The motorcycle picked up speed rapidly in an attempt to catch up with the car. Andy emerging from the top of the car caught Kage off guard. "What the hell are you doing?" He shouted the question at her, but the wind and distance made it impossible to understand. He swerved almost losing control as the first shot flew beside him. Not daring to look back he trusted Andy to deal with anyone in pursuit hoping it wouldn't be very many with the gate locked magically.
The bike shook as something slowed the front wheel slightly. 's**t... Did they shoot the tire earlier?' Kage thought to himself. Acting purely on instinct and the need to get as far from the compound as quickly as possible, he leaned back raising the front tire off of the ground. Kage steadied himself and the bike with his levitation when the wheel suddenly stopped spinning as if someone had hit the brakes on it. Expanding his senses Kage began searching for the one thing capable of such a feat, an enemy Meta.

Melody moved further in his way, arms outstretched as she had a very serious but childish look about her. She was determined not to let him leave, just as Ree had instructed her to. "Don't make me sit on you!!" she exclaimed, her face becoming even more stern.
Kae sighed, watching Tri. "Yes, Ree sent us, because he knew you'd want get up. The alert isn't anything bad like that. We are not under attack, it's just the stupid shadow meta doing something kinda really dumb and set off the alarm. Though, he's going to get what's coming to him." she explained, trying to downplay the situation. "It's okay, just lay down. Ree has this handled. Besides, Zira is with him, anyway. She can handle it if he tries to pull a fast one." she moved to him, staring at his with cold eyes that were surprisingly inviting. "Everything's fine... we wouldn't be here if there a chance he'd be in great danger."

Blaise reached up and banging on the inside roof of the car. "You are not invincible!! Get off the damn roof, you idiot!!!!" she screamed as she steadied the car with one hand, trying to focus on the road and staying on the path.
Andy ignored the bang and yelling as she steadied her next shot, her face determined as she flicked the coin as it shot past Kage again, hitting another pursuing vehicle, she moved another coin to her hand and readied yet again, hesitating slightly as she watched Kage pull the bike up into a wheelie. She seemed confused for a moment before refocusing on the pursuing vehicles. Charging up her electricity once more, she focused on the tires of one the vehicles and took a deep breath, about to launch another high-powered coin at them.

Tri stared at Melody and raised his wings only to sharply lower them with a gasp of pain. Glancing away from them quickly, he didn't want to show his pain or fear as he leaned against the desk for support ....or weakness but not much hope in that. "Sit...on me.." He almost wanted to laugh or shout in frustration, not quite sure which. While an even smaller part of him wanted to obey..memories of an irritated and disappointed white hair meta came to mind with Melody's posture and words. He applauded the small meta's courage only he wished it hadn't been with him.
Listening to Kae he finally looked up when she moved closer, glowing silver meeting cold red and finally looking away. As long as someone was with Ree.... Stop him from trying to be too clever and blowing something up..or getting injured in the process.Or just injured in general with Meta's own unpredictability. "Mara?" He asked quietly looking up again even as he slowly obeyed and sat down in the chair, his lower wings trembling slightly from the pain in his back.

"Haha! Nice " Ree muttered softly to himself a faint smirk as the wind stole his word away. As angry as he was with Kage he really couldn't help admire the wheelie in the middle of a pursuit...that is if he could ignore everything else and think it was a movie. Taking his attention from the wheel he rested for a few seconds as he took a new look at the scene. Andy was hitting the humans from the top of the car with something like she was holding still, and Kage was still a danger hmm... Pushing Andy might not do anything if she was stuck on there as she was...but...
//Zira...if you can manage it, slash their tires. I would also say slash the undercarriage if you can ...but you might be shocked // he warned as he watched Andy get ready to shoot and smiled faintly as he used telekinisis to try and push Kage ,motorcycle and all, into her line of fire. Not realizing he had lost complete control of the shadows around him and could be faintly seen from below.

