Ananke left out the breath she didn't know she was holding after the rumbling was over. She smiled at Newgrange "I guess it would be best for us to stick together huh... I don't think I'd be able to do much on my own." She chuckled trying to keep things light.
Ananke then realized that there where other people who where trying to get some crystals. "Um I'll try and get us some crystals so we can see where we are going." Ananke the carefully walked over to the wall and then reached for the bright objects to try and take back to the group.

Slievenamon, Page of Neptune
It was unknown to how long the young page stood there before the Academy, but she seemed rooted to the spot—too scared to act on the desire that she thought once drove her. It was as if she needed a contradicting variable to get her to move again, and that seemed to come in the form of whatever was keeping that beckoning company down there in the depths. The growl it gave was enough to tremble the girl to her core. Slievenamon seemed ready to book it.
Almost.
Nothing was going to give her up from finding what was calling her. Carefully, she trekked to where she thought she saw the others going in an attempt to keep up; quickly hoping to snatch up one of the glowing crystals as a light source lest all of them get swallowed up by the darkness below.

Andronicus Squire of Uranus
The squire shivered, crouching down to trace the broken Earth symbol on the ground. Huh, so the damned scroll was right. The Academy did exist. Part of it anyway. A part of her felt reverence for this place, eyes trained on a distant corner of the building that called to her. She followed after Kairatos to the stairs and looked down in the chasm below.
Something bellowed below, shaking the ruins to their foundations. A guardian, or something the Negaverse put there to corrupt the building, to consume it from the inside out.
"Time's a'wastin'. I'm gunna go on ahead and scout," she said to those around her. Andronicus pulled a crystal off the wall mid-stride, and flipped her hood up over her head.
Then, she descended into the abyss, the light of her crystal fading into the depths with her.

Arthur the guardian Cat
The whole place shook and he arched his back, growing low as he felt the wave upon wave of just plain awful wash over him like being downwind of a dumpster in July. It made his insides crawl, and he moved about to avoid the falling stone and wood that splintered and cracked around him.
As he moved, he watched as other knights and senshi started to talk among themselves. Looking about, he watched as crystals rolled through cracks in the ground and down to the stairwell abyss below. Running over, he picked up a crystal of his own, before looking up to see a knight run by and DOWN!
"MRAIF!" He called out, chasing down after her. "MRED MROM MRELPH?"
**Muffled "Wait!" ***Need some help?

Scholomance
Nothingness stretched at unknown depths in the gaping holes of the building. Scholomance was losing patience; his eyes would not adjust to see beneath, and time passed ruthlessly. He straightened then, and pressed a hand to the nearest wall as he traced his way around an otherwise hopeless floor. The bricking looked mostly destroyed, leading him to choose his steps carefully.
Occasionally he found gaps in the wall where he peered into old chambers. Only studiousness was evident there - sometimes he found the barely recognizable form of a desk, and other times he found little more than scrap scattered across the floor. Dirtied pages long disintegrated, flecks of ceiling, and copious layers of violet dust often covered the floor.
The crystals grew everywhere. Often he had to duck to avoid great clusters of them that protruded from the wall violently. They bandied about their ominous purple glow to keep the caverns and rooms lit, though only barely so. His eyes worked tirelessly to keep his path only barely in sight, as he followed the voices of others who traversed the area. He hardly caught sight of the back of a Uranus knight descending into the depths when he heard a cat call to her. He, too, disappeared into the darkness; Scholomance wondered if there was much else to find in this locale, or if they forged ahead out of necessity.
A low, visceral growl emanated from the depths, and Scholomance paused in step. Is this now a den? He faltered, then continued in a careful tail of the group that found the stairs.
As he followed the wall, he kept casting gaze back to it in hopes of finding tapestry or painting or any sign of what the building used to be. And as he descended the steps, with only violet and the sound of others pressing on ahead to guide him, he wondered if this choice of venture was the best idea. Those who went to the castle or the other building - were they still alive?

