Leeroi rocked back and forth, shifting the sled and testing the ice. His whole body was tense. He was ready to DO this thing. He had been waiting all week for it!
"ARE YOU READY GUO?" Leeroi yelled back to his teammate, grinning wildly. And then, without even so much as a countdown, he turned forward to run and shouted.
"LET'S DO THIS!"

"Yeah dude, this is gonna be awesome!" Guouli enthused. The rest of Bloodfest could burn, except for maybe Assjacked, compared to this. He was so ready. Leeroi was up front, of course. Guo was about to share some comradery with his fellow blueblood, but then Leeroi was already out of the starting gate.
"ThIS Is A PaRTNER ThING, DumBASS!" he screamed, chasing after Leeroi and hopping in last minute.

The sled felt... Lighter than what Leeroi expected. Then he heard Guo yelling at him, and it made more sense. Whoops.
"YOU BETTER HURRY THE ******** UP DUDE, IM NOT SLOWING DOWN!" Leeroi lied. He had, in fact, slowed down a slight bit. He'd probably get disqualified if he did the course alone. Plus Guo would be pissy about it after.

Guo took a minute to punch Leeroi in the arm. "Don't get too excited! We just started, meathead! Now follow my lead!" Probably not the best thing to tell Mr. I'm In Charge, but screw it, Guo was pretty miffed still.

"Yeah sure, buddy, sure," Leeroi was compliant with Guo's whines. Whatever made him feel better, as long as it helped them take home the win. "Let's just do this thing, alright?" Leeroi tensed, turning his focus back to the course.
The opening was just up ahead. His whole body tensed. "Get ready for the jump!" Leeroi announced, leaning back for speed.