On one wheel there wasn't much Kage could do as the bike began to tilt. His levitation already strained holding the front half of the bike in place along with himself fell away as the tilting revealed long white hair in the sky. Not that Kage actually knew it was hair, there was just something white out of place in the darkness of the sky. The bike landed with both wheels on the ground before spiraling out of control as Kage rose up suddenly. Rising he began to make out the Meta hiding in the sky, things suddenly becoming clear. The first time they had met, Ree had demonstrated the ability to manipulate objects at a distance and now he had been using that to sabotage the motorcycle. Kage flew at him as quickly as he could attempting to end his pursuit of the car so that Andy could get away safely.
The motorcycle flipped moving into the path of Andys' next attack as Kage finally got close enough to Ree to shout out, "Quit following us! I don't want to hurt you, Ree! I will if you make me though!"

So far, Andy had not done any lethal damage, just putting holes in cars enough to make them undriveable. As the third coin shot from her hand, she saw Kage's bike move and the charge hit the bike. Her eyes widened as it exploded and she stumbled slightly on top of the car, kneeling down to reground herself. She saw Kage fly into the sky and she sighed with relief. Then she saw Ree and she frowned. "Ree! We don't have to fight!! Come with us!!! You don't have to stay with them!! We can just go and be free!!!" she called out to him, her loud voice carrying to him clearly, intertwined with her sadness, her desperation, her fear. She hesitated for a moment and moved to try to climb back into the car through the moonroof.
Suddenly, the car swerved hard to the side and she lost grip falling to the side of the car as she grabbed onto the opening in the roof and slammed against the roof, almost falling completely off. "Ahh!! Blaise!!" she screamed in panic, trying to hold on tightly, fear set in completely, she didn't know what to do.
"SHITSHITSHIT!!" she cursed loudly as the front tire fell away and the car swerved a hard left as she tried to keep the car in control. She reached up and grabbed Andy's hand, helping her hold on, keeping one hand on the wheel. "Hold on! We have to stop!!" she tried to use the brake but nothing happened. "NONONONONO s**t!!!!!!!" she knew it would be seconds before the car would swerve back hard enough to flip the whole thing at this speed. Her heart sank hard as she had to make a decision, save the girl or save Andy. She gritted and let go of Andy. "FLY, YOU IDIOT!!" she screamed, shoving her away from the car as she unbuckled her seatbelt and dove into the backseat, wrapping herself around Hexxis as the car veered hard one last time before flipping multiple times and slamming into a barrier on the side of the road.
Andy had taken wing shakily as she was pushed and could only watch as the car flipped multiple times and crashed into a barrier with Blaise and Hexxis still inside. Her face looking in horror as a pained look fell over her face and she dropped down to the ground, falling to a sitting position as she just stared at the wreckage in horror of the situation.

Melody exhaled in a huff and nodded with determination. "You aren't allowed! You.. you don't have the access level to... leave this room!" she made up official sounding words, trying to convince him not to leave. She then frowned, "You should trust Ree more!!" she scolded as she waved her finger at him.
Kae sighed at Melody's tactics, then Kae blinked a bit as she stared at Tri, flickers of memories within her mind as she closed her eyes for a moment then nodded. "Let's go see her. You'll just see her be angry that Kylar is setting off alarms recklessly. Maybe that will put your mind at ease, however." she waved a hand over her ears as they faded away and when she opened her eyes again, they were brown, the appearance of a human that she used when dealing with Mara's superiors or other staff members that didn't know her. They hadn't even put two and two together with her using her real name. Though, maybe they just didn't scrutinize it very hard. Either way, Kae figured that Mara wouldn't let slip about Hexxis being taken to Tri, she couldn't possibly be that stupid as to alert her own injured son into trying to go out and retrieve her. She had hoped anyway.
Kae nodded to Melody, as Melody nodded back and took Tri's hand, making sure he didn't try to run away, she was his watcher for now.
As they made it to Mara's room, she knocked and tried the door. It wouldn't budge and it was quiet. Very unsettling. She paused and glanced back to Tri then to the door, pushing it harder to no avail. This is not a good sign. Kae placed a hand on the door as she closed her eyes and concentrated with everything she could as a few items barricade the door moved a bit and some fell away to the ground, just trying to telekinetically move enough to get the door to open even a little. Why would she barricade the door like this? Was she afraid? It didn't make sense. Pressing her shoulder against the door, she was able to get the door ajar enough they could probably slide through with some effort.
Melody was the first to enter, mostly as a scout now, effortlessly getting through the stuck door due to her size as she walked in. "Mara!" she called out happily as she moved to hug her, unaware of the situation going on.

