One of the first teachers out was Saiph. She was honestly rather hard to miss as she stood at 6'3" tall not including the antlers that resided on her head. At the moment, were they included in her height, she'd be 7' tall just about. She had sleek, inky black hair and was obviously Japanese in her facial features (eye shape, high cheekbones, very fair skin, thin face and jaw) but instead of dark eyes, she had bright blue eyes. Those could barely be seen though as she was wearing her dark glasses to protect the sensitive orbs from the sun. She also had feathery black wings with barbs on the bend and at the tips of them that she fanned out as she pulled out her cigarettes from a small metal case. They were personal cigarettes--ones that didn't have tobacco but rather a special herb. That was made apparent as purple smoke came from them as she took a drag and exhaled.
To be fair though, as the dance teacher, the dance building was one of the closest if not the closest to the gates. It was hard to miss the mass of students waiting to be let in on the first day of school. Akira and many of the other teachers weren't out yet as it was a bit too early still but Saiph decided to check things out. She couldn't help herself, she was a curious being. Not to mention, there was a car that was OBVIOUSLY mistakenly parked in "the spot". It was a spot in the parking lot that most knew to leave empty as Saiph had deemed that spot years ago to be the spot that made any and every car look rather tasty. She kept glancing over at it... but for the moment she was doing nothing about it....yet. Maybe the person whose car it was would get smart and move it quickly or it would surely be gone by lunch. For now though it was safe....but only because of one factor. Those who knew her knew that if she was smoking in the morning--this early especially-- she'd been up all night. She was a bit tired. She was a notorious work-a-holic.
To distract herself from the blue sedan that was sitting there ever so deliciously she looked back out over the students. She knew some of the faces but like every year, there were many new ones. She had a pair of medium wash skinny jeans on, black flats with silver bubbles drawn on them, and what looked like a tank top on under her Shotoken zip-up hoodie. Not that she could really wear the hood but she sort of like the feeling of it and they had customized it so it had slots for her wings to fit through the soft but fairly stretchy material. Of course, as per usual, she also had a sword (specifically one that looked like a nodachi) at her hip as well. One that caught her eye was a student near Maru--a long time student of hers. There was no mistake it was a boy and he had purple hair and eyes.... obviously new. She could see how nervous he was and if she were to bother to sniff the air she'd likely be able to smell it all the way from here. Of course, a few students called to her and waved and being as friendly as she was, she waved back with a light smile.

"Then we're in this together." Gar nodded. "Good heh,we can somewhat share each others pain then...if you get what im sayin." Gar said with an innocent smile.Meaning they might both encounter inconveniences along the way in fact that was an inevitability. But theyd both be dealing with such things. "We should go and file in soon with the rest of the crowd. Akira will be here soon." Gar adjusted the duffel bag he had on his shoulder as Maru started off. Gar followed her like the lost puppy he was.Conversation still proceeded. "Oh no. Lorna is my inner soul." "What?.....Is that like...a spirit animal or something?" "I can try and explain it if you want me to but Akira would probably do a much better job at it." Gar tilted his head left and right, mulling around weather he should continue on this subject. This whole thing about an inner soul was interesting....but....part of Gar really didnt want to know!Maybe it was just a little to freaky for him?Unfortunatly....from the looks of things...freaky is something hed have to get used to around here. Maru explained that she would show him but she couldnt exactly materialize her that well....at least not yet! Gar gave a hesitant smile "Eh....I'll pass for now." Maru seemed to push through the crowed that had converged.Gar was doing his damnedest to try and keep behind her.Though do to his small frame and short stature he acted more like a pin ball, bouncing off people at random and stumbling around. Still he managed to keep up with the healthy neko~Though once Maru had stopped for a moment Gar noticed someone who emerged.....a teacher maybe....damn she was tall! She was obviously of Asian origin. Her hair was long and black like ink.Wings seemed to compliment her hair color....Not to mention those gnarly antlers of hers.Gar found her rather majestic really.Though he chose a subtle approach in eyeing her,not wanting to draw any sort of attention....but...psh...he failed miserably.A lot of the other students in the crowed were giving him weird looks....He glared at a few here and there as a polite way of saying "The hell you lookin at?" Little did he know that his current attire, his dark purple jacket and clothing, were a rival school's colors.

Akira Kyosuke
All of the new students had arrived as well as the students from the year before and Akira was just watching them build up en masse. She could see Saiph from where she stood and decided it was time to go and play meet and greet. "Another new year, another new adventure." She told herself as she lit a cigarette and shoved her hands in her pockets. The woman then started towards the group with a smile on her face. She couldn't wait to get yet another year started. As the principal of the Shotoken Academy she had a lot on her plate and yet she honestly didn't mind all of that. She was much like her uncle who enjoyed a good hard challenge. As she approached the crowd she gave a small nod to Saiph before scanning them all.
There were new students, old students and even a few of their parents all mingled in with the crowd. "Good morning everyone." She said with a nod of her head. "I am Akira Kyosuke, your principal if you didn't already know." She skimmed the crowd once more taking note of a few of the kids. "And welcome to the Shotoken Academy where we strive for excellence above all else. Whether you're here academically or if you're here to better yourself and your inner soul I'm here to help you." She said with a smile on her face. She took a long drag of her cigarette and then put the sucker out on her hand. "This year I'm expecting the best as I do every year and I know that each and every one of you can provide as such." As she scanned the crowd she noticed a group of students stink-eyeing another of the students. He was in dark purple which generally wasn't the best color to wear around the Shotoken Academy.
