Otto almost didn't feel the warm peck to his forehead, which was starting to numb from the cold air. But that did little to take away the happy surprise from it. "Yeah. Like.. couple years ago. Or somethin'. I dunno, weird s**t happens so often I got it all mixed up now." He gave an animated shrug of his shoulders and arms. "How about we just don't give it any arms." He concluded, stooping down to start making a snowball. He stood then, slowly eyeing Chance up and down as he carefully packed snow into a ball.

Chance wrinkled his nose and laughed. "No arms and legs it is," he said with a grin. "We'll make it a snow blob. Or maybe just roll a giant ball of snow up and give it some eyes and a smile. That can't be very dangerous, can it?"
He knelt on the ground and started to roll his own snowman base, completely oblivious to Otto's suspicious look.

"Nix the snowman idea. I say we just make a huge a** snowball the size of a ******** building." Though he thought it was genius, he forgot to remember that snow and ice weighed rather a lot when packed up. A ball of such a size would have to be pushed by more than two young men.
Otto took a few careful steps back, a smirk slowly growing on his lips. Chance wasn't looking. He'd never know. He'd never catch him.
Otto whipped the snowball at Chance's head, and then ran for it down the semi paved walkway.

"Isn't the snow already as high as a building?" Chance pointed out, gazing at the towers of snowdrifts currently surrounding the place as he crouched low to the ground. "I mean...it's pretty ******** tall as it is. You just jumped out a window into it."
He went back to rolling a snowball, Chance balancing on his knees as he shuffled forward, and was just thinking it was large enough when -
Splatter.
The snowball hit him square in the side of the head. He gave a yelp and toppled over, Chance spluttering as he batted snow from his hair, floundering around in the snow for a moment before he caught sight of an all too familiar figure darting away.
"You little s**t - "
He grabbed a handful of snow and pelted after Otto, grinning as he pelted it forward.
"That was a low blow, getting a man when he's not paying attention."

Otto laughed. He'd dared to slow down and peek over his shoulder just to see the chaos he'd caused his boyfriend. He was rewarded with the sight of Chance now gunning for him and pelting snow balls forward. With a yelp he moved to dodge the oncoming snow bullet, but tripped up his footwork. As such, he tumbled straight into a snowdrift, and was buried within the miniature avalanche that followed. A sharp yelp, muffled, came from within the snowy grave; limbs flailing wildly. "It's in my coat it's in my coat ********!" He sputtered as he frantically freed himself.

Chance skidded on the snow in an attempt at slowing down and very nearly crashed into the same snowdrift that Otto had toppled into. He was also laughing probably harder than strictly necessary, half doubled over as he came to a stop beside him.
"Here, wait - " he wheezed out with a s**t eating grin, digging around in the snow for one of Otto's arms. "I'll help you out, stop - flailing you idiot - "

Otto grimaced as snow melted down his spine while taking Chance's hand for the help up. "Don't call yer boyfriend an idiot, dumbass." He grumbled with hidden mirth, dusting himself off while also shaking out his coat; a fruitless attempt to shake the snow out from his clothing. It had already melted against his warm skin. "Let's see how calm you are when snow gets in yer coat." He huffed indignantly, his chin tilted high with arrogance.

He dragged Otto up out of the snow, still laughing.
"But you're such a good looking idiot," Chance teased, reaching to brush snow out of Otto's hair. He was still grinning. "Even if you did just fall into a snow bank - which, by the way, was very graceful of you."
He adopted a mock confident look.
"I would never stoop so low," said Chance airily, sneaking one arm around his boyfriend's waist and pulling him suddenly close. "And besides..." He bent his head and kissed Otto abruptly, square on his cold mouth.
"I'm always calm," he whispered, and then let go, darting away with a handful of snow in his hand.

Otto couldn't maintain a steady glare at Chance while the man laughed at him, choosing instead to glare at everything else surrounding him. He kept his arms crossed, huffing indignantly. Chance was stupid, and so was Winter and snow and--- His eyes bugged out as he was suddenly pulled much closer, giving Chance a rather scandalized glare. He hadn't been done pretending to be upset; Chance ruined it! Worser so, the man kissed him in such a way that rendered him even more speechless. Not given a chance to form thoughts before during or after, he was left with nothing but a smart mouthed whisper and a rapidly beating heart. The man was out of reach soon after, leaving Otto to recollect his composure all over again. Chance did not play fair. That b*****d. He slowly came back to reality, grabbing at a handful of snow and packing it carelessly into a vaguely ball shaped form. All the while he narrowed his eyes at Chance.

There was something about catching Otto off guard that always seemed to make Chance feel particularly pleased with himself - and the fact that he had left him speechless and staring made Chance toss a grin over his shoulder at him.
"What are you going to do with that?" he called cheerfully back at him, breath visible in the chill air as he gestured at the snow in Otto's hands.
Then he pelted his own snowball at him.

Feeling his snark come back, Otto opened his mouth to fire a retort. However, that's when Chance's snowball pelted him in the head. With a comical sounding grunt, Otto sputtered and brushed the snow off his face. "a**!" He yelled out, grinning despite himself and hurling his snowball at the tall, dark haired man. "It's ********' on now..." He muttered, grabbing snow from a nearby drift and balling it up; his eyes locked onto his target.

Chance let out a whoop of laughter, pumping his fist into the air.
"Score!" he yelled triumphantly, but his grin was immediately wiped as Otto's snowball smacked him straight in the forehead. A squawk of surprise escaped, and he staggered sideways, colliding with one of the snowdrifts and causing a small avalanche.
He spluttered and pushed away to free himself, snow in his hair and eyes as he threw a snowball blindly in Otto's direction.
"Last I checked, you liked that part of me," Chance yelped, shaking his head like a dog and spraying snow everywhere.

"Bite me!" He retorted back, after suffering a laughing fit at Chance's expense. He dodged the blindly thrown snowball, and whipped a new one straight at Chance's chest.

"Only if you promise to bite back," Chance sang, just to be particularly obnoxious, and let out a wheeze as Otto's snowball collided with his chest. He stumbled, knelt, and scooped up a handful of snow on his own, rolling in gloved hands.
Then he scrambled towards Otto, grinning as he flung it at him.

"Cheeky sunnuva..." He mumbled to himself after Chance's obnoxiously sing-song comment. Thankfully his aim was still good, and a rise of satisfaction swelled in his chest hearing the hollow sound the snowball made once it found it's target. "s**t--" He grinned, stepping backwards as Chance burst forward again. He tried to wince away from the snowball, which then clipped him in the shoulder. Otto laughed and threw one right back at him. However, he neglected to aim properly, and watched it soar far too high over the man's head.