Quit following us! I don't want to hurt you, Ree! I will if you make me though!"
Ree blinked and turned his attention to Kage back winging away to put more distance between them. Darn it he didn't know Kage could float this high...meaning the Shadow would have more manuvebility if he got close enough.
"Then give me back Hexxis " he yelled as he stopped back winging and shifted his wing rhythm and position to hover. He didn't care about Andy...after what Kage did she was different than the meta he had meet the first time, less of a danger. Blaise? She freaked him out plain and simple. And Kage himself? He could have left any time he wanted without the SIU going after him. But Hexxis? With her Malice and Tri "adopting" her ..they would chase and he would not stop working until they got her back. Which considering the condition he was in might kill him.
"Ree! We don't have to fight!! Come with us!! You don't have to stay with them!! We can go and be free!!"
He didn't look away from Kage but heard the words... barely. His eyes widen slightly as he looked confused then hesitant as if he was actually considering her words then shook his head. " No.....Hexx-"
The sound of a large pop almost like a gunshot followed by screeching of metal on asphalt pulled his attention away from Kage as he watched Andy , who was holding onto the sunroof, let go as the car flipped over a few times and crash into the cement barrier.
//oh no.....oh nononononono// he stared horrified not even... not thinking -that- would happen. They looked so slow flying from up above, but even then he .. Didn't...
He dove, furling his wings in closely to gain more speed, ignoring Kagr as he headed for the car. " Hexxis? Is... " //Hexxis?! Is she alive? // he tried to send out at Zira, wings flaring before his descent, not even trying any of the aerial maneuvers he loved to use. Back winging the last few feet he landed and rushed toward the car.

Tri blinked and looked at her, trust him more? He probably should it has just always been so awkward for them sometimes..not knowing when he was the father or the leader of the two person unit. Tri just sigh at her attempt and used his free hand to pat Melody's head tiredly before letting her grab his hand.
"Yes...an angry Mara is better than not knowing where she disappeared to.." Mentioning back to her calling from a place nearly an hour away. Getting up slowly he waited until he felt settled enough before pushing everything back down, the worry, the fear ...should trust him. Now he followed them quietly, glancing around at the few humans they did see....realizing that he didn't know Kae wore that other disguise around them ...it makes sense now that there have almost been no complaints about an Elf in the facility.
Something was wrong. Tri tensed as he watched Kae knock on the door.. Look back at him before he heard things moving on the other side. "Mara?" This time he had the sense of mind not to lift his wings but he moved toward the door once it opened..watching Melody squeezed through first as he tried to follow the same way befor stopping and pulling enough shadows to him to teleport inside. (Shadow teleport: 3 left )
"D-Don't come in!" Mara...Mara that was her name, that was what that paper and the cards in her wallet said. But why was she here? Who was Mara? Why couldn't she remember?! . That was what she had been trying to figure out before people started knocking on the door, calling for her...when she finally got the courage to move and barricaded it when they left.
Her hunt around the room was now on the bed, papers, books, clothings, boots, weapons...a sword and a three guns.
Now she stared wide-eyed as everthing she had placed against the door started moving to the side for no reason..no reason at all. She grabbed the gun closest to her, automatically unclicking the safety, as she aimed for the door her hands shaking, her heart pounding as cold sweat started to bead on the forehead. Things don't just move on their own!
She nearly shot the girl, that was all she could think about when the black hair girl squeezed through and shouted her name like a little ray of sunshine, running up and hugging her. She didn't know what to do, she didn't know her but the girl knew her. "W-who are ..you? " she said softly lowering her weapon slowly.
"Mara?"
A new voice outside, an adult voice. She raised her weapon again and took aim, shifting her position to deal with the recoil. Darkness swirled up near her as she stared. Ohh go-
As the first of the wings appear she just started shooting, never noticing the formless darkness creeping up behind her and lashing out at the figure as he solidified, an archangel..silver eyes wide with pain as he tried to avoid the formless darkness but instead was pinned down, wings bleeding from three rounds.(Claws)
"Mara ... Why..?"
She stopped staring at him shaking ...staring at the pillar of darkness coming up from behind her, ready to follow it and shoot whoever was behind her too only to catch his eyes..archangel's eyes glowed? Silver....purple...purple hints of yellow. White wings yellow purple...black silver dark blue light blue ...a snow globe, blood, a cat ornament "Ama...?" She raised her free hand to her head, her other hand still aiming but now her hear head hurt...picture pictures were coming back feelings memories but with no order.

