"Heh, I do what I can." He said, giving the woman a smile, before he tuned to start toward where he knew the inn to be. As she asked about the place getting rowdy he laughed, "On occasion, during those times Gyuri will merely scoop people up and toss them out bodily, or so I am told. I've overheard it a few times, but for the most time they don't get in that big of fights. Their weapons are taken away from them at the door, so it's nothing to worry about." He wanted to let her know, so she wouldn't think that there were constant brawls or anything. The idea of that happening... it was a bit scary, mostly because Eira would end them...

Makani chuckled again, "It's not hard to spot her, I can assure you that. I am told she is quite flashy and even the energy that swirls around her, what I use along with my magic to 'see' is pretty flashy itself." He doubted anyone could miss his sister unless they were truly blind or maybe dead.

Makani gave a thoughtful sound, "It's hard to describe. I can't see as others do, instead I can sense the energy of those around, me, both people and beats. I can also use my magic to sense things that are around me. It's how I keep from tripping over stuff all the time." He explained with a little chuckle. Tripping over things was what he'd done when he was little and had no access to magical energy. Speaking of energy that swirled around others... he tilted his head to one side, listening for a moment... and heard Rae barking, as well as the hissing of Coil. It seemed that the pair were going to stick around by the river, likely to protect the barrels until he returned. Such good beasts they were.

Turning his attention back to Faamy he continued, "From what I have learned so far everyone has their own energy signiture, it's what makes them... well, them. It can evolve over time, but the core of it seems to always feel the same to me." At least from what he 'seen' so far, "So yes, I was able to sense you coming and I new you weren't someone that I knew, which was why I had first assumed you one of my sister's apprentices."

Makani tilted his head to one side, then gave a little laugh, "Song material, huh? That's something I don't think I'vd heard before... but hey, if you find me to be helpful to writing a song feel free." He found himself instantly wondering what sort of song it might be, but figured that he'd likely hear it eventually. At least if she decided to perform the song where he could hear it that was.

"Hmm... maybe a little vague? I do so enjoy teasing people just a little after all. It might not be as much fun if everyone knows my secrets." He chuckled again before lifting a hand, "Alright, the inn stands before us. If you want to head in I'd say look for either Gyuri or my sister, neither of them are easy to miss. Gyuri is a giant of a man, something even I know, and my sister will be the flashy Zenan woman with the baby."

Giving a smile Makani said, "Enjoy your stay! I'm sure that the two of us will chat again before you leave. For now though I should probably get back to work, I've slacked off long enough and I don't want my sister to notice." It had been some time since he was sent out to fetch water and he'd spent some time lazing by the river, then chatting with Faamy. Best that he actually went about his work soon.

"It was nice to meet you too, Faamy, and I look forward to hearing the song." He gave a nod of his head before turning, heading back toward the river, a smile on his face. It had been a nice meet and now he just had to get to work so that he could return and chat with the singing girl again.
