this enviroment and to be honest he wasn't entirely sure what to think of the circumstance either. Their parents had insisted that they go enter the tournament , boasting about how they could show off the strength of their people. Ashta didn't mind and was eager to vent his frustration on his unsuspecting opponent. His brother...looked horrid though. Ashta assumed that bad memories would likely be tapped by revisiting this place he had been sold into slavery of the most obscene kind. What was worse...was that Ashta was to play chaperone to Sriina and Kyruie and allow them to 'get to know each other' a bit better.
This was going to be the longest day of his life. Spotting Sriina, annoying thoughts sprang to mind he glanced at his brother again and using a hand prodded him to stand up straighter, his brother looked to be shaking like a leaf.Kyruie: Post 1
This wasn't happening was it? The poor man thought to himself as the large crowds surged around them. Why was he here? Right because mother and father insisted that they participate and make their people proud. So why was Sriina here too? He watched as the young woman approached and he felt his heart thud heavily in his chest. He caught the grim look in his brothers expression and he was forced to look away. A hand poked at him to straighten up and thus he was forced to. Months of training had added muscle to his frame, he was perhaps the best health he had bee in his life and yet he felt very fragile.
Sriina was heading over. What was he going to say to her? The wedding was still continuing despite the fact neither seemed exactly keen on going through with it. The shield user sighed, wishing against all hope that Tera was around some where...that he could slip off and spend a bit of time with the healer.