Kage didn't want to hurt Ree, at least he hadn't. The car swerved below sending Andy flying from it before it began rolling end over end crashing into a cement barrier. His attention returned to Ree, the Meta who caused this just like had caused the bike to lose control. The hold on his Aura released as Kage became enraged, Ree was trying to kill them. It didn't seem to matter that his sister was in the car, he was merely a pet of the facility acting to keep anyone else from escaping. He had only intended to take the girl in order to secure safety from her family, but if they had been conditioned and programmed like this then there was no hope left for any of them. He suddenly regretted only erasing Mara instead of killing her when he had the chance.
Ree dove towards the car no doubt to finish the job if they had survived and Kage moved to intercept. He picked up speed as he had no intention of stopping gravity and his own downward push allowing him to catch up with the white haired Meta. Distracted or focused on the kill he had been able to move in close before with a final press he was close enough to snap his arms around Ree. His body pressed in pinning the wings between himself and Ree. He clasped his hands attempting to hold on with everything he had as he continued pressing down on them. Without wings he intended to drive Ree headfirst into the ground as it rushed closer and closer.

Andy wished with everything she could remember why Blaise so important to her. Sister. That was just a word to her now. Even so, she didn't want anyone to be hurt, this isn't what she wanted. She watched Kage grab Ree. Was he still trying to hurt them all. Why. Why was this necessary. She suddenly bolted from the ground, running to the wreckage, frantically looking for survivors. "BLAISE!!" she screamed. There was movement, lots of movement. A struggle?! Andy gripped the door, resting her foot to the side to try to pull it off as it was stuck fast.
"GET AWAY FROM US!!" a scream shot forth as the struggle stopped for a moment and a body crashed through the front window.
Zira's body was thrown from the car and skid across the ground, she shakily came to a stand, her face not changing as she grabbed at where her left arm was. Blood trickled down her side and wires exposed themselves from her shoulder. "Give her back.." she spoke calmly, monotone, robotic.
A fist broke through the back window as it shattered. "Take her. Run. Don't stop. Take this paper and go there. Try to save her if it's not too late. Just don't look back, JUST. GO!" Blaise instructed, helping the unconscious and heavily injured, bleeding girl from the backseat of the flipped car through the window. "GO!!"
As soon as the girl was clear into Andy's arms, Blaise moved out of from the front window where she had thrown Zira out. She had scratches and lacerations all over her body, looking like she not only took the brunt of the damage from car crash, but had been attacked by Zira as well. She looked like she could literally collapse at any second she was bleeding out everywhere. "If you even think of coming near us again... I'LL RIP YOUR OTHER DAMN ARM OFF!!!" she screamed, firmly grasping Zira's missing arm in her hand. Blaise looked angry, flames starting in around her. "SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!!" she screamed, throwing down the lifeless arm and taking a step forward in challenge to Zira.
Andy panicked as the lifeless body of the girl was thrust upon her. She was cut up with shards of glass embedded in her skin, her previous wound had reopened and was bleeding out quickly, she wasn't breathing. She didn't have time to think, or to even open the paper, she was already flying before she could react, acting on instincts alone. She moved her wings as fast and as hard as she could. She didn't have the energy to fly all too far as she finally descended into a field just outside the city. She need to assess the girl and look at the note she was given. She dare not think of how she had been forced to leave her boyfriend and her sister behind, trying to focus on the girl for now. She laid the girl down on the ground and checked for a pulse. Nothing. Her heart sank. "Nonononono... Hey, girl. Wake up! W-wake up!!!" she shouted as she trembled. Should she try to heal her? Should she try CPR or chest compressions? Did she even known how to do that?! Andy froze up, she was holding a dead child and the only thing she could manage to do was bring her up to hug her. "Please.. I need you to wake up now..." she cried as she set her hands against her back and held her close and began to heal her from her body own body. Desperate to try anything, hoping anything would help bring her back to life.
Zira stood there, staring at Blaise, then looked to Ree. /"Andy has taken Hexxis. No heartbeat was detected. Shall I pursue her?"/

