Labyrinthite was, admittedly, impressed by the quickness of Aue's response and the fact that he'd clearly tested it. "Third usage only in extreme circumstances," he verbally noted, watching as the senshi offered Wolfeite his sash. It was not a move that he himself would do but the general liked the idea that the senshi was, at least, willing to assist a comrade.

If that was what their relationship was.

Labyrinthite didn't know and didn't care to ask, he assumed that there was some level of respect between the two for Wolfeite to bring Aue to him and for Aue to willingly follow Wolfeite.

"That's of no matter, while they're dusted they are not dead." A casual offering of information. "I cannot, unless you are in my proximity, guarantee your safety from the youma while you work under us." A slight glance to Wolfeite before his attention was solely Aue's again. "But when you are with one of mine, they will not harm you." He could promise that if he felt like he could actually rely on lemons.

"You recognize that association with me, with us could be costly to you." Though, the general was certain that the rewards outweighed the costs. "But, if you wish to bend to me in any capacity I can guarantee it will be worth your while."

For all of his posturing and ruthlessness, Labyrinthite thought himself an ally worth having. He always kept to his word and he always made sure his were cared for.

Aue wondered, watching Wolfeite, if the General had seen the flash of rage in his eyes at being used as a lab rat for Aue's magic. Probably did, he's an observant one...but if he didn't, I'm not saying s**t. Mostly because he did not want to set off whatever tenuous relationship the two had, but also because he preferred to stay out of unnecessary conflict.

Hearing that dusted monsters weren't actually dead was something new, and he raised a brow but didn't ask for further explanation. They had a shaky thing going right now and the brunet wasn't going to stress it; as far as he was concerned, this was a good start to a working relationship and he wanted to keep it that way. That Labyrinthite was speaking of protection and safety was a good sign, even if it couldn't extend to the monsters (seriously, he would not call them 'youma') unless the man were nearby. It made sense though, he'd noticed that the damned things seemed hungry for senshi.

"I appreciate it. I'd rather not end up as monster food if I can help it."

As to the rest, Aue nodded. He'd thought about this at some length and found the potential risks acceptable. "Yes. I'm sure knowing I worked with you would not go over well in Order circles. I'm prepared to defend myself if need be...but I'm pretty sure it won't come to that." With a snarky looking smile, Aue continued, "As ineffectual as they are, I'm really not worried. It's unlikely that I'll come under one of the royal's attention...not that they could set aside their egos long enough to do anything about me if I did."

Clearly, he'd made a good decision, coming with the Wolf.

Labyrinthite was still questioning Aue, and through the stinging aggravation of his eyes, Wolfeite was listening. He dabbed the cloth at his face, wiping away the acid, and found himself relatively pleased by the senshi's willingness. He'd thought upon their first meeting that Aue would be a good place to start in terms of getting information, and he'd been right.

It was a rather satisfying feeling.

The mention of the youma was not missed, Wolfeite's mind going back to their discussion in the Rift. He felt the hunger surge again, the desire to know more, but tamped down on it pushed it aside, let it sit for now as he had before. There would be time, later, to get what he wanted.

This was only the first step.

And Aue was playing all the right cards, making all the right motions, saying all the right things.

The smirk on Wolfeite's face was hidden, but his dark eyes were fixed on Aue.

Labyrinthite hadn't missed the sharpness and rage in Wolfeite's eye, it was glaringly obvious. The smugness that seemed to radiate from the man with the half mask wasn't missed either, it was a subtle shift in body language but the general had been around enough too-cocky, full of themselves character long enough to see the changes.

If Wolfeite thought he was playing the General, then Labyrinthite would gladly prove him wrong, when the time came but for now? He'd let it be.

Despite his seeming welcome of Aue there was a hint of a threat lying beneath his words. He was not a man who dealt well with betrayals of any capacity and was far better as an ally than an enemy. He considered disclosing that, vital, piece of information to the senshi and by extenion his recruit when he decided that it should be a lesson that Wolfeite learn.

"You will have to be wary of Iris and Castor." Those were the only two royals he had personal interaction with. "The other one is of little importance. She thinks highly of herself," he commented, slight disgust lining his voice as he thought about the debacle in the castle. "but, she commands little respect from my observations."

Castor had been around long enough despite not having a court beneath him the way Iris did.

He looked at Wolfeite with a sharp glance, lips pressed in a thin line. "Bringing him to me was wise, there are others who would have wasted the potential."

Labyrinthite had to admit that he was curious about lemons. Enough that he decided to purse a solo meeting, without the greedy ears of Wolfeite. "We will continue this...later. After I have time to set up a proper setting to test your usefulness." And to gather information that had been mentioned but set aside for later. "When I call, I expect you to come."

