Hexxis closed her eyes and seemed to sigh, dropping her head slightly as he spoke of Ree. "Impulsive is a deadly trait." she commented bluntly. Opening her eyes to look out for a moment as she thought. He allured that he might have an idea as she looked to him and nodded. When he pulled his hand away, she reflexively grabbed the side of his jacket. Hexxis seemed reluctant to let Tri get too far, but looked to her hand to realize what she was doing and let go of him as she forced herself to stop trying to keep him so close."Why so conflicted? You want him to stay close... So you can protect him. Yet, you push him away because you want to protect him from yourself. Allow me to help, you don't have to be afraid. But you will have to choose if you want him closer or push him away... Are you even capable of standing on your own I wonder.... We might have to see."Hexxis looked away to think for a moment, her face reminiscent of the very first time they met, void of emotion as she directed her attention to Tri. "I will wait as long as I need to. However, I need an understanding that if I become fully compromised by Ashral again, I request you terminate my project immediately." she paused, still staring at him with a expressionless face. "I do not feel I have to capacity the handle being responsible for your death again. I... do not want to see you gone either." her voice was calm and robotic just as before, as she regressed away from the emotions she was scared of allowing to the surface."...I see. How interesting."

"Hexxis, you are not a project any more " His voice was quiet as he looked down at her while truthfully not being able to prove that at all. "At least not to me. I will not terminate you unless... " now he paused and just shook his head because for all he knew she would try to push to that. If she would force him into another decision between Ree and her. She was starting to become someone he cared about, with Ree and Mara it was easy ...and it was much different than with Estrian.
"I won't terminate you." He said finally as he looked down at her, the faintly pain look in his eyes harden as he looked down into her emotionless ones as he switch roles and things became a little more clear. "You will have to find the way to fight her. So you can keep what you want safe "

Hexxis paused in thought at the notion that she wasn't a project anymore. She knew that they could call it any name they wanted, but at the end of the day, she was still an experiment and a weapon. Even if they no longer ran invasive tests on her or tried to train her specifically to kill, it was still apparent that she had been created to solely be a weapon. That brainwashing was proving harder to overcome as she teetered between folding back in on her old ways, or trying to grow as a person. At least not to me. She blinked at him, eyebrows raised slightly in a bit of confusion and pain. His words touched her deeply, as she always hung onto every word he said, like he meant the world to her. I won't terminate you."He would be incapable of terminating us, Hexxis. You know that. It would break my deal. You don't want that do you? You can't possibly want me kill Tri, do you?"Her eyes shifted away from Tri as she looked off as though listening to something. She exhaled shakily as she looked concerned. "...I didn't... No. I didn't want that. That's not what I meant." she responded aloud. "I just..." she paused, trying to think of what to say but nothing would come."Then why don't you let me help you? Stop fighting me and just listen. We can coexist, Hexxis. We stay close to Tri, you can have that. But you also need time with me. So I can teach you how to fight. Learn to protect your damn self. Because the more I have to come out, the more risk you take ending in Tri's death. And not just because I would love every minute of ripping his last breath from his lifeless body, but because the deal I made prevents me letting anyone hurt you. Be thankful that I'm only considering physical harm. If I was truly such a cruel being, I'd have still killed Tri for causing you such emotional grief even now."Hexxis seemed defeated a bit as the conflict between wanting to get stronger and Ashral seemingly wanting her to do it. Was it a trap? Reverse physcholoy? Hexxis couldn't pinpoint her angle as she sat, her shoulder slumped lightly as a glimmer of a frown set across her lips. "Ashral wants... the same thing." she muttered quietly, closing her eyes in pain for a moment before looking back to Tri. "I'm fairly disgusted how much you look up to him. He's weak. You should look up to someone stronger... like Ree."Hexxis looked confused, but still staring up at Tri. "...why Ree? I... disagree with that statement.""You don't know what you're doing, Hexxis..""Ashral.. stop." she spoke half in desperation but her voice also slightly commanding. "...as... you.. wish." she spoke slowly through what sounded like gritted teeth. She didn't seem happy about something. "But you do know that I'm much stronger than you are, and with our souls so close together, I could easily come out. right. now. she pushed the edge of her psyche, just even to make Hexxis really feel like she might actually take over with Tri standing right there.Hexxis leaned away from Tri a bit and placed her hands on her head. "..don't do that. I just... I'm sorry. Please stop." she spoke calmly with a hint of panic as she waited for a moment and the pushing subsided and Hexxis sighed with a bit of relief but still looked worried and defeated. She slowly looked to Tri and frowned, "..I will try.." she finally answered, the dropping her head a bit in regret.