Melody shrieked as gunshots were fired and shadows suddenly whipped up and created a shield in front of her and Tri to block the rest of the bullets. "Enough!" her voice was different, her eyes flashing red/purple overlayed from her normal red/blue eyes. She stood more poised, more mature. "Friends." Melody stared with determination at Mara."Let him go."
Kae heard gunshots and she shoved against the door hard, sliding in. "Mara! What are you doing?!" she exclaimed, as she quickly moved to stand in front of Melody and Tri. She lowered her voice in a calm manner. "...Mara... " she motioned her hands outward to signal her to stop, keeping an slow position of moving forward, motioning her hands downward to get her to lower the gun. "...easy..... easy now... tell me what's going through your mind right now..." she was speaking slowly and as calmly as possible. Something definitely wasn't right, and with Kylar being involved, she was already beginning to jump to conclusions. She hoped it was just a misunderstanding, but part of her didn't feel that was the case. If only Zira were still here to help figure out what was going on with Mara.

Ree gasp struggling in mid-dive as he felt arms close around him,pinning his arms to his side and holding the body behind him against his wings. "Huh?!" He struggled, a feeling of dread coupled with the closing ground made him panic, struggle try to get rid of who...Kage. Kage ...memories of the Shadows looking at the computer as he.....
Ree phased, flaring his wings to slow his descent as Kylar passed him. He solidified seconds later out of reach trying to both get closer to the ground and avoid the other shadow. (Racial ability: Phase )
"Are you trying to kill yourself?!! " he shouted after him why the heck did he try to do that? Kage nearly killed himself trying to take him down with him while the car was turned over...Andy was on the ground... wasn't he even going to see if she was okay?!. Pulling away he angled his slower dive further away from Kage keeping him in sight as he risk a glance toward the car.
"SHE'S DEAD BECUASE IF YOU!!"
Blaise, Andy's sister screaming as she threw down ...an ARM? Whose arm?! Zira? Zira's.. Why was it sparking? There was Zira then who...
Looking up he spotted Andy flying away with something in her arms.
Hexxis...oh go-...
//Andy has taken Hexxis. No heartbeat was detected. Shall I pursue her?//
Ree stared after Andy and Hexxis .......looked back to Zira and Blaise, his eyes wide in shock. //...N-no....retreat // he said shakily uses telekinisis to pull Zira's arm to him....lifting it to slap Blaise with it before trying to pull it back to him. It was not a joke but just to distract her because he didn't know if Zira would have enough time to escape. Was there a chance to revive? But if he left ?..Zira needed help...
Hexxis ..... This...this wasn't supposed to happen.

Mara kept one hand against her head as she whipped the gun around to Melody staring at her as she backed away. Freaky colored eyes ..the change in voice. Let go? Let go of what?! "Stay away from me..." she backed up some more, moving toward the window until -another- one came in.
"Get away ...I don't know who the heck are you but just stay away from me ..." Her voice showing a hint of steel but her eyes reflected her fear of them. She glanced toward the archangel on the floor and the pressure on him was lessen but another shapeless shadow headed to Kae to do just the same. (Second hand of Claw). Balcony, maybe a way to get down .....get away from the shadows...the girl....all of them!. Turning she shot toward the dark corners behind her...trying to shoot who ever was making those shadows but saw no one this time before turning around, eyes-wide looking for a place to run.