It wasn't that Paris WANTED to go into the inky darkness that was well, the darkness. It was just that he was exceptionally more paranoid of all things with beckoning calls and strange tugs. So far they had led to nothing but bad news.
Looking at the earth page who was trying to hold him back, Paris spoke in a shaky voice. "I d-d-d-don't want to really." He gulped in some air before elaborating. "But ev-every time I've gotten weird feelings? It- It's been bad. So this time, I'll go the other way." He was visibly not too keen on either option.
"Hypmo- yeah I don't- Wanna go to a trap. It feels like a trap."
He yelped as stones fell just a few feet away. His shock at the instability had also caused him to jump- and his foot to land on a further unstable portion of the path.
It was like time had slowed down for him as he felt his body shift backwards, as his mind didn't move quick enough to reach out, his body frozen in sudden fear.
And thus, as his foot slid off stone, Paris fell backwards, down into the darkness.
She'd stuck close to Palatine and Andronicus, silent as she'd felt her throat constrict and chest tighten as she looked about at the scene before them. It was... it really was. The Academy. She saw no symbols of Mars there upon the stone, but a bloom of pride warred with a sense of wrong to see those damn crystals growing here. To see it's state.
"Pros and cons of seeing this," she murmured to none in particular, though she found herself having to all but restrain herself from kneeling, bowing... something to show respect for the place. Having something from deep below bellowing helped keep her on her feet however. Pros? It still existed. The place the Code said was where knights were once trained. It still stood. Cons? It was stuck in the freaking Negaverse's realm and something seemed to be occupying it. She shivered, thinking again to how the story'd gone for how youma'd been created.
"Like ******** you're going alone," she snapped to Andronicus, moving to snap a crystal off the wall for a light, tangling it amongst her golden chain to keep herself from having to touch it. Holding the makeshift chain lamp ahead of her, she followed the Uranus Squire down the stairs. Startled by seeing a sudden white feline (Arthur) she tried to move quicker to catch up to him. "Want a lift, cat? Or you alright on your paws?"
"Andro, wait up," she tried to hiss, hoping to not further alert whatever else was down there.

Super Varuna
Varuna tried really, really hard not to let all the strange noises and weird things startle her. She wrung her wrists as if to try and prevent herself from launching an attack of snow on everyone around them. That would be really bad and she knew she had a habit of being a little magic happy.
She stayed close to Palatine and the knight named Kairatos even if she hadn’t said anything to them yet. She also eyed Themiscrya curiously since she seemed to be with Kairatos as well.
Hopefully they could figure out what they were there for and get out of there. The place didn’t seem to be very stable.
She gasped and reflexively started a bending dive forward toward the falling figure of Paris before her. Her upper body reached out to him with one hand not unlike the jump into a splits of elongated legs in ballet in the process of going for a landing except with her arms instead. She grabbed at the top of his shirt and pulled with all her might so that she managed to get the knight's torso into a hug with her arms under his armpits. And then she felt the pull downwards on their bodies more and more as her knees scraped the ledge with her forward slide and stretching figure.
"P-PLEASE," was all she managed to exclaim as she felt more of her body begin the process of tipping the rest of the way over the edge with her hold around the torso of Paris. WE NEED HELP! The rest of that plea of hers stayed a soundless scream in her mind as she willed her abdominal and leg muscles to tense and add further weight to her form in an attempt to anchor as much of the latter parts of herself against following the pull of a dive down to what level surface was still in contact with her feet, shins, and some of her knees despite the tug of war of the darkness on her body adamantly linked to who she was trying to hold onto in hopes of delaying and preventing him and herself from being lost together forever in the fall.
But then all it took as an abrupt crumbling away of more of the floor at the edge. And that sent them into a swift tip into a sure fall down to where there was darkness and darkness.