"We should also strive to get along with one another...We're all classmates here." She said as she approached Gar specifically. "So...let's not try to judge too quickly." She said as she stood right in front of the boy. Akira smiled down to him and gave a little nod of her head. "Let's do our best. For me, for you, for your classmates, and for the academy itself. I have faith in each and every one of you." She said before gently patting his shoulder. After that Akira started walking back to where she originally stood. "Now...you all have this day to yourself. I would use it to get used to the layout of the area. The school grounds cover over 1,000 square miles...you've got a lot of ground to cover. The main building however is the massive structure you see off in the distance." She said with pride in her voice. "You'll find other things here too as well...A small town being one of the many things."
Akira pointed to the main bulk of the university before giving a small smile. "Today you can get not only your dorm key, your class schedule, your Shotoken cellphone, and your uniform from the cafeteria but you can get a lecture on inner soul from me if you need it." She said as she begun to walk towards the main bulk of the building.
"Saiph...if you could complete the tour that would be lovely. I've got a lot to prepare for this day." She said as she looked over to Saiph. "Show them the dorms, the arena, the sports fields, the space program, and so on and so forth." Akira said before giving a small wave to everyone. She would continue the rest of this in the cafeteria itself as she still had to prepare her lecture on inner soul for those of them who were in need of it.

Soon enough another woman emerged.Gar really liked the shade of her hair, and her eyes reminded him of rubys."Good morning everyone."I am Akira Kyosuke, your principal if you didn't already know."" This was Akira? She wasnt at all what Gar had expected given the little synopsis that Maru had provided to him.She proceeded in her speech about how she expected great things from everyone present! Gar watched as she took a long drag off of her cigarette for a moment. "We should also strive to get along with one another...We're all classmates here." Gar noticed her start approaching him! He couldnt help but take a step back and really hoping he wasnt about to be singled out in front of everyone!Unfortunately Akira stood in front of the teen with a delightful smile and nodded before patting his shoulder. His mouth gaped open a bit and was at a loss of words. Further more given what he had heard about Akira....she was somewhat terrifying!Psh...she could probably squash him like a bug right then in there if the mood struck her....was he supposed to be flattered or embarrassed? Though she meant no harm, just reassurance.Gar could only manage to offer Akira a weak smile before she proceeded back to where she originally stood. He could hear a few of the other students around him, giggle and chuckle. He felt so outta place. Akira then went on to inform that classes would not be in session today allowing both new and previous attending students to familiarize themselves with the school grounds. She also told everyone that they could pick up their dorm keys, class schedule, uniform, and wait...free phone?! That was rather nifty and convenient. There was also a lecture that would be held on inner souls.Though Gar was interested in the subject he wasnt sure if itd be right for him to attend given that he did have one.She then began to walk towards the large main building after stopping to speak with the tall antler lady. "W-well....not the best first impression I couldve given..."

Saiph continued to smoke as more and more of the teachers started to come out of the buildings. Toji, the janitor came out. Illyria the magic teacher and her wife Mokoto came out. Mrs Sayuri, Mitsu, Gardenia and Mrs Fife came out. Mr Hayate, Mr Woods and even Mr Ashol (or as everyone knew him as, Mr a**-hole) came out and even the school's medical practitioner Yoko Yuzaki came out to see the new students. They were all there for the meet and greet and of course, since there were quite a few returning students there were a few odd sounds that came from the group which of course got echoed back by Saiph although she barely showed it. It was, in a way, letting each other know that they were all there as only some of her closest students made such sounds at her. Due to her antlers, there was a running joke among the students. They all liked to see who would inevitably ask if she was part deer or elk or something and so they all made it a point (as did Saiph) to embrace such via sound. Mostly because, she thought the notion of being part deer or elk was rather funny.
Finally, Akira came out and gave her spiel--welcoming everyone to the Shotoken academy where they strive for excellence above all else. That meant academically and in battle prowess and essentially in everything they did including learning about their inner soul. Most everyone here had one--teachers included. Saiph of course was no exception. For outsiders, she essentially called it her 'inner demon' (which was technically true as it was a separate part of her soul who was also a demon like herself) as that was easier for people to grasp but in all reality 'inner soul' was the true name and nature of it. She had a hollow, a being who if projected looked just like her but monochrome and of course instead of blue eyes had red eyes. It knew everything she knew, it served her as her sort of debate partner in her head when she was deciding on what she should do. Unlike most with such an inner soul, she and her hollow got along rather well--it had been there for her when no one else was, been there in her darkest hours, and that was part of the beauty of an inner soul. Even if all hollows were technically evil and dangerous as they generally strived to try and take over the body, Saiph's generally did not...although, should anything start hurting her too much that didn't mean her hollow wouldn't come out in full force and with fully evil intents for whatever was hurting her.
However, Saiph was not a fighting teacher. She may be a damn war machine but it wasn't what she taught here. Her hollow wasn't often seen and many didn't even know what inner soul Saiph had if they were told or realized she had one at all. She'd always answer if asked though but it seemed many just preferred to speculate. The demon watched Akira though--there was a slight deter from her usual speech as she mentioned getting along with one another and trying not to judge too quickly as she approached the boy in purple with purple hair that Saiph had noticed earlier for his purple hair and of course, purple clothes in general. He was wearing enemy school colors but since he was here and rather timid looking (although he was glaring at the students who were doing such to him probably trying to look tough) she guessed he was simply new and had no idea why the students had every right to be glaring at him instead of the other way around. Akira mentioned the size of the area and what was happening today--returning students would get reacquainted with the area and new ones would get the tour (although sometimes returning students went on the tour just because). Surprisingly, Akira asked Saiph to give the tour.