Kage slammed face first into the ground, the rest of his body following as he lay there motionless. He hadn't slowed at all, but there was noise as he landed. The dirt on the road hadn't been displaced, there was no sign he was even where he was aside from being seen on the ground. He stood up slowly his voice calling out in anger, "Damnit, Ree. You were supposed to go splat."
"SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!"
Kage looked over at Andy suddenly worried rather than angry. Relief washed over him as he saw Andy move, but the child was limp in her arms. He shifted his gaze to Ree and all he could feel was disgust, which was clearly visible on his face. "Ohh my god, Mara has you trained so well that when she says fetch you do it without thinking. How could you do it? Was catching us so important that you would kill your own sister." He stared at the white haired Meta coldly as he spoke.

Andy shook the girl lightly, still not soliciting a response. Panicking, she looked at the note and took flight again, keeping her close to her body. She went to the place that Blaise had instructed her to go, a set of houses in what seemed like a village outside of the city. She found the specific house and knocked lightly. She was scared of what she would see within. The door opened slowly and she was face to face with a set of pink eyes behind a mess of purple hair. "Andy?!" the voice spoke with pain and relief at the same time. "Please,.. Help her. She's not breathing.." she plead suddenly, tears breaking through to flood her face. "....please.." Lucian nodded at her with a frown and slowly waved her inside.

/As you command/ she then began to melt back into the shadows below here without another word. She retreated as far enough as she feasibly could without losing sight of Ree.
Blaise dodged the arm as it flew past her, her angry glare shifting to Ree now. She listened to their converation, the mention that the girl was Ree's sister. She glared at him hard as the flames whipped up around her. "You are outnumbered and outmatched. Leave us alone!!" she exclaimed as she removed the flames from her hand and took it into Kage's hands. "Come on, Kylar... Lets go." her sight never breaking from Ree as she spoke with fury in her voice. Tugging Kage, she began to take flight. Hoping he'd follow, and more so that Ree would not.

Kae took the full being of the claw attacking her, not having any way to combat against it anyway. Her form fell away as her eyes faded into red and her ears began to show. It was becoming apparently clear what happened. This was the worst time for this to happen, but Kae was beginning to think this was Kylar's first stop in his rampage of chaos throughout the compounds. "..hey hey hey... Shhh... Just calm down. You seem to have forgotten some things... Like your son" she motioned to Tri. "And I am a really good friend of yours... Kael'thena... But you usually just call me Kae... This is your room.. And you are surrounded by people who care about you..." she continued to try to sound soothing, hands still out to ease the situation. "Please... Lets just talk...."
Melody had almost moved to block the attack but then Kae placed a hand on her shoulder and took the attack any way. It puzzled Melody enough that her eyes returned to normal and she looked worries my to Tri. She stepped to him quickly, kneeling down as she began to heal his bullet wounds. "Y-you're hurting him.... Let him go..." tears began to fill her eyes as she looked at Mara, still healing Tri.

Ree jerked his gaze away from Andy to Kage, hearing his words that made what happened just a little more real. He wasn't even sure how Kage survived that fall and his mind nudge at him that it was important and that he had tried to kill him, but it couldn't' take the place of what just happen. He needed to move, keep away from them and follow Andy or Zira..
Yet after hearing the rest of the accusation he opening his mouth to deny it all and stopped. "Taking her was a mistake Kage....she was still as badly injured ..because you stabbed her. You knew she was hurt, so why was she here? " his voice growing cold, Hexxis was dead because of him but right now he wouldn't have minded if any of the other three had joined her. He turned his attention to Blaise as he kept Kage in his line of sight too. He tighten his grip on Zira's arm as he watched them leave..watched the blood running along Blaise drip to the ground as she took flight...his eyes narrowing.
They didn't matter.... SIU shouldn't have tried to recruit from their enemies... and he should have remembered ...should have thought what might happen when giving that order..he only thought of stopping the car any way possible and that....that was the result. His wings shivered and drooped to the ground as he finally turned away...looking back toward the base, back to Mara and ...Tri. He didn't wan't to go back... was afraid what would happen ..of their reaction even if he did not mean it...she was still gone. At the same time .he still had Zira's arm. With a shaken breath he sight teleported back.

