"Heh, thanks." Lixes wasn't sure what he thought about something on his person being called 'pretty' since he wasn't a girl but at the same time it was a compliment. As such he felt that it was best to except it and revel in the fact that he had pretty markings, "You should see the ones my brother Drexl has. He has really pale skin compared to me and our other brother, so his markings stand out more brightly."

As the girl confirmed that what he was saying was right Lixes said, "Very neat. I've never seen one before myself, does he look cool? I've heard that the tribe does, with fins for ears and really interesting eyes." He wondered if those rumors about them were true. If anyone would know it would be this girl since she had one for a father.

His attention turned for a moment to Maha, taking in what Masika was saying about him, that he liked to be petted, before giving Pyre a momentary glance, "He does sometimes. More often though he seems to prefer prowling about. One of my fathers got him for us as a guard radaku. He takes his job pretty seriously too." As she could likely tell from the way that Pyre seemed to be looking and sniffing around the area, alert to any threats that might be out there. It was the fiery radaku's job to protect him after all. Looking back at Masika he said, "One day I will be strong enough that I don't need his protection, but until then I am glad to have him nearby."

Reaching out Lixes gave Maha a scratch under the chin, though not too much attention that Pyre might get jealous.

"Not sure where you live at, though if its near to us then you should definitely meet him and see. Drexl is really nice, if a bit on the quiet side." Lixes seemed to talk enough for the both of them, though it wasn't say that Drexl was antisocial, he was just a lot quieter was all. Giving a laugh he said, "The only one that he's really chatty with is Jerami, which is a buddy of ours. Ever meet him? He's mixed blood like we are." He wasn't sure how many people that Masika might have meet in the area so he might as well ask.

Leaning over at the comment about her having her daddy's eyes he looked into them, studying them for a moment, then nodded, "Yeah, those are pretty interesting, just like I've heard." He said before standing up right again, "Have you heard that there is a tribe whose eyes actually glow? Sounds pretty crazy to me, but you never know, it could be real." Or just stories that people were making up, hard to tell sometimes. He supposed he wouldn't know until he saw one of those glowy eyed people, though there didn't seem to be any in Jauhar at present.

"Hm? I think they aren't too common, I mean I've never seen them before, but others might have. I mean I don't really get out of Andile a lot, just as far as we are presently. My parents are super over protective and want us to stick close to home."

Lixes gave a smile, "Oh, is she?" It made him wonder for a moment if maybe her the little girl's mother was around some where watching. It was something that one of his fathers always did when he and his brothers were little, watching over them from afar while they played. It allowed them to have fun but in a safe manner, then he added an extra layer of protection with Pyre. It meant that somewhere out there he might be being watched by a scary Alkidike lady... here was to hoping that she saw him play the part of the hero and didn't toss him into a river or something.

As the girl suddenly pointed at a glowing mushroom he turned to look at it, giving a nod of his head, "That is what I heard. That and they crystals are as black as night!" He said, throwing his hands into the air to make it seem that much more exciting what he was saying. Giving a grin he said, "I think it would be fun to meet them... but they are kinda far away." Which was a shame, given that he'd never even left Andile they might as well be from a different world.

Lixes looked at the girl that stepped closer to him, giving a thoughtful sound, "Hmm... I don't know, they might be alright. I guess I would need to meet with one of them before I know for certain though, huh? Some day maybe, once I am ready to leave Andile to explore... though I suppose where the group is planning to go first is sort of the exact opposite direction then Yael is." It was as though he realized that as he spoke, that his group was planning to go to Zena, not Yael, meaning that they would be traveling away from the glowy eyed tribe, huh?

Giving a laugh he said, "Well, maybe that can be the second place my group travels." It was a thoughtful comment, mostly said to himself, as though he were making it up as he went. Either way it wouldn't be for a while yet, not when they hadn't even gotten themselves any weapons yet. They weren't going anywhere any time soon, but it would be good for the group to sit down together and make some plans. Turning his attention to the little one at his side he said, "Come on, how about we head back toward the village?" They should probably look for her family, huh?

"From what I gather it's pretty far to the north east of here in a place that is said to be rather snowy all the time. I really look forward to seeing that snow though I hear that its quite cold." He sounded quite excited as though he couldn't wait to see that snow. Sure, it was a while yet before he'd be able to get there, but he was still looking forward to it. He wanted to go, but he wasn't ready to go, meaning that it might be a while yet before he got to Zena. A shame, but it just meant that he and his brother, as well as their adventure group, just had time to plan!

Looking around Lixes said, "Yeah, I know the way, we will have to restrace my steps, but it shouldn't take too long." The path might be a little winding since he hadn't been traveling in a straight line until he came to heroicly save the damsel Masika, but they would be able to get back, "Are you fine with following me? If not you can either ride on my back or that of Pyre, we are both strong enough to carry you." He'd allow Masika to pick which she wanted to get a ride from. At least if she wanted to get a piggy back ride that was.

Lixes gave a nod of his head, "Alright, hop on!" He said, squatting down to allow the girl to climb onto his back. Once she was there he gave a little whistle to alert Pyre, "It's time to head back to the village, buddy! We are gonna see if we can find her parents." They would seek them out, hand her safely over, and after that he would decide what he wanted to do. Maybe he'd find his brother and drag him off for an adventure? There had to be something out there that the two of them could do for fun after all? It sort of all depended on whether or not he was busy with Jerami or not. The pretty boy did seem to be adept at steal Drexl's attention even if neither were aware of it.

Pushing up to his feet Lixes said, "We are going to head back, I will keep the pace quick enough that we get back soon, but not so fast that you risk falling off." A middle ground that would allow him training in the art of carrying a damsel in distress to safety! Something that any hero should be able to do in their sleep thus training that Lixes definitely needed for the future.