This happened on occasion but not every year so it was always a bit of a surprise when she was asked to do such. Still, she gave a nod and put her cigarette out and even trimmed the tip with her long, claw-like finger nails before putting it back into the small metal case. She came towards the gate and up close she tended to look far more intimidating due to her height, the neutral to stern look on her face, and muscular build--though it was lean and condensed muscle, so she still looked thin, but the tone was fairly impressive when they were put into action. She hit the button and the gates opened as she fanned her wings a bit more before she looked at the group of new students. She was smart and had photographic memory so she was scanning and taking them all in. "Alright noobs, lets go" She said, pushing her sun glasses up a bit as she did. Despite looking entirely and obviously Japanese, she had what most would call an English accent....the proper kind (none of that cockney bullshit). "My name is Saiph Velora-Turrant.... but please, just call me Saiph or Miss Saiph or Lady Saiph if you really want" She said. There were other family members who taught here namely her wife Gardenia who taught French and her daughter Mitsu who taught Music (and this was her first year doing so!). This was basically so things didn't get all too confusing. "I am the dance teacher for the school, I cover all kinds of dance from ballet to techno, hip hop, tap, step, swing.... all of it" She said. Few students could be swayed into taking dance without an actual demonstration but that generally came later when it was time to pick electives.
She swung out her arm gesturing to their left "To your left is the parking lot.... super exciting, I know but if you bother to save a bit of your bi-weekly allowances you could actually afford a car and park it here with the teachers and other staff if you wanted" She mentioned before continuing walking in but before them was a full blown park. It was beautiful and welcoming and of course, the inside of the fountains had been painted by a very famous artist TKOmura or... as Saiph knew her.... Takako. "This is one of the many parks we have on site...." She said. It was a large but circular park so as they made their way around it to the left the buildings started to appear "To your right is the hospital, if you're going to be fighting you'll probably end up there often....we have a very good staff though, they'll patch you right up" She mentioned before pointing ahead "And there's the counseling office if you need those services also" She said. Another daughter of hers was the psychiatrist there. Still, this was only the beginning of the tour....

 Maru Kiryu
Maru was watching everything happen and when she noticed Akira she just smiled. She loved that woman and even envied her. She was intelligent, beautiful, powerful, and a good-hearted woman. Maru listened to every word she said and just sort of nodded her head. She believed that if everyone did work together that things would be fine. Working with one another was the best way to make the school year a successful one and even Maru seemed to agree. It wasn't that she just listened to everything someone of power said it's just she rightfully agreed with everything said. When Akira centered Gar out though, Maru thought it was an honor of sorts and that got her to smile for Gar. Sadly a few of the other students seemed to want to laugh at the poor guy and that wasn't okay.
Maru's eyes grew cold and before Saiph could speak Maru walked up and just smashed her fist into one of the guy's who was laughing. It literally sounded like someone smashed two dump trucks together and the shock wave made by it got the other students to shut immediately. The guy slumped over as she had smashed her fist into his stomach. He just sort of remained there with foam coming out of his mouth which was likely more vomit due to the force of the punch. "First step to being Shotoken...learn some respect assholes." Maru said before turning to watch Gar. "Next time they laugh...kick their asses." She said with a matter-of-factly tone.
When Saiph came out and made crazy elk noises at everyone Maru was snapped out of her fit of anger. She remembered that she had made a special arrow for just this occasion. "Oh boy, it's time to break out the Saiph arrow." Maru stated as she hopped back a bit. She pulled an arrow from her quiver that had a bulb on one end of it. She notched it, pulled back, and flew it. The arrow shot through the sky making sounds similar to the one's that Saiph did. It was sort of a thing that Maru did for Saiph since the woman was in fact her favorite teacher there at the academy.
Maru tagged along with Saiph and hopefully Gar as the tour began. She knew all about the parking lot and where not to park your car. Maru hadn't bought a car although she could have a long time ago. She preferred to just walk to school, she thought it would maybe help her slim down some. Poor Maru still found herself to be unattractive since she could see where she stood a crowd of normal neko. They were all short, thin, and had longer ears than she did. She always felt so bad when she saw stuff like that because she knew they wouldn't let her hang out them with at all because of how she looked. Maru was too tall, nowhere near thin enough, and her ears were short. She wouldn't fit in very well. She shook that out her mind though as it was tour time.
Saiph showed the park which Maru loved, she then showed the hospital which she had in fact visited from time to time. Sometimes because she got put in there and sometimes because she put someone else in there. Her eyes then turned to the counseling office which she actually went to when she was feeling troubled. Maru always felt she could use a bit of guidance every now and then. She knew this was the beginning of the tour but she was wondering if the Shoujen was going to attack again during the tour like they did last year.
Teachers were not allowed to fight during school invasions unless other teachers were attacking. Were the Shoujen to strike during this tour Saiph would merely get to watch. Last year however it turned out a bad idea to attack when everyone was outside at one time. Most of the times the Shoujen was pretty smart about their attacks, but last year they seemed to hit a rut. That was however because the year before the last their big leader graduated so they were now under a new head honcho who was a bit less thinking and more brutal than the last.