His words were directed towards the senshi, but he knew they wouldn't be lost on Wolfeite.

Labyrinthite's apparent volatile nature and expectations of loyalty and obedience were not missed by the yellow clad senshi, though he still felt cautiously hopeful that this meeting was - and had - gone as well as could be expected. Aue knew he would have to prove himself to the General and his peers before anything beyond a wary alliance could be formed; he was ready. Or thought he was.

"Iris and Castor, got it." Wait, Castor sounded..familiar? Wasn't that the name of dickwagger II from the hilltop? But Iris...that couldn't be the white-clad princess he'd seen, no. He'd not caught her name, but from his own observations and the sound of it, that person was the 'other' - the one of little importance. Good way of putting it, her ego might've been bigger than that Castor guy's.

"As you wish, General." Aue wasn't going to argue - it seemed stupidly risky to do so when he was perfectly willing to work under Labyrinthite's terms. That last bit was spoken with tone that spoke plainly 'I expect to be obeyed' and the steely edge to it also told Aue all he needed to know about how severely he'd be punished for not acquiescing. s**t, that means I'll have to be powered up more. Damnit, I didn't want-- too late now, you're committed, you've got to follow through. His gaze slid over to Wolfeite momentarily, noting the cant of his eyes bespoke pleasure at having delivered him into his superior's hands a potentially useful body.

Since he'd already given the whiskey-eyed General an affirmative, Aue kept his mouth mostly shut and nodded; when Labyrinthite called, he would come. As quickly as he could, since he - unlike the Wolf and his Handler - could not teleport. "I'm at your disposal, General."

He turned his head to look at Labyrinthite as he was spoken to, Wolfeite feeling the thrill of satisfaction thick in his veins. It was a heady feeling, a rush of pleasure, and yes, now the pieces were falling into place. Aue was being received well, and the steps that Wolfeite was taking to secure his place within the Negaverse were becoming solid under his feet.

He inclined his head respectfully towards Labyrinthite and said, in a low voice, "I'm glad you think so, general."

It was said quietly, without a trace of mocking to it. Wolfeite was glad that Labyrinthite had thought his decision well, but he did not miss the tone of the general's voice, nor the implications behind his words. The double meaning made his teeth grit together, expression half masked by the cloth, but he made no outward show of rebelling against it.

Not yet, at least.

His gaze went to Aue, almost obsidian in the dark night.

"I'm glad to be working with you," said Wolfeite calmly, and beneath the mask, he smiled; wide and toothy, teeth sharp.

Labyrinthite liked the easy way that Aue conformed to him, even the way Wolfeite agreed, though he could sense some disgruntlement from the new solider. He would have to make sure to keep on eye on the senshi, either by observing him personally or sending someone else to keep tabs.

He had a growing list of people beneath him and he intended on exploiting and utilizing every single one of them fully.

While he was wary of Aue's colors, of the side that he'd been awoken into, he had a good feeling about lemons. Besides, it opened up a slew of possibilities that he could explore. With an informant on the white moon side of things, gathering Intel would be easier.

"Of course," he replied with a wolfish grin. "I'll be in touch soon." How he would deliver his message when the time for calling came was unclear, Labyrinthite hadn't figured it out himself quite yet either but the message was clear.

Be prepared.

He looked at Wolfeite with a leveled gaze, grin slipping so his expression was stoic. "I expect to see you for training shortly."

While he had no idea how Labyrinthite would contact him, there was zero doubt in Aue's mind that the General would find a way of getting in touch - and that he had better be prepared to answer that call with all due speed. For all the 'niceties' that they'd just been through, American McGee's General was not someone he wished to get on the bad side of.

"I look forward to it, General."

It would likely not register in his mind until later, just what it would meant to be prepared for the contact - at which point he'd swear long and loud. For them to reconnect, he'd have to be powered up.

But just then, with Labyrinthite delivering an admonition to the Wolf to appear for training, Aue wasn't thinking about any such thing, he was thinking about going home and slipping out of this ridiculous costume. Maybe getting a beer, maybe not, and relaxing.

"If that is all, I'll be off." Neat, even teeth glinted in the low light as he flashed the pair of officers a toothy grin before turning to walk off; it was something of a sign of trust - that he'd turn his back and leave - but he'd been dismissed. There was no point in staying longer. Labyrinthite would contact him and Aue would be ready. This could be a very good thing for me, or it could be very bad. For better or worse, I cast my lot with these men, there is no point to worry overmuch.

I wonder how far I should go before powering down...will they follow or spy? Unlikely. Beyond the dog park then, should be fine.
