He quirked a brow at the question-- then shook his head. "I have sigils for protection as well. Save for those who truly mean harm, most will leave me be." He nodded, "your concern is appreciated, though." He might as well thank him for it, even if it was misplaced. Perhaps he should look into finding an exorcist... it did seem that under all of that unnatural anger, the was a genuinely caring person.
Once they reached the cliff side, and the grave, he came to a stop near Rhun and stared down at the tombstone. He remained for a moment to examine it, also partially to give Rhun some space. His emotions seemed to be swelling up again, and Kreios was not entirely sure how long he could withstand the urge to lash out - it wasn't exactly something he wanted to find out, either.
He sighed, then turned to follow after him towards the cliff side, eyes scanning the area for a good spot to place the new sigils. "I am sorry for your loss." He finally caught up with the other man, and spared him what could be construed as a sympathetic look, then passed him to go draw the sigils on the ground in a few spots.... It wasn't really secure, but it would probably make them think twice.

Of course he had ways of protecting himself, but Rhun was concerned none the less. He was always the type to shoulder everything in hopes no one would have to suffer. A selfish trait of his. A self destructive one at that.
It had been quiet for a while, Rhun just staring off, trying not to think about it all too hard as they walked.
"Thank you."
She is the reason you have to hide yourself.
"She's the reason I keep moving. Keep fighting. To protect those too weak to stand on their own." he confessed, his eyes still looking off into the distance, not fixating on anything in particular. "I always figured one day my resilience would run out and maybe then I could look back on all the good I've done." he continued, shaking his head lightly. "I'm beginning to realize how naive I had been this whole time."
He sighed, blinking for a moment then shifting his gaze to Kreios. "I apologize. Here I am just talking away about trivial personal matters. You must think I'm either really trusting or really stupid to be divulging so much personal information to someone I just met." He closed his eyes and smiled. "I'm probably both honestly." he snorted a bit, shook his head and continued along their path.

"I'm aware of some of the circumstances surrounding her death." He nodded, carefully divulging what information he had garnered. "During my questions about this place I looked into its past as well as its future." That would have to suffice. Many more questions and he would return to deflecting with short, enigmatic answers.
Kreios returned to his side again, eyeing him for a moment as if he were trying to decide what sort of word to use for him. "Yes." Ah, too harsh, "But while it is a great weakness for you, it is also a great strength. It does not help that I purposely create myself to be a trusting individual." He nodded a little, and then shifted to reveal a couple of stitched sigils on the inside of his coat.
"It makes the humans more tolerant of my presence if they feel they can trust me with their secrets. It's not a particularly strong sigil, so it doesn't usually work on nonhuman people." He shrugged stiffly, and then straightened himself out again. "I believe I am done with marking the grounds for now. I will need to recuperate for a few hours before I can mark the other side."

Rhun tensed just a bit for only a fleeting second. His heart ached greatly over the comment. That Kreios already knew some of what happened. He took a deep breath, releasing the tension for now. He couldn't even form words nor did he even want to question what he knew. It was a topic that he knew would easily get under his skin and he didn't want that to cause any problems if his emotions got out of control again.
He quirked an eyebrow as he was showed the sigils in his coat. "Well, that explains a lot." he commented, as it really didn't explain anything to him. It didn't normally work on non-humans. So was it really affecting him? If so, then why? He sighed, unable to figure out that answer himself.
Rhun nodded at Kreios, "What do you do to recuperate?" he inquired, not even sure what it was that he'd need. Any incubus or succubus he knew usually had "plans" for resting, if you'd call it that. He wanted to make sure that wasn't the case. He was hoping that wasn't the case.

He supposed he could have elaborated - saying the reason it didn't work on nonhumans was usually because they were unaware of such things... and the nonhumans it did work on were... weak minded. Or not guarded against such tricks. He tilted his head slightly at the question, was recuperating really such a strange thing? Did he never take time to rest?
"I eat, usually," he paused, glancing at the sky for the time... "It's around dinner time as it is anyway, so I will likely return home and make something... Though simply sitting for a while works as well." He shrugged, honestly he didn't feel too much of a need to elaborate so much but Rhun seemed to be the sort of person who needed things spelled out for him for one reason or another. "Why do you ask?"