Tri watched her solemnly as she fought with herself, giving her time to come to her own conclusions. He will ask Kae about his idea certainly...and he will have to train her with the others even if that made Ashral stronger. SIU wouldn't let her go while she still had a malice within her, and she was a useful weapon. Mara might but her own superiors would not support it, that he was sure of.
He watched her with a faint hint of confusion and curisoity, never having seen her express herself so much in so little time . The only pity is that it wasn't anything joyous just continual pain and suff-
"Ashral? " the Malice was actively talking to her? Of course Ashral wanted Hexxis to get stronger, she became stronger with her. A wash of fear hit him as Hexxis mentioned Ree then for Ashral to stop.
"Ashral....remember part of your deal was not to torture Hexxis " the voice was cold but there was only confusion and a look of helplessness on his face, having no actual way to help her against the Malice..other than to mention pieces of the deal again, and who knows if Ree had come back yet.
Hating both the sense of concern and fear he was feeling even more having to depend on Ree for something like this. It almost made him wish he accepted the contract in the first place but he knew he still wouldn't have, always hope to live than to die like that.
Reaching out to her he sighed softly, not even sure what to do of if the Malice would take over to talk..something he really wish wouldn't happen. Yet he watched her carefully.

Hexxis sat there with defeated slumped shoulders as she listened to Tri talk to Ashral. A sudden wave hit her as she grimaced as she put her hands on her head again, straining as her closed her eyes tightly. "How about you remember what I'm capable of... and remember that I told you both that it was minimal. I'm not the one hurting her. You are! I'm trying to help and only met with more filth from your cowardice tongue. Do not tell me what to do. I do not ever have to like you." Hexxis looked up to Tri, deadpan look as it was hard to tell who was in control even with her eye still blue. She stared right at Tri intensely. "Remember who you are talking to, Tri. Or shall I remind you exactly how we play around here..." Hexxis reached a calm hand up to gently touch his face, gliding it down his cheek slightly. Then her hand drew back in hesitation. "Ashral what are you doing?" she asked suddenly as she looked a bit pained. "I'm just playing with Tri a little... aren't we, Tri?... Or shall I do something else" Hexxis was frozen, her hand close to his face still as she battled internally against the malice that seemed to take just enough control to talk to Tri, even move her body against her wishes. "Tri,.. I'm sorry. I'm trying." "You're kidding me, you're barely trying... it's like you want me here. Fight me back, dammit or just shutup!"

Tri narrowed his eyes jerking his face away from her touch as he lifted his wings in warning. "We're not playing" he rested his hands on the rail and pushed away until he was a foot back watching her ..them.
He couldn't even tell now ,with the blue eye the way it was, if it was Ashral or Hexxis in control other than for personality. Ashral didn't even seem to be trying to hard. "....I am going to go get hexxis something to eat. keep trying" taking a different approach.... leaving. Will wait outside but staying would just incite Ashral move and hut Hexxis...and keep confusing him.

Her thoughts were chaotic, overshadowed by Ashral as she tried to regain as much control as possible. Ashral was pushing her, pushing hard, but only enough to scare her into thinking she might take full control and push her to the back like she always did. She was struggling hard against her now, panic setting in as she didn't know what to do. Ashral was demanding she fight back, but she felt like she was with everything she had. Why wasn't it working? Why was Ashral still pushing so hard? At this rate.... Suddenly, Tri's voice broke through her thoughts, if only for a brief moment. They both listened. He was leaving. 'Don't go..' 'This was what you wanted... to push him away. You got your wish.' She quiet watched him leave as her chest began to hurt. Her heartrate was quickening as the room was silent and she was alone. "No...This isn't what I wanted, Ashral!" she exclaimed, her heartrate was climbing too fast as she leaned forward grabbing her chest, the pain rising up as the warning light on the the monitor began to flash yellow and beep. "Look at you,... how could anyone love you after the things you've done. You're only a liability to them. But that's okay, you don't need them, only I could understand you. No one could love you like I do..." "...shutup... Shutup right now! This is your fault! Everyone hates me because of you!! Tri hates me because of you!!! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!" she screamed at herself, the pain only increasing as the monitor began to flash red. Hexxis closed her eyes tightly, forcing her mind to a quiet, save for the alarm beeping rapidly as she just tried her best to shove Ashral back hard. "I'll never let you hurt him! He's my father, and there's nothing you can do about that! So you just shutup! I... I........" she was getting dizzy now, her heart pounding so fast and so hard. She leaned to the side a bit, pulling against the restraints lightly. Her head was pounding in tandem with her heart and she clutched her shirt hard, threatening to rip the fabric from how hard she was gripping it, knuckles white. "....i .. can't breathe.." she whispered through gasped breaths as she pulled the restraint harder, breaking one from the bed, her body moving on its own a bit as she folded in on herself just trying to stifle the pain and get control of her breathing again.