Newgrange
The thought of sticking together was a great idea—and was one Newgrange would have very much liked to have followed through with. He had turned to respond to Ananke when he heard Paris' yelp. He was immediately on edge and jerked his attention back to him—just in time to see him falling backwards.
His instinct kicked in at about the same time Altair's seemed to; he lurched forward to try and grab her before both of them fell into the darkness. For a second, he thought that was going to be the end of it. He had thought he had a good grip on Altair's uniform and it would be easy to just pull her up to safety—and Paris, with her. He hadn't anticipated that the solid slab of rock he was on would shatter under his weight, sending him entirely off balance. The shards of it slid down the gaping hole and he scrambled to pull back—but it was too late; he couldn’t catch himself—or Paris, or Altair, and he nearly jerked his arm out of socket trying to grip the ledge on the way down.
Things could be worse, though.
Thankfully, it looked like there was some debris and glowing crystals to slow their fall, and they probably had a nice, hard ground to look forward to.

Slievenamon, Page of Neptune
The scene played out like something out of a comical skit slowed down to an agonizing speed to emphasize the joke. Unfortunately, this was no laughing matter, and Slievenamon actually bit down her lip hard enough to draw a bit of blood before a scream burst forth when Altair, Paris, and now, Newgrangefell into the unknown and all of the nasties it held below.
She wasn't quick to save them, let alone become one of the people to fall, and instead stopped at the edge where the three had tumbled below. She tried to extend her arm into the darkness a bit passed the drop with hopes that, somehow, the glowing crystal would illuminate the area, but her attempt came to no avail. So she tried her voice instead.
"A-a-are you guys all right?" she called down. "Please tell me you are!"
((sorry for the double quote, aha.))

The crystal fragments that had been broken free flickered before settling into a slightly softer glower than the parent. They would give some light but it was clear that once the crystal was removed from the source, it quickly began to weaken. Reaching for one still attached to the wall would have resulted in a test of strength. Without some sort of hard force, those light sources did not want to move. But there was enough on the ground now to go around. But the limits they had as compared to those that lined the walls were still tested.
The result was quickly seen when Andronicus and Arthur quickly descending into the stairway that allowed the others up top to see that a single shard, paired with the few that grew on the walls, was enough to make it about 20 steps before losing it from view. It also meant they were dealing with a narrow, spiral stair case. Descending it meant no more than two could be side by side at a time into the inky darkness. There were no windows to be found, or even doors. This stair way now had one exit far below the ground level…
Clearly though there had once been other exits from this stairway. Every now and then, those who had begun to descended downward would see covered arches where hallways had branched off. They had been sealed with what appeared to be fallen rubble marked with a dark line across. Clearing this had meaning but what?
It would not be until those who ventured into the unknown began to feel the air cool around them that they would even find weakness in the stone barriers. These few appeared thrown together in a hurry and marked with a red line.
But the true drive was the feeling of wanting to be found. The deeper they descended, the stronger the pull was. The crystals that grew from the walls also had begun to change. The rich purple they had been above was lightening. They were also smaller, farther apart, casting long shadows on all who ventured.
At the bottom of the stairs opened up into a vast room that was as large as a football field and as tall as a five story building. Crystals, much larger in size, grew from the walls, ceiling, and floor. They had shifted as well. In the cold of the room, they appeared almost a pale blue to cast twisted shadows along the wall. In the corners of the room, glowing in the light, skeletons lay in piles. Some were unable to be identified. Others were clearly…human. All one could tell was they had all been down there in quite some time.
But more importantly, in the flick of the light appeared movement in the back right corner. As quickly as one could look, it was gone. Only to reappear directly above them.
A hiss from the ceiling and all one needed to do was look up to see a Giant Scorpion Youma. Releasing its hold on the crystals around it, the beast dropped several yards away from the ‘guests’ to hiss once more. Ground shaking from its weight, the back wall began to crumble revealing something very important…
A shifting mass of energy and sand formed together into a callous mass. There was light coming from it but all around it, chaos swarmed in dark energy.
The Code.
But first, they had to get through the lair of the beast!
Paris, Newgrange, and Altair though had found themselves falling into the darkness that was below the Academy. Down they would go with rubble and crystal shards until all three bodies made impact with something hard and solid.
A stone floor.
The room they had fallen into was long and narrow, clearly long since cleaned out leaving nothing more than smooth walls and floors. Above them, the opening they had come through. To their left, a door that appeared slightly broken…something on the outside was forcing it in. Rubble blocked the door from being opened. Their only light was from the crystals that had fallen with them. Somehow, these stones had kept the rest from growing.
So while the rest of the group was about to face off a rather angry scorpion, these three had found themselves a cold room all alone. Where words from above came down as mumbles.