"Son?!" She turned to look alarmed at the archangel that wa still somehow pinned, he had his eyes closed breathing heavily. "But...." Big but.... That can't be her son..she was human! Adopted...flashes of terrified silver eyes looking up at her from under a trap...snow globe held tightly as everyone was afraid including her. Another image of black feathers covering her shoulder as he cuddled against her at night as a small child. Pale blue cat like eyes hiding under her desk with all her pens looking proud. "Tri..." She said quietly, looking at Kae ...slowly lowering her gun as the shadows faded as well. "You know me....why don't I remember? " she said looking at the smaller girl, no name coming to mind for her as she looked at Tri, blood was seeping from a wound on his back and along the wings but the girl looked like she was healing him in the same way she stopped those shadows that were... Now gone. "What..what is going on?" To much just. Much, she wanted to hide her head under a blanket and wait for things to get calm. She focused on Kae, looking utterly lost and scared...wanting to even help the one she called her son... But only
Remembering bits a piece and she had just shot him...

"Don't you dare shift the blame, you knew how injured she was yet you used your power to cause the accident." Kage was clearly upset and even hesitated as Blaise grabbed his hand. "I may have wanted to use her to prevent you from attacking us, but you are the one that killed her." He knew that it wasn't entirely the case, he didn't even know if they even knew he had Hexxis. It was all assumption because the alternative was to difficult to accept, if they hadn't know then it was his fault. He was the monster, the one responsible for making Ree kill his own sister. He hated himself unsure of why he even took Hexxis to begin with, they would have been faster without her to begin with. The blame from himself was enough, he didn't need the blame from anyone else especially Ree, he felt terrible enough so he deflected it all trying to tear down the Meta he had once thought a friend. No, it was impossible they had cameras everywhere he had to know, Ree was the monster not him. He turned away from Ree and took flight with Blaise after he had teleported away.
"Why was she here?"
The last words Ree had said replayed in his head over and over as he slowly came to his own conclusions. "Ohh god..." Kage landed abruptly, he felt like he was going to be sick. Ree asked why she was there, he didn't know she had been there when he disabled the escape vehicle. Whether is was true or not he suddenly vomited as it all became to much. The realization that he had forced his friend to kill his own sister was simply to much. Nausea was the least of his concerns, Andy had seen his mistake and been forced to carry the corpse from the scene. Another violent outburst as he ejected his stomachs contents was followed by tears. This mistake would cost him and it wasn't something he could or even should just wipe from memory. A child dead, a friend lost and possibly even a love lost. Kage collapsed the stress to much as he lost consciousness shutting down.

Blaise seemed confused as Kage landed suddenly. "Kylar! What's wrong?" she placed a hand on his shoulder, and rubbed her hand between his shoulder blades, he didn't look so good. "Are you inj-.." then he collapsed and she blinked then sighed. Her face fell into one of annoyance and boredom as she stared at him. "Well.. that happened.." she spoke unamused. She noted his actions before collapsing, she recognized it in the rookies they took in on occassion who couldn't handle when things got to chaotic. The same actions Michael displayed when he saw a dead body. Innocence. Morality, and the reaction to realizing you had actually been responsible for someone's death. She wondered if she had ever acted that way the first time she took a life. That was so long ago, so far of a distant memory it might as well be non-existent. She sighed picking him up into her arm effortlessly and strained to take wing, supporting both their weight under the stress of the physical damage to her body. She'd honestly have to consider releasing her form to heal or not. It was possible she could heal enough to not have to, but if she took even one more hit, she'd probably die. She was just so weak from everything that happened.
As they approached the hideout, she backwinged a little, hovering in the the sky as she noticed an orange flag stuck to the corner of the house she was aiming for. Exhaling hard in exhaustion, she adjusted Kage in her arms again. "Well, I guess they moved... but at least they have Andy now." she muttered to herself and then changed direction and flew off to the next hideout as the flag subtly instructed.