Tri leaned back against the wall, wings lifting and lowering and even extending just to touch the flat surface behind him, if just a little. Part of him wanted to yell at Ashral but Ashral was also Hexxis, another part wanted to comfort her while both parts feared her never knowing which one was which.
Leaning his head back against the wall he sighed softly, eyes closing so he wouldn't have to look at some of the odd looks he was getting. He missed Ama... it wasn't something he thought of often lately, but right now he really wished he had someone to ask.
Tri waited quietly hearing Hexxis voice yelling from within and gripped the arm of his jacket, not moving to respond. If he returned Ashral would continue to taunt her...at the same time it hurt him not to go to her either especially after she started to look more.. open.
He let out a soft huff, doing nothing, nothing at all as the voice behind him started getting louder, seemingly fighting with herself. Nothing until the machines started to beep a warning. "......!" he pushed away from the wall and turned grabbing the door and throwing it open and he went inside.
"Hexxis...." glancing toward the body curled up on the bed as the machine gave a blue alert and sent a warning to the desk. He moved to her as a nurse rushed in and moved him to the side, muttering something about staying calm as another person came in and started to pull up an injection. Tri moved to the other side of the bed attempting to cover her head with a wing as they attempted to give her something to relax and help her heart slow down. "I'm sorry.... I'm sorry I left. Just ...try to stay calm " he said quietly with a hint of panic, not caring that the humans heard, why did he have to leave now that she woke up? Ashral.... the beginning and end of everything.

'Even at your hardest, you're still not strong enough to stop me... you're far too weak.''Shut up, Ashral! I don't care if I'm weak.. I don't need strength to beat you...' Her mind was calming down even if her body wasn't as she was still curled up. She forced her eyes open, staring at the bed, her eyes pained. "Get away from me." she spoke softly, in a low voice, pushing the nurse and Tri away. She could already see the needle, a fear lying dormant was trying to kick up as she was doing her best to get her heart to calm on it's own. 'No... you're going to help me.''Oh?''That's right, you're going to start doing what I say now.''I'm curious to know how you'll manage that...' She could almost feel the grin on Ashral's lips as she spoke in her mind now.'You'll leave Tri alone... or I'll kill us both without hesitation.''How can you expect to protect his life, when you can barely keep yours under control. You're still too weak.''I will do with my life as I see fit. And if I choose to protect his life with my own, then so be it. But I'm far too tired to feel this pain alone anymore... If I must feel this anguish, then I will make you feel this tenfold. I will curse you every moment of my life until you suffer as much as I have... No more, Ashral. If Tri cannot terminate us, then I shall do it myself when you've gone too far.' she slid her hands up to hug herself as she battled her mind. 'Are we clear... I... I'm not a child anymore.''You were never a child.. only a weapon. But you've made yourself quite clear.... I almost commend you. So what do you do from here, since there's nothing I can do for you in this situation...'Hexxis' eyes widen just a little, then she let out a shaky exhale then nodded and motioned to the doctor but still looked away, grabbing at anything on Tri should could reach.. 'Fine, but from here on, things will be different.''...as you wish.'She waited for the pain of the syringe, "...I'm sorry, Tri...." she tried to shove her face into the nearest thing to block her view, "....I......... I made her go away."

"Get away from me"
Tri took a step back as she pushed him away as well the nurse, already he was moving to the other side of the bed to protect the humans just encase. "Wait" he said softly as she put down what they were doing and where already heading toward the door with a fearful look in their eyes. They almost didn't stop anyways until he continued talking. "That was Hexxis " he said quietly, guessing from the soft voice and the lack of violence that followed. The machines were still beeping and he was tense opening his mouth to ask why when her face changed to one of shaky relief then fear, at least from what he learned to tell from her.
"...I......I made her go away"
His eyes widen as he moved closer at her signal, barely wincing as he moved to put his wing over her again and felt her grab on to that. After a few seconds he nodded to the nurse to go on and give her the injection as he watched her, covering her from the sight. "Did you make a deal with her?" His voice carried the pain of the thought of losing another to Ashral, but wanting to know before the drug possibly put her to sleep.

Hexxis closed her eyes as she felt the pinch of the syringe hit her skin, concentrating on the sleek feel of his feathered wings. "..i'm sorry.." She let go her hands but still kept her face in his wing, moving a hand to pet across his feathers for a moment then put her hands against her chest again, still leaned forward a bit as she was calming down with the aid of the drug they gave her. He asked her if she made a deal, she opened her eyes and stared at the bed with a unexpressive look. "No deal. Possible ultimatum, but nothing to resemble a contract. I just told her how I felt and commanded her to leave. She has complied, agreeing to satisfy my requests." Her eyes were tired but she was reluctant to sleep. "I will get stronger despite her." she commented as she was leaning more into his wing, still fighting the trance that the drugs were putting her in, threatening to make her sleep. "..please don't leave.." she whispered softly as the alarm died down. She reached a hand toward him, but continued to stare at the bed with a vacant face.

Tri moved closer and took her hand, curling the wing around her until he was supporting her head lightly while he leaned down and gently kissed the top of her head. Ignoring the utterly surprised look of the nurse and her helper after he had pulled away.
"I won't leave " he said quietly without pulling his hand away, reluctant to when it was Hexxis and not Ashral. "Rest...you did very well " //so ....sorry// he added in his mind only because those were words he couldn't say to her. Wishing to save her from the pain and unable to do anything except comfort her.
