Aria found herself left in a position where she couldn't pull out some combination to counter and use this move to her advantage. Well, who needs a combination when you can throw two separate moves out to fight it? "Arm Thrust! Break down those rocks!" She commanded, watching as the Pangoro let out another booming bellow before bursting into a flurry of palm strikes. The bone would slip past the wave of strikes and slam into Sogetsu alongside a few of the rocks, but the others would be reduced to powder as the palms slammed into them and destroyed them with ease. Continuing to fall towards the ground near the Marowak, Sogetsu would simply let himself fall towards the Marowak and try to crush it in a Body Slam. It wouldn't be graceful or showy, but it would be an effective demonstration.

Odd recalled Beat as it was announced that he had won the round. The poor Bone Keeper looked as utterly beat as his name implied. Rather than calling on Adagio, which would normally be his go-to Pokemon for this guy of battle, he decided to give Chorale her debut. "Chorale! Show them the Snow Queen's power." He called as he released the Froslass from her Ball.

It burst open in a flurry of snowflakes, the Ghost-type's first breath on the field freezing the water vapor in the air into tiny little icy glimmers in the air. If Ryan wanted to play up the showmanship with appearances, his partner here could do that just as well.

"King's Bishop takes Queen's knight." Odd called out, his voice barely ringing over Lapras' song. Chorale knew the attack combination. Throwing her arms out to her sides, she conjured large shards of ice. The song was beginning to affect her mind now, however and Lapras slowly became a blur in the mist. "Fross......" She groaned as she loosed the Ice Shards into the air, blowing out a breath of air below zero to assist them in their flight. The shards spiraled around one another along the way, their very nature allowing them to track down their intended prey. In the meantime, Chorale tried her hardest to fight off the sleep.

Odd groaned when Ryan called out his attack. Chorale had fallen asleep within seconds of releasing her last attack and was unable to escape the incoming Hydro Pump. The powerful torrent of water acted as a great wake up call for the Ghost-type, though, snapping her out of her slumber, sputtering and cursing everything in sight for a moment before she recalled where she was. "Oh hell..." The channeler once again as the Confuse Ray caught up to it's companion attack.

What was that? Hail? Coming right up! Chorale heard what she thought was an attack command and spun around, throwing her hands skyward, sending the glimmering diamond dust around her soaring. Within moments, a storm began brewing within the contest Hall and hail began to fall, bringing a light snow flurry with it. Aysu would see Chorale's body twist and warp at the Snow's first contact before she simply vanished from sight, Snow Cloak activating and allowing her to slip away unseen.

For a moment, Odd cursed his incorrigible luck, knowing Chorale had just wasted an attack in her confusion. Or had she? "King's Pawn takes Queen's Bishop." He called out. Unseen in the hailstorm, Chorale nodded. A moment later, Aysu would find herself surrounded by an army of Chorales via Double Team, each wielding a Shadow Ball. Chorale hurled the ball, each of her duplicates mimicking her in tandem, the many Shadow Balls turning the hail and snow black as they blurred towards their target.

"Don't let it touch you, Chorale." Odd called to his partner. "Ominous Wind!" The Froslass responded by throwing her hands out in front of her and conjuring a black twister between herself and the Lapras across from her. It wouldn't stop the entire attack, no, but it managed to protect her from the brunt of it.

Aria would step up to the stage, giving a sharp whistle to get her Pokemon's attention from the rafters. "Now then. Time for something a little unconventional. I shall be the main opponent here. And here is my weapon." Aria would command, her guitar holstered in front of her in preparation for Ryan's last Pokemon. Up in the darkness of the ceiling, a small chirp would sound as Vibrato waited for what was to come next.

Aria would stare at Ryan as he stepped forward, watching as he opened up his Channeling implement. She would raise her hand before glancing over to Lisia. "Yeah, since I have none of that, I call default to me if you use any of your Channeler powers. Sound good? Good." Aria told the announcer, nodding in confirmation of her own point without even hearing any response. Giving herself a moment, she would quickly begin to play her guitar, the noise from the instrument slowly building up a wind behind her that began to blow towards Ryan and his Swampert. Wait, was that pure music doing this? Partly, but it was moreso the Tailwind being whipped up by Vibrato that he was building up alongside Aria's playing.
