"What?" Dia had gone from defending her to attacking her in mere seconds. Sure, she had stepped on the senshi's hair, but there was so much of it she couldn't possibly blamed for that, right? Right?

Wrong.

"That wasn't-- I didn't..." There was no sense in trying to defend herself. Dia was already seeing red-- Or maybe it was magenta, because that seemed to be what the other young woman was focusing on when she grabbed her hair and...

"Did you really just?? What the hell, Dia." Lieutenant Tourmaline struggled against the Senshi of Candy's grasp before letting out a shriek of her own upon realizing that Dia's hand was now stuck in her hair, candy and all. It was now her turn to see things in vibrantly angry shades of pink and red as she reached out to grab a strand of Dia's hair and tug back.

"It feels like this! This is exactly how it feels! Only my hand isn't covered in candy. Oh my god, when this wears off I'm going to---." Her eyes narrowed as she gave Dia a shove, completely oblivious to the fact that their target was trying to get away.

They were still quarreling. Thrymr was halfway down the block now, staring at them, with his hands still raised in a gesture of nonaggression - but neither the lieutenant, nor the senshi, were paying him the slightest attention. In fact, they seemed to be more at odds over themselves than they were him.

It was maybe a cowardly move. Maybe. But, then again, Thrymr was not exactly in a position to be fighting, and even less so with his arm still stupidly trapped in the goo from the senshi's attack. He could feel it starting to ebb away, but his limb felt cramped and awkward.

He took another step back, into the shadows of a nearby alleyway that opened up on the other side to a new street parallel to the one they were on. Thrymr shifted back into the shadows, and a second later had powered down and was making his way down the other street, hands tucked into the pockets of his coat, carefully but quickly scurrying away.

Desperate times called for desperate measures, after all.

It would be at least another minute more before Dia made an effort to detangle her hand from the black and magenta hair - giving one final yank on her companion's scalp for good measure.

"No, I want to go home and take a shower to wash all of this failure and street grime from off of me." She scowled as she made a show of rubbing off the sidewalk dust and dirt, knocking off a wayward receipt that had clearly been tossed carelessly aside.

Letting out another huff, she finally glanced over towards the Lieutenant, her frown softening slightly. "....and then maybe we can get something to drink. And ice cream."

With that, the girls struggled to their feet and hobbled (at least on Dia's account) down the sidewalk, towards the prissy girl's house for recuperation and much needed refreshments.