The first teacher that had came out (Saiph) was making odd noises....he wondered what that was about. He glared at one of the students who mocked hm. Being the new laughing stock in the crowed didnt phase Gar much.It made sense to him anyway.Compared to him....A good majority of the other students were on a whole other level.Gar simply turned his head, letting his hood cast a bit of a shadow over his face.Things could always be worse you know? He noticed Maru storm by him for a moment.Huh?What was she....OH! A small *crack* sounded as the healthy neko knocked one of the students onto queer street! The punch that had been delivered to the male student sounded nasty....and the small rush of air (aka) shock wave that accompanied the initial impact left everyone in a state of silence.Though it was soon filled with the gross sound of heaving as Maru had caused the guy to spew his lunch. Gar kinda stood there dumbfounded...."First step to being Shotoken...learn some respect assholes." Maru then turned and passed words of advice onto the teen."Next time they laugh...kick their asses." "Uhm.....O-OK...." Only problem with that was Gar was an ant compared to a lot of these guys.Gar rubbed his head for a moment as he quietly replied with a fake smile trying to hide his surprise and hint of fear. "Y-you didnt have to do that though....still....I erm, think it was cool of you.Thanks.Also....I'll be sure not to piss you off...."The antlered lady flared her wings for a moment to get everyone's attention before announcing.Alright noobs, lets go" she said before adjusting her sunglasses.Being referred to as noobs was a lump that everyone had to take at some point.Maru seemed to snap out of her fit of rage. What?Saiph arrow?Gar raised a brow. The hell was that? Maru then took a few steps back. She pulled an arrow from her quiver that had a bulb on the end of it.She then shot it into the sky and it seemed to mimic the sounds that the antler lady had been making. ....I'll get used to it she says..... Gar thought as his eye twitched. But now it was time to get to know the grounds. The crowed proceeded with Saiph as she introduced herself. She was apparently the dance teacher which Gar could totally see being her muse.Maru and Gar then proceeded with the crowed as Saiph showed them the parking lot.....wait...if he saved he could get a car?! Thatd be so sweet! Oh...but wait...Gar didnt have a drivers license nor did he have any identification or social security...well..there went that dream. The group strolled by a rather pleasant park. The fountains covered in some unique art which was easy on the eyes and brought a sense of peaceful ambiance into the air as the water of the fountain spewed. But this just seemed to be one of the parks. As they veered left more buildings came into view.Saiph presented to her right,a building,or rather infirmary. "If you're going to be fighting you'll probably end up there often...." Well....that wasnt comforting but at least it was good to know that the medical staff were excellent!Saiph pointed ahead and introduced the group to a counselors office.Did counseling even really work? I mean a friend with a good ear could do the same job....maybe,or at least thats what gar liked to think but he understood that the counselors here had other duties as well. Gar flashed his sights to Maru for a moment, part of him still dwelling on her standing up for him.Gar rather liked the neko girl...maybe it was because she was so different from the neko's he had met before....Like a bit of an outcast like him. Insecurities dwelling under that flesh of hers...Maybe thats why he was quick to identify with her.Still....he thought it was sweet of her to step up for him, even if she did scare the piss out of Gar for a moment.

Saiph watched as Maru beat the ******** out of a kid with just one punch. Of course, he was also a new student and she informed him that the first step to being a Shotoken student was to learn some respect. She then turned to the rather wimpy looking boy and told him next time to beat their asses....he of course, looked pretty nervous and eventually managed to say she didn't have to do that but he thanked her anyways and mentioned not pissing her off. That was generally a wise idea. Still, Saiph was waiting for--there it was. The ever classic arrow that Maru had made. Her 'Saiph Arrow' which was one that made the sounds she did which not only let others know that she was here but in battle, also served as a distraction to many others. Of course, Saiph was well aware of how Maru felt about her and therefore the arrow always made her smile. It also let her know that the girl would likely be tagging along with the noobs (especially since she'd seemingly befriended one) and would also likely work her way up to the front to chat with the teacher.
Saiph knew the girl well.... she knew Maru felt self conscious about how she looked--she was tall and thick for a neko and had short ears. She also knew though the girl wasn't "fat" per-say. Maybe for a neko, yes generally she would be considered such but unlike for most where they were fat simply because they were lazy and ate terribly Saiph knew the girl worked hard and ate healthy but the pounds simply would not go away. Saiph had always told her though, Maru reminded her more of a black-smith in that sense. Yes, they looked bigger and bulkier and 'over weight' compared to any body else of their race human or otherwise but....under all of that 'fat' as most saw it was huge amounts of muscle....muscles that others couldn't even seem to fathom them having because of how they looked. Saiph suggested using things like that to her advantage but to also know her limits--such as letting people come to her more because Maru couldn't keep up a chase for as long despite how fit she was and then giving them hell up close and personal. Maru was an archer but even the best archers couldn't get everyone on a battle field if only due to lack of numbers comparatively.
That said, Saiph was basically the opposite. Her stomach was a literal void that could not be filled by physical food. Only souls could fill her stomach and she rarely ate enough of those to be full. She ate whatever she damn well pleased and while she was fit and at least had some balance between good food, junk food, and literal random objects (like cars) she couldn't seem to gain weight. She looked thin and with her arms in addition to her bust few would take her seriously. Even though her legs were relatively thick and even though her muscles were all toned they were so compact people still thought her weak at least until she was up on them. She was a demon, and yes her kind were normally pretty weak--just slightly better than a human--she was a bit of a freak. She had some other things mixed in that accounted for her odd features like her wings and antlers and a few other things but the other part was one few knew. It was basically invisible unless she decided to show it although she much preferred to not--to simply look like herself.
The tour started and the hospital and all the other buildings thus far looked pristine and beautiful. While most school counselors focused on helping kids pick classes and things like that, and they had people for that there as well but that also included any mental health services. For such a large population there were bound to be those with things like depression or anxiety that was so awful they needed medications or even things like bipolar disorder that, with meds could be easily managed. And sometimes absolutely horrible things happened to people....that was life.... and they were there for that, to help support people in ways no others who weren't trained could.
Still, the grounds were clean and well kept and she moved on past the counseling building before pointing out a rather large building "That's the student recreation area.... there are pools, places for clubs to meet, a huge arcade, pretty much anything you could want in there" She said before pointing to another decently sized building that indeed had the perfect view of the gate and parking lot "And that's the fine-arts building.... that's where you'll find me for dance" She mentioned "Music is also in there as is the theater for drama, occasionally when it's bad weather some of the things like Yoga and that sort of thing are also taught in there usually in one of the dance rooms" She mentioned. There were a few dance rooms as it completely depended on how large the class was but typically it wasn't a problem since her classes were notoriously full and huge it left the smaller rooms for things like Yoga and Pilates and even some t'ai chi and other similar things.
