"Was it .. something like this?" She mimicked the look of shocked indignation, "or maybe this?" she scrunched her face into an angry look, but instead she looked like she had perhaps farted instead. Such is life of someone far too friendly to be angry.

Miranda's expression relaxed a into her usual smile and she shrugged, "I guess it's natural to want to try and reach out through conversation - try to find like minds and stuff? I dunno. I hope I didn't bore you!"

"I'll be paying cash, make it easy on both of us!" Once she found her wallet she fished out the exact money needed and offered it over to him, "But sure! I can wait around easy, I don't got a lot going on today other than buying my dad his gifts!"

"Yeah," he chuckled. “Something like that.” Actually not even close but he appreciated the ridiculous face.

"You, my dear, are a delight. I could never be bored in your company."” He accepted the cash, counted it and made an appreciative sound. "Nothing better," he told her as he printed out a receipt and put her records in a bad, "than getting the exact money. It’s so satisfying."

Jayce handed her the bag and then an extra piece of paper with his number on it. "If you still have stuff to do, meet me back here in an hour. If something comes up, give me a call. Or I guess, if you plan on hanging around until then, you might need my number some day anyway."

She actually blushed a little at being called a delight,"Ah! I try to be at least a little entertaining," Miranda replied with a grin. "Don't have to do math or anything!"

Miranda took the bag and seemed a bit thoughtful for a moment or two as if trying to figure out what to do, "How about I take these records home so I don't have to drag it with me for our outing! I'll text ya in an hour or so to see where ya at and where ya wanna meet up?"

It seemed better than creepily stalking around the shop and waiting for him to be done with his shift.
