"Please!" Pax bounced a little on their hooves, which was exceedingly weird to see, on account of it seemed to involve a lot more joint motion than a human doing the same thing. "May I... carry the rosy one? It has been... a long time... and we have to... catch... up..."

"Of course! You're old friends, right? I'm not gonna get in the way of a reunion!"
Rosalinde prrrruped and chirped contentedly, pleased to be reunited with her friend. Her contented noises told a story of a new home, and a new world, and how she too was pleased with this Kindly One. The other Humans called her Autumn, but... the title The Peaceful One had given was far more fitting.
"So, besides Heliodora... have you met other humans? Not ancient, thousand year old ones, I mean. Just kinda... normal people," Autumn questioned, turning to head back to the entrance to regular Ashdown.

"I have met," here Pax paused, as though tabulating the numbers, "...you, Kindly One." And those others who had come to Heliodora's grove, of course. It shrugged its cardigan up higher, over its shoulders, and listened attentively to Rosalinde's story. "The rosy one loves you," it said. "Hear her. She purrs."

"I think she loves me cause I feed her," Autumn snorted with laughter, but was nonetheless pleased by the compliment. She didn't speak cat or anything, but she really had hoped she was taking good care of Rosalinde. And apparently, she was!
"Did you know she can plant flowers on things when she purrs? Like, not just herself. A lot of my apartment is basically a garden now," She explained, bemused by the fact she'd probably have more crafts to make. And more flowers to deliver. Sometimes, she suspected Rosalinde was happy and purring for the sole sake of making Autumn work harder.
"I really hope you like our world. And that you come to visit me more. I have just... so many things I wanna show you, and people for you to meet." Autumn paused, and beamed.
"Not that they're as cool as me, or anything."

The Kindly One wasn't cool, she was warm, but Pax didn't see the point in contradicting her. Since Autumn was the expert in human world things, it would probably be best if Pax followed her lead! "She will bring much. Joy to you, I think." It ruffled the fur between Rosalinde's ears, very gently. "I would like to meet. Many humans."

"She already makes me happy. It's a lot less lonely in my apartment, having her and her baby around." Autumn stopped, and turned back to Pax. "You uh. You know she's a mom, right? Did you tell her that, baby?"
Rosalinde prrrrrp'd, fluffing up proudly as she related in cat-speak to Pax about her three beautiful children. All with good homes, the lot of them! The oldest boy- The Kindly One Called him Bergamot, another flower. Another good name.
"I don't know a lot of people. I'm actually kind of new to this town- do you guys have months here? But... I guess you could say I'm a baby in Ashdown. I can introduce you into everyone I know, though!"

Pax listened attentively, its communication with the cat evident in the twitches of its soft ears and the quick, cyclical blinks of its sextet of eyes. "The moons. They cycle. This is what humans call. Months." It nodded, dipping its flower-draped antlers down. "I would be. Honored. To meet your friends."

"Yeah! Good, okay. Not sure how I would explain time. It's kind of a weird thing," Autumn sighed, shaking her head.
At the gate to the other world, Autumn turned back to Pax excitedly.
"Well, here we are. And I'm ready when you are," She said, looking back to the other side.
And with Pax in tow, she headed back to the real world.
