Dear my sweet,
By the nine, I can't wait to see you. This seems so cliche, but for the past couple nights I've just been dreaming about curling up in bed with your fluff. It's been so cold.
I know you mentioned before how much you love sweets, so I've readied a bunch of treats for when you make it here. Mostly some chocolate treats. I also got you a bunch of presents for the jubilee. I remember how much you said you love the colors pink and purple, and I found this really cute fluffy blanket that's black with light pink and purple polkadots. I was going to send it to you, but it was too big to fit in the box.
I did throw in a few other things, though. There's a few gifts in the bag. These things reminded me of you, so I hope you like them.

There was a box sitting at their doorstep, carefully tied shut with a beautiful brown ribbon wrapped around the ivory box. Inside, there was another box, much smaller, and filled to the brim with chocolates. Underneath the box was a small letter, written on rather simple, but beautiful parchment, with little vine-like designs around the edges.
I hope the chocolates haven't melted by the time this gets to you! I remember you mentioning how much you loved white chocolate, and I wanted to get these for you. I don't know when I'll actually get to see you again, but I wanted you to have these right away!
...I miss you. I think about you a lot. Sometimes, when I'm just laying in bed, I like to think you're next to me. And other times, I like to lay there and pet my fluffbug and pretend her fur is your pretty white hair.
Maybe when I see you again, you can tell me if the chocolates were any good, okay?

Crux had stared at the unopened box of crayons that Tamandani had gotten her. Maylis had her own box too. The little hybrid was used to using the broken pieces of crayons from a tub that had started out as several large boxes. But now she had her very own box, with so many different colors... She almost didn't know where to start. She'd found a poem she liked and wanted to turn it into a valentine for someone special. She hadn't even told Maylis how she felt about this Nightmare and the purple imp was her best friend. Her sister now. Chewing her lip, Crux began with a heart and then added the poem in the center. She added her name because why not? They should know who it was who liked them. She did blush a little bit, but as she stared at her valentine and thought it looked a little plain. So since she liked stars, she threw some on in different colors and then added some hearts because it was that time of year. Once she was finished with it, she sat back with a happy smile.

I know you don't like flowers, so I didn't get you any. Instead I wrote you this instead.
If I were to give you a bouquet, I would start with an Iris.
(That means I have a message for you.)
Then I would put in roses, pink and orange and lavender. (Those mean friendship, and enchantment, and enthusiasm)
Next I would add Monkshood to represent you, and a Spider Ophrys for me. (That's Chivalry and Adroitness)
Can you tell I found a book of flower meanings in the library?
I'd finish it off with a white heather (luck), Mugwort (happiness), and a striped tulip. (That means beautiful eyes, which you do have. ) Finally, I'd sneak in a single red rose. (That would be how I feel about you.)
And then I'd probably throw it in the trash, because you don't even like flowers and would think that I'm being sappy. Don't argue, I know you.
Still, I can't help how I feel, and I don't know if you feel the same way or not. I know we're friends, and part of me doesn't want to spoil that, but maybe you'd like to go on a date with me?

Giselle felt very conscious of the letter in her hands. It was the product of hours of labor; she must have gone through dozens of rejects that were imperfect in some way. Either the words weren't quite right or her handwriting smudged. But it had to be perfect. She reached her crush's apartment (discovered purely by chance; she wasn't a stalker!),looked around to make sure no one was watching, then quickly tucked the letter into the mail slot and just as quickly got out of there. As Giselle went down the sidewalk she reached up and tugged on a magenta curl while biting her lip, uncharacteristic shows of nervousness from usually stoic the Elf. What was she thinking? Even as a child she'd never been so impulsive! Okay, so they had the most beautiful emerald eyes she'd ever seen. And the clothing they wore was never quite improper but gave all the right sorts of hints to what lay underneath. It was still no excuse for her behavior! This was definitely a bad idea. But she'd already left the letter, and it was too risky to go back. What if she was spotted? She'd asked them to meet her at a certain location if they might be interested; should she just back out? That made her frown a little. No, she'd made a choices (no matter how ill-advised she felt they might be) and she was determined to keep her end of the bargain! Heart fluttering in nervous anticipation, she went to the little cafe to sit and wait.

