The poor girl proceeded to trip over a Nidoran(Female, it looked like), as she escaped, resulting in a very angry Poison Pin Pokemon. "Nidoooo!" Her quills stood on end as she returned to her feet before a Poison Sting was slung towards her. Idina jumped into the air and bolted forward, encased in flames, the Flame Charge burning the toxic needles to ash in seconds, the fox stopping just in front of the tiny Poison-type. "Boo!" The little Pokemon managed little more than to suddenly faint out of a combination of shock at it's attack being stopped so easily and fright at the knowledge it could be seconds from death.

"Oh, look, a mutant Chocobo." Trish commented as a Doduo walked past her. She decided to allow it to remain living in it's own hell and move on with her own life. She had other things to look for anyway. There had been rumors of a very rare Fire-type in here. Depending on what it was, she just might be giving it to someone else. She was looking for a gift for a new friend lately anyway.

Now there was no getting by this. The Arbok hissed at the trainer and his pokemon. Ryan raises Ursula like a rifle and takes aim. "Graft, attack with Mud Bomb. Urusla, Psybeam if you please." Ryan orders his pokemon. Graft quickly rolls up a ball of mud and launches it skyward in an arc, with the downward fall bringing it square onto the Arbok's back. A follow up shot of a Psybeam dispatched the snake. "Good Job you two. Let's keep moving." Ryan praises, then keeps the focus on his hunt.

"Hello, Mr. Owl. Good bye." And with that, the Hoothoot was ignored and she went on her way. It wasn't a particularly rare Pokemon so it wasn't likely to be an escapee, anyway.

Ryan hears the soft snore of a HootHoot on a tree branch. Not what he was searching for either. Ryan and his pokemon make a quiet passing.

A Ledyba fluttered by, triggering a small memory from her childhood. "They say it's good luck if a Ledyba lands on you." Her mother had told her once. "Why would anyone want that?" She asked, realizing how large the Bug-type was.

Beau would flutter into their little contest, intent on capturing whatever it was that was causing those beautiful explosions in the distance. It sounded so delightful.

Ryan spots the tiny poison point pokemon. Easily avoidable and as so, he and his pokemon woudl continue on, letting the tiny pokemon to be.

Yet another Nidoran decided to play speed bump for Trish as she did the rounds of the city, this one a male. Trish didn't give it a chance to try anything like it's predecessor. "Idina, Psyshock." The baseball-like orb of Psychic energy flew through the air and crashed into the Poison Pin Pokemon, knocking it away and out cold in one blow.

Ryan must of taken a wrong turn at some point, because he just passed by the same HootHoot he had earlier. The young man would mumble and continue on.

Stopping by one of the local ponds, the girl happened across a Slowpoke, which she briefly considered. The king of ditzes wasn't the worst of possibilities, should it manage to win the contest for her. But then again. Fire-types were an option too. And she didn't have but the one yet. So she decided for now to pass it up. As she walked off, she missed the little purple blur dancing past her with several paper tickets in it's tail hand. What?

Ryan heard a commotion coming from ahead of him. When he saw it, he snorted hard with laughter. An Aipom was taunting a poor Paras, having stolen a mushroom from it. Every time the Paras tried to hit Aipom with a spore, the money would dodge and taunt it even harder. Ryan would move on in another direction, leaving the pair to settle their feud.