"That's right... he's your adopted son, Trisuri Luz.." she explained slowly, taking a slow step forward, her hands still up cautiously. Why don't I remember? She twinged in irritation for just a brief moment. "My best bet is that stupid shadow kid came in here and wiped your memories in his quest to be the rebellious little s**t he is." Kae didn't hold back her scorn as she let her words fly, it seemed like Kae was actually getting emotional over this. "It's hard to say what's going on anymore..." she answered then looked back to Tri for a moment before placing a hand to the hidden comm on her ear. "Ree, please tell me you have him. He mindwiped Mara and she's..." she slid her vision to Mara. "... fine... but she's really confused." she reported to him. She withheld the information that she had shot Tri, the less panic that spread between the three of them the better. She directed her attention to Mara, "It's going to be okay.. we will help you get your memories back.. " 'If that's even possible....' She hoped by apprehending Kage, they could merely get him to restore her memories. Else they would have to result in different measures of retrieval and they simply didn't have the time for all that.

Kage's voice echoed in his mind as he continued to stand where he appeared, looking back to the car in the far distance while Blaise and Kage faded from his sight. The rumbling of cars reached hm and passed barely slowing down as the humans inside headed toward the crash and probably after the two meta who had taken wing. They would find nothing....not even a body ...they couldn't have even left the body for him to try and heal ...or fail.

He felt sick to his stomach, one wrong call and everything went wrong. He had been there to protect her, save her and he killed her...indirectly but it was still his call.she may have been his sister for only a few weeks, one he had barely any contact with ...and truthful almost no ties with either but Tri cared ..and she didn't deserve that ..even if he thought about the times her malice had nearly killed Tri... she still hadn't deserved to die by his mistake.
He wondered if the same thought had passed through Zira's mind, if she was as shock as he was or worse? He was...supposed to be doing something....
Wings completely lowered and pooled around him, he kept staring outwards. It all felt very distant as he slide his free down across his face, wiping the trail of tears, he didn't remember when he started crying but now he could barely stop.
Ree, please tell me you have him. He mindwiped Mara and she's... fine... but she's really confused."
Wiping his face again he waited a few seconds while fear, guilt and confusion warring with one another. He pushed it down, tried to push it down ....barely pushed it down whe he tapped the Comm to answer.
"Hexxis is dead" his voice sounded slightly hitch but otherwise free of any emotion. There was a slight pause, he had not meant to say that to her ..not now not until he ....he never wanted to tell them in their faces that was what he was thinking. "Kage? I ....lost sight of them but if you can track H..Hexxis's .." There was a pause as everything threaten to burst out again...but Mara confused? Same like Andy, same as if she was dead if they didn't find him...she wouldn't remember them at all " her collar. GPS?. Took her body " he shorten his words trying to focus on keeping his voice even like Tris. "Zira...needs her arm?" he lifted the arm that was still sparking slightly with blood that had dripped on to him with a blank look ...not in the best of mindsets at the moment. He dropped it and fell to his knees covering his head and body under his wings, muting the comm from his end again as he shuddered trying not to cry.

Mara calmed down slowly, adopted...yes that sounds right. She wanted to move to him but as the elf? ...spoke she relaxed more as if the more honest look of anger and frustration was what made up her mind to lower the gun than anything else. "Shadow kid...what did he do this then?" Se reached up to touch her head, looking at Kae now as if she had the answers but it seemed she had more of an idea of what was happening than she did. Glancing away she looked down at the archangel in the floor and crouch down guilty. "I'm sorry...you were just uh..scary ....very scary " she said hesitantly as Tri opened his eyes.
"Still scary?" He said quietly, pulling his aura in tightly and sighing when she just nodded. "I thought you were in danger...thank you Melody " he said quietly, making no movement to get up at the moment, especially not while she still had a gun in her hand. He glanced to Kae....hoping she had an idea....but Mara remembered him..that was more than he could say for Andy.