Bliss was so in love. Like so, sooooo in love! It was as if Kallistos had personally guided her to the cutest thing she'd ever seen! Her big sibling just shook her head when Bliss told her about the situation (okay, so she'd had a lot of crushes already, but this time was different!), telling Bliss that it was just more puppy love and not the real thing, but Bliss had eventually managed to convince Tarot of the truth of her feelings! (Or maybe just wore her down, but a victory was a victory!) Of course Bliss was going to tell them in person, that was a given, but Tarot had suggested that maybe a hand-written note would be more special. That was when Bliss remembered the arrows going around for Hunter's Jubilee. She'd begged Tarot to get one for her (personal love note delivered by a love arrow, how much more romantic could she get!?); her big sibling must have really been moved by the depth of her love, because it only took an hour of begging to get her to go down to the festival with Bliss to find an arrow! Once she had it she'd racked her brain for the perfect thing to put on her perfect love note to attach to her perfect arrow so she could give it to the most perfect person ever, and she was pretty sure she'd come up with the best thing ever. Now she was waiting at the entrance to one of their shared classes, waiting for them to show up so she could hand them the arrow, watch them read the note, and see them totally fall for her!
(( Sorry for my fail attempt at gold glitter > o> Also it was drawn on a piece of paper and rolled up to be attached to the arrow, but I was a dumb and made the paper white so you can't really see it XD ))

Shard wasn't one for words, he was better with actions and showing his feelings through gestures. He didn't think he was the showy sort but when he found out he had competition, well, he did what he had to do. In this case, he'd hired some of the more musically talented students from Arkham to play back-up.
When he was sure he had their attention (as well as everyone else's), the baphomet gestured to the hired musicians and just as they rehearsed, the song began to play.
"There was a point when we were cool. And it never went bad 'til you were holding his hand, And I couldn't say a word. But who cares? Now I've been talking to myself. Making up a new plan on how to get you back It'll probably never work."
Shard strut up to his intended, ignoring the other nightmare they were with, and all but purred, "And I'm screwed." into their ear. Light on his hooves, Shard trotted backwards, the band jumping from refrain right to the chorus, which Shard belted out at the top of his lungs,
"He's a teen, a teenager in love. He's a teen, a teenager in love. What a tragic attraction. What's the point of romance? He's a teen, a teenager in love. I'm a fool with a curse and a crush. What a magic distraction. What's the point of romance?"
But just before he got to the line bemoaning the state of his heart, another song began to play. With a cheeky grin, he smoothly began to sing,
"Here we go again, I kinda wanna be more than friends. So take it easy on me, I'm afraid you're never satisfied. Here we go again, we're sick like animals we play pretend. You're just a cannibal and I'm afraid I won't get out alive."
It may have been forbidden to use magic on campus, but it was just a showy, innocent little plant spell that Shard danced out, and with a stomp of his hoof,
"Oh, oh, I want some more. Oh, oh, what are you waiting for? Take a bite of my heart tonight. Oh, oh, I want some more. Oh, oh, what are you waiting for? Say goodbye to my heart tonight."
With that, the band packed up and got the hell out before the other nightmare with Shard's intended got over their shock and all hell broke loose.

Mytrax had heard of serenades, heard the effect they had on people. She herself wasn't certain of how she would take to being serenaded but she wasn't adverse to expressing her feelings. Provided she wasn't expected to write the song from scratch.
Instead, she heard a catchy little tune and thought how apt it was and how she intended to handle whatever relationship they would have. Even if it was all arranged. Maybe she was only doing this out of obligation but she was a chimera who took her responsibilities very seriously indeed.
All she had with her was the song on a music player with speakers attached. She asked them to come with her to a rather secluded spot (because despite the showy nature of chimera courtship, they were already engaged so there was no need for that in Mytrax's opinion.)
After a couple of false starts, Mytrax pressed on though quite red in the face.
"I could lift you up. I could show you what you want to see, And take you where you want to be. You could be my luck. Even if the sky is falling down, I know that we'll be safe and sound."
Mytrax was getting the suspicious feeling she should be doing more than singing but she didn't know how to dance! At least, not without someone having choreographed the steps.
"I could fill your cup. You know my river won't evaporate, This world we'll still appreciate. You could be my luck. Even in a hurricane of frowns, I know that we'll be safe and sound."
And on she sang, standing in one spot until the song finished.

Pandora took a deep breath. This was the moment she had been waiting for. She was going to take the person she had feelings for to a cute little cafe on the corner that they had been raving about for a while. She was nervous, but she knew she had to put that out of her mind. She had arranged all of this before and hoped it all went according to plans. She didn't thinks he could bare it if something went wrong.
When they arrived, she led them to a table near the back of the room, but it was close to a little make shift stage that was mostly just a chair and a mic set up. Smiling at her friend, to their surprise, she walked toward it and pulled open the guitar case that was sitting there. In it was her acoustic that she only used for special occasions. She gave it a quick strum to make sure it was tuned correctly before speaking into the mic, "This song is dedicated to the person I've had my eyes on for a while. I hope they feel the saem way about me as I do them."

When she finished she put down the guitar, placing it back in it's case. She hopped down from the chair and walked to her friend, taking their hands in hers. "I've been meaning to tell you for a while... This was all for you.. and I've been wondering, would you be mine?" She stood there, very nervously, waiting for an answer.