Surprisingly, she paused and looked "Do you guys want to go in the buildings? Or just pass them by....? I ask primarily because while, with these buildings finding the rooms aren't too bad but in the larger main buildings.... I feel assured you'll want to go in. We can do that when you get your uniform, dorm keys, student ID and all that garbage" She said with a wave of her hand. Little did Gar know, being a Shotoken student not only got him an official ID he could use instead of a drivers license if he didn't want to get that (sort of like a state issued ID) as well as a social security number which would be on any of his forms/documents from here. As she was waiting for the answer though, they walked around the side of the dance building past the student recreation area she paused and pointed out a building close to a different looking sort of parking lot, a smaller one meant for just a few cars which got her to point.
"That's the mechanic's building which includes auto shop, introduction to robotics and electrical work, wood shop, welding, some carpentry classes...." She paused making a circle with her hand to indicate "so on and so forth" but without saying it. "They aren't in at the moment as they had a spill over there setting something up so we won't be going over close because it's noxious....but that's where it is if you're interested in that sort of thing" There were almost always mostly men in that building as it was typically males who were into building things, construction type things, welding and cars (not just putting them together but pimping them out too). Still, going in meant meeting potentially more of the teachers. But it was up to them. Some groups liked to take a long tour, others wanted the short tour and she was waiting to see what kind of group this was.....

 Maru Kiryu
Maru turned her head back to the boy and smiled gently giving him a nod of her head. "No problem. I'll stick up for you. You seem like someone I'd want to be friends with anyways. Also don't worry about making me mad. The only way you can do that is to try and bully someone like that jerk." She said with a nod of her head before turning back to join in on the tour. Maru always preferred the long tour since Saiph always gave a fun tour to be had. Also she liked to see if there were new teachers every new year given that wasn't something that was very common. Most of the time the teachers who were teaching at the Shotoken were pretty much a permanent part of the school. That wasn't a bad thing though, that was just very good job security.
Maru moved on up in the crowd to get beside Saiph for a moment. "Good morning Saiph." Maru said with a smile her tail swishing happily for the moment. Maru was glad to be back at school, somewhere she felt she could at least fit in a little. She knew she was still too large and probably still too overweight but at least here she could talk to Saiph. Maru had very little friends but she did make friends with a few of the teachers instead. She liked the teachers as they were some of the more understanding people. Save for Mr. Ashol who was just a giant a*****e.
"I think I would personally prefer the long tour. It would help everyone who is new get used to the place and let those of us who are old get to see if there are any new teachers. Also if anyone else needs convincing I guess I can use the argument of they get to watch your hips for longer." Maru said with a nod and a small giggle. It was true that many, many of the male students couldn't help but watch Saiph move. She had them hips, that bust, and that look. Maru prayed that one day she'd be at least even half as attractive as Saiph. Sadly however the girl would forever sell herself short and felt she was nowhere near attractive enough to ever get there. Maru didn't even feel she was attractive enough to attract a single boy, but that was life. There were the beautiful people then there were the not so beautiful people. Gar with his looks could actually slide right on in with the beautiful people.
Maru was going to walk right beside Saiph since she liked the woman so much as to call her one of her best friends. She did turn her head back to Gar to see if he wanted to join her up here. She didn't know how he felt about it all though. Maru had been here for a long time but it was Gar's first time. She sadly didn't know what it felt like to be a new student at a school so large especially to have come from so far away. Maru didn't even know where this Gaia place was as she had lived here her entire life.
"Do you have any new ideas for dance this year? You know I'll be there." She said with a smile as she looked up to Saiph. She actually did sort of look up to this woman quite a bit. She did spot where her arrow had landed however and she would make note to grab it up when they made their way towards it. "Also...any new teachers?" She asked gently as she turned her head to look right back at Saiph.

As they continued the group was introduced to,the recreation area...pools?! Social Clubs?! And-AND AN ARCADE?! Well this play certainly allowed its students to relax after a long day in style at least. The groups attention was then directed to the fine arts building where Saiph was stationed.Music and Drama was apparently also contained there...which was something Gar might look into actually. He had great interest of music and acting....Music was the best way to convey feeling....acting allowed you to be someone else for a while...which in Gars case was a blessing. They were then introduced to the mechanic building which is where people who were good at making things with their hands found themselves. Gar had blushed a bit but turned his head away. When Maru told him that she'd stick up for him.She really didnt have to do that.....but...it was comforting to know that she had his back.He was glad he had met Maru though because he'd probably be walking around lost, making a bigger fool of himself then he already had! "Don't worry about making me mad.The only way you can do that is to try and bully someone like that jerk." He grinned before replying calmly and quietly as to not interrupt Saiph's tour. "Right...well ehr...you'll be glad to know im not the "bully" type.I stick to myself most of the time, and I try not to go around and create needless drama....so theres that."He hushed and continued with the group before Saiph asked if they wanted to be introduced to the interior.Meanwhile Maru proceeded to the front where she greeted the dance teacher.Gar couldnt help but smile watching Maru's tail swish back and forth with joy.It was kinda sentimentally cute to him. Maru was for going inside in order to familiarize people. "Also if anyone else needs convincing I guess I can use the argument of they get to watch your hips for longer." Maru stated jokingly. Gar spoke to himself. "Hook, line, and sinker...." Saiph was indeed a beautiful woman but she probably knew that herself...there was just something about her that Gar found unsettling...he couldn't place his finger on it... just an erie feeling he got from her presence. As they continued Maru happened to glance back as if to say he could come up there if he wanted,a glance to Saiph....and he simply shrugged with a mediocre wave of his palm indicating he was fine where he was. He'd rather be a face in the crowed for the moment anyway. As they moved on he yet again adjusted the duffel bag he carried over his shoulder.