So far all Centisima had done was trail behind the group, picking his way carefully over rumble and avoiding the drop into the darkness that promised a bad time. He hadn’t spoken to anyone or hardly looked in their direction. His skin was crawling and his own reaction to this place irritated him.
And then of course some moron fell into the darkness below and carried two people along with him. “Holy s**t,” was all he could say, frozen in place as they disappeared from view and the others reacted with various gasps of horror.
He paced at first, eyeing the stairs and then the inky blackness. He didn’t know them and he was not about to risk his life. So it was down the stairs he went, following the others into the hallway that contained, oh fabulous, a giant scorpion.
No, actually, this was fabulous. It was a great distraction and he’d fought youma before with great success. Even if this was a big one, he had some serious back-up.
"Let’s kick some scorpion a**! Venom Claw!"
He was already moving towards the youma, his right hand coated in swirling purple energy. "Come on ugly, give it your best shot," he challenged. He had one minute to use his attack and that would be plenty but he was really hoping to act as a distraction, giving everyone else a chance to attack.
Beckoning Chaos
He hasn't actually attacked yet but...
Venom Claw Centisima calls his attack and shakes out his right hand, coating it in purple light and giving the appearance of a centipedes’ forcipules. Touching his opponent causes redness and swelling, mimicking the effects of a centipede bite. The effect of the bite lasts for 30 seconds. This attack can only be used once per battle. If the attack is not used within 1 minute, the claw will fade.

Sailor Ananke
Before Ananke could reach anything she heard her companions scream out. "Alta- Gahh!" Ananke fumbled to the ground when the large creature landed. She stared wide eyed... As she quickly tired to regain her footing. She looked around to see if anyone was nearby her... Ananke backed up to the wall but made sure to keep sight of the creature. She had to keep sight of everyone around her but unfortunately her abilities made her unable to make a move... She had to hope that everyone else could handle the front lines.
She was not feeling good, not at all. She was feeling pain, both physical and emotional hurt in the form of soreness and fright. She was shivering and sniffling and soon those sniffles turned into tears and more pronounced crying that was choked back at the same time. Where is this now? Was she alive? Who else had fallen and were they alive as well? She heard muffled sounds from above as she swiped a shaking palm at the wetness impeding her from testing the extent of the use of her vision. Maybe there were still people there and someone may be checking on the victims of the fall.
She cried out, intent on doing so at the top of her lungs if possible for her. "HE-HE-HELLO I-IS THERE ANYONE T-THERE? I-I AM GOING TO CHECK ON WHO ELSE H-HAS FALLEN WITH M-ME! P-PLEASE PLEASE P-PLEASE HELP, PLEASE HELP US, H-HELP US PLEASE," and at this point a sob broke in followed by another before she choked back the rest and added, "I-I'LL ALSO LOOK FOR A WAY OUT DOWN H-HERE!"
Her sniffling continued as her tears continued to fall. And she continued to shake as she attempted further movement and felt around gradually to take in the feel of the surface that she had landed on while she attempted to begin to get not only her rebelling vision but also her winded frame and aching muscles to cooperate in her endeavor of looking around for the knight she had attempted to keep from falling, the knight who had also attempted to do the same, and anyone else who may also have fallen into this place.