Eat. Ah, well, that was something he could help with. "I'm actually really good at cooking if you needed help with that." he offered, smiling to cover how silly he felt for his previous thought. Then Kreios asked why.
You forget he's smarter than you. He's already picked up on what you meant. Now he'll never be you're friend because you're being horribly judgmental.
"Different Metas require different ways to recuperate. Sleep, Food, Meditation, Healing..."
Intimacy.
"Sorry that I wasn't specific." he half-lied, covering up the thoughts he had in his mind.

His question seemed to upset Rhun... Why was that? It was a simple inquiry into his own inquiry... Was it really that strange to him? "I see." He replied with something just to confirm that he'd been listening... Sort of. He'd heard the words but hadn't really taken them in, he was too busy thinking about what sort of Gift Rhun had received that made "recuperating" such a worrisome topic for him.
"I am as well, or at least I am told." He shrugged, "though it's not often that I cook for others. Perhaps in the future I will take you up on the offer." He nodded again, "for now I think I will be heading back towards the complex... will you be coming?"

Rhun was a bit surprised, most Meta's he met were terrible cooks. The thought of Kira's food sent a shiver up his spine. He nodded, "You may want to someday. Just as maybe I could taste your cooking as well some day." he smirked, letting go his previous feelings for this one instead.
"I'll walk with you." he figured he'd come up with something he should do by the time they returned to the complex. If anything, he could check on the twins, though he knew they were in good hands and would more than likely be unconscious for a long while after what happened.

Well, that seemed to cheer him up. "I suppose there is the opportunity to create a shared dinner. That is what most people would do in this situation, I think." He nodded, clasping his hands behind his back again as he began to walk back down the hill towards the housing complex.
"With this new development, do you still have plans to try and rouse everyone for a get together?" Kreios glanced over at Rhun, tail twitching a little. It might still be good to check the other residents for hints of the danger.... but it was pretty much solidified that it was outside the gates.

"I'd really like that." his smirk grew. Usually he had ended up just cooking for others, sometimes having the occasional aid of tiny helping hands, but other than that, he could not recall actually creating something together with someone. It sounded like a great idea to him honestly. Rhun thought for a moment, "In the better interest of the Sanctuary, I still want to have the get together. I want the Metas to know we won't be fearful of our attackers. That.. maybe... together we can stand even stronger." he smiled half-awkwardly but he was obviously confident about what his words meant and what they implied. He was truly wanting to be a source of strength for others, he just never knew how. And in some weird twist of fate, Kreios' wise words over just the past couple days had opened his eyes even just a little to find a direction in pursuit to achieve those goals. He felt indebted though he didn't exactly want to say it else it might kill the mood or make it awkward, at least not just yet.

He listened to his reasoning, then when he was done, nodded. "I agree. If you don't hold it, it could risk worrying the other residents that one, their condition is worse than initially thought, and two, that whomever attacked them is bad enough to warrant hiding away." He came to a stop at the edge of the path that would take him back to his house, then looked to Rhun.
"This is where we part, I suppose. It was good talking with you. I will procure the necessary components for an anger talisman by evening tomorrow."

Rhun nodded, maybe he was getting the hang of it, not being so selfish and actually considering the feelings of other people. As the headmaster, this was kind of a different story. He was sure, he was such a different person as Rhun. Really Rhun, that maybe he really was more caring than Rasiel ever had been. The thoughts began to break down and start to meld and he shook the idea. It was best not to think about all that at the moment less he start disassociating again. They stopped at the edge of the path, where they would inevitably part ways. "As always, it's such a pleasure to talk with you." he nodded once more, "Thank you for your help. I genuinely appreciate it." he closed his eyes for a moment, smiling. It could even be questioned that maybe it was Rasiel's genuine smile under the mask just now. "Thank you for everything." he added, bowed his head lightly, then took another path that would lead away from the adult housing complex.
