He let Tourmaline guide them, because he didn't know what kind of pace to set. It wasn't often that he did this sort of thing and worry about how receptive she would be kept him from pushing too far too soon. He could hear the rapid pulse of his heart beat in his ears when she gripped his coat firmly and pulled him into the kiss.
If he had the chance, he'd sigh in relief but Tourmaline was kissing him back, soft and teasing and he couldn't keep from smiling into it. It was as fleeting as he expected, with her drawing away and him swallowing in an attempt to keep the feeling of giddiness from flooding him.
He opened his eyes just a fraction before her lips were pushing against his again and the hand on her cheek slipped to the nape of her neck, gently pressing to allow him to deepen their second kiss. His other hand found her hip to hold her more securely even as he stepped forward, keeping her trapped against the wall his mouth parting slightly before he pulled away.
"If you want me to stop at any point, just tell me." Verbally or non-verbally, it didn't matter, he was going to respect her.

A soft, pleasantly startled sound had lost itself against his lips when her back hit the wall. It made it that much easier to return the kiss-- To want that much more out of it. Tourmaline touched her nose to his as he drew back. Her fingers relaxed their grip on his coat, giving her the opportunity to run her hands over his chest under the guise of smoothing fabric back out. Every inch of her in contact with a part of him felt like it might burst into flames at any moment. She couldn't say that she would have a care in the world should it actually happen. He spoke and it took her a moment to register the words. She smiled a dopey little grin before laughing as she tipped her head back against the wall. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale... She laughed again, unable to keep the smile from her lips. Prissy wouldn't believe this if she told her. "You're good. It was good. The kiss... Wow, Wonderboy..." she murmured, hands sliding slowly back along his chest before she gently nudged him back, shaking her head slowly. "We should do that again sometime."

He smiled crookedly at her as she laughed, his thumb rubbing soft circles into her hipbone while he waited for her to calm. It was hard to keep from looking at her adoringly as she spoke and harder to keep the slight disappointment from flicking across his face when she nudged him back.
"I'd been planning to wait until after real-date number one but - " he shrugged, looking a little too pleased with himself. "You're a bit hard to resist." At least as far as keeping from being caught up in the infectiousness that was Tourmaline.
When she told him that they should do it again sometime, Aluminite couldn't help but duck forward and sneak a quick kiss before slipping away, both hands leaving her frame when he took two steps back.
"I'd like that, but I'd also like to properly take you out first." Not that he minded the not-dates, but if he was going to continue to kiss her, he at least wanted to treat her first. "But - we should - I should take you home."

"Tell me when and wear and I'll be there... I'll even wear something nice." If he hadn't stepped away from her she might have kissed him again, so it was likely for the best that he had. Instead she simply grinned, looking very much like a cat that had fallen face first into a dish of cream. "Hold on a minute... Did you just say you'd been planning on doing that? You've been thinking about kissing me, Wonderboy?" Still grinning, Tourmaline pushed away from the wall, giving him a playful nudge as she moved to slip out of the alley. "If you take me home then who's going to take you home?"

"Anything you wear looks nice," he said quietly, reaching for one of her hands to lace with his, tugging her toward him gently as he raised their joined hand and placed a soft kiss to the back of hers. "I'll have to plan something nice then, I wouldn't want to disappoint you and take you on a crappy first date."
Of course he presently had no idea what to do for it but that was what the internet was for. He'd get creative.
"Well," he looked at the ground, sheepish smile on his face before peeking up at her. "I might've wanted to kiss you since the rooftop but I figured that you wanted to wait." Usually he was so much better at waiting but Tourmaline - she was too teasing and very inticing.
"I'm a big boy, I'll get home just fine. Besides, I'd rather make sure you got home okay. Unless this is your way of trying to get me to stay the night." His head tilted as though he was contemplating it. "But if that were the case, I'd have to politely decline. I might be keen on kissing you but - I'd like to wait on everything else."

Not usually one to do much blushing, Tourmaline wasn't quite sure how to react to the fact that her cheeks had gone pink. Not the same shade of pink as her lips or hair, but the rose color lit her face, creeping up over her cheeks until even the tips of her ears were pink. "I-- That's not what I was trying to do. I didn't..." She brought the hand that he wasn't holding up to rub at her face, making a frustrated sound at just how flustered she was. It totally wasn't fair that she had been doing so well at being the smooth one and now... "You wouldn't want to stay at my place anyways. I'd make you stay on the couch." And she didn't have a couch, so that would be difficult. "You did that on purpose, didn't you? That's not a nice way to regain the advantage, Wonderboy," she huffed, giving him a playful nudge as she tried to pull herself back together. "Sure you're not going to want a ride home?"

He found that he quite liked the way she looked when she blushed and it showed in the endearing way he looked at her in the dim street-lighting. "Come on Kit, you know I'm teasing." He didn't think that she was that type of girl and, well, if she had been he wouldn't have judged.
But in general, he was a man who preferred to take things slower.
"Of course, it's only proper that I'd do so." Though it made him think of the last time he'd tried to sleep on a couch and how that hadn't been at all how the night went.
"I promise, it shattered that gentlemanly illusion I'm busy crafting for you. It's too soon for that, I've still got to woo you and win your heart." There was a pause where he looked thoughtful. "And pray that I don't have to slay a dragon for you. I may not survive another go around." His back still smarted.

"You don't have to do any of that, Wonderboy. You just-- just be yourself, alright?" Her brows lofted as she tilted her head to look up to him, hoping that he understood how simply honest she was being. She didn't want someone to woo her or try to win her over. If he had to put effort into it then what would happen if he just decided to stop trying one day? If anything was going to happen she wanted it to be nice and easy; no effort, just fun and breathless... "No dragons. You might have to spend some time with both P-- Sailor Dia and I sometime, but... She's really not so bad when you get past all of the ribbons and lace." Tourmaline gave his hand a light tug, leading him out of the alley. "You can walk me back to my bike. I can find my way home from there."

"I am forever a gentleman Kit," Aluminte said more softly. The man was romantic at heart and he blamed all of those silly romances he'd read over the years. All the great stories started as love stories after all.
"I don't mind," and really he had no ill-thoughts or wishes towards Dia in either form. Tourmaline liked the girl and obviously cared a great deal for her, it was part of what attracted him to her in the first place. "She's your best friend, if I'm getting you then I get her too and that's fine."
They were a mostly packaged deal and he could handle that. Probably.
"If I get to spend any time with you at all then I happy." For now, Aluminte was fine with sharing. "Though I reserve the right to ask her to look away when I want to kiss you."

"Sap," she laughed, shaking her head slowly. Her face was still flushed, although some of the bright color had faded away. Overall she was just happy; light and fluffy in the way a good movie made you feel walking out of the theater. The walk back to her motorcycle was too short. Their energy gathering had been through a rather small radius and the chase had brought them back around to where they had started. "I know you're pretty busy with school and all, but... Lemme know when you want to do this again."

He wanted to ask her to take the long way back to her bike, because he wanted to stretch what time they had together further. Tourmaline reminded him what it was like to be happy in someone else's company in a way that he hadn't experience in months.
He felt light, free - in a way he hadn't felt since Labyrinthite's attention had turned to him and Domeykite.
"I don't mind making time for you," he assured her gathering up her smaller hands in his large ones so he could tug her towards him. He let go of her hands so that he could wrap his arms around her back and pull her into a hug while he dipped his head to brush his lips against her cheek.
"I'll always make time for you," he promised letting go and stepping back. "I'll text you soon, I promise." Hesitating he stepped forward again and stole a quick, but sweet, kiss.
"Good night Tourmaline. Get home safe."