Saiph looked down and paused to give Maru a hug when the girl came over to her swishing her tail all cutely. She was a sweet woman and in instances like this it showed. Still, after the hug she listened as Maru mentioned that she preferred the long tour as it would help everyone get used to the place and there was chance to meet any new teachers for those older ones who tagged along. Not to mention, it gave every one else a chance to stare at Saiph's hips for longer which made both Maru and Saiph laugh. She knew she was a sexy woman with a very curvy figure-- she was tall with long toned legs, she was slender but with wide set hips, a bubble butt, toned abs and huge boobs. She had a pretty attractive face too....
However, as she pushed her hair behind her ear there was what looked like a line of text behind it. If one was closer they'd be able to see that the tattoo was that of a series of numbers which was seemingly random. It was hard to say though and it was yet another one of those things that few actually knew what it was. It was just assumed to be a really random tattoo which wouldn't be completely out of character for Saiph but....it did weirdly stay which wasn't typically a thing she could do. It's why she didn't get scars....she regenerated and healed. That said she still had a few of them from a few specific wounds she'd gotten--axes to be precise. Still Maru asked if she had any new ideas for dance this year and Saiph smiled "You'll see then" She said before asked about new teachers "Mitsu started this year as the music teacher. I helped set up her classroom....although I'm sure she's still working on it" She mentioned as she opened the door to the building with her key.
"Alright file in...." She called. She was a commanding presence as she was a leader. She was used to being at least somewhat of an authority if only because she was so smart and knowledgeable. What she didn't realize was that she was actually being intimidating right now. She didn't have her hollow out but the being was still there and it probably didn't help that the way she smiled was always with her lips--never with her teeth but there was a reason for that. It was one of the few things Saiph was self conscious about. She had sharp monster teeth.... all of them long, fang like things. It was mostly due to what she ate.... souls.....right out of living bodies more often than not. Hence the horribly sharp teeth that looked like something straight from hell.
What she opened the large doors to was a long hall. There were tile floors and such but the walls were decorated with beautiful art and boards of up coming events, sign up sheets for the classes in here, that sort of thing. Of course Saiph let them peek into the theater--it was a large beautiful theater like one might expect to find in a movie almost. It made somewhere like Broadway look.... childish or as if it was the one that belonged in the school. This was especially true since the back drop wasn't down and one could see the huge back-stage area with the office there--obviously for the drama teacher. Across from that Saiph let them peek into a music room.... of course, it was designed and set up for a large symphony (which meant band and strings playing together) but there was also a piano, a harp, and various other instruments along the side that weren't typically involved. A room inside this one was open and it held the school issued instruments--brass instruments in particular in this case. Likewise, a number of the practice rooms were open as well showing that the room was huge and seemingly built to provide the best sound feed back with the sound board walls and such.
Inside one of the instrument rooms was a short (5'4" ) white haired woman with her back turned. She was cleaning something--likely an instrument but paused when she heard the door open. She turned to show that she had one blue eye and one purple eye that stared right at the group. She barely looked old enough to not be a student herself. "Hi mom" She said with a smile and Saiph returned it "You all set up?" She asked and Mitsu shook her head "Almost...." She looked at the group and blushed a little. Saiph turned to the students "This is your music and voice teacher.... my daughter Mitsu who, like me, would also prefer to be called 'Miss or Lady' as opposed to by our last name....because she has an extra one attached" She said with a slight laugh and Mitsu nodded "Yeah just call me Miss or Lady Mitsu...." She said not sure if the students had any questions for her or what. She had only graduated last year and she would be turning 18 here shortly (in about a month) but even so.... with assurance from the previous music teacher as to why she was sort of retiring....she had taken over. That actually said a lot about her and just how good she was....
Speaking of the previous teacher, she was also in there helping as she still taught here. She was just....the art teacher now instead of all three. She was in the string room though putting all the cellos with their bows on racks, same with bases and the violins and violas had shelves for their cases with them in it. The guitars hung on the wall as did the banjo and the various other stringed instruments were in fewer quantities but they all had their place. She was likely going to come out and come around the corner to see the students on the tour as well which was also part of why Saiph was waiting. Mrs Fife was a classy French elf who definitely needed to be met as she was also one of the core teachers.

 Madeline Fife
Ms. Fife was in fact busy setting up the music room for the new year. She had stepped down as the music teacher and let her star student Mitsu take over as the music teacher. Yes, she knew Mitsu was extremely young and probably too young to be teaching but she had a feeling that the girl would end up becoming an even better music teacher than even she was. Fife had composed multiple masterpieces that had been heard in all sorts of things, from plays to large budget motion pictures. To the students of the Shotoken Academy she was pretty much a musical legend who could easily outdo others who were considered to be musical geniuses. Madeline Fife was noted to be not only the greatest composer of the current century but possibly the greatest composer of all time. She however never even dared to brag about as such as bragging was not something the classy woman ever did.
Fife was inside the room with Mitsu setting up when she heard the door sling open and Saiph's voice ring throughout the walls. She turned her head towards the woman's voice and gave a small smile. It seemed that Saiph was leading the tour and with that said the kids were probably in for a fairly fun time, or at least Fife hoped she'd make it fun for them all. Saiph was currently introducing Mitsu and as she was the French woman went back to setting up the harpsichorde. She was tuning it to make sure it sounded absolutely beautiful for it's first day. She treated these instruments like they were her own children. Were you to scratch even a piccolo she would have your head for it. After Saiph had introduced them the French woman slowly stood, brushed herself off, and made her way over to the group of students.
