Dris'rynne could still feel blood drifting down her left calf, and knew that if it looked as rough as it felt then she would need to stitch it. The area from her mid back to left shoulder burned with every little movement, though nothing more than any other area of her body. Her chest in particular didn't feel the best in the world, and perhaps it might have stung less had she not been keeping her arms tucked so firmly against it.

"Thank you, for your kindness."
Dris'rynne didn't even try to curb the surly hiss in her voice. She knew she looked rough, but a curtain? It was no wonder he was out here, alone, trying to rob people, with an attitude like that. Where as just a moment before she was laughing, even feeling light about the whole situation, Dris'rynne just felt huffy now. Who was he to talk, anyway, after being the reason they were ambushed in the first place?

Oh, she knew merchants who sold good wine. She would buy a special bottle just for him, and douse his wounds with it.

"Dris'rynne," She said in lea of a proper introduction. "Probably are. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." Despite her obvious annoyance, Dris'rynne wasn't about to let either one of them fall over thanks to an infection. If he was going to be laid up in bed for a week, it would be by her fist and nothing more.

Tes let his gaze scrape down the woman's frame. It was easier to ignore her torn shirt once she was covering herself. And really? She was probably more messed up than he was, by far. There was blood in a lot of places, hm. His golden stare caught and held on her legs. He let out a low whistle. "Damn, they got you pretty good, too..." Maybe that was retribution enough. The Shifter- Dris'rynne- had already gotten her hits in on him. Letting the perzai wreck him too would've just added insult to injury.

It was best this way, Teslaron decided at length. She was a warrior. She could fight the warrior's fight and endure the warrior's pain. He was an ill-trained, inexperienced joke. She could suffer his blows for him too.

"Y'know," he put his hands on his hips and cocked them to one side, accented by the most coy grin he could fit on his face. "If you're feeling especially worn after that difficult and grueling battle, I could carry you?" Tes offered teasingly.

Next post from you can end it, I think. c: 2027 WC for Dris'rynne

She had never seen any man with his hands on his hips or with a grin like that in her life.

Dris'rynne knew immediately that it was a very, very dangerous combination.

On the one hand it made him look devilish, which might have also meant mildly attractive, if she gave him that much of a compliment. On the other hand what in the world was wrong with him?!

"I can walk just fine on my own, thank you." Naturally she limped a little once weight was put on her injured leg, but Dris'rynne managed to walk way from him with her head held high.

"Move or lose it. My offer of medical aid won't last forever." What she needed was a good drink, and a better one to clean her wounds out with. Maybe she would get lucky and he would just walk away now?

No one would get that lucky with this man involved. Not even the Gods themselves.

Talisia would never believe her if she gave the girl the full story. She would have to amend it a bit - cut out almost everything to do with Tes. Okay - EVERYTHING to do with Tes. That way she could forget this day ever happened and move on with life.

Your existence EMBARRASSES ME, TESLARON.

Ah, one of those touchy 'don't need your help' types. Fine, fine. He knew he wouldn't have been able to carry her more than a few feet, anyway. And maybe she could just look at him and tell as much for herself. He wasn't exactly built for any type of manual labor. Still, it might have been nice and amusing to just fleetingly hold her like heroes held pretty damsels in distress. The sun would sink low and paint the sky orange and massive waves would crash up against cliffs that would appear from nowhere to set the scene. 'Never fear, baby. I'll keep the world at bay.'

Not that Dris fit the bill for that, but it would be interesting, besides.

Teslaron snorted and had no hope of keeping the smirk from his lips. He scraped a hand back through his hair, careful in his attempts the keep it from tangling against the still-sticky oozing blood from his ear. "Alright, alright, I hear you," he retorted with a chuckle. "No need to be so snooty about it."

By some miracle, there were no further incidents during their time together (caused by wild animals or otherwise). They made it to the nearest town, obtained supplies, and were able to hopefully dissuade further agony by treating the injuries caused by perzai. If Tes made her endure a little extra antagonism for her efforts, Dris'rynne would just have to deal with it.
