"Right now?" Jacinthus tilted hs head back to look up at the sky, judging the time, before he said, "Given the time of day I would guess he's with his students. He's been taking on a lot of them, helping them with their magic. It's quite inspiring." And half the reason why Jacinthus had actually started to train hunters himself. His mate seemed to have a good idea as far as preparing others for the future went, to make sure that Yera was kept strong. He could only hope that those they were training were as dedicated as Takoda and Jacin themselves were. Giving a slow nod of his head Jacin said, "Yes, that could be why he is such a fan of them. If it's something that will help him help others, it makes sense that he wants to learn more about them." A thought that made him smile a bit before he shook off the fuzzy feelings that tended to wrap around him when he thought about his mate, wanting to focus. He didn't want ther merchant to run circles around him just because he was thinking too much about Takoda and how adorable he was. "How far is far? Well, we've been as far as Zena, though that was quite some time ago... and Jauhar wouldn't exactly count as Takoda is from Jahaur." He said then quickly added, "He's a Shifter you see." The most adorable one in existence... a thought that he kept to himself, not wanting Takoda to get anymore fans then he already had.

“He takes students,” Jak said, surprised and momentarily encouraged. A teacher was surely amongst the easiest to approach with questions, after all. “Does he charge for his lessons or welcome guests with…the occasional question?”
As the other spoke, he unfurled the satchel, inside of which were a number of small, carefully stored and marked ingredients—a collection of various herbs including petals, roots, leaves, stalks, and dried nuts and berries depending on which part of a given plant it was that marketed well for sale. He paused, though, at the other man’s latter statement. A shifter. Jakkoa’s gaze flicked up in spite of himself, startled and—admittedly—mildly taken aback. He smoothed over the look with a practiced smile a moment later, though, not wanting to discourage the company.
“Well,” he said. “We do have a healthy selection from Zena and Sauti, being as that is where we primarily trade. We also, of course, have herbs from about Tale, and a small selection bartered for from Jauhar’s jungle. As I’ve said, we haven’t made it so far as Yael, and I know Oban products have…questionable origins, but we do have a desert root specifically for encouraging the thickening of weak blood or to slow loss of such from a wound…and moonroot, from Zena’s eastern edge is fairly newly discovered to aid those suffering sleep disorders if cooked into a tea.”

Jacinthus thought about it for a moment before giving a half shrug, "I don't think so... well, about the charging part I mean. As for you asking questions, I am sure he would answer them if he can and help you out." He said with a smile. He was sure if Jakkoa had a question about magic he was sure that Takoda would answer it. He took on other students, what was one more? Especially a guest student? As the blond before him unfurled a satchel, revealing all manner of herbs he found himself starring for a moment, before he blinked a couple times. He had... no idea what any of them were used for. Sure, he knew that some of them were delicious, but other then that... well, he'd have to ask Takoda after buying such things for him. At the mention of having a 'healthy selection' from Zena and Sauti he gave a nod of his head, "Herbs from those two places could be useful since they aren't something that Takoda can just go out and pick for himself." "Desert root and moonroot?" He mused, thinking on it for a moment, then gave a nod of his head, "Those both sound as though they would be useful. I will definitely take some of that, as well as a vartiety of other Sautian and Zenan herbs." He gave another thoughtful sound before he said, "As much as you can spare, but not all of it. I don't want to take from other healers that could use the herbs as well just to benefit Yera." He wasn't so selfish as all of that.

“I’d…” Jak hesitated a moment, given pause by the new knowledge of this healer’s race. In the end, however, he supposed it didn’t matter. Shifters were not Obans, and despite his lack of familiarity with them, they were less out of place this far west, surely. Thus, at length, he smiled. “I’d like to pay him a visit then, perhaps. I have some questions…”
After the man made his broad selections, Jakkoa’s mood brightened further, almost amused by the man’s genuine openness and all-around ease to sell to. But, that made his work simple, and far be it from him to complain. So, he took samples from each of what the man had asked for, sectioning them off and then setting them out for him before telling him the final price count.
“It’s been a pleasure doing business with you. Your husband will certainly have a selection to work through.”

Jacinthus gave a smile and a nod, "Alright, I will let him know you're coming." He said, giving him directions to where he and Takoda lived from where they were standing presently. It wouldn't be very nice of him if he allowed the merchant to get lost while he was looking for Takoda after all. Digging into his coin pouch again he got out the amount that was needed for the large purchase that he'd made, handing it over to Jakkoa before he tucked all of the herbs away into his pack very carefully. He didn't want them to get all mixed up, feeling that Takoda would want to do that sort of thing himself. Giving a smile once everything was packed up he said, "You have my thanks. I hope that the herbs are those that will be useful to him." He would buy every last herb in the marketplace if he thought that it would make his mate happy. "I will likely return in the future if your group visits Yera again." He said, giving a smile and a nod before he turned to go find Takoda and Korra. He wanted to see about giving them their gifts, as well as letting Takoda know that he might be having a visitor in the form of Jakkoa.