"Bonjour. My name is Madeline Fife and unlike them I would prefer you call me Ms. Fife." She said with a very thick French accent before giving her head a light bob. "I will be teaching you art. From sculpting to painting to even sketching the nude figure of your classmates." She said with no hint of a joke in there. She enjoyed all forms of art, save for that stuff that was a bunch of squares or a line with a colored circle in there. "You will have me I am most assured as art is a requirement here at the Shotoken Academy. If not there are other art teachers but I do pray to have as many as possible. I will open up your artistic vision." Fife said confidently. To be honest there were other art teachers but she always had the most students by a good large number. She was the best here and no other art teacher could even hold a candle to her. Still, she couldn't teach EVERYONE that would be a little over-the-top.
Fife turned her head to look back to Mitsu. "That is Mitsu the new musical teacher as well as my top talent when it comes to musical ability." She said with a smile. She turned her eyes back to the crowd before landing them on both Maru and Gar. The woman looked at them for a moment before a light came on in her head for something she wanted to paint.
"You have a lovely figure my dear, very...risque." Fife said to Maru before turning her attention to Gar. "And you have an androgynous look to you...you would both make excellent models I am most assured." She said before looking at the two of them for a moment longer. She had not yet had Maru in her class as Fife didn't teach anyone below high school. Madeline didn't have the patience at all for middle school children and definitely not pre-schoolers. It wasn't that she didn't like kids, she loved kids, it was just that she didn't do well teaching those with relatively short attention spans. "Maybe at one point I will have you both model for me, yes?" She asked before going to thinking about what the painting might come out to be.
As for poor Maru she was now bright, bright red and looking down. She actually scooted to stand behind Gar. She didn't think she had a lovely figure, she felt like she was ugly and that maybe Fife was picking on her. She didn't say anything as her tail came up inbetween her legs and her ears flattened to her head. She sort of knew that Fife had zero filter on her mouth but she also didn't know if it was a real compliment or not. Maru would just take it like she did every other compliment as most compliments were in fact just people being sarcastic to her so they could hurt her feelings.

After a brief exchange Saiph ordered everyone to file in and the students did just that without question.Yea....there was defiantly something goin on with this teacher...Gar found her intimidating....her thoughts and emotions wrapped up tight like a present covered in layer upon layer of duct tape. Saiph ended up taking them into the arts building.Upon entry there was a long hallway. The floor tiled, the walls were cluttered with art work...which sort of gave it a neat sense of ambiance. They eventually got to peak into the theater which was quite nifty! It was magnificent really....but unfortunately the small awing experience had to end as they proceeded onward. They then came into the music room. There happened to be a girl in there....looked like she was cleaning some instruments. She had long white hair, and mix matched eyes.Gar was a little taller then her but not by much...maybe a student? She seemed a little shy or embarrassed as she was confronted by the group of students. There was another woman in there, clearly older and looked like an an elf. "This is your music and voice teacher.... my daughter Mitsu who, like me, would also prefer to be called 'Miss or Lady' as opposed to by our last name....because she has an extra one attached" Saiph's daughter...? Ok...that was a bit surprising, even more then now knowing that this girl was a teacher as well! The elven woman soon stood and brushed her clothing of which was rather stylish,so much so it almost seemed regal.Gar had to admit her hair was amazing,It just flowed with her so well. "Bonjour. My name is Madeline Fife and unlike them I would prefer you call me Ms. Fife." Fife said in a thick accent.Gar hadnt guessed her to be french...go figure! " From sculpting to painting to even sketching the nude figure of your classmates." She stated rather casually. Was she serious? Ms. Fife was the art teacher and Gar as well as a lot of others would end up having her class as her class was a requirement. She presented Lady Mitsu again, praising her as her top talent when it came to musical ability. Ms. Fife turned her attention back to the crowed. Her eyes seemed to fall on Maru before stating - "You have a lovely figure my dear, very...risque." and then her gaze went to Gar! "And you have an androgynous look to you..." Wait? Was that a polite way of saying he looked like a hermaphrodite...?!Gar bit his bottom lip in thought for a moment in irritation because he didnt know weather to be flattered or insulted as Ms. Fife explained Maru and himself would make excellent models. "Maybe at one point I will have you both model for me, yes?"Gar's eyes slid to Maru for a second whom was blushing a bright bright red,his eyes finding the floor. She seemed to move behind Gar for the moment. Gar kinda felt sorry for her. He could tell she was having a hard to accepting such a nice comment about her body....but that was only collateral from being teased he was sure.Gar was sympathetic in that regard. He had his own insecurities about his looks as well....and he himself had been subject of harassment many times over his appearance...in more ways then just one. Gar didnt see Maru as being fat,and even if she herself thought differently it was just one of those things you couldnt help.Gar liked to look past stuff like that....What good was a body if the soul who inhabits it is a total p r]ick...Maru wasnt like that,Gar thought she was cool, inside and out.In his opinion she should just learn to love herself. Thinking for a moment....Gar finally bobbed his head upwards and shrugged. "I uh....I cant speak for Maru back here but,yea....Id do it...." Gar said with complete confidence.

During the speech of Akira Kyosuke, principal of a curious school, one student sat on her haunches. Shaded from the mid morning sun by shadows, Adrian took refuge in the masses. Her eyes were shaded by lavender circle glasses the same shade of her mass of curly hair. While waiting she'd braided and pinned it up and started fanning herself. Osaka was a hotter region than what she was accustomed to and it made her even more put out than usual from having to wear long sleeves and pants. She listened to the welcome, the same spiel as many of the other high schools she'd attended. Except this was the first school that could help her develop what they called an inner soul.
When the letter came her parents told her she would be attending as some sort of punishment for being kicked out of the last school. Of course she'd protested, but the feeling she got from reading the letter had quelled her argument. Something about this place had called to her. So now, tired from fighting to get to sleep and up again she sat as people hooted and snickered and some sort of fight broke out but was quelled by a few words and a great punch by a Neko Amazon.
"Next time they laugh... kick their asses," the Amazon had advised a rather slender kid. Adriane couldn't help but look twice at the pair, but also admired the purple hoodie the slender one wore before they were on some tour. Knowing the place was vast she tagged along though the antlered woman gave her more than the creeps. For some reason she found her teeth set and grinding a bit but wrote it off as she was just too tired to deal with the situation. The word 'abomination' came to mind every time the woman spoke and Adriane firmly decided dance wasn't going to be something she was taking. It was also depressing to learn that her first impressions of the Music and Voice teacher were the same. However her love of singing might persuade her to deal with it for the time being, after all it was only a few years. It was odd because the elf, Ms. Fife, didn't make her react the same way.
She snapped out of her thoughts as Ms. Fife praised both Amazon and Purple Hoodie for their body type and couldn't help but smile. The two were hard to miss in a crowd, but it seemed they had the exact opposite personality from their body type, regardless of how the Neko clearly decimated the student earlier. Confidence in skill rather than in oneself, whereas the other, decidedly male from the voice, had confidence enough to volunteer to model nude but none in a fight.

Saiph glanced over the class as Mrs Fife came out and introduced herself. What an interesting bunch. They had all kinds of people there--a vampire hybrid with pink hair, a neko, a few humans including a blind girl with her little cane. She was going to see that the girl went to speak to Akira about having her accommodations met. She seemed to be aware though that art.... the elf in front of her who taught such....would be hard. She was shying away and turning her head and even her body away. Clearly a bit of a sore subject. Saiph didn't ask however as she simply paid attention to Mrs Fife who was assuring she preferred to go by her last name and that art was a requirement here. Saiph knew she was dead serious about painting their classmates nude before even commenting about how Maru and Gar looked--how they'd make excellent models.
Gar stepped up but Maru shied away which, because Saiph knew the girl, half broke her heart. She wished Maru could see herself through Saiph's eyes since Saiph didn't see physical appearance so much as she saw the soul...literally what was inside someone--what kind of person they were. Now it was true, if someone was over weight she would comment and she wouldn't always be nice about it...but that was generally because those who she commented on were typically ugly inside too. Those who were nice she generally offered to help if only for their health but with the additional benefit of them feeling better about themselves. Maru was not that over weight. She made it look nice--even if the scale said she needed to trim down Saiph honestly believed the girl looked just fine....healthy...pretty. But she didn't see it.... not like Saiph and Fife did. Both of whom genuinely saw Maru as pretty...no sarcasm, no picking on her just an honest to goddess complement.
Mitsu meanwhile, gave a small bow of her head as she returned to setting the class up. "I look forwards to seeing at least some of you I hope?" She said as a pair of white wings unfolded from her hips. Not many would realize what they were or what they meant but those who did would likely know she was more than she looked. She was a valkyrie. The reason for those wings coming out though was for balance. She was intending to move a few things around and being such a small weightless girl she needed the extra support and push that they could provide. Saiph smiled at the two "I'll let you guys get back to work.... also, the piano is crooked" She mentioned which got Mitsu to roll her eyes a bit. "We're still moving things around" Mitsu said with a small giggle knowing her mother would likely come and fix everything so it suited her OCD later.
"Lets go!" Saiph called as she started walking down the hall again. Of course they passed some of the offices like Mitsu's, Fife's, Saiph's and a few others. Across from the offices though was a room with microphones and some recording equipment and a few other things like music stands and such. It was a small room but it was obviously a recording studio and of course there was likewise a listening studio. The next room sloped downwards all centered down a piano. There were just music stands and a few chairs and such which made it the choir room. Of course it also had small sound/practice rooms for private lessons (like the music room)
Up the stairs they went to the second floor! There was a serene room--sort of like an indoor garden or a sun room/green house with benches, a fountain...essentially a place to be at peace. It was beautiful and bright, the air was fresh and warm and there were even some song birds chirping in there. Not to mention it was huge! On the other side from it were the balcony seating and such for the theater but on either side of that there were rooms that were just called the 'imagination stations'. They went up to the third floor since the rooms were fairly empty for the moment. Likely, the teachers who generally monitored those rooms were out meeting other students outside.
On the third floor however were three dance studios which although was used for dance (large general classes and smaller more specialized classes)--had multiple uses. They were rooms with large windows and beautiful wood floors and large mirrors and of course, that was where Saiph would be. Next to the dance studios however was a large empty looking room with what appeared to be a wall consuming console within it. It was labeled inner-soul lessons. Saiph explained however that this was where students could go to allow their inner soul to take classes and learn how to cook and do other things they desired....although she didn't go into detail as of yet since they had not yet had the inner soul lecture from Akira. Still, on the other side however was a large kitchen that would put five star restaurants to shame in addition to an area that looked akin to master-chef junior but.... on a bigger, more impressive scale. This was where Saiph's wife taught.... she was the cooking teacher. Beside the kitchen was a rather lounge like room.... a rest and relaxation room that had comfortable seating, televisions, headphones, places to charge electronics or plug in laptops, and of course a little window for the cooking students to have other students try their food and drink for feedback.
Since no one was in the lounge area Saiph dared poke her head into the kitchen. "Gardenia?" She asked gently in a soft and rather loving tone. She was hoping to catch the woman so she could introduce her to the students. She felt it would be good for them especially since a lot of the time students shied away from the fine arts for fear of being teased or something of the like. Saiph didn't see why. She saw no shame and nothing wrong with learning any of these skills. Granted, although teachers could also take classes if they pleased, Saiph was not allowed in the kitchen. She was....that bad. Not to mention she had a history of burning kitchens down so that was definitely a no go. On the other hand, being right next to the kitchen was good as it generally kept her from eating too many things she shouldn't be eating and she was a good critic as she had a weirdly refined pallet.
